I  agree...  not  all  things  belong  to  the  internet !
We  had  today  a  *conference - curcuit*  from  Bethel  to  many  congregations  in  Germany  and  around.  Two  zone - overseers  from  Wallkill  gave  a  talk  and  still  more. The  technology  was  perfect,  but  forbidden,  making  any  private  recordings,  also  make  public,  what  we  have  written  during the  meeting !  Thats  sorry,  but  all  that,  maybe,  has  a  reason....   I  enjoyed  it  very  much  ;o)   Alot  news  we  heard.  Now  they  go  to  another  country  and  then  back  home  into  their  just  different  Bethel - houses.

The cornerstone of a secure marriage is loyalty and submission to the One who instituted marriage. Husbands and wives can include Jehovah in their marriage by following his loving guidance. The Bible says about God’s ancient people: “Your own ears will hear a word behind you saying, ‘This is the way. Walk in it,’ in case you should go to the right or in case you should go to the left.” (Isa. 30:20, 21) Today, couples can “hear” Jehovah’s word by reading God’s Word together. (Ps. 1:1-3) They can further strengthen their marriage by means of a Family Worship program that is both enjoyable and spiritually refreshing. Daily prayer together is also invaluable in building a marriage that can withstand the onslaughts of Satan’s world. When couples work hard to keep God in their marriage by engaging in spiritual activities together, they are bonded to God and to each other in a close and happy union. w15 1/15 3:5, 6

From 1967 to 1971 served in Brooklyn Bethel. In October 1971 married to Susan and entered in the special pioneer service.
From 1979 to 1998 served as circuit overseer.
In April 1998 was called to Brooklyn Bethel.

Προτού ζητήσετε μια Αγία Γραφή στη γλώσσα Μπράιγ από τους Μάρτυρες του Ιεχωβά, βεβαιωθείτε ότι έχετε αρκετό χώρο στη βιβλιοθήκη σας. Ολόκληρη η Μετάφραση Νέου Κόσμου—η οποία είναι διαθέσιμη στην αγγλική, στην ισπανική, στην ιταλική, στην ολλανδική και στην πορτογαλική Μπράιγ—αποτελείται από 18 έως 28 τόμους, οπότε θα χρειαστείτε ράφι τουλάχιστον δύο μέτρων!
Άλλα μέσα με τα οποία ένας τυφλός μπορεί να έχει πρόσβαση στην Αγία Γραφή απαιτούν λιγότερο χώρο από ό,τι η έκδοση με ανάγλυφους χαρακτήρες σε χαρτί. Λόγου χάρη, υπάρχει το ηλεκτρονικό σημειωματάριο Μπράιγ—μια φορητή συσκευή που διαθέτει ακίδες οι οποίες ανασηκώνονται και χαμηλώνουν για να παραγάγουν τους χαρακτήρες Μπράιγ. Με αυτό ο τυφλός μπορεί, όχι μόνο να έχει πρόσβαση στο ηλεκτρονικό κείμενο, αλλά και να κρατήσει σημειώσεις. Επίσης, υπάρχουν προγράμματα ανάγνωσης οθόνης, τα οποία μετατρέπουν το γραπτό κείμενο σε ομιλία. Με αυτά ο τυφλός μπορεί να βρει τα έντυπα και να τα ακούσει.
Επιπλέον, οι Μάρτυρες του Ιεχωβά έχουν αναπτύξει ένα πρόγραμμα υπολογιστών το οποίο μπορεί να μεταγράψει κείμενα πολλών γλωσσών στις αντίστοιχες Μπράιγ. Αυτό γίνεται με τη βοήθεια ενός πίνακα μετατροπής ο οποίος περιέχει το αλφάβητο της κάθε γλώσσας και τους χαρακτήρες Μπράιγ. Κατόπιν, το κείμενο διαμορφώνεται έτσι ώστε να μπορεί να το διαβάσει εύκολα ένας τυφλός. Χάρη σε αυτή την αυτοματοποίηση, τα έντυπα, μεταξύ των οποίων και η Αγία Γραφή, θα μπορούν πλέον να μετατρέπονται σε γραφή Μπράιγ σε όλες σχεδόν τις γλώσσες που έχουν τους ανάλογους χαρακτήρες. Αυτό θα ισχύει και για εκείνες που δεν χρησιμοποιούν το λατινικό αλφάβητο.
Επί 100 και πλέον χρόνια οι Μάρτυρες παράγουν Βιβλικά έντυπα για τους τυφλούς, τα οποία είναι τώρα διαθέσιμα σε 19 γλώσσες. Όσοι τυφλοί ενδιαφέρονται για αυτές τις εκδόσεις μπορούν να τις αποκτήσουν δωρεάν. Οι περισσότεροι όμως κάνουν κάποια συνεισφορά.
Προηγουμένως, όταν κυκλοφορούσε μια νέα έκδοση στις συνελεύσεις των Μαρτύρων, γινόταν ανακοίνωση ότι όσοι ήθελαν εκδόσεις στην Μπράιγ θα μπορούσαν να τις παραγγείλουν αργότερα. Πέρσι, το γραφείο τμήματος των Ηνωμένων Πολιτειών ρώτησε εκ των προτέρων τις εκκλησίες σε ποιες συνελεύσεις θα παρευρίσκονταν τυφλοί και σε ποια μορφή προτιμούσε ο καθένας τους τις νέες εκδόσεις (τυπωμένες, για ηλεκτρονικό σημειωματάριο ή για πρόγραμμα ανάγνωσης οθόνης).
Οι τυπωμένες εκδόσεις στάλθηκαν στις συνελεύσεις στις οποίες παρευρέθηκαν τυφλοί. Έτσι, αυτοί πήραν τις νέες εκδόσεις ταυτόχρονα με τους υπόλοιπους παρόντες. Μία εβδομάδα μετά τη συνέλευση, στάλθηκαν μέσω ηλεκτρονικού ταχυδρομείου οι ηλεκτρονικές εκδόσεις σε όσους τις είχαν παραγγείλει.
Μια τυφλή Μάρτυρας του Ιεχωβά είπε: «Τι υπέροχο προνόμιο ήταν να πάρουμε τα έντυπα μαζί με όλους τους άλλους! Το εδάφιο Ψαλμός 37:4 λέει ότι ο Ιεχωβά θα μας δώσει τα αιτήματα της καρδιάς μας. Αυτό το σαββατοκύριακο είδαμε την υπόσχεσή του να γίνεται πράξη!» Ένας άλλος τυφλός άρχισε να κλαίει και είπε: «Με συγκινεί το προσωπικό ενδιαφέρον της οργάνωσης. Ευχαριστώ τον Ιεχωβά που μας φροντίζει τόσο πολύ!»
Ίσως υπάρχει ήδη μια νέα τεχνική;

