En el siglo quinto antes de nuestra era, a Nehemías le preocupó enterarse de que los hijos de algunos judíos que habían regresado de Babilonia no sabían hebreo. Como no entendían por completo la Palabra de Dios, estaban perdiendo su identidad como siervos de Jehová (Neh. 8:2, 8). Algunos padres que sirven en congregaciones de otro idioma han visto que sus hijos no tienen tanto interés por la verdad como antes. ¿Por qué? Al leer en otro idioma, puede que la verdad no nos llegue tanto al corazón como si lo hiciéramos en el nuestro. Además, no poder comunicarnos bien en otra lengua puede agotarnos mental y espiritualmente. El alumno no es superior a su maestro, pero todo el que esté perfectamente instruido será como su maestro (Luc. 6:40).

Jesús amaba a Jehová, su Palabra y a las personas. Por eso, les tocaba el corazón cuando les enseñaba (Luc. 24:32; Juan 7:46). Los padres pueden lograr lo mismo con sus hijos si demuestran un amor como ese (Deut. 6:5-8; Luc. 6:45). Padres, sean buenos estudiantes de la Biblia y de nuestras herramientas de estudio. Interésense en la creación y en los artículos de nuestras publicaciones que hablan del tema (Mat. 6:26, 28). Su conocimiento aumentará, su aprecio por Dios será más profundo y estarán mejor preparados para ser maestros de sus hijos. Así es, para Jesús había algo más importante que complacerse a sí mismo: ayudar a los demás. Eso era fundamental para cumplir la voluntad de Dios. Siguiendo su ejemplo, renunciaremos a ropa o a formas de vestir que nos gustan, pero que podrían impedir que nos escuchen las personas a las que queremos predicar (Rom. 15:2). Los cristianos que son padres tienen el deber de enseñar a su familia a poner en práctica los principios de la Biblia. Por eso, tratan de que toda la familia se arregle y se vista con modestia a fin de alegrar el corazón de Jehová )(Prov. 22:6; 27:11. Mediante su ejemplo y cariñosa enseñanza, ayudan a sus hijos a respetar al santo Dios al que adoran. Hay que felicitar a los padres que enseñan a sus hijos dónde y cómo encontrar la ropa adecuada, es decir, ropa que les guste y les permita tener el honor de representar a Jehová. w16.09 3:13, 14

Seems,  we  all  knowing  WHERE  is  the  place,  haha -  Its  ONLY  for  our  JW  kiddies...  and  they  love  C & S.   Before  65  years  you  was  their  age,  right ?  YES,  they  are  not  alive  for  us  -  but  many  kiddies  believing !  -  Think  back  to  your  daughter,  when  she  was  playing  and  talking  to  her  dolls....  In  a  special  age,  these  dolls are  little  alive  for  kids,  YES !!!!   Also  they  come  nearer  to  the  theocraty,  I  think  and  hope !   Maybe  that  was  the  reason  for  making  these  2  dolls  with  alot  success  in  the  video's.  For  me  its  ok  and  like  a  little  wonder   A THANKS  TO  OUR  JW.ORG  ~~~~~

Yes, Jesus put helping others ahead of personal convenience—helping them was key to his doing God’s will. Hence, we will forgo items or styles of clothing that we like but that could close the minds of people to whom we want to witness. (Rom. 15:2) Christian parents have a responsibility to teach their families to apply Bible principles. This includes making sure that they and their children strive to make God’s heart rejoice by their modest style of dress and grooming. (Prov. 22:6; 27:11) Parents can instill in their children a healthy respect for the holy God whom they worship by setting the right example for their children and by giving loving and practical instruction. How good it is when parents teach their youngsters where and how to find suitable clothes! This means not just what they like but also what will enable them to carry out their privilege of representing Jehovah God. w16.09 3:13, 14
