A wonderful special baptism, I am so happy for that sick Brother ❤
We have a similar sick young man in a wheel chair, but he can't speak... He is always by the meeting and can little follow the program. In the NW he will get healthy, since his birth ! He still has 4 siblings... Sometimes he is crying - or also laughing while our meeting... By singing and praying he is in the KD - Hall, the other time in the corridor, near another Brother ! He knows us all and is feeling well. For a baptism he is too sick, sorry :-( But he is often funny ;-)

Por qué celebramos la Cena del Señor

Aquella noche del año 33, Jesús usó pan sin levadura que había sobrado de la comida de la Pascua (Éx. 12:8). En la Biblia, la levadura a veces está relacionada con la corrupción o el pecado (Mat. 16:6, 11, 12; Luc. 12:1). Por eso, el pan sin levadura fue un símbolo muy apropiado para el cuerpo sin pecado de Jesús (Heb. 7:26). Este es el pan que se usa en la Conmemoración. El vino que usó Jesús representó su sangre, o su vida, igual que el vino que usamos hoy en la Conmemoración. En un lugar a las afueras de Jerusalén llamado el Gólgota, Jesús derramó su sangre “para perdón de pecados” (Mat. 26:28; 27:33). Si valoramos su sacrificio, nos prepararemos cada año para esta ocasión tan especial. w15 15/1 2:6-8

Why We Observe the Lord’s Evening Meal

On that highly important occasion in 33 C.E., Jesus used unleavened bread left over from the Passover meal. (Ex. 12:8) In the Scriptures, leaven at times denotes corruption or sin. (Matt. 16:6, 11, 12; Luke 12:1) Thus, Jesus’ use of unleavened bread was significant because it fittingly represented his sinless body. (Heb. 7:26) So bread of that kind is used at the Memorial. The wine that Jesus used on Nisan 14, 33 C.E., represented Jesus’ blood, as does the Memorial cup of wine today. At Golgotha, a place outside Jerusalem, his blood was poured out “for forgiveness of sins.” (Matt. 26:28; 27:33) Because the Memorial bread and wine symbolize Jesus’ priceless sacrifice offered in behalf of obedient mankind and we appreciate that loving provision, it is appropriate that we personally prepare for the annual observance of the Lord’s Evening Meal. w15 1/15 2:6-8

El que los sacerdotes tuvieran que estar limpios en sentido físico tiene mucha importancia para nosotros hoy (Lev. 8:6). Con frecuencia, a nuestros estudiantes de la Biblia les llama la atención lo limpios que están nuestros lugares de culto y lo bien arreglados que vamos nosotros. Además, la limpieza de los sacerdotes nos recuerda que cualquiera que sube “a la montaña de Jehová”, que se une a la adoración verdadera, tiene que hacerlo con un corazón limpio (Sal. 24:3, 4; Is. 2:2, 3). Jehová quiere que lo adoremos con un corazón, una mente y un cuerpo limpios. Así que debemos examinarnos con regularidad. Al hacerlo, tal vez descubramos que tenemos que hacer cambios drásticos (2 Cor. 13:5). Por ejemplo, un siervo de Jehová bautizado que deliberadamente ve pornografía haría bien en preguntarse: “¿Estoy demostrando ser santo?”, y pedir ayuda para dejar esa práctica sucia (Sant. 5:14). w14 15/11 2:3, 6

Un maestro está enseñando a una clase grande. El profesor está haciendo el mejor trabajo posible enseñando a los estudiantes todo lo que necesitan saber.
De repente, un estudiante indisciplinado en la parte de atrás de la clase se levanta, y grita a todos en la clase ...
¡Eres un mentiroso, maestro! No tienes derecho a enseñar esta clase en absoluto. ¡Sé más sobre el tema que usted, y puedo demostrarlo a cualquier estudiante que me escuche!
¿Qué hace el maestro? ¿Acaso el maestro acaba de llamar al director y hacer que el estudiante rebelde sea desalojado inmediatamente de la clase, y luego continuar, como si nada hubiera pasado? Piense en ello por un momento ..... Si el maestro eligió ese curso de acción, entonces los otros estudiantes nunca pueden saber con seguridad quién estaba en lo correcto, y quién era el mentiroso, y podrían convencerse de seguir al estudiante indisciplinado.
La profesora elige esta solución al problema ... El maestro le dice al estudiante indisciplinado: "Aceptar, te acercas y enseñas la clase durante una semana. Al final de la semana, será muy claro para todos Espectadores que dicen la verdad, y quién es el mentiroso .... quien tiene el derecho de enseñar esta clase, y que no tiene ese derecho.
Aquí está el punto de esta pequeña ilustración ......... Esto ilustra claramente exactamente lo que sucedió en el Jardín del Edén, entre la serpiente, Satanás, y Adán y Eva.
Los espectadores eran los miles de millones de siervos angélicos de Jehová Dios.
La semana mencionada para Satanás y sus demonios no ha terminado, pero hoy, solo queda un poco de tiempo.
Mientras tanto, ¿de qué lado eligen estar?
¿El maestro, o el estudiante indisciplinado?

