I was a strong Catholic and taught religion to children from age 15 to 19 yr. But I had many questions that the priests would not answer. I felt that things were getting worse in the world but no one would agree with me. Then I married a draft doger during the Viet Nam war and went to Canada in 1969. His grandfather sent us literature. I recognized  the truth right away and wanted to become a Witness after I read the Truth Book and looked up the  Scriptures. But I could not find the Witnesses to ask for a study so I decided to call the priest to ask if he knew any Witnesses. He did so I was able to get a study.

Überlebensstrategien in der Kälte....
Die normale Körpertemperatur des Menschen beträgt 37 Grad Celsius. Bei anderen Säugetier-Arten sind es ein paar Grad mehr oder weniger. In den eiskalten Polarregionen der Erde ist ein warmblütiger Organismus gegenüber seiner Umgebung einem Temperaturgefälle von bis zu 90 Grad Celsius ausgesetzt. Wie kommen Mensch und Tier mit solch extremen Unterschieden zurecht?

Darum geht's:
    Tiere bauen durch ihr Fell eine natürliche Wärmeisolation auf.
    Das Fell ist zudem extrem dicht.
    Bei Eisbär und Rentier sind die Haare innen hohl.
    Die Inuit tragen traditionelle Kleidung aus Tierfellen.

Ist es draußen kälter, als der Körper vertragen kann, muss so viel Wärme wie möglich konserviert werden. Als besonders wirkungsvoll hat sich die Strategie der "Wärmeisolation mittels Luftschicht", wie wir es zum Beispiel auch von der Thermoskanne kennen, bewährt
Luft ist ein schlechter Wärmeleiter und ideal, um eine Barriere gegen kalte Außentemperaturen zu bieten. Tiere können mit ihrem Feder- oder Haarkleid die Luft um ihren Körper isolieren und bauen eine natürliche Wärmeisolationsschicht um sich herum auf.
Mit hohlem Haar der Kälte trotzen
Tiere in den Polarregionen haben, neben einer dicken Fettschicht unter der Haut, ein extrem dichtes Fell. Im Vergleich zu den Tieren der mittleren Breitengrade finden sich im Fell von Polartieren drei bis viermal so viele Haare pro Quadratzentimeter. Im Fell des Rentiers oder des Eisbären gibt es noch eine zusätzliche Besonderheit: Die Haare sind innen hohl. Dadurch wird die isolierende Luftschicht noch besser am Körper festgehalten.
Wissenschaftler nehmen an, dass die Haare des Eisbärenfells, die eigentlich völlig farblos sind und nur wegen der Lichtbrechung weiß erscheinen, die Wärmestrahlen zusätzlich in ihrem Hohlraum einfangen. Dann leiten sie die Wärme weiter an die Haut, die beim Eisbären schwarz ist. Wegen ihrer dunklen Färbung kann die Eisbärenhaut die Wärme gut absorbieren.
Unschlagbare Inuit-Kleidung
Menschen benötigen Kleidung, um die Körperwärme zu konservieren. Für die Inuit, die Ureinwohner der Arktis, ist die passende Kleidung in der extremen Kälte überlebenswichtig. Während der Jagdsaison sind sie oft mehrere Tage lang ununterbrochen in der Eiseskälte unterwegs.

Kleidung aus Tierfell gehört zum unverzichtbaren Bestandteil ihrer Alltagsgarderobe. Ein warmes und schweres Bärenfell ist für langes Verweilen in der Kälte geeignet, wenn sich der Jäger während des Lauerns auf Beute nicht bewegen sollte.
Robbenfell hingegen ist extrem wasserdicht. Damit können die Inuit sogar kurze Zeit im eiskalten Wasser überleben. Rentierfell ist warm und leicht. Es hat sich deshalb bei ausgedehnten Wanderungen jahrhundertelang bewährt.
Natürlich kleiden sich die Inuit heutzutage auch mit modernen Textilien. Aber immer noch kommen Kleidungsstücke aus Hightech-Kunstfaser, mit ihren dünnen, leichten und kälteresistenten Stoffen, nicht an die hervorragenden Eigenschaften der traditionellen Inuit-Kleidung heran.

HE  was  creating  all  things !  An  elder  gave  us  a  nice similar  example  to  the  penguins  -  'We  and  the  Congregation'....   always  try  being  in  the  middle  of  ALL    then  we're  more  safer  and  warm  with  love  etc.  -  More  outside  we're  feeling  the  cold  of  the  bad  system...

