Jehova war wirklich mit Josua, wohin dieser auch ging. Betrachten wir zum Beispiel, was geschah, als die Israeliten 1473 v. u. Z. nahe der Kanaaniterstadt Jericho lagerten. Josua sandte zwei Kundschafter in die Stadt. Dort kamen sie zu Rahab, einer Prostituierten. Sie verbarg die beiden Männer auf dem Dach ihres Hauses, weil der König von Jericho nach ihnen suchen ließ. Rahab sagte zu ihnen: „Ich weiß wohl, dass Jehova euch das Land bestimmt geben wird. . . . Denn wir haben gehört, wie Jehova die Wasser des Roten Meeres vor euch her austrocknete . . . und was ihr den beiden Königen der Amoriter angetan habt.“ Sie fügte noch hinzu: „Jehova, euer Gott, ist Gott droben in den Himmeln und unten auf der Erde“ (Jos. 2:9-11). Weil sich Rahab auf die Seite der damaligen Organisation Gottes stellte, sorgte Jehova dafür, dass sie und ihre Familie am Leben blieben, als die Israeliten Jericho einnahmen (Jos. 6:25). Rahab übte Glauben aus, hatte Ehrfurcht vor Jehova und Respekt vor seinem Volk. w14 15. 5. 3:8, 9

(Έξοδ. 10:28) Προτού αποχωρήσει, ο Μωυσής προφήτευσε ότι ο πρωτότοκος γιος του βασιλιά θα πέθαινε. (Έξοδ. 11:4-8) Έπειτα, είπε σε κάθε οικογένεια Ισραηλιτών να σφάξουν ένα κατσίκι ή ένα κριάρι—το ιερό ζώο του αιγυπτιακού θεού Ρα—και να τινάξουν το αίμα του στους παραστάτες και στο ανώφλι της πόρτας τους. Pharao war ein furchterregender Herrscher. Die Ägypter sahen ihn als lebenden Gott an. Wie muss sich Moses gefühlt haben, als Jehova zu ihm sagte: „Lass mich dich zu Pharao senden, und führe du mein Volk, die Söhne Israels, aus Ägypten hinaus“ (2. Mo. 3:10). Moses ging nach Ägypten, verkündigte Gottes Botschaft und erregte Pharaos Zorn. Nach der neunten Plage über Ägypten warnte Pharao Moses: „Versuch nicht, mein Angesicht wiederzusehen, denn an dem Tag, an dem du mein Angesicht siehst, wirst du sterben“ (2. Mo. 10:28). Bevor Moses wegging, kündigte er dem König an, dass dessen Erstgeborener sterben werde (2. Mo. 11:4-8). Danach wies Moses alle israelitischen Familien an, einen Ziegenbock oder einen Widder (ein dem ägyptischen Gott Ra heiliges Tier) zu schlachten und mit dem Blut ihren Hauseingang zu bespritzen (2. Mo. 12:5-7). Wie würde Pharao reagieren? Moses hatte keine Angst. Warum nicht? Das beantwortet der heutige Tagestext. w14 15. 4. 2:1, 2

Pharaoh was a formidable ruler and a living god to the Egyptians. Imagine, then, how Moses felt when Jehovah told him: “I will send you to Pharaoh, and you will bring my people the Israelites out of Egypt.” (Ex. 3:10) Moses went to Egypt, proclaimed God’s message, and incurred Pharaoh’s wrath. After nine plagues struck the land, Pharaoh warned Moses: “Make sure that you do not try to see my face again, for on the day you see my face, you will die.” (Ex. 10:28) Before Moses left Pharaoh’s presence, he prophesied that the king’s firstborn son would die. (Ex. 11:4-8) Finally, Moses instructed every Israelite family to slaughter a goat or a ram—an animal sacred to the Egyptian god Ra—and to splash its blood on their doorways. On the preceding page in par.16 there is this explanation of the legal principle life given for life that is portrayed in the picture: "Because he was a perfect man, even as Adam had been, Jesus is called "the last Adam." (1 Corinthians 15:45) No human other than Jesus could have provided the ransom. This is because Jesus is the only man who ever lived that was equal to Adam as a perfect human son of God.-Psalm 49:7; Luke 1:32; 3:38."

I  know  the  pic  with  the  scales....  Jesus  was  the  best  choice  for  Jehovah,  bec.  he  knew,  Jesus  would  be  loyal  until  to  the  last  sec.❤  Gnite  from  Germany  ;o)

NO,  I  believe,  Jesus  was  more  perfect,  yes !  He  was  countless  years  the  work-master  of  his  father  Jehovah  GOD !  He  was  very  similar  like  God  -  When  we  see  Jesus,  we  can  'see'  Jehovah,  he  said.  Jehovah  created  Jesus  first  -  yes,  Jesus  is  of  sure  more  perfect  as  the  human  Adam  was !

I  believe,  Prince  was  a  JW,   but  I  can't  believe  he  was  an  elder,  NO...  Elders  need  alot  time  for  theocratic  work,  beside  their  full-time  jobs !

Schon immer haben sich Jehovas Diener sehr über seinen Segen gefreut. Als die Israeliten am Roten Meer von Pharao und seinem Heer befreit wurden, brachten sie ihre Freude in bewegenden Lob- und Dankliedern zum Ausdruck (2. Mo. 15:1-21). Heute zählt die sichere Hoffnung, von Schmerz und Leid befreit zu werden, zu den wertvollsten Segnungen, die wir haben (Ps. 37:9-11; Jes. 25:8; 33:24). Stellen wir uns vor, wie wir empfinden werden, wenn Jehova alle seine Feinde vernichtet und uns in einer friedlichen und gerechten neuen Welt willkommen heißt. Was für ein Tag der Danksagung das doch sein wird! (Offb. 20:1-3; 21:3, 4). Was auch immer bis dahin noch geschehen mag: Wir wissen, dass uns Jehova nie im Stich lassen wird (5. Mo. 31:8; Ps. 9:9, 10). Er wird uns weiterhin mit dem versorgen, was wir brauchen, um ihm treu zu bleiben. Ja, wir wollen voller Freude darüber nachdenken, wie Jehova uns segnet, und der Aufforderung des heutigen Tagestextes nachkommen. w15 15. 1. 1:14, 15

Throughout history, Jehovah’s people have rejoiced in their blessings. For example, after being delivered from Pharaoh and his armies at the Red Sea, the Israelites expressed their joy in songs of praise and thanksgiving. (Ex. 15:1-21) Today, among our most treasured blessings is our sure hope of deliverance from everything that causes us pain and distress. (Ps. 37:9-11; Isa. 25:8; 33:24) Imagine how we will feel when Jehovah crushes all his enemies and welcomes us into a new world of peace and righteousness. What a day for thanksgiving that will be! (Rev. 20:1-3; 21:3, 4) Whatever may come upon us in the meantime, we know that Jehovah will never abandon us. (Deut. 31:8; Ps. 9:9, 10) He will continue to provide everything we need to serve him faithfully. Therefore, may we reflect joyfully on our blessings and be moved to follow the admonition of today’s text. w15 1/15 1:14, 15
