Es ist wichtig, zu schätzen, wie Jehova seine Herde hüten lässt. Jehova hat für Älteste gesorgt, denen unser Wohl immer am Herzen liegt. Sie sind „wie ein Bergungsort vor dem Wind und ein Versteck vor dem Regensturm . . ., wie Wasserbäche in einem wasserlosen Land, wie der Schatten eines wuchtigen zerklüfteten Felsens in einem erschöpften Land“ (Jes. 32:1, 2). Schätzen wir nicht alle bei Sturm und Regen eine geschützte Stelle oder bei brennender Sonne einen schattigen Platz? Wie diese Vergleiche nahelegen, bieten Älteste nötige geistige Hilfe und Ermunterung. Sie übernehmen die Führung unter uns. Warum gehorchen wir ihnen? Weil wir diese „Gaben in Form von Menschen“ schätzen und Gott und Christus, das Haupt der Versammlung, lieben (Eph. 4:8; 5:23; Heb. 13:17). w14 15. 6. 1:19

Είναι σημαντικό να δείχνουμε ότι εκτιμάμε τη διευθέτηση του Θεού για την ποίμανση του ποιμνίου του. Οι Χριστιανοί πρεσβύτεροι είναι προμήθεια του Ιεχωβά, ο οποίος ενεργεί πάντα για το καλό μας. Οι πρεσβύτεροι είναι «σαν καταφύγιο από τον άνεμο και κρυψώνα από την καταιγίδα, σαν ρεύματα νερού σε άνυδρη χώρα, σαν τη σκιά μεγάλου βράχου σε εξαντλημένη γη». (Ησ. 32:1, 2) Πόσο ωραία νιώθουμε όταν βρίσκουμε προστασία από τον ισχυρό άνεμο ή την παγερή καταιγίδα! Και όταν μας χτυπάει ο καυτός ήλιος, είμαστε ευγνώμονες για τη σκιά κάποιου βράχου. Αυτά τα σχήματα λόγου μάς βοηθούν να καταλάβουμε ότι οι πρεσβύτεροι παρέχουν την πνευματική βοήθεια και αναζωογόνηση που χρειαζόμαστε. Υπακούοντας σε εκείνους που αναλαμβάνουν την ηγεσία μεταξύ μας, δείχνουμε πόσο εκτιμούμε αυτά τα «δώρα σε μορφή ανθρώπων» και αποδεικνύουμε την αγάπη μας για τον Θεό και τον Χριστό, την Κεφαλή της εκκλησίας.—Εφεσ. 4:8· 5:23· Εβρ. 13:17. w14 15/6 1:19

It is important that we show appreciation for God’s arrangement for shepherding his flock. Christian elders are a provision from Jehovah, who always acts in our best interests. The elders are “like a hiding place from the wind, a place of concealment from the rainstorm, like streams of water in a waterless land, like the shadow of a massive crag in a parched land.” (Isa. 32:1, 2) How we appreciate a shelter from a strong wind or from a chilling rainstorm! When the hot sun is beating down on us, we are grateful for the shade provided by a crag. These figures of speech help us to see that the elders provide needed spiritual help and refreshment. By obeying those taking the lead among us, we show how much we appreciate these “gifts in men” and give evidence of our love for God and for Christ, the Head of the congregation.—Eph. 4:8; 5:23; Heb. 13:17. w14 6/15 1:19

Heute unterstützt eine „große Volksmenge“, bestehend aus Jesu „anderen Schafen“, loyal die Gesalbten, das „Israel Gottes“ (Offb. 7:9, 10; Gal. 6:16). Gemeinsam mit der großen Volksmenge tragen sie den von Gott erhaltenen Namen „Jehovas Zeugen“. Während der Tausendjahrherrschaft Christi werden die Mitglieder der großen Volksmenge den Auferstandenen mit großer Freude erzählen, was sie als Zeugen Jehovas in den letzten Tagen des gegenwärtigen Systems der Dinge erlebt haben. Das wird uns aber nur dann möglich sein, wenn wir schon heute unserem Namen gemäß leben und uns bemühen, heilig zu bleiben. Trotz aller Mühe müssen wir Gott auch täglich um Vergebung für irgendeinen Mangel an Heiligkeit bitten. Wir sind uns unserer Sündhaftigkeit bewusst und betrachten es als eine unbeschreibliche Ehre, Gottes heiligen Namen zu tragen (1. Joh. 1:8, 9). w14 15. 7. 3:12, 13

