"Targeted " in the headline is the wrong word.  It gives the impression they were targeted by a crime....
China has one million muslims in concentration camps at present - separating children from parents for communistic "re-education".
They are using body parts of "Falun Gong"  members for CCP members and the rich, they are closing Christian churches and much more!
No justice in China.  Read up what they are doing - you will get a massive shock. Ignorant people write these kind of reports above...... Most foreigners are leaving China at present and will never go back because the freedom is being curbed and ones life is not worth much when you land up in the judicial system. 
To give people a chance to learn about God is not "targeting" them.... they are being targeted in their own country if they happen to be a thinking individual who does not worship only the state.

Thanks Ann, for confirmation of this. I was trying to give Allen the benefit of the doubt, because who knows how consistent these colors were? (I suspect they were very consistent, from what I have read about supposed German precision during WWII, but who can really say?) 
 
I was referring to another picture taken at just slightly to the right of the same spot [photographer's POV]  but with a different set of prisoners in that front row. The man in the foreground of that picture appears to have both yellow and pink. Looking at photos of the different colors can help to identify more of the colors and rule out certain colors. 

 
At any rate, I don't think any of us need a physical artifact or photograph to know that there were many faithful Jehovah's Witnesses in the concentration camps. Their faith was amazing considering what they went through.

Yes- you are judging historical sayings it by modern standards and expect perfection. 
All I know is there is no other religion teaching the name of Jehovah all over the earth.
Other Christian denominations believe in the immortality of the soul and believe that Jesus did not put his soul in death (Isaiah 53) . Hence they really do not believe that Jesus really died for all......and only after death  Jesus received immortality as a reward for his faithfulness to his father.
They do not understand that the kingdom will be a real government which will restore the earth......and we should be politically neutral. Most Christian's are quick to vote and grab their guns.... There are tons of other basic teachings which only JWs teach which are crucial to have a good understanding of what God and jesus did for us, so we can build a good relationship with God.  Thanks to the continued preaching efforts of JWs, I learnt the TRUTH.
Whatever the human flaws of our brothers 80 years ago or even 100 years ago, I always remember that Jehovah used Israel in his purpose and they were for sure also a bunch of imperfect men....... why ..... groups of men constantly thought they were better than Moses - and paid the penalty...... similar to what you are constantly doing.  
Moses did not realize that his son should have been circumcised - his wife saved the son's life.  Moses did not know all even though he was the mediator of the new covenant and went into the mountain.  He came back with his face shining, saw the glory of Jehovah as transmitted by angels.  He was also flawed and made mistakes...... 
You only focus on the mistakes and not the undeniable  truths that are taught by JWs. You use the bible and history as a misleading weapon.  I have seen your writings...... you do not fool me.  Nothing honest there but an accuser of our brothers day and night.   
 
 

I just don't get people who quote things out of historical context and evaluate it by today's modern standards.  It is a bending of the truth.
If I quote Franklin, Wilson, Rooseveldt out of historical context then people will call me a bender of historical context.
By today's standards a "scholar" that evaluates quotes out of historical context is also a  crackpot.
Most people in USA in this time did not even think of giving black people human rights..... and there are so many other things I can mention...... that were totally different in society then - so please get real. ...... 
 

If you belong to a golf club and break the rules you may get expelled from the group...... there are many other worldly clubs that do the same to keep their good reputation. When people join the club they know the rules.
If you are unrepentent - and did a gross sin -  you are saying the person must still have full rights?  Even after being baptised and he knows the requirements?  Worldly organizations recognise the need for shunning but we must be different?  Anything goes?  Even if God gives this  instruction for unrepentent people?   Remember - we only do this for people who PERSIST in unrepentent behaviour - who are hardened in their sin - because we first try to win them back.

It is not the same thing.   We do not expel people from the area they are living in or deny them a living.

Oh! So it was really a ‘monumental’ ERROR!  That makes more sense and certainly is backed up by the newspaper articles that I never knew about while a JW.  The Proclaimer's Book "proclaims" only the bare bones, purposefully skipping the embarrassing meat of the story.

