Erweisen sich auch treue Gesalbte als vorbereitet? Auf jeden Fall! Gesalbte Christen haben in den letzten Tagen genauso wie die verständigen Jungfrauen gehandelt. Auch sie sind darauf vorbereitet, ihre Aufgabe bis zum Ende treu auszuführen. Ihnen ist von Anfang an klar, dass sie damit auf viele materielle Vorteile in Satans Welt verzichten. Sie stellen Jehova an die erste Stelle und dienen ihm nicht einfach nur deshalb, weil das Ende nahe ist, sondern aus Liebe und Treue zu ihm und seinem Sohn. Sie bleiben treu, indem sie dem Geist der Welt widerstehen und Materialismus, Unmoral und eine selbstsüchtige Einstellung zurückweisen. So bleiben sie bereit und lassen sich als Lichtspender nicht durch eine scheinbare Verspätung des Bräutigams entmutigen (Phil. 2:15). w15 15. 3. 2:4, 7, 8

Έχουν αποδειχτεί παρόμοια προετοιμασμένοι και οι πιστοί χρισμένοι; Ασφαλώς! Σε όλη τη διάρκεια των τελευταίων ημερών, οι χρισμένοι Χριστιανοί έχουν ενεργήσει όπως εκείνες οι φρόνιμες παρθένες—έχουν προετοιμαστεί ώστε να επιτελέσουν το διορισμό τους πιστά μέχρι το τέλος. Έχουν υπολογίσει τη δαπάνη που συνεπάγεται η πιστή υπηρεσία, κατανοώντας ευθύς εξαρχής ότι ο διορισμός τους σημαίνει πως πρέπει να εγκαταλείψουν πολλά από τα υλικά οφέλη που προσφέρει ο κόσμος του Σατανά. Αφοσιώνονται ολοκληρωτικά στον Ιεχωβά και τον υπηρετούν, όχι επειδή έχουν υπόψη τους κάποια ημερομηνία ή διορία, αλλά από αγάπη και οσιότητα για εκείνον και τον Γιο του. Διακρατούν την ακεραιότητά τους, αρνούμενοι να υιοθετήσουν το πνεύμα αυτού του πονηρού κόσμου και τις υλιστικές, ανήθικες και ιδιοτελείς τάσεις του. Ως αποτέλεσμα, παραμένουν έτοιμοι λάμποντας σταθερά ως φωτοδότες, απτόητοι από οποιαδήποτε φαινομενική καθυστέρηση στην έλευση του Γαμπρού.—Φιλιπ. 2:15. w15 15/3 2:4, 7, 8

Have faithful anointed ones likewise proved to be prepared? They have indeed! Throughout the last days, anointed Christians have acted like those discreet virgins, prepared to carry out their assignment faithfully until the end. They count the cost of faithful service, realizing from the outset that their assignment will mean giving up many of the material advantages available in Satan’s world. They devote themselves exclusively to Jehovah and serve him, not with some date or deadline in mind, but out of love and loyalty to him and to his Son. They maintain their integrity, refusing to adopt the spirit of this wicked world and its materialistic, immoral, and selfish attitudes. Jesu mitfühlendes Herz drängte ihn dazu, mit anderen mitfühlend zu reden, besonders mit solchen, die unterdrückt wurden. Durch die Art und Weise, wie Jesus redete, gab er denen neuen Mut, die sozusagen wie ein geknicktes Rohr waren oder wie der Docht einer Öllampe, der kurz vor dem Erlöschen ist. Er predigte eine Botschaft der Hoffnung, „um die zu verbinden, die gebrochenen Herzens sind“ (Jes. 61:1). Jesus sagte: „Kommt zu mir alle, die ihr euch abmüht und die ihr beladen seid“, denn „ihr werdet Erquickung finden“ (Mat. 11:28-30). Er sicherte seinen Nachfolgern zu, dass Gott sich liebevoll um jeden seiner Anbeter kümmert, auch um die „Kleinen“ — diejenigen, die in den Augen der Welt vielleicht unwichtig erscheinen (Mat. 18:12-14; Luk. 12:6, 7). Wie können wir wie Jesus anderen unsere Zuneigung zeigen? Solche Gefühle sind bei uns vielleicht nicht automatisch vorhanden, aber die Bibel drängt uns, daran zu arbeiten. Aus inniger Zuneigung fühlen wir uns bewogen, das Leben anderer positiv zu beeinflussen — vor allem das Leben derer, die wie ein geknicktes Schilfrohr oder wie ein glimmender Docht sind. w15 15. 2. 1:13-15
