  1. Hillary Clinton declined Monday to debate her Democratic opponent, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, ahead of California’s June 7 primary. However, Sanders appears to have found a candidate willing to face off with him on the debate stage — Donald Trump. Image source: YouTube During an appearance on ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” the host asked Trump a question, reportedly sent by Sanders: “Hillary Clinton backed out of an agreement to debate me in California before the June 7 primary. Are you prepared to debate the major issues facing our largest state and the country before the California primary, yes or no?” Trump’s response: “Yes, I am. How much is he going to pay me?” Kimmel replied, “You would do it for a price? What would the price be?” he asked. Without naming a dollar amount to guarantee his appearance in a debate against Sanders, Trump speculated the event would have “such high ratings.” Trump went on to say he would “take that money and give it some worthy charity.” Shortly after the segment appeared on Kimmel’s show, Sanders tweeted, “Game on. I look forward to debating Donald Trump in California before the June 7 primary.” Watch Kimmel make the pitch to Trump. — Follow the author of this story on Twitter and Facebook: Follow @stuntbrain Read more stories from TheBlaze See What Trump Did When He Was Reportedly Told He Didn’t Have Enough Time for the National Anthem At His Rally CNN Host Rips Trump for Floating ‘Shameful’ Vince Foster Conspiracy Theory ‘Untethered to Reality’ Santorum Reveals the One Issue That Led Him to Support Trump ‘100 Percent’ Watch Moment BLM Protesters Interrupt Milo Yiannopoulos Event — and See How Security Responds ‘Let Him Speak!’: School Board Candidate Silenced, Hauled Away by Police During LGBT Meeting Source

  21. A newly released audit from the State Department’s inspector general is critical of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton use of a private email server. It’s not the first time Clinton and her staffers have found themselves the subject of an IG investigation. For the Record obtained an October 2012 IG memo showing that Under Secretary of State Patrick Kennedy and then-Clinton chief of staff Cheryl Mills worked to block internal investigations by the State Department’s Diplomatic Security Service. The cases involved allegations of sexual misconduct and pedophilia by an ambassador and an ambassador-designate accused of sharing sensitive information with his girlfriend, a reporter for the Wall Street Journal. Rick Higbie, an agent with the Diplomatic Security Service and a State Department whistleblower, told For the Record that the goal was to make it easier to dismiss the cases later. “Under Secretary Kennedy and the chief of staff — I believe she was the chief of staff — in the secretary’s office, Cheryl Mills, were directly involved in doing everything that they could to stop investigations, to influence investigations, to impact their ability to go forward,” said Higbie. “Then later apparently, the easy way to deal with this is to say, ‘There is no evidence. What evidence?’” Read more stories from TheBlaze See What Trump Did When He Was Reportedly Told He Didn’t Have Enough Time for the National Anthem At His Rally CNN Host Rips Trump for Floating ‘Shameful’ Vince Foster Conspiracy Theory ‘Untethered to Reality’ Santorum Reveals the One Issue That Led Him to Support Trump ‘100 Percent’ Watch Moment BLM Protesters Interrupt Milo Yiannopoulos Event — and See How Security Responds ‘Let Him Speak!’: School Board Candidate Silenced, Hauled Away by Police During LGBT Meeting Source
