Ein Sklave ist nicht größer als sein Herr. Wenn sie mich verfolgt haben, werden sie auch euch verfolgen (Joh. 15:20) Paulus wurde immer wieder wegen seines Glaubens verfolgt (2. Kor. 11:23-27). Zum Beispiel kam es in Lystra zu einem Zwischenfall. Paulus und sein Reisegefährte Barnabas heilten einen von Geburt an Gelähmten und wurden deshalb als Götter bejubelt. Sie versuchten, die begeisterte Menge davon abzuhalten, sie anzubeten. Bald erschienen aber jüdische Gegner und verleumdeten Paulus und Barnabas. Plötzlich wendete sich das Blatt! Paulus wurde mit Steinen beworfen und liegen gelassen, weil man ihn für tot hielt (Apg. 14:8-19). Nachdem Paulus und Barnabas in Derbe gewesen waren, kehrten sie wieder „nach Lystra und nach Ikonion und nach Antiochia zurück, stärkten die Seelen der Jünger, indem sie sie ermunterten, im Glauben zu bleiben, und sagten: ‚Wir müssen durch viele Drangsale in das Königreich Gottes eingehen‘ “ (Apg. 14:21, 22). w14 15. 9. 2:2-4

(2 Κορ. 11:23-27) Ένα τέτοιο περιστατικό συνέβη στα Λύστρα. Αφού αυτός και ο σύντροφός του ο Βαρνάβας γιάτρεψαν κάποιον εκ γενετής κουτσό, το εκστατικό πλήθος άρχισε να τους επευφημεί ως θεούς. Οι δύο Χριστιανοί χρειάστηκε να ικετεύσουν εκείνους τους ανθρώπους να μην τους λατρέψουν! Πολύ σύντομα όμως, κατέφθασαν Ιουδαίοι εναντιούμενοι και δηλητηρίασαν τη διάνοια των ανθρώπων με συκοφαντίες. Αμέσως το κλίμα αντιστράφηκε! Το πλήθος λιθοβόλησε τον Παύλο και τον άφησε νομίζοντας ότι ήταν νεκρός. (Πράξ. 14:8-19) Αφού επισκέφτηκαν τη Δέρβη, ο Παύλος και ο Βαρνάβας «επέστρεψαν στα Λύστρα και στο Ικόνιο και στην Αντιόχεια, ενισχύοντας τις ψυχές των μαθητών, ενθαρρύνοντάς τους να παραμείνουν στην πίστη και λέγοντας: “Πρέπει να μπούμε στη βασιλεία του Θεού διαμέσου πολλών θλίψεων”».—Πράξ. 14:21, 22. w14 15/9 2:2-4

A slave is not greater than his master. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you.—John 15:20. More than once, Paul was persecuted because of his faith. (2 Cor. 11:23-27) One such incident occurred in Lystra. After healing a man who was lame from birth, Paul and his companion Barnabas were hailed as gods. The two had to beg the ecstatic crowd not to worship them! All too soon, however, Jewish opposers arrived, and they used slander to poison the minds of the people. Quickly the tide turned! The people now pelted Paul with stones and left him for dead. (Acts 14:8-19) After visiting Derbe, Paul and Barnabas “returned to Lystra, Iconium, and Antioch. There they strengthened the disciples, encouraging them to remain in the faith and saying: ‘We must enter into the Kingdom of God through many tribulations.’”—Acts 14:21, 22. w14 9/15 2:2-4

Abigail war gut hinsichtlich Verständigkeit und schön von Gestalt (1. Sam. 25:3) Im 11. Jahrhundert v. u. Z. lebte eine bemerkenswerte Frau: Abigail. Sie war klug, ihr Mann Nabal dagegen war ein grober Mensch, ein Nichtsnutz ohne Verstand. David und seine Männer beschützten eine Zeit lang das Eigentum Nabals. Aber als sie ihn um Verpflegung baten, gab er ihnen nichts und beleidigte sie lautstark. Darüber war David dermaßen empört, dass er Nabal und dessen Männer töten wollte. Abigail hörte davon und brachte David und dessen Männern etwas zu essen und zu trinken. So verhinderte sie ein Blutbad (1. Sam. 25:8-18). David sagte zu ihr: „Gesegnet sei Jehova, der Gott Israels, der dich mir an diesem Tag entgegengesandt hat!“ (1. Sam. 25:32). 455 v. u. Z. wurden die Stadtmauern Jerusalems wieder aufgebaut. Mitgeholfen hatten dabei auch die Töchter von Schallum, Fürst eines Halbbezirks von Jerusalem (Neh. 3:12). Sie führten bereitwillig Hilfsarbeiten aus. Heute arbeiten viele Schwestern auf verschiedene Weise freudig bei theokratischen Bauprojekten mit. Dafür sind wir ihnen wirklich dankbar! w14 15. 8. 1:13, 14

Thank you for the details... I read a report before days and a letter was reading in the meeting. We all have to pray for our Brothers & Sisters there ! Then alot power will come to Jehovah for a fast success ! Lets hope, yes ❤

Was Jehova betrifft, seine Augen durchschweifen die ganze Erde, damit er sich stark erweist zugunsten derer, deren Herz ihm gegenüber ungeteilt ist (2. Chr. 16:9) Jehova zeigt großes Interesse an denen, die zu ihm gehören. Deshalb können wir völlig davon überzeugt sein: Es ist nie vergeblich, Jehova „aus reinem Herzen“ zu dienen (1. Tim. 1:5; 1. Kor. 15:58). Wir dürfen nicht vergessen: Jehova duldet keine Heuchelei. „Seine Augen durchschweifen die ganze Erde“ und er kann erkennen, wessen „Herz ihm gegenüber ungeteilt ist“. In Sprüche 3:32 heißt es: „Wer auf Abwegen geht, ist für Jehova etwas Verabscheuungswürdiges.“ Jehova ist es also zuwider, wenn jemand nach außen hin gehorsam ist, aber im Geheimen sündigt. So jemand mag andere eine Zeit lang geschickt hinters Licht führen, doch Jehovas Allmacht und Gerechtigkeit garantieren dafür, dass jemand, der „Übertretungen zudeckt, . . . kein Gelingen haben“ wird (Spr. 28:13; 1. Tim. 5:24; Heb. 4:13). w14 15. 7. 1:13, 14

Not just easy for us all.... but one is fact, we're all imperfect still in the next 1000 years ;-( I will better not judge about humans, bec. Jehovah is watching me... HE alone has to judge to HIS time, over us all ! HE is almighty just, we never can do that. But - thank you for the again detailed reminders !

The eyes of Jehovah are roving about through all the earth to show his strength in behalf of those whose heart is complete toward him.—2 Chron. 16:9. Jehovah is intensely interested in those who belong to him. Therefore, we can have absolute confidence that what we do for Jehovah “out of a clean heart” is never in vain. (1 Tim. 1:5; 1 Cor. 15:58) It is also sobering to know that Jehovah does not tolerate hypocritical worship. As his eyes “are roving about through all the earth,” he can detect those whose heart is not “complete toward him.” “Jehovah detests a devious person,” says Proverbs 3:32, such as one who deliberately puts up a front, feigning obedience while practicing sin in secret. Although a devious person may skillfully deceive other humans for a while, Jehovah’s almightiness and righteousness guarantee that “the one covering over his transgressions will not succeed.”—Prov. 28:13; 1 Tim. 5:24; Heb. 4:13. w14 7/15 1:13, 14
