When a miracle is an unexplained event which is beneficial then....sure I do believe in miracles.

Incorrect - I have spoken to people from these ' inspired churches' who make up a lot of things as they go along and say they are inspired by god's spirit.  Usually these inspired things are closer to spiritism than the Bible.  The Bible is our "inspired" source.

There is a difference: to pray directly to Jesus and different to pray to Jehovah through Jesus who paid the ransom. I am sure this is what he meant.

This sounds like you are actually writing about a Kingdom Hall.
where nobody’s identity is known for sure, where it is so easy to hide who and what you are,
How true that is. Because you and others don't think sins should be confessed, so Elders and congregants hide all their sins. And even when congregants (or Elders?)  are reproved, no one knows why, so the sins are still hidden. Hence congregants and Elders can still hide who they really are, and of course this has led to so much CSA in congregations.
where there is no spiritual food, Now that's for sure. The 'food' coming from men that are not inspired of God's Holy Spirit, and possibly written by men that are not of the Anointed.

Arauna ..I think Sis we need to let this person have the last say...or we become like him....don’t waste your precious spiritual energy...I’m not sure what is going on here but it’s not healthy...it’s time to back away for the sake..not of those participating...but for sake of those who may be reading this and dismayed at how low we all have become...me included ...
none of this thread is dignified...or mature...
Jesus didn’t even look at Herod as he was so disgusted with him...
you know the old saying...If there is no wood,...there is no fire...I admire your tenacity...

The reason there is an expression “skeletons in the closet” is that throughout history, people have succeeded in keeping them there. It is only in modern times that any sin of any degree is expected to be reported to others.
Some ought be, no doubt. Others not so much. But the idea that the involved parties, even the victim him/herself, has NO SAY in the matter is uniquely of our time.

This is a common problem - family members beg elders to not tell the police.  This is why I say that many here do not think of how the families feel or think. They do not think of the family dynamics, except about the reporting.
I have mentioned on this forum before how a young boy who touched his cousin out of curiosity was sent to a reformatory and branded a sex offender for the rest of his life......  BUT the people here do not really want to look at the nuances and the pain this brings a family or the victim....... the smell a pound of flesh and use this subject to keep on beating and beating JWs. they are not reasonable.

Yes, we all have experience of judicial committees.... lol.
Your other words also indicate that we must shut up if we have not been on a committee.   So where will I learn about this as a silly woman hmmm....? Will you teach me? .. when you distainfully shut me up or  expect me to say nothing or get off the forum?
OR will you patiently explain things here on the forum and NOT  expect  people to dutifully shut up?  I learn a lot from you but what you have  shamelessly said over the last few days, does not indicate wisdom by NOT looking at things also from another persons perspective.  You remind me of the pharisees - all law, and no love. You have to learn to tone down the harshness and one-sidedness. I look past that because I like to learn things - no matter from which mouth it comes , ........ I am not just speaking for myself here.
On this forum is not just about having experts on a matter talking.  If the forum was merely for experts arguing "cases" then where would us ordinary folk go?
I do not want to share photographs of myself on other media or talk about car racing, clothes, or some other silly subject. I come here to get my mind stimulated to get something new to think about ...... not to be an expert..... or to be perfect..... If I wanted oversight I would go to the "closed" part of the forum.
Yes - there are those who are  silly sometimes... even sloppy.....(I feel entitled to be, having worked hard my whole life)...... but this is made up for by others with extreme puffiness, commedians, bad tempered and deviant  experts and others with extreme hate-OCD.
There are people on here that would not believe even if christ himself spoke to them from heaven by e-mail.... they would think it is a despicable  JW prodding  them..... their prejudice is immutable. They think the JW organization should be run the way THEY think it should be run and will always find some handy element to critisize as long as they live ....... no matter how reasonable the arguments....... because they themselves cannot put themselves in any other persons shoes. They are highly flawed but do not know it.  Put those very same people in a position of leadership and all justice will disappear because they have no clue about righteousness or justice.

Then why do you come here?  You yourself say - have discipline..... discipline the mind!  Walk the talk buddy!  I know I am a Witness - but if I am not good enough to your standards,  go read the watchtower we studied today!

I sincerely hope our boy has never sat in on judicial committees. On the other hand, if he has, that will make identification a snap.
Look for the congregation with 2000% turnover and the job is done.

But how do you feel about the GB / Lawyers not handing over the 25 year Pedophile database in USA ?
How do you feel that here in UK the UK Bethel didn't want to hand over their Pedophile information, to the point that the info' was only handed over (o rmaybe only a small amount of the info') after the court told them to ?
How do you feel the GB Layews that have deliberately lied in courtrooms ?
How do you feel about Elders using clergy penitent privilege in court ?
how do you feel about compensation being paid to victims of CSA in the JW Org / Watchtower ?
Those are important points, because those points will show how much of a 'Christian' you are.