Yesterday, prophetic failures were blamed on the members who took any stock in their teachings. Today, they admit that they make mistakes from time to time...
1 - because God never "inspired" them.
2 - because Jesus never promised them perfect food.

Something does not sound right about this report or something wrong with their heads. Never heard of Witnesses who were iconoclasts. Heard of Christians destroying their own magic books  (Acts  19:18,19)  but not property of others or shared property.  Then again it is reported that some strange strategies were used to establish the work there

Most probably the authorities want bribes.  Totally corrupt country. We do not owe them money. There is supposed to be freedom of religion.

In Islamic countries one is not allowed to preach another religion.  Yet in western countries they fight for their rights and "islamaphobia" is often cited.  This hypocricy is part of supremacy of the religion..... 
Christian's in Canada and UK who have converted  from Islam are sent back to Iran and other countries where they face the death penalty.
Western countries are turning against Christians of any kind. Nothing in the news about the dessimation of Christian's in North Africa and Muslim countries in middle east.
Soon we may find ourselves in prison with some of these Christians- and then another phase of our preaching will start.
  

Nobody but nobody has “apostates” like Jehovah’s Witnesses. It is almost as though I am proud of them. Every NT writer wrote about opposition and apostasy. If it happened then, it should happen now. What if there was no opposition today? Wouldn’t you have to wonder why?
Since Witnesses do not seek to evade taxes, they pay into social & police services to a greater proportion than most groups. Since they put into practice Bible principles that improve lives, they draw upon those services to a much lesser degree. They are honest. They don’t resort to violence, either, in contrast to the majority who will when the cause is deemed right. 
It should be taken as more evidence that what Witnesses have is the truth. It would not be so determinedly opposed were that not the case. The opposition to them is hugely disproportional to their “offenses.”

Just to clarify: There were no laws in place in the 1950s, 1960s and even most countries in 1970s......regarding sexual abuse.   "Mandatory reporting" is a relatively new law and covers the loopholes in the law that previously existed........ This was not the fault of institutions but the negligence of law makers.  What was the JWs to do?
JWs  therefore kept records of suspected child abuse cases since 1950s  to be able to notify other congregations of this possibility when suspected perpetrators moved. JWs were the only organization to try to mitigate this problem and now they are "smeared" because of these records.
As I said before - Congress should be blamed for all the loopholes in the laws in the past......no one really knew what to do with these cases and therefore  most perpetrators got away with it...... until 2007 ...when the law changed. How?
During  new court proceedings the victim (children) could no longer be cross-examined in an open court with the perpetrator in view.  Recordings and other methods of testimony was now allowed.   This was the main reason most perpetrators got away with crimes in the past because children had to go through a second abuse of court proceedings and could not measure up.  (However, mosr governments still do not provide enough "expertise" in this field to support children going to court. ... it costs too much.)
The one law which still exists and should be debated is this "priviledge of privacy" of lawyers and spiritual advisors. 
It is not without merit: it does not matter if you have a team of lawyers or only one ..... (a team of priests or one) you have the right to privacy with them (even if you are guilty),  in order to have a fair trial.... well that has been the past legal premise.
Similarly, a person could confess to a priest and then go to a trial for murder. The priest was never called up to testify about the confession (he merely looked after the soul of the person) but the court proceedings had to produce  sufficient evidence to get a conviction.
If necessary - the state should change this "privacy of confession" law.
So - If someone started coming to our meetings and confessed a past sexual sin.   Must elders now report it?  Or is it up to the "victim" to report past sins to the police?  Especially now that one can report it  retro-actively.   The law macine is in place to follow up and investigate.......and get evidence. But the law has failed many people.......why? Lets face the truth - child victims and their parents never felt free to go to the law - even in adult rape cases women and men face a terrible time after a rape. 
(The congregation proceedings as in case of priests is separate from the law - it  deals with only the spiritual side of things).
What I do get is that the government is now enabling victims to go after the wrong people - not the perpetrator .....but the organization which can give the most compensation.... Why did the victim not lodge a complaint with police ? Because the law machine was inadequate. It is too much trouble to get a good court case together and the evidence.  And even if they have enough evidence - it depends on the social status of the perpetrator. A good example of this is the current case of Epstein. The law actually actually allowed Epstein to go after the victims in the Epstein case....to silence them ..... and Epstein got away with 34 counts of abuse and trafficking of minors about 10 years ago.
To me it is  clear case that the state has not been doing its job and now want to blame and saddle  the organizations who have had children in their midst with ALL the reckless irresponsibility.... that they ( lawgivers) hould have been sued for.
 The state legislators of the past were clearly the ones who neglected putting solid laws in place and the law machine has been inadequate. 
 
