January 30, 2019, in Oryol, the concluding pleadings in the case of Dennis Christensen have ended with the defendant giving his final statement.

Judge Aleksey Rudnev announced that he is taking several days to render his decision. The verdict will be announced in court on February 6, 2019 at 11:00.

Dennis Christensen was born in Copenhagen (Denmark) in 1972 to a family professing the religion of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Dennis has a younger sister, Maybritt, with whom he has had close relationship since childhood. In 1989 Dennis took a conscious decision to get baptised and become one of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

In 1991 he finished carpenter courses; in 1993 he received a diploma as a construction technician from the Technical School of the city of Haslev (Denmark). Since the age of 19, Dennis has lived apart from his parents and provided for himself. In 1995 Dennis arrived in St. Petersburg as a volunteer to help in the construction of the branch office of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Solnechnoye. He came to love Russia, and in 1999 he moved to live in the city of Murmansk. There he met his future wife, Irina, who recently had become one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. They married in 2002, and in 2006 they decided to move further south, to the city of Oryol.

In Oryol Dennis worked as an individual entrepreneur, offering his services as a builder and master of interior renovations. Not having children of his own, Dennis enthusiastically engaged in improving the children’s playground in the courtyard of his building on ul. Priborostroitelnaya. Dennis and Irina Christensen have a good relationship with their neighbours.

Solar and Lunar Eclipses in 2019

There'll be something for everybody in 2019, with total, annular, and partial solar eclipses — and total and partial lunar eclipses to look forward to.

Up to seven eclipses of the Sun and Moon can take place in one year, though the last time that happened was 1982, and the fewest possible is four. The mix of five events occurring in 2019 is especially interesting, because no two will be alike! There'll be three different types of solar eclipse — one each of partial, annular, and total — along with a total and a partial lunar eclipse.

It's been more than three years since everyone in the U.S. has experienced a total lunar eclipse — the last one was September 27–28, 2015 — and skygazers are hungry for another! As the graphic at right shows, the eclipse will last almost 3½ hours from the beginning of the partial phase at 3:34 UT until it ends at 6:51 UT. Totality lasts 63 minutes, from 4:41 to 5:44 UT.

The timing of this one, with mid-eclipse at 5:12 UT, gives everyone in North America a ringside seat — though it'll be a late night for anyone on the East Coast. As veteran skywatcher Joe Rao notes in Sky & Telescope's January issue, the eclipsed Moon will appear high in a mid-winter sky, and this event occurs on the Sunday night of a 3-day holiday weekend in the U.S. So if it's clear that night, you'll have no (good) excuse for skipping this wonderful celestial event.

I just saw,  on some ilands many people were cleaning too, very good!   I can't understand, the  UK brothers & sisters are too lazy. What is with your elders?  Lazy too?

I know some brothers & sisters from the UK  -  will ask them about this theme....

For me as a German speaking person its the same...  not a nice poem feeling.  But perhaps its a beginner and a loving sister or brother  so its ok.  I think so🙏❤️

The sadness of the world ....

Everywhere, the hate system
It's shaky like a cardboard!
The weak people,
With a baritone voice!

The whole system is breaking up!
A "dysfunctional" system,
Children left without mother,
Chairs with glasses!

People are fed with fairy tales,
Aziam, with basil,
And they collect fantasies instead,
And warfare "from place to place"!

Everywhere, it's anarchy,
From concepts and ideas,
Life in spirit is not alive,
Serving the false gods!

The world is simandic,
And she's a queen!
But by nature, it's creepy
And idols worship!

The world has no state,
Good news to hear!
Ignorant, as it seems,
In fact, it's deaf!

By Jehovah, he often hears,
But their ears are deaf,
Unskilled, through wet meadows,
She eats raw poles!

"You have your teeth streaked,
You have a stomach in the stomach!
Good news you avoid
And you remain eternal arid! "

Only JEHOVAH, and the people,
They have a purpose, and a chosen meaning!
"- You to" sense "the world you want,
And in sadness you fall often! "

Every mountain and every island was removed from its place.—Rev. 6:14.

Much of the evil that is done in this world is the work not of individuals but of organizations. Think of the religious organizations that deceive millions of people about the nature of God, the trustworthiness of the Bible, the future of the earth and mankind—and many other subjects. Or what about the governments that promote war and ethnic violence, that oppress the poor and defenseless, that thrive on bribery and favoritism? What about greedy corporations that pollute the environment, deplete natural resources, and exploit the gullibility of consumers in order to bring untold wealth to a few while millions struggle in poverty? God’s Word foretells that the governments of this old world and all their dependent organizations will be rocked from their foundations—destroyed—along with all those who side with them against God’s Kingdom.—Jer. 25:31-33. w17.04 11 ¶7-8

Fact is...   in MANY countries and towns,  brothers and sisters were helping by cleaning their towns !  Also in my german town STADE, every year....   Its NOT strange, all that is TRUE, bec. I was helping too.   Ask competently  brothers, then you still can learn a little

*Tank broken*

The world's tank, broken,
It slips slowly, life!

By "True Life"!

Jehovah is far,
Thinking of the world, the rebels!

She repudiously rejects the Word,
JEHOVAH, eternally alive,

There is a lot of twist,

There is a lot of trouble,
In Satan's system,

I do all things for the sake of the good news, in order to share it with others.—1 Cor. 9:23.

Although we are simply imperfect earthen vessels, the message we preach can bring everlasting life to us and to those who listen to us. The apostle Paul’s love for the ministry moved him to work hard at making disciples. (Rom. 1:14, 15; 2 Tim. 4:2) That helped him to endure severe opposition. (1 Thess. 2:2) How can we demonstrate such love for the ministry? One way that Paul demonstrated appreciation for the ministry was by being alert to opportunities to speak to others. Like the apostles and early Christians, we preach informally, publicly, and from house to house. (Acts 5:42; 20:20) As our circumstances allow, we look for ways to expand our ministry, perhaps by serving as an auxiliary or a regular pioneer. We might also learn another language, move to another area in our own country, or even move to another land.—Acts 16:9, 10. w17.06 10-11 ¶8-9