Refugees / Escapees....
In the days of Jesus, innocent people were driven out for reasons beyond their control. (Matthew 2: 13-15) The same is true today. As global conditions continue to deteriorate, many people are forced to live as refugees, living in other countries in search of peace and a better life for them and their families. (Ecclesiastes 9:11, Matthew 24: 6-8, 2 Timothy 3: 1) How can your church participate in the provision of spiritual help and comfort to the displaced? - Deut. 10: 17-19.
It is important that we adopt an organized approach to Jehovah's imitation by providing assistance and comfort to the displaced. (1 Corinthians 14:33, 2 Corinthians 1: 3, 4) We trust in the lavish blessings of the Lord in his efforts to share the good new ones with the refugees who have firsthand effects of these critical days (2 Tim. 1.)

FLÜCHTLINGE....... 
In den Tagen Jesu wurden unschuldige Menschen aus Gründen vertrieben, die ihrer Kontrolle entkommen waren. (Matthäus 2: 13-15) das gleiche gilt heute. Da sich die globalen Bedingungen weiter verschlechtern, sind viele Menschen gezwungen, als Flüchtlinge zu Leben, in anderen Ländern auf der Suche nach Frieden und einem besseren Leben für sie und ihre Familien zu leben. (Prediger 9:11; Matthäus 24: 6-8; 2 Timotheus 3: 1) wie kann ihre Gemeinde an der Bereitstellung von geistiger Hilfe und Trost für Vertriebene teilnehmen? - Deut. 10: 17-19.
Es ist wichtig, dass wir zur Nachahmung Jehovas einen organisierten Ansatz annehmen, indem wir den Vertriebenen Beistand und Trost gewähren. (1 Korinther 14:33, 2 Korinther 1: 3, 4)  wir vertrauen auf den üppigen Segen des Herrn in seinen Bemühungen, die guten neuen mit den Flüchtlingen zu teilen, die aus erster Hand Auswirkungen dieser kritischen Tage (2 Tim. 3: 1.)

Aunque hacer lo que Jehová dice puede ser difícil, se obtienen excelentes resultados. Además, Satanás está atacando a las familias. Por eso, es importantísimo que los matrimonios cristianos estén más unidos que nunca. No importa cuánto tiempo llevemos casados, detengámonos a pensar en maneras de hacer más fuerte nuestro matrimonio. Las parejas con más experiencia pueden ayudar a los que llevan menos tiempo casados. Podrían invitar de vez en cuando a un matrimonio joven a su Noche de Adoración en Familia. Así podrán mostrarles que las parejas deben ser cariñosas y permanecer unidas sin importar cuánto tiempo lleven juntas (Tito 2:3-7). w16.03 3:14, 15

¿Eres joven y estás pensando en bautizarte? ¡Qué bien! Ese es el mayor honor que pueden recibir los seres humanos, pero también es un paso muy serio. Es una manera de decirle a todo el mundo que te has dedicado a Jehová, o sea, que le has prometido ser su siervo para siempre y que lo más importante en tu vida será hacer su voluntad. Por eso, antes de dar ese paso, debes asegurarte de que eres lo suficientemente maduro, de que realmente quieres bautizarte y de que entiendes lo que significa la dedicación. Ahora bien, ¿qué puedes hacer si no estás seguro de que estás listo para bautizarte? ¿O qué hay si quieres bautizarte, pero tus padres creen que deberías esperar hasta crecer un poco más? No te desanimes; aprovecha el tiempo para seguir madurando y así pronto podrás bautizarte. w16.03 2:1, 2

Some now serving God were married when they learned the truth, and their mate is not a Witness. Still, applying Bible principles can contribute to harmony in the family. That involves cooperating to the greatest extent possible without compromising. This may be challenging, but think of the possible reward. Also, in view of Satan’s attack on the family today, it is vital for all of God’s servants to maintain good cooperation in their marriage. No matter how long you have been married, give thought to what you personally can say or do to strengthen your marriage. Older ones can even assist younger members of the congregation in this regard. You might on occasion invite a younger couple to your home to share in family worship with you and your mate. While the younger ones are with you, they can observe that affection and harmony are important no matter how long one has been married.—Titus 2:3-7. w16.03 3:14, 15

Are you a young person who is considering baptism? If so, what lies before you is the greatest privilege any human could have. However, baptism is a serious step. It symbolizes your dedication—a solemn promise you make to Jehovah that you will serve him forever by putting his will above everything else in your life. Understandably, you should get baptized only when you are qualified to make that decision, you have a personal desire to do so, and you understand the meaning of dedication. What if you are not sure that you are ready for baptism? Or what if you want to get baptized but your parents feel that you should wait, perhaps until you gain more experience in Christian living? In either case, do not be discouraged. Instead, use this opportunity to make progress so that, before long, you can get baptized. w16.03 2:1, 2
