[Paul gave] many words of encouragement to the ones there.—Acts 20:2.
In his letters, Paul spoke highly of his fellow Christians. He had traveled with some of them for years and undoubtedly knew their faults, but he said good things about them. For instance, Paul described Timothy as his “beloved and faithful child in the Lord,” one who would genuinely care for the concerns of other Christians. (1 Cor. 4:17; Phil. 2:19, 20) The apostle commended Titus to the Corinthian congregation as “my companion and a fellow worker for your interests.” (2 Cor. 8:23) How encouraged Timothy and Titus must have been to learn what Paul thought of them! Paul and Barnabas risked their lives by going back to places where they had suffered violent attacks. For instance, even though they had faced fanatic opposition in Lystra, they returned there in order to encourage new disciples to remain in the faith. (Acts 14:19-22) In Ephesus, after Paul faced an angry crowd, he encouraged the disciples there.—Acts 20:1. w16.11 1:10, 11

Faith is . . . the convincing evidence of realities that are not seen.—Heb. 11:1, ftn.

Christian faith is a precious quality. Not all humans possess it. (2 Thess. 3:2)
However, Jehovah has given to each one of his worshippers “a measure of faith.” (Rom. 12:3; Gal. 5:22) All who have it should be deeply grateful. Jesus Christ said that his heavenly Father draws people to himself through His Son. (John 6:44, 65) Acquiring faith in Jesus, in turn, makes it possible for an individual to gain forgiveness of sins. That, then, opens up the prospect of enjoying an everlasting relationship with Jehovah. (Rom. 6:23) What did we do to deserve such a wonderful blessing? As sinners, the only thing we deserve is death. (Ps. 103:10) But Jehovah saw a potential for good in us. Out of his undeserved kindness, he opened our heart to the good news. So we began to exercise faith in Jesus with everlasting life in view.—1 John 4:9, 10. w16.10 4:1, 2

Temple of Herod in the days of Jesus....
The measures of the temple were portentosas.
This rectangle, which occupied just over one fifth of the surface of the city of Jerusalem,  was closed by  sturdy 45-meter-high walls.
Its north face, known as the other's atrium, and whose end was the tower of Antonia, was 275 meters long. Opposite the Olivette was the facade of the temple - all in white marble - 392 meters high. The western wall was practically the same size as the previous one, and finally the southern face, which encompasses the sacred grounds of the castle, and where the module has two large doors, 245 meters long.
In terms of the temple of Herod himself, which stood in the middle of this large rectangle, he had 176 meters in length  for 127  meters wide.

Many decades ago there was a movie called "Bring them back alive" Frank Buck was the hunter who trapped scores of animals and dragged them home in cages of wood.
Some may have imagined that this was the way Noah and his sons did it - not so. It would have taken centuries for Noah to do it in the same way as Frank Buck.
One of our publications mentioned that the animals came to Noah. (Gen. 7:9)

For the first two years of it’s life,  the baby is completely dependent on its mother.  It is fascinating, that orangutan mothers nurse their babies, until they are five years old or more,  which makes them the species with the longest dependence period.
I love the adoring and totally engrossed look on the mom's face.

Get out of her, my people.—Rev. 18:4.
In the decades leading up to World War I, Charles Taze Russell and his associates realized that the organizations of Christendom were not teaching Bible truth. Accordingly, they resolved to have nothing to do with false religion as they understood it. As early as November of 1879, Zion’s Watch Tower straightforwardly set out their Scriptural position by stating: “Every church claiming to be a chaste virgin espoused to Christ, but in reality united to and supported by the world (beast) we must condemn as being in scripture language a harlot church,” a reference to Babylon the Great. (Rev. 17:1, 2) God-fearing men and women knew what they must do. They could not expect to receive God’s blessing if they continued to support false religious organizations. Consequently, many Bible Students prepared letters of withdrawal from their churches. w16.11 5:2, 3

Be completely united in the same mind and in the same line of thought.—1 Cor. 1:10.
Jehovah leads and feeds those in the earthly part of his organization by means of “the faithful and discreet slave” under the direction of Christ, the “head of the congregation.” (Matt. 24:45-47; Eph. 5:23) Like the first-century governing body, this slave accepts God’s inspired word, or message, and highly esteems it.3)(1 Thess. 2:1 The Bible directs us to attend meetings regularly. (Heb. 10:24, 25) It urges us to promote unity of doctrine. God’s Word tells us to give the Kingdom first place in our lives. (Matt. 6:33) The Scriptures also emphasize our duty and privilege to preach from house to house, in public places, and informally. (Matt. 28:19, 20; Acts 5:42; 17:17; 20:20) God’s own Book directs Christian elders to keep his organization clean. (1 Cor. 5:1-5, 13; 1 Tim. 5:19-21) And Jehovah decrees that all those in his organization must be clean physically and spiritually.—2 Cor. 7:1. w16.11 3:7, 8

