I  often  give  alot  time  for  others....   but  by  my  doings,  I  rare  look  on  my  clock !  Please  tell  me, my  Brothers  and  Sisters,  when  we  have  to  stop  helping.....   When  we  have  to  look  to  ourselve ?  Its  not  so  easy  I  think !  Tell  me  your  experiences  and  some  tips / advises  -  thank  you !  Agape ❤

Why did Jesus use the word “debts,” whereas on a later occasion, he spoke of “sins”? (Matt. 6:12; Luke 11:4) Over 60 years ago, The Watchtower nicely explained: “A sin of transgression against God’s law puts us in debt to him. . . . For our sin God could demand and exact our lives. . . . He could withdraw his peace from us, breaking off all peaceful relations with us. . . . We owe him love, expressed in obedience; and when we sin we fail in paying our debt of love to him, for sin is unloving toward God.” (1 John 5:3) Our daily need for forgiveness highlights the only legal basis on which God can cancel our sins—Jesus’ ransom sacrifice. Though this ransom was paid nearly 2,000 years ago, we should cherish it as if it were a gift given today. “The ransom price” for our lives “is so precious” that nothing any imperfect human could do for us would come near to paying it.—Ps. 49:7-9; 1 Pet. 1:18, 19. w15 6/15 5:9, 10
 

Plymouth / Devon UK. The town's coat of arms over the portal of the town hall of Plymouth is to this day the only city in the world, whose town crest contains the divine name Jehovah. The inscription of the coat of arms is: TURRIS FORTISSIMA EST NOMEN JEHOVA These are the words from the Bible Book of Proverbs chapter 18 verse 10a: "The name of Jehovah is a strong tower" The selection of this verse as a city motto fell in the time of the English Civil War 1642 to 1646 Plymouth was conquering by the royal troops for two years. When the city was on the brink of conquest, it was a natural wonder that helped the defenders. An unprecedented flood caused the water level in a shifted river arm of the Plym to rise so that an allied ship could hit the enemy into flight. This miracle of nature was seen as an act of rescue of Jehovah, to which help had also been sought. Out of gratitude the Bible verse from  Prov. 18.10,  was inserted into the STADT-WAPPEN.....

Dlaczego Jezus użył słowa „winy” [dosłownie: „długi”], skoro przy innej okazji wspomniał o „grzechach”? (Mat. 6:12, zob. Grecko-polski Nowy Testament, wydanie interlinearne z kodami gramatycznymi; Łuk. 11:4). Ponad 60 lat temu na łamach czasopisma Strażnica wyjaśniono: „Przez grzech przekroczenia prawa Bożego zadłużamy się wobec Boga. (...) Za nasze grzechy Bóg mógłby żądać naszego życia i odebrać je nam (...). Mógłby nam zabrać swój pokój, zrywając z nami wszystkie pokojowe stosunki. (...) Dłużni Mu jesteśmy miłość, która się wyraża w posłuszeństwie; a gdy grzeszymy, omieszkamy spłacić Mu swój dług miłości, bo grzech jest brakiem miłości względem Boga” (1 Jana 5:3). Origin/meaning
The arms were officially recorded in 1620. Following the addition of the two neighbouring towns of East Stonehouse and Devonport in 1914, and the elevation to a City in 1928, a crest and supporters were added to the historic arms in 1931.
The arms show a saltire for St. Andrew, patron saint of Plymouth, between four towers for the town's fortifications. This shield was sometimes shown suported by two gold lions, but they were never officially granted.
The crest is for Devonport. It consists of a Naval Crown, from which rises an English lion's paw grasping an anchor. Devonport contained the most important Royal Naval Dockyard of the then British Empire.
The supporters recall the gold lions unofficially used in previous years. They are differenced by being made regarduant and having naval crowns around their necks. From the crowns hang roundels with a boar's head for the Mount Edgcumbe family, who were closely associated with the town of East Stonehouse.
The motto is TURRIS FORTISSIMA EST NOMEN JEHOVAH or The Name of the Lord is the Strongest Tower. Aside from the biblical reference the motto echoes the towers in the arms.

Do not confuse “duty” with what other people expect of you; they are utterly different. Duty is a debt you owe yourself to fulfill obligations you have assumed voluntarily. Paying that debt can entail anything from years of patient work to instant willingness to die. Difficult it may be, but the reward is self-respect. But there is no reward at all for doing what other people expect of you, and to do so is not merely difficult, but impossible. It is easier to deal with a footpad than it is with the leech who wants “just a few minutes of your time, please--this won’t take long.” Time is your total capital, and the minutes of your life are painfully few. If you allow yourself to fall into the vice of agreeing to such requests, they quickly snowball to the point where these parasites will use up 100 percent of your time--and squawk for more! So learn to say No--and to be rude about it when necessary. Otherwise you will not have time to carry out your duty, or to do your own work, and certainly no time for love and happiness. The termites will nibble away your life and leave none of it for you. (This rule does not mean that you must not do a favor for a friend, or even a stranger. But let the choice be yours. Don’t do it because it is “expected” of you.)
Beware of altruism. It is based on self-deception, the root of all evil.
If tempted by something that feels “altruistic” examine your motives and root out that self-deception. Then, if you still want to do it, wallow in it!
You live and learn or you don’t live long.

Nice bit of trivia about another place where the divine name appears. Looks like a natural conversation starter for the friends in that town.
