The Universe is full of things we do not know .... and Jehovah MAY resurrect our dogs, perhaps not for his love of dogs ... but willy-nilly ... because of his love for us,  in general. 

He has never stated he would .... but  I used to buy my pet hamsters a wheel to play and exercise on.

How much more is God's love for mankind than our love for pet hamsters ( and dogs, etc.) ?

I got a call  about midnight from the "Front Desk" saying that if I wanted anything ... anything at all ... I need only to ask.

I was a rather rough looking character at the time, and he mentioned that he could supply people that could endure great pain, if I wanted.

The Video being specifically referenced had NOTHING to do with Jehovah's Witnesses .....It was embarrassing because the guy looked like me when I was younger, acted like me, dressed like me, and was as goofy as me.   That is why I referred to it as a possible documentary.

You don’t seem to understand that Watchtower’s leaders are not only double-tongued but adept at creating smokescreens.  Although evidence appears to show no indication that he was registered as a Mason, he was still greatly influenced by Masonry. 

1.) Who is the speaker in the above quote ... and WHEN and WHERE was it spoken? 

2.) Where is a reference that we can look up to check it?

I disagree with this one line only ... Jackson's ADMISSION was the "New Light"

I was of course parodying  the expression "New Light"

Perhaps I did not express myself well .... I was referring to the fact that his personal duplicity, in lying about Watchtower policy, being exposed on permanent video, under oath, was the "New Light"... along with the forcing by outside sources the WT claim to the "home team" that they were inspired of God and inflatable being exposed.

People are forced by facts to admit facts, but, like ex-Senator Al Franken groping  a woman on an airplane ..... ONLY  after the undeniable pictures ... or in this case, video, is published.

Many people were caught in many lies in that Case No. 29 investigation.

On a related note.... did you know that Rocky Balboa's two pet turtles were named "Cuff", and "Link"?

I can do better than that skydiving from 12,000 feet ... but the rush being that close to the ground, at that speed must be terrific.

The cost of good parachute gear nowadays is about $15,000 ... but the zip line has to include airfare and accommodations to the UAE.

I agree   .  he got permission ... but he did not have to.

My theory is it is easier to ask forgiveness ... than to ask permission.

We all, Witnesses and non-Witnesses alike, recognize that Geoffrey Jackson's sworn statement under oath ( so help him God...)   statement was a politically correct lie.

That has been discussed here for more than a year.

The good part, is that it FORCED the GB to admit in the Feb. 2017 Watchtower ... for the very FIRST time, that they were NOT inspired of God ...or infallible. 

They had to match the previously  advocated arrogant fantasy with the lie, and change the fantasy with what is obviously true, due to the global publicity.

Now I would call that NEW LIGHT!

Dogs in our household live a very long time .... My dog Tony was 14 when he died, and Ivory was 18 ... we have one with diabetes that is 16, etc.  Watching them enjoy their lives is and has been a great joy.

I often think that is why Jehovah puts up with humans.

I would suppose that every thing you said is true .. it certainly sounds reasonable, and is certainly well considered ... but the question is NOT whether anything is good for you, bad for you, or completely neutral .... the question is the propriety of those that are representing, or say they are representing Jehovah God as his spokespersons on Earth .... and Geoffrey Jackson of the Governing Body stated that the Governing Body ACTUALLY WERE .... in his testimony before the Australian Royal Commission .... the REAL ISSUE is whether or not those people CLAIMING to be (and possible actually are) God's spokespersons on Earth ... are entitled to speak for God ....

..... words that he himself NEVER SPOKE.

 

That is the ONLY issue  that really matters,  do we have a RIGHT to represent this, or ANY issue about which God has expressed NO OPINION .... as the "Will of God"?

For those in Rio Linda ... THE ANSWER IS A RESOUNDING NO !

Otherwise ... Jehovah's Witnesses become a collection of cultish cultural tyrants ... and PRETENDERS to speak for God, to further the leadership's own culturally induced Victorian proclivities ... subjecting the Brotherhood to public ridicule and embarrassment ... and slandering God himself.

The REAL ISSUE is whether or not those people CLAIMING to be (and possible actually are) God's spokespersons on Earth ... are ENTITLED to speak for God words that he himself NEVER SPOKE.

That is the ONLY issue  that really matters ... for those claiming to "speak for God".

The rest is arrogance, presumptuousness, just plain stupid, and an embarrassment to have to watch.

It slanders God, and makes the Brotherhood a subject of ridicule.

Next ... we will be prohibiting the eating of Meat on Friday., or making "type-antitype" profundities that are absurd, or making end time prophesy that NEVER come true.
