The first Bible was, "The Scofield Reference Bible 1945.
Although Scofield said 'Jehovah' was the covenant name, he gave credit to it by including it in many places, EG: Page 6, 11 times. Page 7, 18 times. Although out of print, I still use it for references to the King James version. (Authorised Version)

FROM our Watchtower study this week,  a couple of important reminders...
The world we live in today is full of immorality, false worship, and wickedness. People have been influenced by Babylon the Great, the world empire of false religion, which the Bible calls  "A DWELLING PLACE OF DEMONS."   READ Revelation 18:2.
But Jehovah's servants are "like foreigners"  in this world.  As a result, people can see that we are different,  and they often  make fun of us. READ Mark 13:13.
Yet, like Daniel, an outstanding prophet of Jehovah of the tribe of Judah, and the writer of the book bearing his name, let us  also draw close to our God, Jehovah. When we are humble, trust in Jehovah, and obey him....   he will view us as precious too!   ~~~ READ Haggai 2:7.  ~~  Daniel 10:11. ~~

One day, during an evening class for adults, the
psychology Teacher entered the class and told
students, "Lets all play a game!"  "What Game"...
The Teacher asked one of the students to volunteer.
A gentleman,  Peter came forward.
The Teacher asked him to write 30 names of
most important people in his life on blackboard.
Peter write names of his family members,
relatives, friends, his colleagues and his neighbors.
The Teacher told him to erase 3 names that
Peter considered most unimportant. Peter
erased names of his colleagues.
The Teacher again told him to delete 5 more
names. Peter erased his neighbors names.
This went on until there were just four names left
on the blackboard. These were names of his
father, mother, wife, and the only daughter....
The entire class became silence realizing that this
wasn't a game anymore for Peter alone.
Now the Teacher told him to delete two more names.
It was a very difficult choice for Peter. He unwillingly deleted his parents names.
"Please delete one more"  said the Teacher.
Peter became very nervous and with trembling
hands and tears in his eyes, he deleted his daughter name. Peter cried painfully....
The Teacher asked,  "Why your wife Medeline?"
The parents are the ones that nurtured you, and the daughter
is the one you gave birth to??
Total silence the class. Everyone was curious to know his response.
Peter calmly and slowly said, " Jesus said in Matthew 19:5,6;
'A man will leave his father and his mother and he will stick to his wife,
and they will become one flesh.....  What God has yoked together, let no man put apart.'
One day my parents will grows old and die before me.
My daughter may also leave me when she grows
old, for her studies, or business, or marriage to
live with her husband or whatever reason.
The only one who will truly share her entire life with me, is my wife."
All the students stood up and applauded him for sharing this truth of life.
This is true. So always value your life partner, It's not wife but husband as well.
Jehovah has united those two souls and it's on you now to nurture this relationship above all.

THE  LITTLE  BLIND GIRL....
A blind little girl sat on the steps of a building
with a hat by her feet, and a doll in her hands.
She held up a sign which say: "I am blind, please help."
There were only a few coins in the hat.
A man was walking by.  He took a few coins from
his pocket and dropped them into the hat. He
then took the sign,  turned it around,  and wrote
some words. Soon, the hat began to fill up.
A lot more people were giving money to the blind  girl.
That afternoon the man who had changed the
sign came to see how things were. The girl
recognised his footsteps and asked, "Were you the
one who changed my sign this morning?
What did you write?" The man said, "I only wrote the truth.
I said what you said but in a different way.' I wrote:
Today is a beautiful day; but I cannot see it."
Both signs told people that the girl was blind. But
the first sign simply said the girl was blind. The
second sign reminded people how fortunate they were to have their sight.
Should we be surprised that the second sign was more effective?  Yes !
Be thankful for what you have. Be creative. Be innovative. Think differently and positively.
If Satan remind you of your past, you too remind
him of his future.— Rev. 20:1—3,10.
When life gives you a 100 reasons to cry, show
life that you have uncountable reasons to smile.—
Isaiah 65:17—25.
Face your past without regret.
Handle your present with confidence.
Prepare for the future without fear.—Rom. 10:13)
Keep the faith and drop the fear because escaping
does not solve the problem.
Been remembered that faith is not about
everything turning out okay. Faith is about being
okay no matter how things turn out.
It's a beautiful thing to see a person smiling. But
even more beautiful if you are the reason for the smile.

Hello Brother @Colin Browne ...    Quickly a short answer, bec. I'm still very busy at home !
My dad was NOT a JW when he died....  but I know, Jehovah will bring him back,  bec. he paid with his death !  He must study the Bible in the NW????
Of course, your wife will come back to 100 % too,  she was a JW,  AND she died....  Maybe, she will come earlier, bec. we need many teacher for the later resurrected people.
Alot different work is to do in the NW?  Never a boring time...  and ALL in LOVE and PEACE  ???
