Abigail war gut hinsichtlich Verständigkeit und schön von Gestalt (1. Sam. 25:3)

Im 11. Jahrhundert v. u. Z. lebte eine bemerkenswerte Frau: Abigail. Sie war klug, ihr Mann Nabal dagegen war ein grober Mensch, ein Nichtsnutz ohne Verstand. David und seine Männer beschützten eine Zeit lang das Eigentum Nabals. Aber als sie ihn um Verpflegung baten, gab er ihnen nichts und beleidigte sie lautstark. Darüber war David dermaßen empört, dass er Nabal und dessen Männer töten wollte. Abigail hörte davon und brachte David und dessen Männern etwas zu essen und zu trinken. So verhinderte sie ein Blutbad (1. Sam. 25:8-18). David sagte zu ihr: „Gesegnet sei Jehova, der Gott Israels, der dich mir an diesem Tag entgegengesandt hat!“ (1. Sam. 25:32). 455 v. u. Z. wurden die Stadtmauern Jerusalems wieder aufgebaut. Mitgeholfen hatten dabei auch die Töchter von Schallum, Fürst eines Halbbezirks von Jerusalem (Neh. 3:12). Sie führten bereitwillig Hilfsarbeiten aus. Heute arbeiten viele Schwestern auf verschiedene Weise freudig bei theokratischen Bauprojekten mit. Η Αβιγαία ήταν μια αξιόλογη γυναίκα που έζησε τον 11ο αιώνα Π.Κ.Χ. Τη διέκρινε η φρόνηση, ενώ ο σύζυγός της, ο Νάβαλ, ήταν σκληρός, άχρηστος και ασύνετος. Για ένα διάστημα, ο Δαβίδ και οι άντρες του προστάτεψαν την περιουσία του Νάβαλ, αλλά όταν ζήτησαν κάποιες προμήθειες, εκείνος «τους επέπληξε με φωνές» και δεν τους έδωσε τίποτα. (1 Σαμ. 25:8-18) Τότε ο Δαβίδ τής είπε: «Ευλογημένος να είναι ο Ιεχωβά, ο Θεός του Ισραήλ, ο οποίος σε έστειλε την ημέρα αυτή να με συναντήσεις!» (1 Σαμ. 25:32) Το 455 Π.Κ.Χ., ανάμεσα σε εκείνους που βοήθησαν στο έργο της ανοικοδόμησης των τειχών της Ιερουσαλήμ ήταν και οι κόρες του Σαλλούμ, ο οποίος ήταν άρχοντας της μισής περιφέρειας της Ιερουσαλήμ. (Νεεμ. 3:12) Έκαναν πρόθυμα ταπεινές εργασίες. Πόσο εκτιμούμε τις πολλές Χριστιανές γυναίκες που υποστηρίζουν χαρούμενα τα θεοκρατικά οικοδομικά προγράμματα σήμερα με διάφορους τρόπους! w14 15/8 1:13, 14

Abigail was a noteworthy woman who lived in the 11th century B.C.E. She had discernment, whereas her husband, Nabal, was harsh, worthless, and senseless. David and his men protected Nabal’s possessions for a time, but when they asked for provisions, he “screamed insults at them” and gave them nothing. This angered David so much that he planned to do away with Nabal and his men. Hearing about this, Abigail took food and drink to David and his men, thereby preventing bloodshed. (1 Sam. 25:8-18) David later said to her: “Praise Jehovah the God of Israel, who sent you this day to meet me!” (1 Sam. 25:32) In 455 B.C.E., among those who helped to repair the walls of Jerusalem were the daughters of Shallum, a prince of half the district of Jerusalem.) Thank you  for  the  details...   I  read  a  report  before  days  and  a  letter  was  reading  in  the  meeting.  We  all  have  to  pray  for  our  Brothers & Sisters  there !  Then  alot  power  will  come  to  Jehovah  for  a  fast  success !  Lets  hope,  yes ❤

Was Jehova betrifft, seine Augen durchschweifen die ganze Erde, damit er sich stark erweist zugunsten derer, deren Herz ihm gegenüber ungeteilt ist (2. Chr. 16:9)

