¿Traerá felicidad y paz a mi familia?

A man of understanding acquires skillful direction.—Prov. 1:5.
When we are faced with serious decisions, it is vital to draw on the Bible as the best source of advice and to seek Jehovah’s guidance in prayer. Jehovah can give us the qualities we need to make decisions that are in harmony with his will. Make it a practice to ask: ‘Will this decision give evidence of my love for Jehovah? Will it bring joy and peace to my family? And will it show that I am patient and kind?’ Jehovah does not coerce us into loving him and serving him. In line with the free will that he grants us, he respects our responsibility and right to ‘choose for ourselves’ whether we will serve him. (Josh. 24:15; Eccl. 5:4) But he expects us to follow through on other decisions that we make based on his guidance. With faith in Jehovah’s way of doing things and the principles that he has kindly provided, we can make wise decisions and prove ourselves steady in all our ways.—Jas. 1:5-8; 4:8. w17.03 2:17, 18

    These things . . . were written for a warning to us.—1 Cor. 10:11.
When the Israelites adopted the sinful ways of the Canaanites, Jehovah no longer granted them his protective care. (Judg. 2:1-3, 11-15; Ps. 106:40-43) What a challenge it must have been for God-fearing families to remain loyal to Jehovah during those hard years! Nevertheless, the Bible reveals that there were faithful ones, such as Jephthah, Elkanah, Hannah, and Samuel, who were determined to gain God’s approval. (1 Sam. 1:20-28; 2:26) We live in a world where people think and act in ways that are similar to those in ancient Canaan—they glorify sex and violence and promote materialism. Jehovah has given us clear warnings—just as he did the Israelites—to safeguard us from such influences. Will we learn from the mistakes of the Israelites? (1 Cor. 10:6-10) We must strive to remove any trace of Canaanitelike thinking from our lives. (Rom. 12:2) Have we been faithful in making an effort to do so? w16.04 1:4-6

World’s  tiniest  Bible  now  on  view !
The Nano Bible exhibition at Jerusalem’s Shrine of the Book ‘is a fascinating confluence … where the Land of the Bible meets the Start-Up Nation.’
And Then There Was Nano: The Smallest Bible in the World, opened last week at the Shrine of the Book, the architecturally iconic home of the Dead Sea Scrolls on the campus of The Israel Museum in Jerusalem.
The exhibition, launched in honor of the museumÂ’s 50th anniversary, allows the public its first look at the worldÂ’s smallest version of the Hebrew Bible, created at the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology. The Nano Bible serves as a contemporary complement to the Dead Sea Scrolls, the oldest biblical manuscripts in the world.
Also opened last week is The Architecture of the Shrine of the Book, devoted to the unique history and design of the expressionist-style building, designed by Frederic Kiesler and Armand Bartos.
Developed by the Russell Berrie Nanotechnology Institute at the Technion in Haifa, And Then There Was Nano showcases the process of making the worldÂ’s smallest Hebrew Bible, etched onto a gold-plated silicon microchip no larger than a grain of salt. The text can be read only with the help of a powerful microscope.
The first of two copies of the Nano Bible, made by Prof. Uri Sivan and Dr. Ohad Zohar at the Technion, was presented to Pope Benedict XVI during his visit to Israel in 2009.
“The Nano Bible exhibition is a fascinating confluence of history, culture, and cutting-edge science — where the Land of the Bible meets the Start-Up Nation,” said Technion President Prof. Peretz Lavie.