 
 
 

I am almost 67 years old....... but I still remember many of my reactions which could have been related to hormones - especially my quick emotional reactions.  I think older men also remember many of their  reactions and now look back at this time with more wisdom and maturity. 
Apart from judging humans by applying Jehovahs' righteous principles I do think that memories of our own imperfections and situations (for example: which situations were very difficult to show subjection to a husband ) help us even now (here on earth) to not judge others too harshly......

There are new (and serious) economic  and financial  developments on the world stage.
China has been lending vast amounts  of money to countries in Asia, Africa, South America. Under the guise of  "assistance to develop" they have lent vast amounts  to poor countries to build infrastructure such as airports and harbours.  When counties cannot pay - they take over the infrastructure under  a 100 year lease. Predatory lending. In this way they have acquired ports in Africa,  Sri Lanka, Philippines, apart from building all those islands in the Asia sea.  They can suddenly put embargoes on trade in these seas - and have the capacity to enforce it.
In this  predatoty lending"  manner they have acquired ports, airports all over and then send  their "police" in to protect the new infrastructure they now own. All the countries on the silk road too!  They built the road - when Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan could not pay - the infrastructure became theirs.  They build fast and are organized - unlike anything you have seen. Their engineers work long shifts as the Chinese people work like slaves. They tried to take over a gold mine too in Uzbekistan but locals fought this.
Australia already feels threatened by China because they have financially taken over in their country - high rise cities have sprung up. 
By the way Russia has also done some of this. They already have Ukraine, want Gottland (the swedes are in alert), have a port in Syria and have allies in Turkey and Iran (Access to their ports to control the seas).
They have taken over many mines in Africa which produce rare metals for cell phones and batteries. It is therefore not a surprise that China, Russia and USA are vying to buy Greenland for its port possibilities as well as its  rare metals.
USA corporations moved their manufacturing to China and (inadvertantly?) gave them our top technology.   Google, Amazon etc working with China.  China has been getting rich while USA manufacturing is getting less. To crown it all they found that most high level Chinese students in USA and government have access to our military RND etc.
China has an extreme surveillance system on their people. The "social credit system" is so oppressive  that one cannot buy a coke, buy a plane or train ticket if you are perceived to  have the wrong attitude about the government.  Read up about the extreme credit system which the UN says is an example (a model to follow) in the West.
China has 1 million muslims in brutal re-training camps which no-one can film. Christian's and some Buddhists are persecuted.
Russia has financially started to block off Georgia.  China wants control of all the seas to block off trade or control trade. They can already do that to a large degree. Hence the financial "pushing" between USA and China. China is building many air craft carriers etc. These new measures by Trump is a last minute attempt to try to make China' s economy tank. So China is now using a new strategy to "lessen the perception of their "power". They are paying for many propaganda ads in USA newspapers. 
The NWO  (under control of UN) is close as UN is pushing a "digital" monetary system on the west with digital currency. They want this done by 2022. The Petro-dollar will go. 
When all people pay in digital currency then digital corporations will assist central UN federal government to monitor and punish any individual in the same way China is now doing. Fascism - the marriage between global organizations and world central government - the worst government ever!  Because at apex of human development and technology they have become Dr Evil. The new AI developments are frightening - the way they can now manipulate crowds and individuals.
It is no surprise that G5 (short wave cell phone and internet) is being installed everywhere despite warnings of severe impact on human health and animal /bird/ insect deaths. China's Huawei company has been installing it all over Europe and had contracts in USA which Trump now tried to stop.  They can steal all technology with this, have surveillance and even weaponize it to kill targets.....
So what is my point?  Read Daniel 11:40.  It is economic pushing.  Then read how the plan to control all wealth.... with sudden blockades if necessary. Read Daniel 11 from verse 41 to end.  Lydia and Egypt represent the south. The king of the north is the alliance between Russia and China and their other partners.  UN and EU  is using China as their model . They openly praise their system.
The UN (UNESCO) has been overseeing the school and university curriculims for the last 20 years. This is why we see the dividing in "minority groups" such as black minirity groups and LGBTQ to name two groups. Divide and conquer.  The new feminism has been politicized by communism and the new post modern philosophy comes from the Frankfort school. It is a subversive  cultural communistic teaching.  Communism teaches revolution and destruction of all spirituality and religion so the state can be worshipped. The communist manifesto is similar to Zionism and "religion of peace"  because it wants world dominion.  The youth is ready (via their free school indoctrination) and curricula at universities to accept the new morals which will be put on them under the NWO. 
Now read Daniel 11 from verse 36.   Worship of the state will be demanded or you will face the consequences. 
This is my take of the frightful events we can expect  soon.  The petro-dollar will make place for  digital currency..... it will bring much upheaval BUT the UN and the corporate and extreme rich in the world feel that this revolution is worth all the loss if life and the loss of individual wealth. They are materialists. They believe when all are equal and own the same the world will suddenly become an "utopia" where human behaviour will be managed collectively. 
As in previous communist regimes the revolution will go the same way. The educated (those who do not work with the government)  will be sacrificed for the sake of the revolution and millions will be starved to save the earth (meat production will stop as well as air flights etc.)
It is their plan to lessen the human population on earth as UN  is actively trying to lessen births. Hence the new abortion rules. So much more I can mention..... but that is it for now.
 
