En cierta ocasión, incluso pasó toda la noche orando (Luc. 6:12; 22:40-46). ¿Habría hecho eso si pensara que Jehová no lo estaba escuchando? ¿Habría enseñado a sus seguidores a orar si eso no fuera más que una simple terapia para sentirse mejor? Claro que no. Jesús estaba convencido de que la oración era un medio real para hablar con su Padre. Recuerda, la dedicación es prometerle a Dios que le servirás para siempre, pase lo que pase. ¿Debería darte miedo hacer una promesa tan seria? No, claro que no. Jehová se preocupa por ti y te recompensará si haces todo lo posible por acercarte a él (Heb. 11:6). Si te dedicas y te bautizas, tu vida no será peor. Todo lo contrario, mejorará muchísimo. El Diablo es muy distinto a Jehová. Quiere que creas que se preocupa por ti, pero en realidad es un egoísta que solo piensa en sí mismo. No tiene nada bueno que ofrecerle a la gente que lo apoya.
