There are many kinds of scientists but I do not believe that evolution is a science - no scientific method to speak of and not much evidence (fossil record non-existent especially at the bottom (basis) of the evolutionary tree - also no evidence how birds developed. ... all conjecture.  There are really too many unexplained miracles (miracle: a remarkable event or development that brings  only positive consequences.)

(Of course these dates are totally manufactured dates.... similar to the so-called pictures of the progression of man.)
Dating is also a subject that has not withstood the "science" test. There is a lot of data available in this to read.
The foundation of our belief is Jehovah and Jesus Christ and the fulfillment of the first prophecy of a seed / king that would pay the ransom and then later rule to restore the original purpose of God.  Additionally, how God worked throughout the ages to fulfill this prophecy and how he gave us a genealogy and a timeline to understand the progress of his plan. 
I did not  know that evolution versus creation was the most important subject - as you indicated in your remark.  For me the Bible is enough evidence that God exists and created everything and has a restoration plan - but evolution versus creation helps to provide the additional proof. Whether it is 7000 years or not does not change the fact that he created it all and we are now in the day of rest which is about 6000 years so far. According to Hebrews 4 there is another rest within the rest waiting - the 1000 years.
I have seen quite a few videos where the high priest of Evolution - Mr R Dawkins said that something can come from nothing.  I also have seen the audience laugh at this - which is quite right.   I also have seen him say on two occasions that 'aliens' seeded our life...... that is the extent of the evolutionists brilliant philosophy.  His book: the god delusion, has misled thousands of people and these people believe he is so smart.  When one uses the magic word 'science" these days everyone thinks it is infallible. 
I have some of my own opinions but I do not go and preach my own personal opinions because I believe the kingdom message is the most important and this is what we must preach.  There is no doubt in my mind that the faithful slave understands the kingdom government perfectly. Other Christian religions fail on this topic completely.
Mr Butler, a person can make a lot of trouble for yourself if you go and preach your own message.  Jehovah will correct all discrepancies in his own time.  If you do not trust Jehovah to correct things then you cannot be a witness and serve alongside his other servants. ... and then you may lose your everlasting life.  One cannot act in an immature way and act independently and insist you are right - it is disruptive and egotistical - anointed or not.  
I agree - the dynamic energy of Jehovah created the entire physical universe  - Isaiah 40 says that the stars came forth by his dynamic energy (projected energy).  So the physical universe did not come from nothing.  If one can put this in a human scale - I always think of Jehovah bringing forth the entire physical universe (with all its galaxies) and with its beginning of  time and  the 3 dimensions of space and all the different forces such as gravity, weak and strong force, into existence by his  dynamic energy as small as a single dust particle.  (it may have been a singularity but then the explosion would have been totally controlled to bring forth the elements in the universe)

I left this discussion last year because the fight over semantics was so stupid. Anyone who believes the universe came from nothing or believes that something comes from nothing - one cannot argue with people like that - not worth the effort. It is a totally unscientific statement and even if you say you are a scientist 1000 times, it does not make you a scientist who bases your conclusion on evidence if you really "believe" that statement. To say that a cell "appears" to be designed proves the simplicity of the mind or proves incomprehension or lack of study of the complexity of the cell itself. Nano-biotechnology has proven the complexity. IN any case there are now many papers which prove that collagen, blood vessels and more than 10 proteins have been found together with Carbon 14 in fossils. These samples have been taken on numerous different fossils and every time there is the same result (repeated tests) without contamination.... This proves the fossils are only thousands of years old and not millions.

Yes - the new Buzz words of the UN is "sustainable living"  It is all wrapped up in their UN Agenda 21 plans for the 21st century and to get all people living on only half the planet..... this is why they have the migration policies.

I think the best way to really know about life behind the iron curtain is to have the "privilege" of having experienced it. Not even I experienced it fully,  (only when vacationing there) but my mother has, and many of my peers who stayed behind have, while my mum and I were allowed out because of my mother marrying a foreigner out of the country. My grandparents defected shortly after the country was overtaken by the "Bolsheviks",  as we called them. They couldn't go back until after the the fall of communism. My grandmother cried when she and grandpa returned and saw the dilapidated and forsaken state of the towns and villages. No money had been invested into any kind of upkeep, and anything that was manufactured was shipped off to Russia....which wasn't much anyway. I could tell stories upon stories...
I have not read Solzhenitsyn, but I imagine not everything he wrote was accurate, just like not everything that communist propaganda told us about life in the West was. One of my distant relatives, a staunch communist herself, believed that Americans were so badly off that they had to eat out of garbage cans. As regards violence, yes, a few people mysteriously disappeared, but mainly, oppression came from a much subtler direction. Education, decent jobs, and pretty much anything else depended on whether you supported the communist party or not. So people pretended to do so, while they did their own thing. The motto was; "if you don't steal from the state, you are stealing from your family". Everyone had to to work, but the quality of work was nonexistent because no one cared since nothing was for them anyway.  Funnily enough many people look back on those times with a kind of nostalgia, because although no one had anything no one had to chase after anything either, because there was nothing to have. There was no ambition, but no stress either. So people concentrated on having a good time. Work days were short and weekends were long. Most families had country cottages where they would spend all their free time with family and friends. It was a kind of solidarity that does not exist any more, and some people miss that. Who had it most difficult were political dissidents and Jehovah's Witnesses of course because they did not pander to the communists. Brothers were sent to work in coal mines and so were the political dissidents. Quite a few spent some months in jail. Intellectuals, the bourgeois, and highly educated people were not trusted either, and of course many of them defected to the West. My grandfather had a thriving engineering company that he had to give up, and he went to jail for a short time, but I forget the exact reason, I will have to ask my mum.....