(Αποκ. 7:9, 10· Γαλ. 6:16) Το μεγάλο πλήθος φέρει και αυτό πάνω του το θεόδοτο όνομα Μάρτυρες του Ιεχωβά. Στη διάρκεια της Χιλιετούς Βασιλείας του Χριστού, το μεγάλο πλήθος θα έχει την απερίγραπτη χαρά να εξηγήσει στους αναστημένους τι σήμαινε να είναι κάποιος Μάρτυρας του Ιεχωβά στις τελευταίες ημέρες αυτού του συστήματος πραγμάτων. Recently, Jesus had comforted his followers, saying: “Have no fear, little flock, because your Father has approved of giving you the kingdom.” This little flock, which eventually numbers 144,000, comes into this new, or second, sheepfold. But Jesus goes on to observe: “I have other sheep, which are not of this fold; those also I must bring, and they will listen to my voice, and they will become one flock, one shepherd.”
Since the “other sheep” are “not of this fold,” they must be of another fold, a third one. These last two folds, or pens of sheep, have different destinies. The “little flock” in one fold will rule with Christ in heaven, and the “other sheep” in the other fold will live on the Paradise earth. Yet, despite being in two folds, the sheep have no jealousy, nor do they feel segregated, for as Jesus says, they “become one flock” under “one shepherd.”I hope, its helping you ? OTHERWISE MAKE IT TO A QUESTION IN THAT AREA..... we have so clever Bible - members ;o)

Today, “a great crowd” of Jesus’ “other sheep” give their loyal support to anointed Christians, who make up “the Israel of God.” (Rev. 7:9, 10; Gal. 6:16) The great crowd also share the God-given name Jehovah’s Witnesses. During the Thousand Year Reign of Christ, the great crowd will have the unspeakable joy of explaining to resurrected ones what it was like to be one of Jehovah’s Witnesses during the last days of this system of things. But our doing this will be possible only if we prove true to our name now and strive to remain holy. Also, no matter how hard we try, we must daily ask forgiveness for any lack of holiness, recognizing that we are sinners and that being allowed to bear God’s holy name is an indescribably great honor.—1 John 1:8, 9. w14 7/15 3:12, 13

The "prison ministry" was always one of the most refreshing while I was pioneering. It is so different from most other types, yet you see the differences in people's lives. We worked with two major prisons. One was a high security prison and one was a minimum security prison. The high-security was a bit more scary because they let you in and they slammed the gate shut behind you. We had a Prison ID card where we also signed a waiver accepting risk in case we were caught up in violence. But the changes in people's lives was so evident from study to study -- and their questions are often deeper than the average householder. There is also a "competition" with other prison outreach ministries from other religions and a lot more questions about the Muslim religion. We often got questions we had to look up and get back the next week to answer.
The minimum security prisons are quite different. The prisoners could literally escape and walk off the premises if they wanted to. (But they'd still have to serve their time all over again if caught.) We had a choice between using an "interfaith" building that was shared by other religions, but we often took over the interest of the other religious groups because we had interesting and lively discussions while some of the other groups often did no more than pray with them, sometimes silently. At first I wouldn't use the interfaith building, but the only other choice was the crowded visitors' room where the women/wives/girlfriends would visit other men in the room and try to get away with all kinds of activities that distracted greatly from the Bible study.

Jehovah God really was with Joshua wherever he went. For instance, consider what happened as the Israelites were encamped near the Canaanite city of Jericho. In 1473 B.C.E., Joshua sent two men to spy out Jericho, and there they met the prostitute Rahab. She hid them on the roof of her house, concealing them from potential captors sent out by Jericho’s king. Rahab told the Israelite spies: “I do know that Jehovah will give you the land . . . , for we heard how Jehovah dried up the waters of the Red Sea before you . . . and what you did to the two kings of the Amorites.” She added: “Jehovah your God is God in the heavens above and on the earth beneath.” (Josh. 2:9-11) Because Rahab aligned herself with Jehovah’s organization of that time, God saw to it that she and her household were spared when the Israelites conquered Jericho. (Josh. 6:25) Rahab exercised faith, had reverence for Jehovah, and showed respect for his people. w14 5/15 3:8, 9
