Every child born is a potential Hitler, Alexander the Great or Ghinges Khan.  In fact, what is going on in the world right now - the extreme lies, gaslighting, propaganda by the wild beast and false prophet (Rev 16), are all done by people who are 'willingly' cooperating with the propaganda and getting the mark of the beast.
Humans are evil - all of them.  History confirms this. We are all born in sin.  The word sin refers to lacking the glory of God.  Not a teensy weensy, small lack but an extremely gaping, large lack.  If we think it is a little flaw - then we are bluffing ourselves.
We have to daily study the bible and keep close to Jehovah, to remain a just and moral being. The minute we stop taking in His word, we can drift away.   We need the Spirit of Jehovah on a daily basis to remain in the Truth.  We cannot do it on our own - even if some of us think we can.  While we remain in the love of Jehovah with the ransom covering our sins, we can remain. Jehovah is most merciful  - none of will remain in the truth if it was not for his mercy and training.
Do not be misled - we should not bluff ourselves - we need Jehovah every minute of our lives to remain clean and without blemish.

If people knew that Brother Lett's Parents were deaf, they could see why he speaks the way he does.  Have you seen how a deaf person communicates? They over exaggerate to get their point across. When the wicked make fun of Brother Lett, they (the demons) are poking fun at the deaf.

*** w19 November pp. 15-16 par. 8 Are You Maintaining Your “Large Shield of Faith”? ***
8 Satan, “the father of the lie,” uses those under his control to spread lies about Jehovah and about our brothers and sisters. (John 8:44) For instance, apostates publish lies and distort facts about Jehovah’s organization on websites and through television and other media. Those lies are among Satan’s “burning arrows.” (Eph. 6:16) How should we respond if someone confronts us with such lies? We reject them! Why? Because we have faith in Jehovah and we trust our brothers. In fact, we avoid all contact with apostates. We do not allow anyone or anything, including curiosity, to draw us into arguing with them.

“Then Truetom, also called TTH, becoming fed up, looked at her intently  and said: “O woman full of every sort of fraud and every sort of villainy, you daughter of the Devil, you enemy of everything righteous, will you not quit distorting the right ways of Jehovah?  (Acts 13:9-10)
    What he said was:
“Now, if we think about it, we're not born as friends of God because we're born as sinful offspring of Adam. Actually, when we think about it, we're born as enemies of God. Sometimes you'll hear people say of a little baby, ‘Look at that little angel,’ but more accurate would be to say, ‘Look at that little enemy of God.’ Now, of course we love that little baby and it's now not hopeless because our loving creator has made reconciliation with him within the reach of everyone. We can become a good friend of God and that close relationship with Jehovah will become our most valuable possession.”
Notice how he twice said, ‘when [if] we think about it?’ You have to do that: think about things and not just parrot sound bites to make people you hate look bad. Oh, you spiteful woman, who quotes scripture by the bushel basket but never lays hold on the one that applies, besides the reference to Adam in Genesis, the place to focus is here:
“…through one man sin entered into the world and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because they had all sinned—.” Romans 5:12
“when we were enemies we became reconciled to God through the death of his Son,” by exercising faith in him, which a baby cannot yet do, and thus is temporarily ‘grandfathered’ via the faith of it’s parents. (vs 10)
Now, as for Bro Lett, for a guy who will quote Job 12:11, “Does not the ear test out words As the tongue tastes food?” you’d almost think he’d test them out a little more before letting loose with a phrase that every evil cherry picker will use against him to “distort the right ways of Jehovah.”
Still, I hate to think what you would have done to Jesus, after his, ‘Whoever feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood has everlasting life, and I will resurrect him on the last day; for my flesh is true food and my blood is true drink.’ John 6:54-55
Taking into consideration that passage in John, I would say Lett is supremely adhering to and following Christ as a model, more so than any of the other GB members.
Imagine: what sort of vile person would comb through a convention in which every talk explores the verse ‘seek peace and pursue it’ to find and exploit a faux pas?

    *** w98 3/15 p. 21 par. 14 Living Up to Christian Dedication in Freedom ***
14 The Governing Body is a loving provision and an example of faith worthy of imitation. (Philippians 3:17; Hebrews 13:7) By their adhering to and following Christ as a model, they can echo Paul’s words: “Not that we are the masters over your faith, but we are fellow workers for your joy, for it is by your faith that you are standing.” (2 Corinthians 1:24) By observing trends, the Governing Body draws attention to the benefits of heeding Bible counsel, offers suggestions about applying Bible laws and principles, warns of hidden dangers, and provides “fellow workers” needed encouragement. It thus discharges its Christian stewardship, helps them to maintain their joy, and builds them up in faith so that they can stand firm.—1 Corinthians 4:1, 2; Titus 1:7-9.

When I left South Africa, I left 3 African language bibles behind which was printed by the exact same company which had printed the Afrikaans translation.  My first language is Afrikaans.  Our bible did not have the name in at all but the Bantu bibles (as these languages were known at the time), had the name Jehovah more than 6000 in them.
I used to show the name of the company to people and then the different translations - so they could spot the deception.
The company which translated our Afrikaans bible had been active since 1933 when the most well-known translation was done.  Prior to that there were some Dutch translations done by Mr. Pannevis which had the Name Jehovah in a few places.
Sad that bible companies elect to leave out the Name of the true God. The Gideon bibles, well-known across the world also do not have the name of the true god in them.  Does that not tell you that Satan can masquerade as an angel of light?
The newest Bantu translations have the name removed as well.