Wenn die Israeliten in schwierigen Zeiten zusammenhielten und einander halfen, war Jehova gern bereit, sie zu beschützen. Wir können heute — ob alt oder jung — viel aus den biblischen Beispielen lernen. Sehen wir uns Lot an. Die Situation, in der sich Lot und seine Familie befanden, war sehr bedrohlich. Sodom, die Stadt, in der sie lebten, sollte zerstört werden. Gottes Engel drängten Lot, sich zu beeilen und die Stadt zu verlassen. Er sollte sich in der Berggegend in Sicherheit bringen (1. Mo. 19:12-22). Lot gehorchte. Seine Töchter schlossen sich ihm zwar an, aber andere, die ihnen nahestanden, traurigerweise nicht. Für die jungen Männer, die mit Lots Töchtern verlobt waren, schien der alte Mann „wie einer zu sein, der Scherz treibt“. Das bezahlten sie mit ihrem Leben. Nur Lots Töchter hielten zu ihrem Vater und überlebten zusammen mit ihm. w14 15. 12. 3:5, 6

Four Burning Candles...
In a room there were four candles burning. The ambiance was so soft you could hear them talking.
The first one said, “I am PEACE, however nobody can keep me lit. I believe I will go out.”
It’s flame rapidly diminishes and goes out completely.

The second one says, “I am FAITH. Most of all I am no longer indispensable, so it does not make any sense that I stay lit any longer.”
When it finished talking a breeze softly blew on it putting it out.

Sadly, the third candle spoke in its turn. “I am LOVE. I have not gotten the strength to stay lit. People put me aside and don’t understand my importance. They even forget to love those who are nearest to them.” And waiting no longer it goes out.

Suddenly a child entered the room and saw three candles not burning.
“Why are you not burning you are supposed to stay lit till the end.”
Saying this the child began to cry. Then the fourth candle said, “Don’t be afraid, while I am still burning we can re-light the other candles,
I am HOPE.”
With shining eyes, the child took the candle of Hope and lit the other candles  ;o)
