Das Trinkgeld....
Eine alte Dame setzt sich in ein Café. Die Kellnerin bringt ihr die Menü-Karte und fragt nach, was sie denn bestellen möchte.
Die alte Dame fragt,   „Wie teuer ist bei ihnen ein Stück von der Torte“?
Die Kellnerin antwortet  „3 Euro“ !
Die gebrechliche alte Dame holt einige Münzen aus ihrer Tasche und beginnt langsam zu zählen. Dann fragt sie wieder,  „Und wie teuer ist bei ihnen ein einfaches Stück Kuchen?“
Die Kellnerin war etwas gestresst, da sie ja noch viele Tische bedienen musste und antwortete sehr ungeduldig:  „2 Euro“ !

„Das ist gut,  dann nehme ich gerne den einfachen Kuchen", antwortete die alte Dame.
Die Kellnerin brachte ihr genervt den Kuchen und legte gleich die Rechnung hin. „Immer diese geizigen Leute“, murmelte sie leise vor sich hin.
Die alte Dame aß ganz langsam und genussvoll den Kuchen, stand langsam auf, legte das Geld auf den Tisch und ging.
Als die Kellnerin nun den Tisch aufräumen wollte, stellte sie fest, dass die alte zerbrechliche Dame ihr 1 Euro Trinkgeld hingelegt hat.
Sie bekam vor Rührung Tränen in die Augen. Aber es war zu spät um sich bei der alten Dame zu entschuldigen. Sie begriff schmerzhaft und sich schrecklich mies fühlend, dass die alte Dame sich mit einem einfachen Stück Kuchen begnügte, um der Kellnerin Trinkgeld zu schenken!

Diese rührende Geschichte zeigt uns deutlich, dass wir nicht vorschnell urteilen dürfen !  Denn bevor Du über jemanden urteilst, schau hinter seine Mauern. Erkenne seine Ängste und Sorgen. Dann wirst Du sehen, wie zerbrechlich der Mensch hinter der Maske ist...

THE  OLD  SHOE - BOX ❤
 A man and woman had been married for more than 60 years. They had shared everything. They had talked about everything. They had kept no secrets from each other except that the little old woman had a shoe box  in the top of her closet that she had cautioned her husband never to open or ask her about.
For all of these years, he had never thought about the box, but one day the little old woman got very sick and the doctor said she would not recover.
In trying to sort out their affairs, the little old man took down the shoe box and took it to his wife's bedside. She agreed that it was time that he should know what was in the box. When he opened it, he found two crocheted dolls and a stack of money totalling  $ 95,000.
He asked her about the contents.
'When we were to be married,' she said, ' my grandmother told me the secret of a happy marriage was to never argue. She told me, that if I ever got angry with you, I should just keep quiet and crochet a doll.'
The little old man was so moved;  he had to fight back tears....
Only two Precious dolls were in the box. She had only been angry with him two Times in all those years of living and loving. He almost burst with Happiness.

Pray  Until  Something  Happens !    P U S H.....
A man was sleeping one night in his cabin when suddenly his room filled with light, and God appeared.
The Lord told the man he had work for him to do, and showed him a large rock in front of his cabin. The Lord explained that the man was to push against the rock with all his might. So, this the man did, day after day.
For many years he toiled from sun up to sun down, his shoulders set squarely against the cold, massive surface of the unmoving rock, pushing with all of his might. Each night the man returned to his cabin sore and worn out, feeling that his whole day had been spent in vain.
Since the man was showing discouragement, the Adversary (Satan) decided to enter the picture by placing thoughts into his weary mind:
"You have been pushing against that rock for a long time, and it hasn't moved."
Thus, he gave the man the impression that the task was impossible and that he was a failure. These thoughts discouraged and disheartened the man. Satan said,
"Why kill yourself over this? Just put in your time, giving just the minimum effort; and that will be good enough."
That's what the weary man planned to do, but decided to make it a matter of prayer and to take his troubled thoughts to the Lord.
"Lord," he said, "I have labored long and hard in your service, putting all my strength to do that which you have asked. Yet, after all this time, I have not even budged that rock by half a millimeter. What is wrong? Why am I failing?"
The Lord responded compassionately,
"My friend, when I asked you to serve Me and you accepted, I told you that your task was to push against the rock with all of your strength, which you have done. Never once did I mention to you that I expected you to move it. Your task was to push. And now you come to Me with your strength spent, thinking that you have failed. But, is that really so? Look at yourself. Your arms are strong and muscled, your back sinewy and brown; your hands are callused from constant pressure, your legs have become massive and hard. Through opposition you have grown much, and your abilities now surpass that which you used to have. True, you haven't moved the rock. But your calling was to be obedient and to push and to exercise your faith and trust in My wisdom. That you have done.
Now I, my friend, will move the rock."
At times, when we hear a word from God, we tend to use our own intellect to decipher what He wants, when actually what God wants is just simple obedience and faith in Him. By all means, exercise the faith that moves mountains, but know that it is still Jehovah God  who moves the mountains.
When everything seems to go wrong ... just PUSH !
When the job gets you down ... just PUSH !
When people don't react the way you think they should..... just PUSH !
When your money is "gone" and the bills are due ...just PUSH !
When people just don't understand you ... just PUSH !

Mikhalevskaya, director of the school in Tomilino (Moscow region), in the presence of the school psychologist and the head of the guard, formally handed over to the parents of the 8-year-old student a document in which, referring to the decision of the Supreme Court against Jehovah's Witnesses, Notified about the ban on the school grounds "all actions that do not relate to the educational process." Wrong  Expectations
A teacher teaching Maths to seven-year-old Laiq asked him, “If I give you one apple and one apple and one apple, how many apples will you have?”
Within a few seconds Laiq replied confidently,  “Four !”

The dismayed teacher was expecting an effortless correct answer, three. She was disappointed. “Maybe the child did not listen properly.” – she thought.
She repeated, “Laiq, listen carefully.  If I give you one apple and one apple and one apple, how  many apples will you have?”
Laiq had seen the disappointment on his teacher’s face. He calculated again on his fingers. But within him he was also searching for the answer that will make the teacher happy. His search for the answer was not for the correct one, but the one that will make his teacher happy.
This time hesitatingly he replied, “Four.”
The disappointment stayed on the teacher’s face. She remembered that Laiq liked strawberries.
She thought maybe he doesn’t like apples and that is making him loose focus.
This time with an exaggerated excitement and twinkling in her eyes she asked, “If I give you one strawberry and one strawberry and one strawberry, then how many you will have?”
Seeing the teacher happy, young Laiq calculated on his fingers again. There was no pressure on him, but a little on the teacher. She wanted her new approach to succeed.
With a hesitating smile young Laiq replied, “Three?”

When someone gives you an answer that is different from what you expect,  don’t  think, they are wrong. There shall be an angle that you may not have thought about yet.

Zo super gaaf. Ben hem al aan het lezen. Net een goed boek zo makkelijk leest het. Je begrijpt veel beter wat er staat. Kijk maar eens naar hooglied. ??
