I read a lot of the rubbish on MSN online, but most of it has been about that strange old lady of 90 odd years old, here in the UK. Most boring. I try not to read about the Ukraine war as it's depressing and it's all part of this old system of things that is going down anyway. 
I do of course do some Bible reading, from the BSB Bible, and i have spent some time reading the Watchtower Study articles from January to date, all online at JW org. 
But if i am going to read, then I much prefer to sit in my rocking chair and re-read books by Derek Tangye. The life story of him and his wife giving up life in London to set up a small business in Cornwall. It was reading those books the first time that helped my wife and I decide to move our little family from the city of Bristol, to deepest Devon, in the countryside. 
But of all things now,  the one thing I love to do is to sit in our garden and watch God's small creatures, the birds and bees, and to smell the flowers. I feel much closer to God and Yeshua when I'm amongst Their creations than i do sat in front of a computer reading things that i can do nothing about. And of course I give thanks in prayer to God for all his wonderful works.

When this battle is all finished, will Jesus choose some of these “kings of the earth” which you call literal rulers of the nations of the world – to serve in the Temple of God?  Why would he, when he has his own spiritual, anointed “kings of the earth”?

Grace and peace to you from the one who is, who was, and who is to come, and from the seven spirits before his throne, 5 and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us and has set us free from our sins by his blood, 6 and made us a kingdom, priests to his God and Father—to him be glory and dominion forever and ever. That I agree with.  The composite “false prophet” GB, (Rev 13:11,12) that misleads the “elect”/”kings of the inhabited earth”, which are the anointed priests, has truly accomplished their goal – to convince JWs that the “kings of the earth” that do battle against the Lamb, are not the kings belonging to Jesus Christ; of which your false teachers/prophets if anointed, are most definitely part of …”kings of the earth”.  Are they not?  This is why the composite false prophet Beast of Rev. 13:11,12, is from the "earth".  (Matt 24:24,25)
The battle is between these kings; who were chosen as the habitation of God’s Spirit.  They are His “land”, and His land has always had good kings and bad kings.  Nothing has changed, only that the connotation of “kings” is now spiritual.    Hos 4:1;1 Cor 3:16; 3:9; Rev 5:9,10
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

I live in the Balkans and I still am a member of the Georgian congregation (Georgia is next to russia). Yes, many got out who left early.  Brothers were helped in Georgia and many went to Poland. Here in Albania we were asked to put up brothers but only 2 couples came. Both left for other countries afterwards such as Turkey.

All the kings of the earth are following this propaganda - which is leading them into direct conflict with Jesus Christ,  when he comes to rule completely over the earth.
The false prophet is  very busy with his signs. The false prophet is leading us all mesmerized along with their lab-manufactured problems, massive fear-inducing propaganda, together with an unending list of solutions which have already been deliberated on by those who will soon become the 10 new kings together with the UNs WHO organization; constantly creating new diversions so that the populous cannot get time to think straight; and the atheist prophets of scientism can get their transhuman agenda into play.

The Propaganda is getting insane by the day. I'm on break now but this semester, the mentality for most concerning Ukraine is absolute bonkers, so much so people who say other would refer to these people as radicalized. One of my professors dyed his hair blue/yellow to support Ukraine.
But so far I have been looking more into the history, and I saw that this all traces back, well most of it, to former Ukraine president Viktor Yanukovych, and the Euro Madian riots of 2014, and the Donbas War.
What makes this even more concerning, I did see some Ukrainian (and Ukrainian Americans) sport the Azov Battalion insignia on a part of their clothing or bag. Then there is the unnecessary hate for Russians because of Putin.
Arauna and SM mentioned Russia's allies and it looks like they are making moves too it seems.
What I find interesting is I had seen others who are not one of JWs refering to Russia (since they are friends with Syria) as the King of the North.
Even tho you can ignore all this stuff, it still has an effect indirectly and it's big time. My cousin was angry because of gas prices, just to fill up he pays close to $100+ now which is crazy. Thank goodness I rarely use my car lol 😆

There are exceptions to any general request.  If everyone did as they pleased there would be chaos, so everyone usually obliges willingly ,,,,,,,   but congregations are always very willing to make exceptions for the elderly.  So I agree with Tom...... they are not orders but people willingly obey any request.....  big difference in attitude. 

He acted out of personal concern for his daughters - which  is a good thing -  but not in the way he did it.  Because of the position he held in the congregation it brought dishonor to Jehovah's name.... because you can now use that as an example of bias behavior, which it is. 
The bible does say we must not judge any person on hearsay...... so he was not correct in doing this.  But how many of us act in a perfect way when our daughter's reputation or well-being may be at stake?  He was just an imperfect father.
In the end, you did not work out to be the best guy for her....
