Ponieważ na długo przed tym, zanim potomkowie Abrahama odziedziczyli Ziemię Obiecaną, Melchizedek, król Salem, usługiwał jako „kapłan Boga Najwyższego” (Hebr. 7:1-3). Na to stanowisko został powołany bezpośrednio przez Jehowę. Pisma Hebrajskie wspominają, że tylko Melchizedek występował zarówno w roli króla, jak i kapłana. A ponieważ nie istnieją żadne informacje o jego kapłańskich poprzednikach ani następcach, można powiedzieć, że jest on „kapłanem na zawsze”. You are a priest forever in the manner of Melchizedek!—Ps. 110:4. Why would Jesus be a priest “in the manner of Melchizedek”? Because long before any descendants of Abraham inherited the Promised Land, Melchizedek, the king of Salem, served as “priest of the Most High God.” (Heb. 7:1-3) He was directly appointed by Jehovah to do so. He is the only one mentioned in the Hebrew Scriptures who served as both a king and a priest. Moreover, since he was without a recorded predecessor or successor, he can be called “a priest for all time,” or forever. Jesus is directly appointed to be a priest by means of a personal covenant that Jehovah made with him, and he will remain “a priest forever in the manner of Melchizedek.” (Heb. 5:4-6) This clearly shows that Jehovah has legally bound himself to use the Messianic Kingdom to accomplish his original purpose concerning humans on earth.—Gen. 1:28. w14 10/15 1:16, 17

Erscheint doch die Aussicht auf viele Drangsale eher bedrückend als ermunternd. Wie konnten dann Paulus und Barnabas die Jünger stärken, als sie sie auf weitere Drangsale hinwiesen? Bei näherem Hinsehen finden wir eine Antwort. Paulus sagte nicht: „Wir müssen viele Drangsale erleiden“, sondern: „Wir müssen durch viele Drangsale in das Königreich Gottes eingehen.“ Paulus stärkte die Jünger, indem er auf den positiven Ausgang eines Lebens in Treue verwies. Die Belohnung war nicht nur ein Traum. Jesus hatte gesagt: „Wer . . . bis zum Ende ausgeharrt haben wird, der wird gerettet werden“ (Mat. 10:22). Standhaftigkeit wird belohnt. Doch wie Paulus bemerkte, werden bis dahin viele Drangsale auf uns zukommen. w14 15. 9. 2:4-6

Επομένως, ο Παύλος ενίσχυσε τους μαθητές τονίζοντας την αίσια έκβαση που θα είχε η πιστή τους πορεία. Αυτή η ανταμοιβή δεν ήταν απλώς ευσεβής πόθος. Πράγματι, ο Ιησούς δήλωσε: «Εκείνος που θα έχει υπομείνει ως το τέλος, αυτός θα σωθεί». (Ματθ. 10:22) Αν υπομείνουμε, θα ανταμειφθούμε. Όπως επισήμανε όμως ο Παύλος, μέχρι τότε θα περάσουμε πολλές θλίψεις. w14 15/9 2:4-6

After all, the prospect of going through “many tribulations” would seem distressing, not encouraging. How is it, then, that Paul and Barnabas “strengthened the disciples” with a message that pointed to more tribulation? We can find the answer if we look carefully at Paul’s words. He did not simply say: “We must endure many tribulations.” Rather, he said: “We must enter into the Kingdom of God through many tribulations.” So Paul strengthened the disciples by emphasizing the positive result of a faithful course. That reward was no mere illusion. Indeed, Jesus stated: “The one who has endured to the end will be saved.” (Matt. 10:22) If we endure, we will have a reward. As Paul noted, though, we will face many tribulations in the meantime. w14 9/15 2:4-6

Bec. the blood - bracelets I'm not thinking to my *outfit*, no ! I think to my rescue without blood... in my need / distress, that has priority for me, Sarah. I not believe, Doc's or other persons looking to my handy, when they are busy with my body for helping... but they of sure see my blood - text bracelet ;o) I hope, will never come in this situation.

Durch dieses Wunder am Pfingsttag zeigte Gott, dass er von da an nicht mehr das abtrünnige Israel unterstützte, sondern das „Israel Gottes“, das aus Männern und Frauen besteht (Gal. 3:28; 6:15, 16). Zu den Christinnen, die im ersten Jahrhundert predigten, gehörten auch die vier Töchter des Evangeliumsverkündigers Philippus (Apg. 21:8, 9). w14 15. 8. 1:16, 17

A phone is often in our bag / pocket.... and no one is seeing ;-( thats bad..... You can buy it by ebay ! its very cheap... ;o) THINK ABOUT THAT IN REST !

Maybe our Librarian knows that.... I love wearing my red bracelet with our blood-text, bec. everybody is seeing that ! The smart - phone is often in our bag, but the bracelet at my arm is always seeing for all, thats alot better ! Think about that, Rick ;o)
