I know a few far worse rogues around here! And they are the ones who are the loudest in their negativity - for sure!

No fair at all, but neither is life. Down they go. It’s possible to establish such a cantankerous reputation, even resurrecting oneself from preview banishments to do so, to earn frequent flyer miles on the ‘In&Out’ Airline. Behave, tone down rancor, compare yourself with yourself only, not with other people (isn’t there a verse on that somewhere?) and you will yet live long and prosper.

None of us is in the trash yet.  There is hope for us all until we die or Armageddon comes. (You are coming across a bit abusive like someone who has been on here before....) but to each his own......

For whatever it’s worth, the organization I highly regard would view some here, myself included (if not foremost), as setting a bad example for past exchanges with apostates.

At first I thought you might be being somewhat judgemental on the overseer George Benson....and stayed quiet.... however when you wrote the above it got me to thinking....
Wasn't there an official video not long ago telling young people to put down their violin (musical instruments) in favor of studying and field service?
That would be an obvious stumbling block to millions of JW's worldwide which would be a very strong argument for him to choose NOT to use his talent publicly despite having a natural right to do so.

ok... I've said enough.... I'm sure Brother George Benson would be an interesting elder to talk to and get his views on things given his experience in life.

As I said before - I will do nothing if such things are announced in a public place.  But privately it will not carry my approval. I will ask my overseer why it was done though!  I will not keep quiet if they single stars out for special attention. 
Would we have had any discussion this forum at all - if I did not make my comment that I do not like this personally? So what is this forum for? - for people to keep their opinions to themselves? so that we just become an eco chamber of each other?

LOL. I am 70 years old and sickly to boot - why would I not wish him good health and lots of money and fame.  If you want to hang at his feet do so.  I do not!  that is the point!

Yeah…. I am addicted to Dihydrogen Monoxide and need a fix about four times a day. One time I overdosed and spent 4 days in the hospital with congestive heart failure, and lost 26 pounds. You dim and bitter bulb that sucks away light, if money was the object, the org would not continually advise young ones to tone it down, stay low-key, put Jehovah first over riches, and so forth! I mean, it’s the whole theme of this thread, which you ignore just to hurl an insult-bomb when you sense an opening..
On another day, you’ll be lambasting them for encouraging young people to be window cleaners whereas they should be chasing career and making money!

I seem to be the only one to feel that a person who made a lot of money in his life should try to do more for Jah - not use all his energies he has left in furthering his career.  I bet he does not have enough money to keep his BIG house going! But sell it - I do not think so..... 
Any case - I stated my case - not because I am jealous but because I think of all the young talent out there who make Jehovah the first thing in their life and let all the opportunities go.  I did this and I am not sorry ..... but I do not like it when these people are held up as an example!  This happens in sports, music and many other fields.
Of course, those who put Jehovah fist receive blessings from Jehovah but sometimes a person will see another person, who should know better, taking all the opportunities coming their way to be in the limelight.... and like psalm 37 says - it is deceptive - because it seems as if it is going better with those who do not put Jehovah first.

That George should be scolded. Her remarks of support for George are relevant to the discussion. To me she said:

These are all names which have the name of Jeho-vah in them.
Jah - is the short version of Jehovah's name such as in  - Hallelujah
Then one also has names with the Jah in it - 
Jah-aziel; and many other. 
 
So the Israelite names should give you a good idea of the pronunciation of God's name!
