Marriage is very much a part of life. A review of its origin and purpose can help us to have a proper view of this relationship and enjoy its intended blessings more fully. After God created the first man, Adam, the animals were brought to him so that he could name them. But “for man there was no helper as a complement of him.” God therefore caused Adam to fall into a deep sleep, took a rib from him, built it into a woman, and brought her to the man. (Gen. 2:20-24) Thus, marriage is of divine origin. Jesus confirmed that it was Jehovah who stated: “A man will leave his father and his mother and will stick to his wife, and the two will be one flesh.” (Matt. 19:4, 5) God’s use of a rib from Adam in creating the first woman could have impressed on the first human couple the closeness of their union. There was no arrangement for divorce or for having more than one mate at the same time. w16.08 1:1, 2

Reports Chivchalov: (Anton Chivchalov Blog)   At least 16 dwellings of civilians in Belgorod and 12 dwellings in Kemerovo were subjected to law enforcement intrusions and searches. Dozens of people have been detained, some have been detained for two days. Citizens are suspected of continuing the activities of the organization "Management Center of Jehovah's Witnesses in Russia".   In the evening of February 7, 2018 in Belgorod, large groups of law enforcement officers, consisting of police officers, the Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and armed fighters of the SOBR, simultaneously invaded a number of private houses of local residents. In some cases citizens were thrown on the floor, put to the wall, then all were forcibly taken to the police, in the homes they searched. … citizens were confiscated from the Bible, all electronic devices and media, passports, money, in some cases even photos hanging on the wall. Already the next day, interrogations of citizens began, which are in the police on the agenda. It became known that an investigation team was established, consisting of 12 (!) Investigators of the Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. … In Kemerovo, …[an official suspected that] at least 14 local residents continue to profess the religion of Jehovah's Witnesses. The judge of the central district court of the city of Kemerovo, Irina Ivanova, at one point satisfied at once at least 12 of her motions. As a result, a search was carried out in 12 houses of peaceful believers, which continued even during the night. In some cases, armed SOBR officers in masks opened their doors by force, bursting in, putting civilians face to the wall with their arms raised or falling to the floor. The apartment was sometimes invaded by more than 10 people, including police officers, Rosgvardia and the Investigative Committee. Citizens were denied the opportunity to make a phone call or to invite a lawyer; the refusal was accompanied by an explanation of Stanislav Shlagov, senior police officer for particularly important cases: "We are not in America."   Citizens, including women and the elderly, experience a state close to shock. Many have exacerbated chronic diseases. Telephones, tablets, computers, personal belongings, information carriers are confiscated. It is reported that witnesses who were present during the searches were familiar with the police and actively assisted them, in some cases with their tips.

The Jews in Poland and Germany .... who sold everything at "five cents on the dollar", and left for America with the clothes on their back escaped in time.   The rest often escaped as hot ashes going up a crematorium chimney.

The section "ENJOY YOUR DOG'S" brought to mind a joke:
A women in a poor country received a parrot as a present from her son, who also sent a letter to her saying, "Hope you enjoyed having a parrot."

They  came  and  before  the  humans  coming,  these  giant  animals  had  to  go  again !  I  hope  and  not  believe,  the  Dinosaurs  living  together  with  us !   We  will  see,  how  Jehovah  decided.   Now  its  all  only  conjectures,  not  more.   HUMAN - THINKING

A Poem for a Special Friend.....
I've thought about so many things throughout the days gone by...
People that I've known so well... some dear friends who have died.
Their cherished memory lives within my mind, and in my heart...
I sometimes see them in my dreams - although we're far apart.
I've made some good friends through the years who did enrich my life...
Some of them were my mentors -- others helped me cope with strife.
I shared with them warm laughter, and I've shared with them sad tears.
Their loving kindness oft'times helped to quell my many fears.
Things happen for a reason... That's what I've heard some say...
We all experience miracles in our lives every day.
Jehovah knows our needs, and when he sees the time is right
He brings a friend into your life - your sadness takes to flight.
Jehovah truly blesses us with friendships that are true...
And when I think of special friends, I often think of you.
Because you've touched a very special place inside my heart...
I always pray to Jah above that we will never part.
Your pleasant ways and kindness have endeared you so to me...
We've shared so many good times - How I love your company!
You're like my own dear sister - that's the closeness that I feel.
The friendship that we share is just so genuine and real.
I always pray Jehovah will keep you safe from harm...
and keep you in his tender, loving care that is so warm...
May his spirit guide you on the narrow and cramped road...
as we always help each other to bear life's heavy load.
Take care, and know I love you... I pray you'll always be...
Alive and well forever on earth's paradise with me.
I'd like for us to be here when our loved ones do return

