    Matt. 24 : 19 - 22
. 19 Woe to the pregnant women and those nursing a baby in those days! 20 Keep praying that your flight may not occur in wintertime nor on the Sabbath day; 21 for then there will be great tribulation such as has not occurred since the world’s beginning until now, no, nor will occur again. 22 In fact, unless those days were cut short, no flesh would be saved; but on account of the chosen ones those days will be cut short.

    MEMORIAL
    Memorial of Jesus’ Death....
We warmly invite you to attend the annual Memorial of Jesus’ death with us on Tuesday, April 11, 2017   A free Bible-based talk will explain how Jesus’ death can benefit you and your family.
    Peace, Health, and Prosperity—Everyone’s Dream!
Centuries ago, a divinely inspired prophet foretold the time when man would be at peace with nature. Illness would be eliminated. Families would build their own houses, plant their own fields, and enjoy the fruits of their labors.—Isaiah 11:6-9; 35:5, 6; 65:21-23.
Jesus performed powerful works that showed on a small scale how such prophecies will become a global reality. His death was fundamental to the future elimination of every cause for sorrow. So important was Jesus’ death to the fulfillment of God’s purposes that Jesus commanded his disciples to commemorate it.—Luke 22:19, 20.
This year, according to the Bible’s lunar calendar, the anniversary of Jesus’ death falls on Tuesday, April 11. Jehovah’s Witnesses invite you to meet with them on that date to listen to an explanation of how his death can benefit you and your family.

Jehovah gave his only-begotten Son as a ransom for us ❤

Getting to know Jehovah is one way to show that you appreciate his gift of the ransom...
HOW CAN YOU SHOW YOUR APPRECIATION?
18 Why should we be deeply grateful to Jehovah for the ransom? Well, a gift is especially precious when it involves a sacrifice of time, effort, or expense on the part of the giver. Our heart is touched when we see that a gift is an expression of the giver’s genuine love for us. The ransom is the most precious of all gifts, for God made the greatest sacrifice ever in providing it. “God loved  the world so much that he gave his only-begotten Son,” says John 3:16. The ransom is the most outstanding evidence of Jehovah’s love for us. It is also proof of Jesus’ love, for he willingly gave his life in our behalf. (Read John 15:13.) The gift of the ransom should therefore convince us that Jehovah and his Son love us as individuals.—Galatians 2:20.
19 How, then, can you demonstrate that you appreciate God’s gift of the ransom? To begin with, get to know the Great Giver, Jehovah. (John 17:3) A study of the Bible with the aid of this publication will help you to do that. As you come to know Jehovah, your love for him will deepen. In turn, that love will make you want to please him.—1 John 5:3.
20 Exercise faith in Jesus’ ransom sacrifice. Regarding Jesus, it is said: “The one who exercises faith in the Son has everlasting life.” (John 3:36) How can we exercise faith in Jesus? Such faith is not shown by words alone. “Faith without works is dead,” says James 2:26. Yes, true faith is proved by “works,” that is, by our actions. One way to show that we have faith in Jesus is by doing our best to imitate him not just in what we say but also in what we do.—John 13:15.
21 Attend the annual observance of the Lord’s Evening Meal. On the evening of Nisan 14, 33 C.E., Jesus introduced a special observance that the Bible calls “the Lord’s Evening Meal.” (1 Corinthians 11:20; Matthew 26:26-28) This observance is also called the Memorial of Christ’s death. Jesus instituted it to help his apostles and  all true Christians after them to bear in mind that by means of his death as a perfect human, he gave his life, or soul, as a ransom. Regarding this observance, Jesus commanded: “Keep doing this in remembrance of me.” (Luke 22:19) Observing the Memorial reminds us of the great love shown by both Jehovah and Jesus in connection with the ransom. We can show our appreciation for the ransom by being present at the yearly observance of the Memorial of Jesus’ death. *
22 Jehovah’s provision of the ransom is indeed an invaluable gift. (2 Corinthians 9:14, 15) This priceless gift can benefit even those who have died. Chapters 6 and 7 will explain how.