NOW THIS IS WHAT A CURRENT ELDER THINK OF CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE IN JW ORG CONGREGATIONS.  AS I'VE SAID BEFORE THE ORG JUST LOOK AT VICTIMS OF CSA AS BEING COLLATERAL DAMAGE.

I can agree with your comment about issue.
This sentence I singled out is very reminiscent of how WTJWorg blaming its members because they, reportedly/allegedly, didn’t understand what was written in the publications, so they began to believe in something they themselves thought was written in magazines (1975 is a great example from history that even today is part of JW talks in congregations and on JWTV).

I think your beef goes well beyond this or any other discussion and it is simply that there is a shepherding mechanism among JWs. Next it will be at shepherds themselves, next congregations themselves. Will it go all the way to a beef that there is a God himself?

This is probably true. But it is in the nature of social media. Nobody “fully understands” anything of which they speak. Maybe they should, but they rarely do. All communication is a give-and-take of trying to get a better grasp of things, searching out accuracy and evading the rocks that would rip open the boat’s bottom.
For the most part, this is understood going in. It is buyer beware. A fool believes every word. The shrewd ones weighs matters carefully.
Granted, few people do this. But the only solution is to become more shrewd oneself or pull the plug on social media Since the latter isn’t likely to happen, one can only aim for the former.

You either don’t keep up or you deliberately misrepresent. The May 2019 made exactly that point.
It doesn’t matter what the elders do or do not do. It doesn’t matter what they do or do not believe. A member has every right to go to the police and by doing so, they bring no reproach at all on the congregation. The abuser has already done that.

Yes. Geoffrey Jackson made that point to the ARC but they didn't want to hear it.
In the Dear Mr. Putin ebook, I included:
"Three times before the Australian Royal Commission, Geoffrey Jackson, of the Witness Governing Body, pleaded for universal, mandatory reporting laws, with no exceptions—if that could only be done, it would make the job of the Witness organization in policing its own without raising the ire of those outside the congregation “so much easier,” he said.
"Continuing his cross-examination, Justice Angus Stewart said: “Leaving aside the question of overriding mandatory law from the civil authorities...” I almost wish that Brother Jackson would have interjected at this point, “I wish you would not leave it aside, for it would solve the problem.” The greater world cannot make a dent in preventing child sexual abuse, and so it puts the onus on those who are trying to do something about it. Alas, our best lines invariably occur to us too late—had Brother Jackson picked up my line, it probably just would have got their backs up—and then (gulp) he would have looked at me with displeasure."
Alas, this passage does not survive into the rewrite, but I'll stick it somewhere.
If only CC could refrain from spewing battery acid on everyone--he really does have some valuable insights here.

Wow, yes please. Then the GB's lawyers might have to tell the truth, but then i doubt it.
And maye it still boils down to the fact that if an Elder does not believe a victim, OR pretends not to believe a victim or victims parents, then nothing gets done internally or outwardly.  What a BIG loophole that is.
If the law was that ALL allegations had to be forwarded to the police then it would simply be obeying the Superior Authorities.
Now if Elders, Circuit Overseers, et al, were not doing the jobs of the Anointed, then maybe the jobs would be done properly. If the True Anointed were in those positions the jobs would indeed be done better.  Because, regarding the Anointed, to whom more is given, more will be expected in return.

It does not make their hate-OCD better. It is false to think that JWs must pander to such deceit and unrighteousness. I do not recall Jesus pandering to mainstream thinking or placating the pharisees.
I also come across strong to the American mindset. A country where boys who are unruly,  not polite or noisy are given drugs in school and diagnosed with ADHD ...... yes I understand the American mindset.  And it is truly warped..... that is why it is now unlawful to say anything against transgenderism.  This has been coming for a very ling time.
I do think I can learn to be more polite in my disdain of lies....but I do not think the people here are inclined to learn anything from others...... so yea .... I may be wasting my precious eyesight.
I do pop in now and then but I do not take these subjects too seriously..... or for that matter myself seriously here..... it is a waste of time. It is mere entertainment.
Maybe I should add that I intended no harm or untruth when I added that short comment. So I apologise.  I just zoomed in on a word that was used. That is all.

I did my dear... maybe not harshly because I was trying to show patience to him. But on many occasion I called him out and I was not always kind. I have not been quiet on this forum when people bend the truth. I give benefit of the doubt until I am sure someone is really bending the truth so much they could be bending spoons!......(in spiritistic way)
