Queen Esther reacted to Bible Speaks in ? Keep Your Fire Burning Bright In Your Heart ?
Nothing Can “Separate Us From God’s Love” Keep your "fire burning bright in your heart!"
Satan is eager for us to believe that Jehovah God neither loves us nor values us. True, Satan often seduces people by appealing to their vanity and pride. (2 Corinthians 11:3) But he also delights in crushing the self-respect of vulnerable ones. (John 7:47-49; 8:13, 44)
This is particularly so in these critical “last days.” Many today grow up in families where there is “no natural affection.” Others are constantly exposed to those who are fierce, selfish, and headstrong. (2 Timothy 3:1-5)
Years of being subjected to ill-treatment, racism, or hatred may have convinced such ones that they are worthless or unlovable.
Jehovah also values our endurance. (Matthew 24:13)
Remember, Satan wants you to turn your back on Jehovah. Each day that you remain loyal to Jehovah is another day that you have helped to furnish a reply to Satan’s taunts. (Proverbs 27:11)
Sometimes endurance is no easy matter. Health problems, financial woes, emotionaldistress, and other obstacles can make each passing day a trial. Postponed expectations can prove discouraging too. (Proverbs 13:12)
Endurance in the face of such challenges is all the more precious to Jehovah. That is why King David asked Jehovah to store up his tears in a “skin bottle,” adding confidently: “Are they not in your book?” (Psalm 56:8)
Yes, Jehovah treasures up and remembers all the tears and suffering we endure while maintaining our loyalty to him. They too are precious in his eyes.
Jehovah searches through us, he carefully sifts, looking for the good.
What about your good qualities and works? Ah, these are the “nuggets” he keeps! Have you ever noticed the way fond parents treasure their children’s drawings or school projects, sometimes for decades after the children have forgotten them?
Jehovah is the fondest Parent. As long as we remain faithful to him, he never forgets our good works and qualities. In fact, he would view it as unrighteous to forget these, and he is never unrighteous. (Hebrews 6:10)
He also sifts us in another way.
“With a love to time indefinite I have loved you. That is why I have drawn you with loving-kindness.”—Jeremiah 31:3.
Perhaps it is through the privilege of prayer that we experience Jehovah’s love in the most intimate way. The Bible invites each of us to “pray incessantly” to God. (1 Thessalonians 5:17) He listens. He is even called the “Hearer of prayer.” (Psalm 65:2)
He has not delegated this office to anyone else, not even to his own Son. Just think: The Creator of the universe urges us to approach him in prayer, with freeness of speech. And what kind of listener is he? Cold, impassive, uncaring? Not at all.
Jehovah is empathetic. What is empathy? One faithful elderly Christian said: “Empathy is your pain in my heart.” Is Jehovah really affected by our pain? We read regarding the sufferings of his people Israel: “During all their distress it was distressing to him.” (Isaiah 63:9)
Not only did Jehovah see their troubles; he felt for the people. Just how intensely he feels is illustrated by Jehovah’s own words to his servants: “He that is touching you is touching my eyeball.”*(Zechariah 2:8) How painful that would be! Yes, Jehovah feels for us. When we hurt, he hurts.
Is Jehovah’s message close to my heart like “a burning fire shut up in my bones,” moving me to share in the Kingdom-preaching and disciple-making work? (Jeremiah 20:9; Matthew 28:19, 20)

......We read regarding the sufferings of his people Israel: “During all their distress it was distressing to him.” (Isaiah 63:9)........
When we consider the ancient Nation of Israel, it certainly shows us how forgiving Jehovah can be, they must have really caused him grief. Here they were, they had witnessed the ten plagues, they were delivered from the hands of the Egyptians, they were part of the miracle of crossing the red Sea..........they had been part of all that and only a short time after they convinced Aaron to build a golden calf that they could worship...........in a question from readers in the WT it made the point: "Moses thereafter told the people: “You have sinned with a great sin.”" (Ex. 32:30) Thus, Aaron was not the only one who bore a measure of guilt for the wrongdoing. Both he and the people benefited from Jehovah’s great mercy.".........Aaron caved into the pressure of those that wanted the golden calf
That was only one example........we know there are many more that show us that they just did not want to listen to the creator most of the time (Ex 34:8, 9; Ne 9:16, 17; Jeremiah 7:21-26; Ezekiel 3:7) and through all this Jehovah showed them love, patience and long suffering (just to mention a couple of Jehovah's attributes)..............What a marvellous God we worship.