Jehovah's Witnesses walk the walk, inviting guests to 3-day convention in Jacksonville

BOB SELF/The Times-UnionThea Johnson holds a copy of the invitation she and her husband, Ralph, were handing out to residents of the Ortega Bluff neighborhood off Collins Road Wednesday afternoon. The public is invited to attend any session of the JehovahÂ’s Witness convention today through Sunday.
    About the conference
From mid-May through mid-September, Jehovah's Witnesses will hold 385 conventions in 103 cities throughout the United States. The convention theme "Safeguard Your Heart" focuses on the Bible's references to the figurative heart. Jehovah's Witnesses believe that the figurative heart needs protection if one is to have a good relationship with God and lasting happiness in life.
The public is invited to attend any session or the entire program today through Sunday at Veterans Memorial Arena. The morning sessions will begin at 9:20 each day. Today, the afternoon session will begin at 1:50. On Saturday, the afternoon session will begin at 1:35, and on Sunday the afternoon session begins at 1:25.
    About the religion
Jehovah's Witness is a religious denomination founded in the United States during the late 19th century in which active evangelism is practiced, the imminent approach of the millennium is preached, and war and organized governmental authority in matters of conscience are strongly opposed. Christmas is not celebrated because Christmas and its observances are not mentioned in the Bible, and members will not say the Pledge of Allegiance or donate blood.

    By Larry Hannan
No one was home at the first door Ralph and Teah Johnson knocked at on Broadgate Court in the Ortega Bluff neighborhood.
The second door produced a barking dog, but no people. The third door finally produced a man who looked like he'd just woken up from a long nap.
"He was nice and we told him about the convention this weekend," said Teah Johnson after walking down the street. "We said we hoped to see him there."
The Johnsons were spreading the word about the 2012 Jehovah's Witness "Safeguard Your Heart" district convention that is starting today at Veterans Memorial Arena. The three-day event will be attended by about 11,000 people of the Jehovah's Witness faith, and people who don't practice the religion are also welcome to attend.
There is no admission fee. People from Savannah to Palm Coast will be attending the event, with about 70 congregations coming.
There are about 6,000 Jehovah's Witnesses in the Jacksonville area, said spokesman Frank Woodcock.
Like most members of the Jehovah's Witness Faith, walking door-to-door is nothing new to the Johnsons. Talking about their faith to strangers is an essential part of what they do.
And the Johnsons say on most days people are very polite.
"If someone says something mean, it does hurt," Ralph Johnson said. "But that doesn't happen very often."
And when it does happen he reminds himself that he's a messenger of God, and it's not his responsibility to please the person receiving the message, Johnson said.
"If someone doesn't want to here what we have to say we move on," he said.
But Mark McCumber, a local Jehovah's Witness who's known to most people as a professional golfer who won the 1988 Players Championship, said the biggest challenge isn't unfriendly people so much as it's people being too busy to talk.
"We're here to help people build better families and a better relationship with God," he said. "But nowadays it's a challenge to find the time to talk."
Jehovah's Witnesses, who have been around since the 19th century, are probably most well known for their door-to-door evangelism, refusing military service, not celebrating Christmas and declining to say the pledge of allegiance.
But McCumber said their religion is more than that.
"We're all loyal citizens," he said. "Except when it conflicts with our beliefs."
Julie Ingersoll, professor of religious studies at the University of North Florida, said evangelizing is a much higher priority to Jehovah's Witnesses compared to other religions.
"You have to remember that the word 'witness' is right in their name," Ingersoll said.
While other religions like Mormonism and Scientology have fought for acceptance, and pushed hard against suggestions they are weird, or a cult, Jehovah's Witnesses have never really sought acceptance.

I was on the second ARK .... the one with the dinosaurs, and I had Polaroid photographs taken by my fiance at the time, Wilma Slaghoople ( who later ran off and married Fred Flintstone) with me ... and the First ARK in the background.
Unfortunately they did not show the bow or stern of the ship, ..... SOOOooooo .... without hard evidence. I would be reticent to telling what I know about the construction of the ARK ... because I cannot PROVE it.
It would have to be considered as OPINION ONLY.

The  ark  -  after  the  Bible....   ( for  all  JW...)
The dimensions of the ark are given in the Bible. The slave fixes an elbow like 44.5 cm, which is confirmed by archaeological finds. The size of the ark according to Genesis 6:15 was 300 cubits (long) x 50 (wide) x 30 (high). That's about 133 x 22 x 13 meters. According to biblical history, the ark had three floors. Each apartment had an area of 2,926 m². This leads us to a total area of 8,778 m² (2,926 x 3)
In comparison, a football pitch in the Bundesliga in Germany has an area of 7,140 m². If we add the area behind the gate (about 3 meters) and next to the side lines (about 1.5 meters). ), this results in 7,881 m². It's not exactly the area of the ark that's even bigger, but to get a rough idea of the size, the comparison should be sufficient.