Yes, Jehovah richly blesses us with friendships that are grand...

I  think,  thats  all  the  same  generations !  And  down  is  a  woman    First  I  thought,  all  standing  on  the  shoulders,  but  then  I  saw,  they  all  stand  alone  on  the  stones !

I  know,  you're  a  VERY  BIG  and  special  dog - friend    Much  more  then  women  can,  maybe...   And,  you  had  that  certain  something,  what  makes  such  an  espacially  friendship !  For  that  the  most  women  are  powerless,  haha   I  can  imagine,  you  always  need  a  dog,  yes??   But  how  does  it  come,  this special  relationship ?  Just  curious....   All  dogs  more  in  your  nearness  and  YOU  fed  them  all ?  And  daily  walking  with  them ?
But  dogs  realize  between  a  man  and  woman,  the  voice  and  other  talking !  Its  very  fascinating,  animals  and  humans....  yes,  it  does  give  differences !
ENJOY  YOUR  DOG'S  -  JTR !    Thats  some  of  the  best  friends

As much as some women also love dogs, I believe there is a "special relationship" between men and dogs.
My first wife died in 1982, and I do not remember what she looked like .... but I remember my dog, Jedediah Dog (Jed), in great detail, even though he died several years before.

I fully agree in the hope that animals will live longer, but Jehovah knows better. The longer we live with animals, the more we will mourn when they die. (Rev. 21:3,4)  I too would love to have my first dog back, but what about he others. The photo of my dog Sputty is unusual, It was a black and white photo coloured with oil paints.

The Universe is full of things we do not know .... and Jehovah MAY resurrect our dogs, perhaps not for his love of dogs ... but willy-nilly ... because of his love for us,  in general. 
He has never stated he would .... but  I used to buy my pet hamsters a wheel to play and exercise on.
How much more is God's love for mankind than our love for pet hamsters ( and dogs, etc.) ?

Our first dog was named Sputty, a fox terrier, because he was born at the time the Russians sent Laika to die in an orbit. He was put down in 1975 also at the age of 18 after he stopped eating. I cried while thanking Jehovah for lending him to us.

Some people live to a ripe old age, while others may die in their youth.
The unexpected befalls us all, and we all know that this is the truth.
Of what benefit is it to live to old age if one hasn't served God above?
The One who created all things and gave life to us all... The God of true love...
What if we didn't make a good name with Jehovah, the one to whom we all owe
every breath we take - all the blessings we get? What if we never did know...
The True God, Jehovah, or his purpose so grand? What if we never did find...
An accurate knowledge of the Truth? What if we left these things behind?
"You are worthy, Jehovah, to receive all our praise - you are worthy to receive honor too...
for none of us would have life at all if it weren't for the fact that you
created all things in the heavens and earth.... because of your will, we exist...
Therefore, we should take stock of you all of our days, and from serving you never desist."
So what do we do when we're up in years? What do we do in old age?
Do we keep serving Jah with all of our might? Do we, in his service, engage?
Do we make a good name for ourselves with the One who gives life to one and all?
Do we make it our aim to obey all of his commands? Do we, on his Grand Name, call?
If we do, then we can be like a mighty tree - absorb nourishment from his Word...
With mightiness we can serve him all of our days.. obeying the things we have heard...
So, what benefit is it to reach old age? What benefit is longevity?
They're only as good as the years we spend serving Jehovah God faithfully.
