Los cristianos hacemos bien en imaginar las cosas que Dios ha prometido darnos, sea que vayamos a vivir en el cielo o en la Tierra. ¿Acostumbra usted a hacerlo? Seguro que eso lo ayudará a ser más feliz. Imagínese en el nuevo mundo, por ejemplo. Piense que está trabajando con sus amigos para convertir la Tierra en un hermoso paraíso. Todos sus vecinos aman a Jehová tanto como usted. Tiene una salud de hierro, la fuerza de un roble y un futuro maravilloso por delante. Los encargados de dirigir las labores de restauración le hacen la vida muy agradable, pues lo quieren de verdad. Y usted se siente contento, muy contento, pues está usando sus talentos y habilidades al máximo para el beneficio del prójimo y la gloria de Dios. Es posible incluso que les esté enseñando a unos recién resucitados quién es Jehová (Juan 17:3; Hech. 24:15). No, no es ilusión. Esto que acaba de imaginar se hará realidad; la Biblia nos lo asegura (Is. 11:9; 33:24; 35:5-7; 65:22). w15 15/5 3:15

As Christians we are encouraged by visualizing our hope, whether it is heavenly or earthly. Can you see yourself enjoying the things that God has promised? Contemplating what you may do as God fulfills his promises undoubtedly brings joy to your heart. Perhaps you “see” yourself living on earth forever. Think about cooperating with others in making this globe into a paradise. Your neighbors love Jehovah, even as you do. You are healthy, energetic, and have a bright outlook. Those supervising the work of restoration make life a pleasure because they genuinely care about you. And you are happy using your talents and skills because everything you do is benefiting others and honoring God. For example, you are helping newly resurrected ones to come to know Jehovah. (John 17:3; Acts 24:15) No, this is not a dreamworld. This appealing mental picture is based on Scriptural truths about the future.—Isa. 11:9; 33:24; 35:5-7; 65:22. w15 5/15 3:15

A los siervos de Jehová no nos engaña Satanás, no nos hace creer que no existe. Nosotros sabemos que es real. Sabemos que habló con Eva por medio de una serpiente, que desafió a Jehová en los días de Job, que tentó a Jesús en tres ocasiones y que en 1914, cuando nació el Reino de Dios, les declaró la guerra a los ungidos que quedaban en la Tierra (Gén. 3:1-5; Job 1:9-12; Mat. 4:1-10; Rev. 12:17). Esa guerra continúa hoy día: el Diablo sigue tratando de destruir la fe de los restantes de los 144.000 y de las otras ovejas. Para vencerlo, tenemos que ofrecerle resistencia y blindar nuestra fe. Satanás es todo menos humilde. El que un ángel haya tenido el atrevimiento de desafiar la autoridad de Dios y de convertirse en un dios rival es el colmo de la soberbia y el orgullo. As servants of Jehovah, we are not among those who are misled into thinking that Satan does not exist. We know that the Devil is real, for it was Satan who spoke to Eve through a serpent. (Gen. 3:1-5) Satan taunted Jehovah regarding Job. (Job 1:9-12) It was Satan who tried to tempt Jesus. (Matt. 4:1-10) And after the birth of God’s Kingdom in 1914, it was Satan who began “to wage war” with the remnant of anointed ones. (Rev. 12:17) That war still rages as Satan seeks to destroy the faith of the remnant of the 144,000 and the other sheep. To win the battle, we must take our stand against Satan and remain firm in the faith. Satan is anything but humble. In fact, for a spirit creature to have the audacity to challenge Jehovah’s sovereignty and set himself up as a rival god is the epitome of pride and presumptuousness. Therefore, one way that we can take a stand against Satan is by shunning pride and cultivating humility.—1 Pet. 5:5. w15 5/15 2:3, 4

When under severe hardship, you may feel as did Paul—that you are in or at least very near “the lion’s mouth.” (2 Tim. 4:17) These are times when trust in Jehovah is most challenging—and most essential. For example, suppose you are nursing a dear family member through a chronic illness. Perhaps you have prayed for wisdom and strength. Having done all you can in this regard, do you not find a measure of peace in knowing that Jehovah has his eye upon you and will provide what you need to endure faithfully? Circumstances might make it seem otherwise. You might receive conflicting opinions from doctors. Or relatives who you had hoped would provide comfort might instead seem to make the situation more difficult for you. Keep looking to Jehovah for strength. Keep drawing close to him. (1 Sam. 30:3, 6) When relief comes, your relationship with him will be stronger. w15 4/15 4:10, 11