Cuatro velas ardientes ...
En una habitación había cuatro velas encendidas. El ambiente era tan suave que se podía oír hablar.
El primero dijo: "Soy PAZ, sin embargo nadie puede mantenerme encendida. Creo que saldré.
Su llama disminuye rápidamente y se apaga completamente.
El segundo dice: "Yo soy FE. Sobre todo ya no soy indispensable, así que no tiene sentido que me quede encendida.
Cuando terminó de hablar una brisa sopló suavemente en ella poniéndola fuera.
Lamentablemente, la tercera vela habló a su vez. "Yo soy amor. No he conseguido la fuerza para permanecer encendida. La gente me pone a un lado y no entiende mi importancia. Incluso se olvidan de amar a los que están más cerca de ellos. "Y esperando ya no se apaga.
De pronto un niño entró en la habitación y vio tres velas que no ardían."¿Por qué no te quema? Se supone que debes permanecer encendida hasta el final".
Diciendo esto, el niño empezó a llorar. Entonces la cuarta vela dijo: "No tengas miedo, mientras yo todavía estoy ardiendo podemos volver a encender las otras velas,
Yo soy esperanza."
Con ojos brillantes, el niño tomó la vela de Esperanza y encendió las otras velas ... ;-)

Ultimately in the USA it will be up to the local elders to decide whether a beard is acceptable in their area or not. When the WT came out last May, our CO said that come end of the year, he expects many brothers (in the US) will be sporting a beard. I am fine with that, as long as as sisters don't start that trend too

The requirement that Israel’s priesthood be physically clean has real meaning for Jehovah’s people today. (Lev. 8:6) Those with whom we study the Bible often notice that our places of worship are clean and also how neat and well-dressed we are. Yet, the cleanness of the priesthood helps us to realize that anyone who ascends the elevated mountain of Jehovah’s worship must have “a pure heart.” (Ps. 24:3, 4; Isa. 2:2, 3) Our sacred service to God must be rendered with cleansed minds and hearts as well as with clean bodies. This calls for frequent self-examination, after which some may need to make significant changes so that they can be holy. Four Burning Candles... ( look also by illustrations...)
In a room there were four candles burning. The ambiance was so soft you could hear them talking.
The first one said, “I am PEACE, however nobody can keep me lit. I believe I will go out.”
It’s flame rapidly diminishes and goes out completely.
The second one says, “I am FAITH. Most of all I am no longer indispensable, so it does not make any sense that I stay lit any longer.”
When it finished talking a breeze softly blew on it putting it out.
Sadly, the third candle spoke in its turn. “I am LOVE. I have not gotten the strength to stay lit. People put me aside and don’t understand my importance. They even forget to love those who are nearest to them.” And waiting no longer it goes out.
Suddenly a child entered the room and saw three candles not burning.“Why are you not burning you are supposed to stay lit till the end.”
Saying this the child began to cry. Then the fourth candle said, “Don’t be afraid, while I am still burning we can re-light the other candles,
I am HOPE.”
With shining eyes, the child took the candle of Hope and lit the other candles ;o)

A TEACHER is teaching a large class. The teacher is doing the very best job possible in teaching the students all they need to know.
Suddenly, an unruly student in the back of the class stands up, and shouts to everyone in the class......
You are a liar, teacher! You have no right to be teaching this class at all. I know more about the subject than you do, and I can prove it to any fellow student who will listen to me!
What does the teacher do? Does the teacher just call the Principal and have the unruly student evicted immediately from the class, and then continue on, as if nothing had happened? Think about it for a moment.....If the teacher chose that course of action, then the other students may never know for sure who was correct, and who was the liar, and could be convinced to follow the unruly student.
The teach chooses this solution to the problem....The teacher says to the unruly student: "OK, you come forward, and you teach the class for one week. At the end of the week, it will become quite clear to all onlookers who tells the truth, and who is the liar.... who has the right to teach this class, and who does not have that right.
Here's the point of this little illustration..... This clearly illustrates exactly what happened in the Garden of Eden, between the serpant, Satan, and Adam and Eve.
The onlookers were the billions of angelic servants of Jehovah God.
The week mentioned for Satan and his demons is not quite over, but today, just a little time is left.
In the meantime, whose side do you choose to be on ?