    Dear reader!
The author of this book, Hans-Peter Marquardt, died after a long and serious illness on November 14th, 2011. This book was his last major project. He worked on it with great passion until the very end.
    The family

    Profile of the Author
Mr. Marquardt was born on June 7, 1943 in a barrack of the air base in Kamp in Pomerania. His father was based there; he had to fly the supply-flights for the German government. In 1945 his mother and her four children were able to flee from Stralsund to Copenhagen on a hospital ship of the navy. They were resettled in a German refugee camp in Lingen/ Ems in 1947. Here, Mr. Marquardt grew up and was trained to be a machinist and building fitter (1957-1960). After 1962 he moved to Berlin. There he worked in the production of passenger coaches of rail vehicles. He had to install the train lighting. During this work he came into close contact with asbestos - a fact that led to a dreadful lung disease forty years later.
In 1972 his life changed; he started working at the PTB (Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt) - the German Federal Physics Institute. There he worked in the sector of scientific-technical infrastructure until his retirement in 2008.
In 1975, he read the article “Der Name Gottes im deutschen Sprachgebrauch kein Geheimnis“ (“The name of God in the German use of language – no secret”) in a magazine. This interesting article influenced his later work. Two rain-swept family vacations in the Allgaeu (a southern German region in Swabia) led to the decision to visit all churches in the area and to look for the name of God there. Soon the family discovered the joy of this activity. So the next vacations were planned in order to visit new areas and countries. All discoveries of the name of God were filmed, photographed and documented. Until 1980, Mr. Marquardt produced three color films which were presented in the Berlin area about one hundred times.
A friend offered him a Nuremberg Jehovahthaler in 1978, and he was astonished to find the name of God even on such an object. So he decided on an impulse to visit the Germanic National Museum in Nuremberg in order to investigate whether there are more of these coins. He was very pleased to find more of them there. In 1987, he already possessed four own Jehovahthaler, and an article in the numismatic journal “Mu¨nzen Revue” from February 1987 about the topic “Symbolic depictions of God on European coins and medals” caught his attention. A short time later, the “General Encyclopedia of Sciences and Arts”, written by Ersch and Gruber in 1838 (German title: “Allgemeine Enzyklopädie der Wissenschaften und Ku¨nste von Ersch und Gruber“), fell into his hands. Then he realized that the so-called Jehovahthaler was an own category of coins and that there has to be a larger number of coins and medals of that kind.
Now he was infected by a virus. Mr. Marquardt wanted to find out more. Yet he tried to find out everything about these coins. How did the name of God find its way into numismatics and onto coins and medals? Did that happen just for reasons of propaganda or was there a certain religiousness of the rulers behind it? Why and how did the name disappear later? The attempt to find the answers to these questions determined all his activities. This, in turn, had a positive effect on his whole family. Everybody tries to support him in some way or other down to the present day.
If you want to attribute the competence to write a book about the name of God on coins, medals, or other objects, you have to mention Mr. Marquardt foremost. He has been travelling across Europe with international directories for 35 years, and in spite of his serious illness he still undertook four journeys abroad last year. He studied the numismatic literature for more than 20 years and visited the numismatic collections in Bern, Harlem, Nuremberg, Berlin, Copenhagen, Uppsala and Gdansk. His own picture library currently comprises about 5,000 photographs. He could write down only a part of his extensive expert knowledge in this book.
The Name Jehovah at the Time of the European Reformation"
    – documentation and illustrated book –
The new book is the only one in the English numismatic literature dealing with this topic. It is based on the translation of the German book “God´s Name on Coins, Talers and Medals” (see above), which has been published in December 2004. That book deals especially with the German-speaking countries in Europe. The author used the last five years to carry out investigations in other European counties and a lot of new material came to light. The importance of the single countries had to be arranged in a completely new way. Now each county is dealt with in detail according to its importance. Poland and its free Hanseatic City Gdansk has been added. The reader can be pleased about the fact that he can find more than twice as many coins, medals and other objects and buildings bearing the name of God within this fantastic and unique illustrated book. The book consists of 842 pages. There are 676 illustrations which are throughout in color. The price is 25.00 € plus shipping costs. This book is only available in English.
God's Name on Coins, Talers and Medals"
This book tells the story of the Jehovah coins and –medals from their first appearance in the 16th century until their displacement in the 18th century. It shows coins and medals from the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Poland (Danzig) and Germany which carry the name Jehovah in various forms. The story of this epoch is brought to life by a series of exciting articles, which convey much background information.
Coins always have been more than merely currency. For example, theological characteristics began to be coined in the Middle Ages. Until now Jehovah talers and – medals have hardly been researched in the numismatics, the science of coins. This book wants to prove that these prints reflect the outstanding time of European history: the reformation. This time refers back to the 16th century of Europe. It was one of the most dynamic epochs of that time.
The author, who has been active in the research of numismatics since two decades, takes his readers on a voyage that is exciting as well as informative.
Between the 16th and 18th century these coins shaped the political and religious scenery of Europe and reached beyond it`s time.
The book consists of 205 pages. There are 126 illustrations which are throughout in color. The price is 15.00 € plus shipping costs. This book is only available in German.