These 12th century texts they are quoting comes AFTER the Hebrew copies made by the Hebrew scribes - the Masoretic Codexis and manuscripts  of which Nehemia Gorden has already gone to inspect almost 2000 of them - to see if the pointer system (vowels) is in the same ink as the original text.
He has confirmed that the pronunciation of the name  is Yehovah in the original Hebrew. And names such a Yehoram, Yehoshua, etc confirm this.

Ask yourself what version of God's Name is pushed the most by the worldly scholars - who are not necessary committed to the Truth but merely to call themselves experts?
The version they push will be the version pushed by Satan.  Keep in mind that Satan is behind the Jewish effort and Roman effort to have the name disappeared.
    Just saying!

I enjoy your postings and your answers to the hate-crew.    I will just add that most biblical scholars do not care for the bible at all.  They are "scholars" with egos who want to get their name out there in the big world by any means.  Modern scholarship is farcical because of "peer review" practices - which is prone to friends approving work of friends.  One need to look no further than the current gender debacles in behavioral "science" in the present day - which does not even acknowledge the existence of Y and X chromosomes!  In my experience, many of the biblical scholars have done more harm to the bible's reputation and  the truth, than the other way around, by promoting theories based on conjecture, rather than sound reasoning.
Back to the subject:  When I was learning Arabic - which is a closely related Semitic language to Hebrew and, and some say, more closely related to the ancient Akkadian (the old Linga franca of the entire world which later morphed into Aramaic), I learnt about the  "causative verbs".   It was then that I realized that "I am that I am"  was not an accurate translation of the Hebrew.  In Semitic languages all the verbs already imply that a person exists.  They do not say - I am - as separate words, as in English - except in special circumstances. "Ana" means I am.
This was when I realized that the translation of "He causes to become" is a more  accurate translation of this verse and is a causative verb.

I remember a newspaper article many years ago to the effect that police could nab the petty thieves fairly easily. The style was to wear their pants below their rear ends and they’d instantly trip themselves making their getaway.

Man, I wish all this whining about the organization would quit. You'd think these idiots would be able to better able to prioritize their annoyances.
With these idiots the answer to the question:
"What is the one problem facing humanity which deserves the most from your scarce resources and time?"
It's always whining about the organization.
Faced with that level of idiocy and lack of self awareness , what can you do? You might as well be talking to a chatbot.

@Arauna has often pointed out that something she calls "hate OCD" will affect the ability of a person to tell the truth about another person's point of view when it disagrees (at least in part) with their own point of view. @Patiently waiting for Truth (John) has made several arguments that are wrong in my opinion. Yet he  has clearly made the point that the letter "J" was used prior to 1949. You create a false, "straw man" argument, something akin to a "lie" when you pretend that he claimed something different.
Of course, it's so ludicrous to pretend that John claimed there was no letter J before 1949 that I wouldn't call it a lie. It's so obvious that you already know you are wrong that it falls under some other category. It's purposeful nonsense, just like claiming that Hitler is his hero.
My best guess is that you were merely grasping at "strawmen" so that you can divert to the claim that "he is wrong" because that is easier for you than admitting that @Patiently waiting for Truth was correct at least on that one particular point about the Spanish monk, Raymund Martini. Even the Watchtower admits that John's information was right on that point.
For a 70-some year old man, John sometimes comes across as childish. I'm sure that I, too, sometimes come across that way. But when it's obvious that I am responding childishly, I don't mind having it pointed out to me.

Except the pronunciation given today is not that of ancient Egyptian.  The Rosetta Stone is not older then 300 BCE ....consequently all old documents are translated in the Egyptian of 3rd century.... which was deciphered with this Rosetta Stone.
So the inscription you are referring to is 1500 to 1200 BCE - really ancient Egyptian (and please be reminded there were at least 20 different dialects because Egypt was divided in 20 Nodes). The Language that existed about 1200 years before the pronunciation we understand today.  Ancient Egyptian is not understood by any scholar.
So this pronunciation is not absolutely accurate either.

This is why I leave the deep thoughts to the professionals. I get you, there are many that want to debate the true name of God. God is God. Just showing respect to that fact and call him by his deserved sovereign name, which ever you choose without disrespecting his sovereignty, that's all he asks of us. For us to believe in Christs words, and to know God's truth, will come to pass.
Do we need to show God our appreciation and praise? We definitely do. Can it be done as ONE, no it can't. Jesus formed Christianity to mean unity. The same unity God spoke of for his chosen people. There definitely needs to be a "oneness" within that unity.
Eventually, it was transformed that way for easy understanding. Don't get me wrong, The YHWH or THVH is appropriate.

@Patiently waiting for TruthI would not quote a second rate English newspaper from 1970 or a French person as a scholar on the Hebrew language.......or as an authority. My maiden name was De Villiers (French Huguenot stock) from South Africa.  I think that says it all. Especially, since there are early churches in South Africa and Europe which has the name Jehovah engraved on it.
Only Dutch churches in South Africa were allowed as it was a Dutch colony and they wanted the French to integrate.  They had to go to the Dutch church. It sounds like some wild theory.
