Τους ανέθεσε τα υπάρχοντά του.—Ματθ. 25:14. Η παραβολή για τα τάλαντα αναφέρει ότι ο κύριος έδωσε σε έναν δούλο πέντε τάλαντα, σε έναν άλλον δύο, και σε κάποιον τρίτο μόλις ένα. (Ματθ. 25:15) Αν και ο κάθε δούλος πήρε διαφορετικό αριθμό ταλάντων, ο κύριος ανέμενε από όλους τους να είναι επιμελείς όσον αφορά το πώς θα τα χρησιμοποιούσαν, δηλαδή να κάνουν το καλύτερο που μπορούσαν στη διακονία, σύμφωνα με την ικανότητά τους. (Ματθ. 22:37· Κολ. 3:23) Τον πρώτο αιώνα, ξεκινώντας από την Πεντηκοστή του 33 Κ.Χ., οι ακόλουθοι του Χριστού άρχισαν να κάνουν εμπόριο με τα τάλαντα. Το Γραφικό βιβλίο των Πράξεων αποδεικνύει περίτρανα την επιμέλειά τους στο έργο κηρύγματος και μαθήτευσης. (Πράξ. 6:7· 12:24· 19:20) Μετά το θάνατο των αποστόλων, ο Σατανάς υποκίνησε την αποστασία, η οποία άκμαζε επί πολλούς αιώνες. Εκείνη την περίοδο, δεν γίνονταν συστηματικές προσπάθειες ώστε να εκπληρωθεί η αποστολή για εξεύρεση γνήσιων μαθητών του Χριστού. Αλλά τα πράγματα θα άλλαζαν δραστικά κατά τη διάρκεια του “θερισμού”, δηλαδή στις τελευταίες ημέρες.—Ματθ. 13:24-30, 36-43. w15 15/3 3:4, 8

Ja Peter, ich würde diese Geschichte gern lesen. Mich interessiert das Mitmenschliche immer sehr ! Viele dieser theokratischen "Katastrophen" endeten ja zum Glück oftmals positiv. Aber die Jahre dazwischen sind sicher sehr bedrückend... Mehr per msg. Danke !

[He] entrusted his belongings to them.—Matt. 25:14. The parable of the talents reveals that the master gave to one slave five talents, to another two, and to still another just one. (Matt. 25:15) Although each slave received a different number, the master expected all of them to be diligent in using the talents, that is, in serving to the best of their ability in the ministry. (Matt. 22:37; Col. 3:23) In the first century, starting at Pentecost 33 C.E., Christ’s followers began doing business with the talents. Their diligence in the preaching and disciple-making work is well-documented in the Bible book of Acts. (Acts 6:7; 12:24; 19:20) After the death of the apostles, Satan fomented apostasy, which flourished for many centuries. During that time, there were no sustained efforts to fulfill the commission to make genuine disciples of Christ. But that would all change during “the harvest,” that is, the last days.—Matt. 13:24-30, 36-43. w15 3/15 3:4, 8

Er übergab ihnen seine Habe (Mat. 25:14) Wie das Gleichnis von den Talenten zeigt, gab der Herr dem einen Sklaven fünf Talente, einem anderen zwei, noch einem anderen eines (Mat. 25:15). Obwohl jeder Sklave unterschiedlich viele bekam, erwartete der Herr von allen, mit den Talenten fleißig zu arbeiten, im Predigtdienst also ihr Bestes zu geben (Mat. 22:37; Kol. 3:23). Zu Pfingsten 33 begannen Christi Nachfolger sozusagen mit den Talenten Geschäfte zu machen. Sie predigten fleißig und halfen Menschen, Jünger Jesu zu werden. Dies ist in der Apostelgeschichte gut belegt (Apg. 6:7; 12:24; 19:20). Nach dem Tod der Apostel schürte Satan die Abtrünnigkeit, die dann viele Jahrhunderte um sich griff. Während dieser Zeit gab es keine dauerhaften Bemühungen, Menschen zu helfen, echte Jünger Christi zu werden, was ja der Auftrag war. Aber das sollte sich in der Zeit der Ernte ändern, also in den letzten Tagen (Mat. 13:24-30, 36-43). w15 15. 3. 3:4, 8

Οι μαθητές του Ιησού γνώριζαν ότι δεν μπορούσαν να επιτελέσουν το έργο κηρύγματος με τη δική τους δύναμη. Ο Ιησούς είχε πει ότι θα ήταν μαζί τους και ότι το άγιο πνεύμα θα τους βοηθούσε. (Ματθ. 28:20) Από μερικές απόψεις, οι συνθήκες που επικρατούσαν στον τότε κόσμο ίσως ήταν ευνοϊκές για το κήρυγμα της Βασιλείας. Το βιβλίο Το Ευαγγελιστικό Έργο στην Πρώτη Εκκλησία (Evangelism in the Early Church) δηλώνει: «Προφανώς, καμιά περίοδος στην ιστορία του κόσμου δεν ήταν πιο κατάλληλη για την εμφάνιση της νεοσύστατης Εκκλησίας από ό,τι ο πρώτος αιώνας μ.Χ. . . . Το δεύτερο αιώνα, οι Χριστιανοί . . . είχαν αρχίσει να υποστηρίζουν ότι η θεία πρόνοια ήταν αυτή που προετοίμασε τον κόσμο για την έλευση της Χριστιανοσύνης». Η Αγία Γραφή δεν διευκρινίζει σε ποιο βαθμό κατηύθυνε ο Θεός τις εξελίξεις τον πρώτο αιώνα ώστε να μπορούν οι Χριστιανοί να επιτελέσουν το έργο κηρύγματος σε τέτοια έκταση. Ένα όμως είναι βέβαιο: Ο Ιεχωβά ήθελε να κηρυχτούν τα καλά νέα, ενώ ο Σατανάς όχι. w15 15/2 3:1, 5, 6