A newly appointed brother should not feel that as soon as he receives some responsibility in the congregation, he needs to use it to change course—to do things in a way that is completely different from the way they were done before. The need for change is determined, not by one’s desire for change, but by the needs of the congregation and the direction we receive from Jehovah’s organization. So if you are appointed, reassure your fellow believers and show respect for experienced elders by continuing to use their Bible-based methods. However, as you gain experience, you will no doubt share in applying changes that will help the congregation to stay in tune with Jehovah’s progressive organization. In fact, Jehovah may in time move all you faithful learners to do even greater works than those of your teachers.—John 14:12. w15 4/15 2:17

                  No deje de confiar en Jehová

Si está pasando por un problema grave, tal vez se sienta como Pablo: dentro de la boca de un león o muy, muy cerca (2 Tim. 4:17). En esos momentos puede resultar difícil confiar en Jehová, pero es más necesario que nunca. Imagínese por ejemplo que está cuidando a un familiar que lleva mucho tiempo enfermo. Usted está haciendo todo lo posible por salir adelante, y le ha pedido a Dios que le dé aguante y lo ayude a tomar buenas decisiones. Jehová le asegura que ve con sus propios ojos lo que le está pasando y que le dará todo lo que necesita para aguantar y seguir fiel. ¿No lo tranquiliza saber eso? ¿Y si parece que Jehová no lo está ayudando? Quizás los médicos no se ponen de acuerdo sobre cuál es el mejor tratamiento. O tal vez sus familiares no le están dando el apoyo que espera, sino que están complicando la situación. Si es así, no se rinda. Siga confiando en Jehová; siga pidiéndole fuerzas; siga acercándose a él (1 Sam. 30:3, 6). Cuando llegue la ayuda que tanto necesita, sentirá cómo se fortalece su amistad con Dios. w15 15/4 4:10, 11

El hermano que acaba de recibir un nombramiento no debería pensar que tendrá que hacer cambios en la congregación. Las cosas no tienen por qué hacerse de manera completamente distinta a como se han hecho hasta ahora. Los cambios no deben realizarse cuando uno quiere, sino cuando la congregación lo necesite o la organización de Jehová dé alguna instrucción. Así que, si ese es su caso, puede ganarse la confianza de sus hermanos usando con respeto los métodos bíblicos que usan los ancianos más experimentados. Claro, con los años ganará experiencia y podrá hacer los cambios que hagan falta para que su congregación progrese al mismo paso que la organización de Jehová. Tal vez con el tiempo Jehová lo use para hacer “obras mayores” que sus maestros (Juan 14:12). w15 15/4 2:17

Thanks for your true words, Brother larryrobinson !  We are blessed with ca. 15 elders in my cong. Just in Dec. a couple changed to the arabic congregation and after the CO. week, we got a young new one ;-)  In our end-time, we all need alot of elders and mature brothers too.

Student: Sicher.

Professor: Ist Gott allmächtig?

Student: Ja.

Professor: Mein Bruder starb an Krebs, obwohl er zu Gott gebetet hat ihn zu heilen. Die meisten von uns würden versuchen anderen die krank sind zu helfen.  Aber Gott tat es nicht.

Wieso ist dieser Gott dann gut?  hmm?

(Student war still.)

Professor: Du kannst das nicht beantworten, nicht wahr?  Lass uns erneut beginnen junger Freund.

Ist Gott gut ?

Student: Ja.

Professor: Ist Satan gut?

Student: Nein.

Professor: Woher kommt Satan her?

Student:  Von…   Gott ….

Professor: Das ist richtig. Sag mir, Junge, gibt es in dieser Welt das Böse?

Student: Ja.

Professor: Wer hat das Böse erschaffen?

(Student antwortete nicht.)

Professor: Gibt es Krankheit? Unmoral? Hass? Hässlichkeit? All diese schrecklichen Dinge existieren in der Welt, nicht wahr?

Student: Ja, Sir.

Professor: So, wer hat sie erschaffen?

(Student hatte keine Antwort.)

Professor: Die Wissenschaft sagt, das du 5 Sinne hast um die Welt und alles herum zu identifizieren und zu beobachten. Sag mir, Junge, hast du jemals Gott gesehen?

Student: Nein, Sir.

Professor: Hast du jemals Gott gefühlt, Gott gekostet, Gott gerochen?

Hattest  du jemals eine Sinneswahrnehmung was Gott betrifft?

Student:  Nein, Sir. Ich fürchte ich habe nicht.

Professor: Aber du glaubst immer noch an ihn?

Student:  Ja.

