Sr. Toñita (on the right) did not learn the truth until she was 60 years old, but she made up for lost time. Our sister served as a pioneer many years until her physical state no longer allowed. Paul prend l’exemple du corps humain pour souligner que tous les membres de la congrégation sont utiles. Contrairement à Satan, qui prive les humains de leur dignité, Jéhovah considère que tous ses serviteurs, y compris ceux qui semblent faibles, sont « nécessaires » (Job 4:18, 19). Cette pensée devrait rassurer chacun quant à son rôle dans sa congrégation et dans la congrégation mondiale de Dieu. Réfléchis, par exemple, à ceci : as-tu déjà offert le bras à une personne âgée ? Satanás tira dos humanos sua dignidade e quer nos fazer acreditar que Jeová não se importa conosco. (Jó 4:18, 19) Mas Jeová considera todos os seus servos, incluindo os que parecem mais fracos, como “necessários”. Saber isso ajuda cada um de nós a estar feliz com seu papel na congregação e por fazer parte do povo de Deus no mundo todo. Deshalb kann sich jeder an seinem Platz in der Versammlung und als Teil des weltweiten Volkes Gottes wohlfühlen. Haben wir schon einmal einer hilfsbedürftigen, älteren Person angeboten, sich bei uns einzuhaken? Sicher mussten wir dann langsamer gehen. Doch wir haben uns gefreut, weil wir helfen konnten. Ja, es bereitet Freude, auf die Bedürfnisse anderer einzugehen; man wird geduldiger, liebevoller und reifer (Eph. 4:15, 16). Unser lieber Vater weiß: In einer Versammlung, in der alle trotz ihrer Schwächen geschätzt werden, herrscht eine liebevolle Atmosphäre und es wird von niemand zu viel verlangt. w14 15. 6. 3:5

Paul’s illustration of the human body highlights that all members of the Christian congregation are useful. Unlike Satan, who strips humans of their dignity, Jehovah views all of his servants, including those who seem to be weaker, as “necessary.” (Job 4:18, 19) That thought should help each of us to feel good about our role in the local congregation and about being part of the congregation of God’s people earth wide. Think of a time, for example, when you held out your arm to an elderly person who was in need of help. You may have had to adjust your pace. Did not providing assistance serve a useful purpose as well as make you feel good? Yes, when we respond to the needs of others, we experience the joy of caring for them, and we grow in patience, love, and maturity. (Eph. 4:15, 16) Our loving Father knows that a congregation that values all members, regardless of their limitations, reflects balance and love. w14 6/15 3:5

Plutôt que d’argumenter au moyen d’autres versets, concentrons-nous sur un détail du même verset. On y lit que « la mort ne sera plus ». Demandons-lui si elle admet que, pour qu’une chose ne soit plus, ou n’existe plus, il lui a d’abord fallu exister. Elle sera probablement d’accord. Qual seria uma maneira de raciocinar com ele? Em vez de recorrer a outros textos, uma opção seria nos concentrar num detalhe mencionado no próprio versículo. Ele diz que “não haverá mais morte”. Poderíamos perguntar à pessoa: “Para que algo não exista mais, não concorda que precisa ter existido antes?” Provavelmente, ela concordará. Daí, poderíamos destacar que nunca houve morte no céu; é apenas aqui na Terra que as pessoas morrem. Was, wenn wir im Dienst jemand treffen, der glaubt, alle guten Menschen kämen in den Himmel. Diese Ansicht wirkt sich natürlich auf sein Bibelverständnis aus. Angenommen wir sprechen mit ihm über Offenbarung 21:4. Er könnte denken, das sei eine Beschreibung des Lebens im Himmel. Wie können wir dann vorgehen? Wir brauchen keine weiteren Bibelverse anzuführen, sondern konzentrieren uns auf eine Aussage im Bibeltext. Es heißt ja: „Der Tod wird nicht mehr sein.“ Wir könnten sagen, damit etwas nicht mehr ist, muss es schon da gewesen sein. Wahrscheinlich stimmt der Wohnungsinhaber dem zu. Weisen wir anschließend auf Folgendes hin: Im Himmel ist noch niemand gestorben, nur auf der Erde sterben Menschen. Załóżmy, że chcemy z nim rozważyć słowa z Objawienia 21:4. Człowiek ten mógłby uważać, że opisane tu błogosławieństwa odnoszą się do życia w niebie. Jak poprowadzić rozmowę? Zamiast używać dodatkowych dowodów z innych wersetów, moglibyśmy skupić się na szczególe zawartym w tym fragmencie. Czytamy tu, że „śmierci już nie będzie”. Zapytajmy rozmówcę, czy zgadza się z tym, że aby czegoś już nie było, wcześniej musiało to istnieć. Prawdopodobnie przyzna nam rację. Następnie moglibyśmy wskazać, że w niebie nigdy nie było śmierci; ludzie umierają tylko tu, na ziemi. Logika podpowiada więc, że Objawienie 21:4 musi nawiązywać do przyszłych błogosławieństw właśnie na ziemi (Ps. 37:29). w14 15.5 1:11

In our ministry, we may meet someone who believes that all good people go to heaven. Such a belief may affect the way the householder interprets the Bible. For example, suppose we were to consider with him Revelation 21:4. The person might assume that the blessings described in that verse apply to life in heaven. How could we reason with him? Rather than using additional proof texts, we could focus on a detail right in that scripture. It says that “death will be no more.” We could ask the person if he agrees that in order for something to be no more, it had to exist in the first place. Likely, he will say yes. Then we could point out that there has never been death in heaven; people die only here on earth. Logically, then, Revelation 21:4 must be referring to future blessings here on earth.—Ps. 37:29. w14 5/15 1:11

Vou deveras segurar-te firmemente com a minha direita de justiça.” (Isa. 41:10) Segundo, ele lembra a você que as promessas dele são confiáveis: “Eu até mesmo o falei; também o introduzirei. Eu o formei, também o farei.” (Isa. 46:11) Terceiro, Jeová lhe concede “o poder além do normal” para que você cumpra seu ministério. (2 Cor. 4:7) Quarto, para ajudá-lo a perseverar em sua designação, nosso amoroso Pai lhe dá uma fraternidade mundial de adoradores verdadeiros que ‘persistem em se consolar e em se edificar uns aos outros’. Jéhovah t’a confié un ministère et il t’aidera à l’accomplir. Comment ? Premièrement, il te rassure : « Je t’affermirai. Oui, je t’aiderai. Oui, vraiment, je te tiendrai ferme par ma droite de justice » (Is. 41:10). Deuxièmement, il te rappelle que ses promesses sont dignes de foi : « Je l’ai dit ; je le ferai aussi arriver. Je l’ai formé, je vais aussi le faire » (Is. 46:11). Troisièmement, il te donne la « puissance qui passe la normale » pour que tu accomplisses ton ministère (2 Cor. 4:7). Quatrièmement, pour t’aider à persévérer dans ton affectation, notre Père bienveillant te donne une famille internationale de véritables adorateurs qui « continu[ent] à [se] consoler mutuellement et à [se] bâtir l’un l’autre » (1 Thess. 5:11). Tandis que Jéhovah te donnera les moyens de t’acquitter de tes attributions, ta foi en lui augmentera et tu te rendras compte que toute mission à son service est une richesse plus grande que n’importe quel trésor terrestre. w14 15/4 1:12, 13.