 
 

Brazil and South Africa (junk status) who were part of the BRIX are both falling apart financially at present.  When Busch went into Iraq USA created severe debt  (I remember we were supposed to build 18 hospitals in Iraq and only 2 were completed - the rest of the money is unaccounted for.)   At the end of Busch's term we were trillions in debt with the financial crisis - very close to collapse.  Few people realize that Obama (whether you like him or not) had the banks tested for resilience and many banks were closed for a day to find out 2 days later that they were taken over by some bigger bank as instructed by the government.  Disaster was averted. All happened quiet so as not to create panic.  And the FED printed a lot of money to get us out of the  sinkhole while the bigger companies were bailed out such as GM by this extra printed money.
Now that things were starting to improve- although we have not yet addressed the deficit and the checks and balances brought in by Obama have been nullified - we may be going to war again.  I agree with this article that this time we may be in too deep as many countries do not want to use the petro-dollar any more.  This could lead to US economic collapse. 
We know the end is close, as predicted by Jesus  - all the signs are here.  After the collapse of Babylon the great we see in revelation 17 + 18 how the merchants cry.   So yes, financial collapse of the world system (stock exchange etc.) will bring severe distress.  We will see the supply chains which bring in food from other countries collapse and people will kill to get their food.  It will not help to hoard food because there may not be law and order and people will do as they please and take food from those who have.
It is a dire picture - but it is realistic - because the worst of human nature appears when there is no law and order.  When the internet collapses (via warfare or otherwise) most bank balances will be obliterated.... and people can just as well throw their gold on the streets as the Bible predicts because the financial system as we know it today will be no more.
Do we still place too much value on our stuff? ....and the status that goes with it?  It is reality check time.