Jehova zeigt großes Interesse an denen, die zu ihm gehören. Deshalb können wir völlig davon überzeugt sein: Es ist nie vergeblich, Jehova „aus reinem Herzen“ zu dienen (1. Tim. 1:5; 1. Kor. 15:58). Wir dürfen nicht vergessen: Jehova duldet keine Heuchelei. „Seine Augen durchschweifen die ganze Erde“ und er kann erkennen, wessen „Herz ihm gegenüber ungeteilt ist“. In Sprüche 3:32 heißt es: „Wer auf Abwegen geht, ist für Jehova etwas Verabscheuungswürdiges.“ Jehova ist es also zuwider, wenn jemand nach außen hin gehorsam ist, aber im Geheimen sündigt. So jemand mag andere eine Zeit lang geschickt hinters Licht führen, doch Jehovas Allmacht und Gerechtigkeit garantieren dafür, dass jemand, der „Übertretungen zudeckt, . . . kein Gelingen haben“ wird (Spr. 28:13; 1. Tim. 5:24; Heb. 4:13). w14 15. 7. 1:13, 14

(1 Τιμ. 1:5· 1 Κορ. 15:58) Παράλληλα, μας αφυπνίζει το γεγονός ότι ο Ιεχωβά δεν ανέχεται την υποκριτική λατρεία. Καθώς τα μάτια του «περιτρέχουν όλη τη γη», μπορεί να εντοπίζει εκείνους που δεν έχουν την καρδιά τους «πλήρη προς αυτόν». Not  just  easy  for  us  all....  but  one  is  fact,  we're  all  imperfect  still  in  the  next  1000  years  ;-(   I  will  better  not  judge  about  humans,  bec. Jehovah  is  watching  me...   HE  alone  has  to   judge  to  HIS  time,  over  us  all !  HE  is  almighty  just,  we  never  can  do  that.

The eyes of Jehovah are roving about through all the earth to show his strength in behalf of those whose heart is complete toward him.—2 Chron. 16:9.

Jehovah is intensely interested in those who belong to him. Therefore, we can have absolute confidence that what we do for Jehovah “out of a clean heart” is never in vain. (1 Tim. 1:5; 1 Cor. 15:58) It is also sobering to know that Jehovah does not tolerate hypocritical worship. As his eyes “are roving about through all the earth,” he can detect those whose heart is not “complete toward him.” “Jehovah detests a devious person,” says Proverbs 3:32, such as one who deliberately puts up a front, feigning obedience while practicing sin in secret. Although a devious person may skillfully deceive other humans for a while, Jehovah’s almightiness and righteousness guarantee that “the one covering over his transgressions will not succeed.”—Prov. 28:13; 1 Tim. 5:24; Heb. 4:13. w14 7/15 1:13, 14

Unser liebevoller Gott ist immer bereit, seinen treuen Dienern zu helfen. Deshalb fühlen wir uns in der „Kleinviehherde seiner Weide“ sicher (Ps. 79:13). Wie sehr uns Gott liebt, wird noch deutlicher werden, wenn wir erleben, was er durch das messianische Königreich für uns bewirken wird. Der von ihm eingesetzte König Jesus Christus wird die Erde von Gewalttat, Bedrückung und Schlechtigkeit befreien und gehorsame Menschen werden dann ewig in Frieden und Wohlstand leben (Ps. 72:7, 12-14, 16). Zurzeit hat Jehova uns das unschätzbare Vorrecht gewährt, seine Zeugen zu sein (Jes. 43:10-12). Dafür lieben wir ihn. Wir dürfen für seine Souveränität eintreten und Menschen in der heutigen unruhigen Welt voller Überzeugung von einer echten Hoffnung erzählen. Schließlich stützt sich die von uns verkündigte gute Botschaft auf das Wort des wahren Gottes, dessen Hoffnung erweckende Verheißungen immer eintreffen (Jos. 21:45; 23:14). w14 15. 6. 1:13, 14

Because we know that our loving God is always ready to help those who are faithful to him, we feel secure as part of ‘the flock of his pasture.’ (Ps. 79:13) Moreover, God’s love for us will be evident in what he will accomplish in our behalf through the Messianic Kingdom. After his chosen King, Jesus Christ, rids the earth of violence, oppression, and wickedness, obedient mankind will be blessed with lasting peace and prosperity. (Ps. 72:7, 12-14, 16) Right now, however, Jehovah has favored us with the priceless privilege of serving as his Witnesses. (Isa. 43:10-12) We love God for granting us this opportunity to support his sovereignty and to bring true hope to people in this troubled world. Slowly they are softening and his 87 year old grandmother watched the  "Why study the bible?” video and is coming with us to the meeting tonight !“  WOW ❤