Pride can disrupt the peace of a congregation. Deep-seated feelings of animosity and superiority can affect our speech and actions, causing untold pain to others. (Prov. 12:18) If we personally have a tendency to feel superior to others, we need to remember that “everyone proud in heart is detestable to Jehovah.” (Prov. 16:5) We would also do well to examine our view of those who belong to another race, nationality, or culture. If we harbor feelings of racial or national pride, we ignore the fact that God “made out of one man every nation of men.” (Acts 17:26) In that sense, there is just one race because all mankind has a common ancestor, Adam. Therefore, how absurd it is to believe that some races are inherently superior or inferior. Such thinking would suit Satan’s scheme to disrupt our Christian love and unity. (John 13:35) To fight Satan and win, we must resist all forms of improper pride.—Prov. 16:18. w15 5/15 2:8, 9

Queen Esther reacted to Arauna in Caption this photo for me please
I am not writing this to cause a debate - I'm actually tired of people who have the education to gather a lot of  'information' but have not learnt to think about all sides of an issue and put it in perspective.  They become stuck on the information and then they judge everything on this one-sided information and become belligerent.
    1.  Sexual abuse of children is in every organization on earth - wherever there are children. This is why we see government institutions intermittently in the media where children were found to have been abused - the tip of the iceberg - even though the perpetrators know the penalty if caught .  This practice is insidious and 'hidden' and it is hard to pinpoint and it is prevalent amongst  ALL levels of society - judges, doctors, policemen, gardeners. People can also be falsely accused - but one should always act to protect the child.
    2. People who react so nasty to religious child abuse (whatever the church or organization) - look back at time with "modern" views. They know that it is not accepted by law -  now - but what about 50 years ago?  Most people do not look at the history of the 'laws' against child abuse.
    3.  Governments are now launching inquiries so they can be seen to be 'doing something about the issue" and trying to understand the issue.  Why only now?  Because decent laws to protect children have only been in place for a relative short period of time - in most first world countries. Children have been suffering for a very long time, long before this overwhelming outcry, cases coming forward, and media attention been given to it in the past 30 years.  Why were governments negligent to bring laws against child sexual abuse for such a long time and why was the media complicit in its silence?
Only 50 years ago - only the first world countries - started to look at this problem.  Before this - society was closed and it was a taboo subject to talk about.  The sixties brought a sexual revolution when people started to talk openly about sex but it took another 15 years before people started to mention this taboo subject in public. I also know that reporters did not write much about the issues regarding this.  Some countries had insufficient laws and procedures which made it impossible to prosecute a child molester.
I was working for a newspaper myself (not an English one) and a case came up where the entire nation was shocked because a child molester had stolen kids and murdered them.  I told my friend, who was a reputable reporter, to use this time of media attention - to bring to the attention of society - that most people could not take a child molester to court because a child could be cross-examined in court.  This meant that even a small child had to become a "victim" a second time by having to face the perpetrator in court and then be cross-examined. Most often a conviction could not be had. The way evidence was collected also did not favor the child.
I know that a law (to protect the child during court proceedings in America) was only ratified as late as 2003.  Consequently - if I were a lawyer in a court case where millions was to be paid out - I will point to finger to the lawmakers (congress) - who were supposed to be the protectors of its people.   If there were not proper laws in place to get a proper conviction - why would an organization put themselves out there and fight the legal system - whatever the organization?
After all these inquiries (Australia, England) into child abuse and the procedures followed by religious organizations - hopefully these governments will bring in laws to cover the holes still left in the legal system and provide clarity to (religious and other) organizations on proper government procedures to follow when someone is accused of child abuse.
     4.  There are many countries with laws against child abuse - but the age of consent is between 12 - 14 years. Belgium comes to mind (13).  Most pedophiles travel to Thailand and other countries to indulge in pedophilia.  There are many countries across the world with strong laws against child abuse but it is never enforced because child abuse is not viewed as an important issue - they have more pressing problems such as hunger or socio-economic problems.  It is part of daily life in some third world countries.  What this indicates to me is that world-wide organizations, who have children in their midst at any time, have to try to adapt to the many different laws (in many countries - child marriage is still allowed) and cultures regarding this issue.
    5.  We expect religious organizations to have 'higher' standards - but in the past no-one spoke of these things and people did not know how to deal with it....with lawmakers and media complicit.  The Watchtower organization has not been perfect but it has adjusted and put the best possible procedures in place for every country (but it will never be fool-proof, perfect or sufficient).  Child molestation is not an easy crime to determine.  One needs experts to examine each case - and even experts can be fooled.
    6. Religious organizations cannot ban people - so child molesters can attend meetings if they wished.  This is why it is important for brothers and sisters to obey instructions to take their own children to the toilet, to let their children only visit with supervision etc. An unbelieving relative like a grand-father can perpetrate this crime (happened to a friend of mine).   So to sum up - parents are responsible for the safety of those in its family unit - and it has never been easy to intervene in family affairs if the father is the perpetrator. This is why it is better that it becomes the government's responsibility!  It seems that governments are now doing enquiries into the procedures of organizations - so they can put proper laws and procedures in place to take up this responsibility in a proper way -  at last!
In the end - it is only Jehovah who will do the final judging of all people who have lived on earth. He is justice personified and he is the one who sees the things that go on in secret. He promises that all suffering will be done away with under his future government and it will not even come to mind of the victim!
I live in Sweden now (who is in denial of all the rapes going on) and I read recently that a case was thrown out of court - a young woman who was raped by six refugees. The reason: she must have consented. My husband made the comment that even a woman who makes her money by this way of life will not consent to violent sexual actions by 6 different men.... but this is where our world is heading now.  No More justice....