I read three of Solzhenitsyn's books and found them completely and totally credible.

@Arauna A source and a friend who goes by the name Solider of God of mine I asked him for more information, since he was too busy to type some information, he just directed me to another source, Stefan Molyneux. Knowing how Molyneux is, his videos tend to be more than 30-40 minutes long and he has shed some points regarding the UN Compact 2018.
That being said, in the next coming months the intensity will continue to increase and eventually far difficult situations will come and people will be angered and annoyed and more protesting will be done for and those against, pretty much a box of marbles that just suddenly scatter on the floor, it will be that chaotic.

Thanks for this item.  I met a Seven Day adventist in the field and spent an hour there.  Very hard to talk to because reasoning very one dimentional - only focussed on Sabath part of Ten Commandments.  This has refreshed my memory.
 
 
 
 
 

What is all this complaint about grammar?  I thought this was a forum where one can have discussions similar to sitting in your lounge with friends.   I did not think this was a place where only the elites congregate to share their extensive scholarly inclinations and have scholarly debates while correcting the language on the contributions of others.

At newspapers they used to have subs to correct the serious language problems and journalists where hired for their knowledge and thinking abilities while reporting on actual events accurately.  This seems to have gone astray in the modern world. 

I have often seen people with little formal education have thinking abilities much better than those of scholars.  One just has to read the theories on theology such as “liberation theology” or the latest theories on how the New Testament was concocted…..by the Creaser’s of Rome…. Crazy stuff... to know there is a screw lose at universities.   The scholars these days really come up with unsubstantiated trash…  

My brother (who is not a JW) had almost 50 engineers working for him – some from Harvard.  He has 5 degrees and retired at age 40.   He always said: “People who cannot make it in the real world become scholars and teach at universities.” 

Depending on the field - I often agree with him… and seeing the level of science and education at universities at present, I totally agree with him.  I will not send my child to such an institution now to be brainwashed by them.  A vocational school is much better!
This is why I am very careful of wiki and many other sites.  It is edited by people with a new world agenda already embedded in their thinking.  Recently a person requested permission to edit what was written about him on Wikipedia.  They refused.  It apparently means that he did not understand his own writings and his own life history is twisted. Hermaphrodites are a very small percentage of the population - this is a true physical dilemma which does require special consideration.
However, to 'condone' sexual deviancy is declared to be wicked - Romans 1: 43 King James: " 32 who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them."
True Christians will not compromise on this principal.  We are now being prepared to be under the future government of Jehovah where these things will not be allowed.
If I have a bad temper - I must learn to control it.  If I have deviant sexual desires - I must learn to control it.  Peoples foibles and fetishes differ but in the end self-control is what helps us.
Jesus said that looking at a woman to desire her is adultery and hating someone is like murdering them.  Why? The self-control of our desires, which originates in our deviant hearts, must be controlled.
We must be spiritually circumcised with Jehovah's laws written on our hearts.

It is understandable and visible (not always, huh) how brain of human and animal are not the same. And how some moral questions about sexuality come up in human society.  BUT, on other hand Bible reveals statement how Soul (and WT say how that means ENTIRE, WHOLE, animal or human individual/creature, aka brain, emotions, needs, wishes.....etc. If we produce some conclusions from this quotes, perhaps we can say how basic, primitive mechanism is similar, or it is almost the SAME in both bodies. So, we see very basic instincts in both Organism - with same/similar sort of  behaviors.
And as some other "inspired" human wrote: For the fates of both men and beasts are the same: As one dies, so dies the other— they all have the same breath. Man has no advantage over the animals, since everything is futile. -- A human being is no better off than an animal, because life has no meaning for either.

It is a witticism I have not heard and long ago I might have run with it. These days I hold back. If one succumbs to be “born that way” mantra...and given its new universality...how could one not?...it’s a jab that seems unfair.
For ones of such leanings in the Christian congregation, they must be prepared to swim, not into the shore, nor away from it, but parallel to it, likely for a long long time in hopes that their orientation will readjust. It is a test of faith...denying the very real testimony of their own bodies...that few are called upon to face.

Romans 1:26-27 is not considered prophetic, but to me it is the most prophetic verse of all. Nobody but nobody of my time would have ever foreseen it. A small minority, yes, that has always been...but to go mainstream? Never.

Talking about food rationing - I think, as things progress, they will slowly starve millions/billions because farming will be reduced and food rationed.  It brings the famines under communism to mind. 
Moral decline is happening daily in front of our eyes.  Saw a clip yesterday where the professor is drawing attention to a school in Ireland which is now teaching their students that boys can have periods so they do not feel excluded.   When they start messing with reality in such a way - what chance do the children have?
