Watch first ever parachute jump off megadrone in dramatic footage
What could be the world’s first successful test drive of a super-powered drone took aerial-tech and dare-delivery to new heights in Taurene, Latvia, Friday, after the pilotless aircraft lifted kydiver Ingus Augstkalns aloft, only for him to parachute back down to earth.
Hanging on to the drone, the aircraft lifted Augstkalns off his feet and into the air, where at around 330m above the earth, he let go. Quickly releasing his parachute, the skydiver flew safely back to earth, where he was greeted by his colleagues. -