Professor:  Laut empirischen, prüfbaren, nachweisbaren Protokollen sagt die Wissenschaft das Gott nicht existiert.  Was sagst du dazu Junge?

Student: Nichts. Ich habe nur meinen Glauben.

Professor: Ja, der Glaube. Das Problem das die Wissenschaft hat.

Student: Professor, gibt es so etwas wie Wärme?

Professor: Ja.

Student: Und gibt es so etwas wie Kälte?

Professor: Ja.

Student: Nein, Sir. gibt es nicht.

( Im Hörsaal war auf einmal sehr ruhig)

Student: Sir, Es gibt mehrere Arten von Wärme, mehr Wärme, Überhitzung, mega Hitze, weiße Hitze, ein wenig Hitze oder gar keine Wärme. Wir können 458 Grad unter Null haben, was gar keine Wärme wäre. Aber danach gibt es nichts mehr. Es gibt keine Kälte. Kalt ist nur ein Wort das wir verwenden um die Abwesenheit der Wärme zu beschreiben. Wir können Kälte nicht messen. Wärme ist Energie. Kälte ist nicht das Gegenteil von Wärme, Sir, lediglich die Abwesenheit.

(Im Hörsaal war es still, man hätte einen Stift fallen hören können.)

Student: Was ist mit der Dunkelheit, Herr Professor? Gibt es so etwas wie eine Finsternis?

Professor: Ja. Was ist die Nacht, ist das keine Finsternis?

Student: Sie irren sich schon wieder, Sir. Die Dunkelheit ist die Abwesenheit von etwas. Sie können wenig Licht, normales Licht, helles Licht, Blinklicht haben. Wenn es aber gar kein Licht gibt, haben Sie nichts, dann ist es dunkel. Ist es nicht so? In Wirklichkeit gibt es keine Dunkelheit, sonst könnten sie die Dunkelheit dunkler machen, nicht wahr?

Professor: Also Gut, was willst du mir damit sagen junger Mann?

Student: Sir, was ich sagen möchte ist das Ihre philosophische Prämisse fehlerhaft ist.

Professor: Fehlerhaft?  Kannst du mir das erklären?

Student: Sir, Sie denken mit der Voraussetzung der Dualität. Sie argumentieren, es ist das Leben und dann ist der Tod, ein guter Gott und ein böser Gott. Sie sehen die Vorstellung von Gott als etwas Endliches, etwas was wir messen können. Sir, die Wissenschaft kann einen Gedanken nicht erklären. Es nutzt Elektrizität und Magnetismus, wurde aber noch nie gesehen, geschweige denn verstanden. Um den Tod als das Gegenteil von Leben zu betrachten müsste man die Tatsache, dass der Tod nicht als materielle Sachen existieren kann, ignorieren.

Der Tod ist nicht das Gegenteil vom Leben, nur die Abwesenheit davon. Nun sagen Sie mir, Professor, bringen Sie ihren Schülern bei dass sie von einem Affen abstammen?

Professor: Wenn du auf die natürliche Evolutionstheorie verweist, ja, natürlich tue ich.

Student: Haben Sie schon einmal eine Evolution mit eigenen Augen beobachtet?

(Der Professor schüttelte den Kopf mit einem Lächeln. Er begann zu erkennen wohin das führte.)

Student: Da niemand jemals den Prozess der Evolution beachtet hat, kann niemand es beweisen das dieser Prozess ein laufendes Bestreben ist. Lehren Sie nicht Ihre Meinung, Sir? Sind Sie deswegen nicht ein Wissenschaftler, sondern ein Prediger?

(Die Klasse war in Aufruhr.)

Stundet: Gibt es jemanden in der Klasse der jemals Herrn Professors Gehirn gesehen hat?

(Die Klasse brach in Gelächter aus.)

Student:  Gibt es hier jemanden, der schon einmal Herrn Professors Gehirn gehört hat,  gefühlt hat,  es berührt oder es gerochen hat? Niemand scheint das getan zu haben. Das bedeutet nach den gängigen Regeln der empirischen, stabilen, nachweisbaren Protokollen sagt die Wissenschaft, das sie kein Gehirn haben, Sir.  Bei allem Respekt Sir, wie können wir dann auf Ihre Vorträge vertrauen, Sir?

( Der Raum war still. Der Professor starrte auf den Studenten, sein Gesichtsausdruck war unergründlich.)

Professor: Ich denke, du musst daran Glauben, Junge.

Student: Das ist es, Sir...  Genau !  Die Verbindung zwischen Mensch und GOTT  ist  der GLAUBE.

Das ist alles, was Dinge lebendig und in Bewegung hält.