    God is love.—1 John 4:16.
    http://wol.jw.org/en/wol/dt/r1/lp-e/2017/3/20
Imagine what life would be like if God did not have love for mankind. We merely have to look at the awful history of this world with its human rulerships under its unloving and wrathful god, Satan the Devil. (2 Cor. 4:4; 1 John 5:19; Rev. 12:9, 12) This shows us how horrible the future would be if the universe were to function without the operation of God’s love. When rebelling against Jehovah’s rule, the Devil challenged the rightfulness and righteousness of God’s universal sovereignty. In effect, Satan claimed that his rule would be better than that of the Creator. (Gen. 3:1-5) Though Jehovah permitted Satan to try to prove his side of the issue, such permission was temporary. In his great wisdom, Jehovah has allowed enough time to pass to expose very clearly the inadequacy of any rule other than his. The miserable record of mankind shows that neither humans nor Satan can provide what we need in the way of good rulership. w15 11/15 3:3, 4

Train Your Child to Serve Jehovah
All those for whom I have affection, I reprove and discipline.—Rev. 3:19.
    http://wol.jw.org/en/wol/dt/r1/lp-e/2017/3/19
Although Jesus’ disciples repeatedly argued about who was the greatest among them, Jesus did not give up on them. He also did not ignore it when they failed to respond to his counsel. Lovingly and mildly, Jesus reproved them at a suitable time and place. (Mark 9:33-37) Show your love for your children by disciplining them. It is sometimes enough to explain why a certain course is right or wrong. At other times, a child may fail to apply what you say. (Prov. 22:15) When that happens, imitate Jesus. At a fitting time and place, discipline your child lovingly and mildly through patient guidance, training, and correction. “My parents never disciplined me in anger or without explaining why I was being disciplined,” says Elaine, a sister in South Africa. “As a result, I felt secure. I knew my boundaries, and I understood what was required of me.” w15 11/15 1:5, 6

Queen Esther got a reaction from Blanchie DeGrate in HEART TRANSPLANTATION IN JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES... Story, Denton Cooley – Heart Surgeon Legend ! scroll down...
    HEART TRANSPLANTATION IN JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES.....
According to Organ Procurement and Transplantation, only about 2,600 donor hearts are available each year. At any given time, about 4,000 people are on the waiting list for a heart transplant.
In the past, people with religious objections to blood transfusions refused this and other resuscitation procedures. But for many, surgery is now possible without conflict with faith.
Raoul Gibson, 35, received the heart of a donor at Duke Hospital on the last Valentine's Day. Normally, he would have had to refuse the transplant to save lives, due to a certain principle of his Jehovah's Witnesses faith.
"The fact that I was not going to accept blood, blood transfusions, or any whole blood product," Gibson said.
Ten years ago, Duke started his Center for Blood Conservation. They developed a process for any surgery involving transfusions to control bleeding. Dr. Mani Daneshmand said that they worked closely with representatives of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Gibson was hospitalized for more than a month, receiving a natural hormone to stimulate the production of red blood cells.
Later they are allowed to remove some of their blood, yet they remain true to a key principle.
"We actually keep the blood in continuity with its own blood, but we remove it so the blood can not bleed," Daneshmand said.
That more concentrated blood is replaced with other non-blood fluids, so a little bleeding will not present problems.
There is also a "cell protector" device.
"So any blood that is lost is absorbed immediately by that apparatus and returned to the bloodstream," Daneshmand said.
"They wash all the organs before they put them on me, so they would not be exposed to blood," Gibson said.
Gibson said he is anxious to return home and enjoy a more normal life.
"I'm looking forward to seeing how my new heart feels and how I'm going to be able to do new things," Gibson said.

Happy are the pure in heart, since they will see God.—Matt. 5:8.
    http://wol.jw.org/en/wol/dt/r1/lp-e/2017/3/17
How might we see Jehovah’s hand in our lives? Consider: Perhaps you feel that the way you received the truth was clearly at God’s direction. Have you ever attended Christian meetings, heard a part, and said: “That was just what I needed”? Or you may have experienced an answer to a prayer. Maybe you decided to expand your ministry and were amazed at how Jehovah helped to work things out for you. Or have you ever experienced leaving a job for spiritual reasons and then seen the truth of God’s promise: “I will never abandon you”? (Heb. 13:5) By being spiritually alert and “pure in heart,” we can discern how Jehovah has helped us in many ways. How can we be “pure in heart”? We must be clean on the inside and stop any wrong conduct. (2 Cor. 4:2) As we cultivate stronger spirituality and manifest upright conduct, we put ourselves among those who can see God. w15 10/15 1:17, 19
