Once a new Kingdom Hall is built, it needs to be kept clean and tidy to reflect the qualities and personality of the God whom we worship—a God of order. (1 Cor. 14:33) The Bible associates holiness and spiritual cleanness with physical cleanliness. (Rev. 19:8) Thus, if people desire to be acceptable to Jehovah, they must also practice good hygiene. In harmony with these principles, we should always feel comfortable inviting interested people to our meetings, confident that the condition of the hall will complement the good news we share with them. They will see that we worship a God who is holy and who will soon transform the earth into an uncontaminated paradise. (Isa. 6:1-3; Rev. 11:18) Whatever the local situation, our Kingdom Hall should be exemplary when it comes to being well-kept, since it bears the name of Jehovah and is a place of pure worship.—Deut. 23:14. w15 7/15 4:13-15

Una cosa es construir un salón, y otra, mantenerlo limpio y ordenado para que siga reflejando las cualidades de Jehová. No olvidemos que él ama el orden (1 Cor. 14:33). La Biblia dice que la limpieza física está muy relacionada con la limpieza espiritual y la santidad (Rev. 19:8). Por eso debemos darle la debida atención; solo así, Jehová aceptará nuestro servicio. Nunca deberíamos sentir vergüenza de invitar a la gente a nuestras reuniones debido al estado del salón. Si les decimos que pronto vamos a vivir en un mundo limpio, es de esperar que nuestro centro de reuniones también lo esté. Así, la gente verá que ponemos en práctica lo que enseñamos y que adoramos a un Dios santo que pronto hará de la Tierra un bello paraíso. (Is. 6:1-3; Rev. 11:18). Pero sin importar dónde vivamos, debemos hacer todo lo posible para que nuestro salón sea un ejemplo de limpieza. No olvidemos que representa a Jehová y que es el lugar donde lo adoramos (Deut. 23:14). w15 15/7 4:13-15

Los cristianos debemos ser leales y neutrales no solo en tiempos de guerra, sino también en tiempos de paz. ¿Por qué? Porque al dedicarnos a Dios le prometimos lealtad, amor y obediencia (1 Juan 5:3). Hemos de obedecer las justas normas de Jehová sea cual sea nuestro país, nuestra crianza o nuestra cultura. Loyalty and neutrality are always issues for true Christians, not just in times of war. Why? Because all who are dedicated to Jehovah have promised him their love, loyalty, and obedience. (1 John 5:3) We want to abide by God’s righteous standards wherever we live and whatever our background, nationality, or culture. Loyalty to Jehovah and to his Kingdom transcends any other attachment we may have. (Matt. 6:33) Such loyalty requires that Christians remain separate from all conflicts and controversies of this world. (Isa. 2:4; John 17:11, 15, 16) People who do not share our faith may feel a special loyalty to their country, tribe, or culture or even to their national sports team. Challenges to such loyalties have resulted in competition and rivalry and, in extreme cases, bloodshed and genocide. Jehovah's Witnesses arrive at a service on Friday night in Vorokhobino, Moscow.

Vasily Kalin, Russia's president of Jehovah's Witnesses, recalled that her entire family had been deported to Siberia as a child. "It's sad and reprehensible that my children and grandchildren should have a similar fate," he said. "I never expected that we would have to be again facing the threat of religious persecution in modern Russia."
Artyom Grigoryan, a former Jehovah's Witness who worked at the Russian headquarters of the group but who now follows the Orthodox Church, said there were "many positive elements" in the organization, such as banning excessive alcohol, smoking and other Unhealthy habits.
Anyway, she said she deserved to be treated with suspicion. "We look from the point of view of the state," he said. "Here is an organization that runs from America, which receives funding from outside, and whose members do not serve in the military and do not vote."
Separated from his parents, who are still members and seeing his departure as sinful, he said Jehovah's Witnesses separated families and "in the logic of the state, they pose a threat."
