  12. At one time, Glenn Beck offered glowing words to Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, but those feelings seemed to have vanished since the vanquished Republican presidential hopeful indicated he will support presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump. Rubio suggested he is behind Trump because there are no other good options to block likely Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton from winning the presidency in November. But, for Beck, that is not reason enough to support the brash billionaire. Getty Images/David Calvert “Can you have any credibility when you said one thing on the campaign trail and then the opposite after. Were you lying to us then or now Marco?” Beck asked in a Facebook post Sunday evening. In response to Rubio’s decision, Beck praised former Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal for at least being honest in his unenthusiastic choice to back Trump. “I personally don’t understand it but I accept Bobby’s endorsement of Trump because it was truthful and I cannot fault him,” the conservative radio host wrote. “I don’t agree but at least he was not slimy.” But he didn’t offer the same to the retiring Florida senator. “Marco, you are either lying now or when you were running,” Beck wrote. “I don’t know which and I don’t care. You have no credibility with me any more.” See Beck’s original Facebook post below. — Follow the author of this story on Twitter: Follow @tregp Read more stories from TheBlaze Libertarians Select 2016 Ticket on Wild Convention Day, Party Chairman Candidate Strips on Stage (Seriously) ‘Enough is Enough’: Feinstein Unequivocally Defends Clinton, Urges Media to Drop Email Controversy Trump Campaign Manager Corey Lewandowski Offers Bizarre Response When Asked if Trump Offices Are Being Bugged ‘The End of Moral Absolutes?’: As ‘Christian Morality Is Being Ushered Out,’ New Study Reveals Where Americans Stand on Ethics Video Emerges of Boy Falling into Closed-Off Gorilla Exhibit at Ohio Zoo, Team Shoots Gorilla Source

  18. Memorial Day is a time to reflect upon the sacrifices made and the lives lost to protect Americans’ way of life. It’s a day most spend at home, so actor Rob Lowe recommended those who have the day off watch a movie — but many weren’t happy with his suggestion. The politically-attuned actor offered a friendly recommendation Sunday night, imploring his Twitter followers to watch “13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi,” which he described as the “perfect Memorial Day movie.” “13 Hours” portrays the 2012 attacks on the U.S. compound in Libya and depicts the way in which an armed forces team responded to the deadly situation. Then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has been criticized for her role in the attack, which left four Americans dead. Lowe said the Michael Bay flick is “a reminder of everything we should never forget.” However, the actor was slammed on Twitter for suggesting people watch the controversial movie on Memorial Day. Ultimately, “The West Wing” star chimed in, asking why “everything these days have [sic] to be politicized?” However, there were also many on the social media network who sided with Lowe’s movie recommendation, some deciding to watching the film after seeing the actor’s post, another saying it was “hard to watch,” but “powerful.” Even the author of the book “13 Hours,” which the movie was made after, thanked Lowe for his recommendation. — Follow the author of this story on Twitter: Follow @tregp Read more stories from TheBlaze Libertarians Select 2016 Ticket on Wild Convention Day, Party Chairman Candidate Strips on Stage (Seriously) ‘Enough is Enough’: Feinstein Unequivocally Defends Clinton, Urges Media to Drop Email Controversy ‘So Sickening’: What Vandals Have Done to Calif.