The ARC Report IS NOT GENERALISATION ! ITS FACT - GET THAT INTO YOUR THICK SKULL !
"""Even if these allegations are true, who are you to sit in judgment as if you yourself is clean, perfect, and undefiled?""" Lawdy you are switched off !
The GB of the JW movement sits in judgement of its flock all the time - even to the point of Disfellowshipping victims of child abuse.
You have judge me - How do you know what my relationship with Jehovah is at this time? You don't ! So don't judge me.
And as to "looking for flaws" - SORRY - I have no need to Look! The reports are hitting us in the face these days - its all over the media - [ oh of course the Media is making this all up - Satan's hand in matters .........blah blah fishpaste ! ]
Ann - o - M ......the suffering caused to victims of child abuse is NOT A FUN TOPIC - I will use any form of activism to denounce the JW stance on this and any forum I can access to "put it out there"
You have only to hear the harrowing testimony of Octogenarian victims of the British Abuse Cases perpetrated against vulnerable children who we shipped off to Australia [currently underway in the UK] to realize the damage that this causes.
This forum is used by people who would rather we saw the JW dot Org as this squeaky clean ever so righteous organization that would never harm anyone - "spiritual paradise" WELL ITS NOT LIKE THAT AT ALL.
Now READ THE REPORT and then YOU will be able to judge it and not try to lecture me first !

Queen Esther got a reaction from Blanchie DeGrate in Daily text, Friday, March 3. 2017
The Lord stood near me and infused power into me, so that through me the preaching might be fully accomplished and all the nations might hear it; and I was rescued from the lion’s mouth.—2 Tim. 4:17.

As we, like Paul, busy ourselves in the preaching work, we trust that Jehovah will see to it that all other necessary things “will be added” to us. (Matt. 6:33) As Kingdom preachers, we have been “entrusted with the good news,” and we are considered by Jehovah to be his “fellow workers.” (1 Thess. 2:4; 1 Cor. 3:9) By being as active as possible in God’s work, we will find it easier to wait for relief. Let us, then, use the present time to strengthen our relationship with God. If any situation makes us anxious, use it to draw closer to Jehovah. Yes, by being immersed in God’s Word, by praying continually, and by staying absorbed in spiritual activities, let us trust that Jehovah can and will see us through our present circumstances as well as everything else that lies ahead. w15 4/15 4:17, 18