Lunar Year  *2018*:  Which missions are planned?
The lunar year  *2018*:  What happens this year on the moon?
     Updated on January 29, 2018, 15:39pm
The moon is not only responsible for the ebb and flow, but has always been a magnet for us humans. The first moon landing in 1969 was for a long time a synonym for modern technology, but after 1972, no one set foot on the earth satellite. This could change in the foreseeable future:
In 2018, the moon will once again become a popular destination.
It is not only trained physicists or astronauts who accept the dangerous trip into the dark spaces - even tourists should explore space this year.
Made possible by the Tesla founder Elon Musk, who offers with his company SpaceX missions in a Dragon capsule for private individuals. According to Musk, two passengers have already made a down payment for the flight. Experts believe that the trip per capita costs  80 to 100 million dollars.
The new rocket type Falcon Heavy should shoot the two heavy-duty space travelers towards the moon at the end of the year. The capsule will then - similar to ultimately the Apollo 13 - lie down a so-called swingby maneuver and therefore not enter the lunar orbit.
The trip should last about a week and last until the end of the year.
The mission is no easy task, as the Falcon Heavy is new and will be directed by professional astronauts for the first time in the middle of the year. Nevertheless, Elon Musk's Dragon Capsule does not require certification for manned launches, as the tourists fly at their own risk.
Even Donald Trump reaches for the stars....
Of course, a certain amount of risk-taking is part of the journey into space, yet another moon mission planned for 2018 has been postponed. Donald Trump had set his sights on his astronauts leaving footprints on the moon as soon as possible - but he had to take a setback.
The head of state was serious. In early 2017, Trump asked NASA for a feasibility study to see if the mission to the Moon originally scheduled for 2021 could start in 2018.
But the Space Agency denied the President of the United States: The flight to the moon is too expensive and too risky, and so the originally scheduled date of the first manned excursion remains.
Moon mission of the People's Republic of China....
But not only the US is trying to conquer the universe. The Chinese, too, have been exploring for some time and will send an unmanned spacecraft to the Moon with the so-called Chang'e 4 mission as part of the Chinese Lunar Exploration Program (CLEP).
Their goal is to find out how gravitation affects plants and insects that are actually at home on Earth. The attraction is only one-sixteenth of that which reigns on our blue planet.
In addition, the Chinese shoot an aluminum box on the moon, in which are seeds of potatoes and Gänserauke as well as silkworms - all in all, an autonomous ecosystem and a test, whether in the future under certain circumstances food can grow on the moon.
In 15 years, the Chinese researchers plan a manned space mission, which takes the results under the microscope. And who knows: Maybe in the foreseeable future we will eat real moon cake with grain from the earth satellite.
    Europe and Japan conquer Mercury....
But not only the moon is the object of desire. Mercury is also the focus of the researchers. In October, the mission BepiColombo starts to explore the smallest planet of the solar system and provide evidence of its formation.
In addition, the scientists want to find out if the core of Mercury is liquid or solid and if the planet is tectonically active. It will take some time until we see the first results, because the probe is on the way for a total of seven years and will not land on Mercury until 2025.

    THE  BLUE  BLOOD - MOON....
The  *blue super blood full moon*  is approaching !   ENJOY
     Updated on January 25, 2018, 10:03 pm
At the beginning of January we were already able to admire a super full moon. But the highlight of the month is yet to come: On the 31st, there is another super full moon, which is also a *blood moon* and a *blue moon*.
The year 2018 began with a super-full moon: on the night of January 2, the Earth's moon shone brighter and bigger than usual. But that was far from everything for this month. On the 31st of January, the moon will be waiting for almost every feature it has to offer. There is a blue super blood full moon darkness coming up.
The night star then comes very close to the earth and therefore appears up to 14 % larger  from the ground.  So it's a super moon again.
Full moon bathed in dark red light.....
At the same time, the earth pushes between the sun and the moon. The long-wave sunlight that streams past the earth bathes the moon in a dark red light. The phenomenon is called Blood Full Moon. And because it's the second full moon in a month, it's also called the blue moon.
People can watch the spectacle directly, especially in North America, Australia, New Zealand and eastern Russia. In Europe it is bright daylight when the big moon spectacle takes place. Here, people have to be satisfied with media coverage.  But that too could be worthwhile.
Because all three events come together in one moment is extremely rare.
According to  NASA,  the last time was more than 150 years ago.
