En la parábola de las ovejas y las cabras, Jesús no habló de la predicación. Entonces, ¿cómo sabemos que dicha parábola destaca la importancia de predicar? En primer lugar, recordemos que Jesús estaba utilizando una ilustración, o ejemplo. No estaba hablando de separar literalmente a ovejas y a cabras. Tampoco quiso decir que quienes son declarados ovejas tienen que alimentar, vestir, cuidar o visitar en la prisión a los hermanos de Cristo. Jesús los llamó “justos” porque reconocen que todavía hay un grupo de ungidos en la Tierra y les dan todo su apoyo en los últimos días. Las ovejas proclaman con entusiasmo el Reino junto con los ungidos (Mat. 10:40-42; 25:40, 46; 2 Tim. 3:1-5). w15 15/3 4:6, 8, 9

In the illustration of the sheep and the goats, Jesus does not directly mention the preaching work. Why, then, can it be said that it emphasizes the importance of preaching? Note that Jesus is teaching by means of an illustration. Obviously, he is not talking about separating literal sheep from literal goats. Likewise, he is not saying that each individual judged to be a sheep must literally feed, clothe, nurse, or visit one of his brothers in prison. Rather, he is illustrating the attitude that the figurative sheep display toward his brothers. He describes the sheep as “righteous” because they recognize that Christ has a group of anointed brothers still on earth, and the sheep loyally support the anointed during these critical last days. With them, the sheep zealously proclaim the good news of the Kingdom.—Matt. 10:40-42; 25:40, 46; 2 Tim. 3:1-5. w15 3/15 4:6, 8, 9

Skylights is a timelapse video made up of nearly 6,000 photos taken over the last few months in New Mexico, USA. Every frame in this video is a photograph.
Making this video was probably one of the most fun and most rewarding projects I've ever done. I greatly enjoyed traveling to remote parts of the state and it was an absolute thrill staying up all night shooting the stars. It's hard to describe how very still, quiet and beautiful the night sky is when you are so far away from the city. Most nights we all go to sleep and miss a spectacular show overhead, I hope I can capture just a hint of what may have been missed.
Many shots were taken at the VLA ( Very Large Array) in New Mexico; The location for several scenes from the movie "Contact". The VLA is a perfect location for capturing the night sky because of its lack of light pollution. In areas this dark, the Milky Way is visible to the naked eye and almost looks like a string of clouds.

The second to last shot records the sunset moments after the total eclipse of May 20th, 2012. It was pretty exciting to capture it on camera!

Nikon D300s, D7000 and D5100
Tokina 11-16mm and Nikkor 10.5mm Fisheye. The eclipsed sunset shot was captured with a Sigma 500mm.
I used the Stage Zero Dolly from Dynamic Perception for the motion controlled shots in this video.

Y desde 1950 han publicado la Traducción del Nuevo Mundo de las Santas Escrituras, completa o en parte, en más de ciento veinte idiomas. La edición revisada en inglés del 2013 de la Traducción del Nuevo Mundo es muy fácil de entender, por lo que se podrá traducir a más idiomas. For centuries, the clergy of Christendom discouraged and opposed the reading of the Bible, even being responsible for the death of some who translated it. During the 19th century, however, Bible societies made the Bible available, in whole or in part, in some 400 languages. By the end of that century, many people owned a Bible but lacked accurate knowledge of Scriptural teachings. The Bible Students knew that they had to preach, and they tirelessly explained what the Bible taught. In addition, Jehovah’s people have used and distributed various versions of the Bible. Since 1950, they have published the New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures, in whole or in part, in over 120 languages. The 2013 English edition of the New World Translation will make the rendering of it into other languages less challenging. In turn, using a clear, easy-to-read Bible helps us to carry out our preaching work. w15 2/15 4:3-5
