So sad these developments.  Lot of prayers to be answered.

I guess we could say something like this and occurrences in Russia could be the thin edge of the wedge..........nothing should really surprise us, after all we are in the final part of the last days.

The Communist Party is carrying out a national campaign against the churches that claim to be Christian. They require that all devotees swear allegiance to the Communist Party. Many of its leaders have been imprisoned. They have demolished some 2,000 crosses and some churches have been demolished.
China joins Russia in the face of Christianity in some of its variants. Both nations have taken action against Babylon the Great and incidentally against Jehovah's Witnesses !

China's governing Communist Party is set to launch a nationwide crackdown on the Christian Church.

The Communist Party has just enacted much tougher laws that criminalise Christians if they do not pledge loyalty to the state.
Chinese President Xi Jinping has warned that all religions now have to become "Chinese" and the new laws will attempt to bring churchgoers and their leaders under party control.
The new laws will put the state firmly in charge, giving the Communist Party the ability to hire and fire church leaders and change religious doctrine to make it more Chinese...
That means churchgoers will have to pledge loyalty to the Communist Party first.
There is good reason to be afraid. Chinese Authorities have already started the crackdown in the Christian heartland in the southern province of Zhejiang.
It's been extensive and brutal. In the past two years they have torn down nearly 2000 crosses and in some cases demolished churches.
Church leaders and their followers have been arrested and imprisoned.
There's also good reason to why the Communist Party is threatened by the Church.
Some say there are 100 million Christians in China — that's more than Communist Party members.
The Chinese Government admits there are about 25 million Christians registered at state-run churches where pastors are appointed by the state and theology approved by the governments Religious Affairs Bureau.

Happy to inform you that I thoroughly enjoyed the Regional Convention held in Cape Town South Africa.  We were 17,350 in attendances and I really appreciate the video, drama's and all the talk.  The drama "Hope We do not see"
was  emotional when Jehovah save Jerusalem. Proverb 3: 5,6  Trust Jehovah with all our heart .

One of the most effective subtle tactics Satan uses is discouragement. The apostle Paul admitted to feeling discouraged at times. Now, why would Paul—a spiritual “giant” who likely was a member of the first-century governing body—call himself a “miserable man”? Paul said that he felt this way because of his imperfections. He really wanted to do what was right, but he felt another force working against him. I really appreciate the time you spend remembering our loved ones who have passed with a simple note. These obituaries and a nice way to show to relatively very few people that their lives were significant and their passing was noted.
I like to see older ones with few family left mentioned. A comfort to the other lonely older ones that people do "see" and count them within the spinning globe.
