  5. Conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh was confronted on-air Monday by a rather aggressive caller asking him why he has yet to officially endorse the presumptive Republiacn nominee, Donald Trump. “I believe it’s time for the all-knowing, all-seeing Rushbo, the omniscient one, to come out and endorse Trump,” the caller said. Referring to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s comments on the Benghazi terror attacks, Limbaugh replied, “In the words of a famous and well-known politician: What difference does it make now?” But the caller was persistent: “He needs your endorsement! It’s that important! And it’s about time you did it!” Limbaugh noted that the primaries are technically still happening, and that Texas Sen. Ted Cruz even picked up some delegates in Washington. But the caller held that the primaries are effectively over and again asked, “Why won’t you?“ Limbaugh, noting that he’s never endorsed a candidate during the primary season, said, “I think it’s a moot point now,” adding that he never thought that it was so important for him to share his opinions on everything so his audience can follow his lead. “It’s not what I do,” he said. 9. After leaving the Obama administration in 2013, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton reportedly earned $21.6 million giving 92 speeches to various companies and organizations in North America. (Clinton gave 12 speeches in Canada, one in Mexico and was paid to speak at least 79 times in the United States.) Clinton’s speeches and the money she was paid have been campaign fodder for her Democratic presidential campaign opponent, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, and have been mentioned by presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump. Hillary Clinton speaks at Canada 2020 in Ottawa, Canada, Oct. 6, 2014. (Image source: Vimeo/Canada 2020) For her part, Clinton has consistently refused to release transcripts or videos of her speeches until all the candidates do the same. In early May, while speaking to NBC’s Andrea Mitchell, Clinton tied the release of her speeches to the release of Trump’s personal tax returns. “Let’s get Donald Trump’s tax returns out and the transcripts of his speeches. Because I am told he made a whole lot more money than I have,” Clinton told Mitchell. While the Democratic front-runner has not released transcripts or video of her paid speeches, TheBlaze has found a complete video from a Clinton speech from 2014. On Oct. 6, 2014, Clinton delivered the keynote address to Canada 2020 in Ottawa, Canada. The group is a progressive political organization with ties to the George Soros-funded Center for American Progress in Washington, D.C. The speech offered no ground-breaking ideas or proposals. The former secretary of state talked of the strong ties between Canada and America and the benefits of “working together.” Clinton does mention “building ladders of opportunity,” something heard regularly in her campaign speeches. Clinton was reportedly paid $215,500 for a 23-minute speech. That works out to just more than $9,100 per minute. 11. Local authorities in Port Neches, Texas, have decided to sell a small plot of public park land that currently hosts a large, 10-foot cross to a local church after an atheist activist group threatened to sue for its removal. City leaders decided to sell the 20′ x 20′ plot of land to First United Methodist Church for just $100 — a move that would essentially protect the religious symbol’s presence by converting the land from public to private, KBMT-TV reported. The sale unfolded under Sec. 253.010 in Texas state law, which allows for properties to be sold to religious groups so long as those groups retain land locally and agree to revitalize it, according to Port Neches city attorney Lance Bradley. The cross — which the Freedom From Religion Foundation called “unconstitutional” in a November 2015 letter — was reportedly built by a local family who attend First United Methodist Church. So far, the Freedom From Religion Foundation is looking at the move with cautious optimism, essentially claiming victory, but with caveats. “We are taking this initial step as a victory. They divested themselves from a religious symbol and that’s a victory for state church separation,” said Rebecca Markert, an attorney with the organization. “The constitution requires no religious symbols be on public property. It’s typical that public land be sold to a private entity but not a religious entity but it is something we will be looking into.” A spokesperson for the Freedom From Religion Foundation later called the sale a “step in the right direction,” but said that the group wants to be sure that the move was entirely appropriate, and also wants there to be clear markers indicating that the cross is on private land. “One hundred dollars to a church seems pretty sweetheart to us and it seems like there was no bidding process,” the spokesperson said. “They can’t usually pick the buyer ahead of time. Even if all of that was kosher, we still have the concerns that the cross is still located within the park, even though the parcel is on private property.” If the Freedom From Religion Foundation finds that the sale didn’t go through the proper channels then “it’s not a closed case,” the group said. – Follow the author of this story on Twitter and Facebook and check out his new book “The Armageddon Code: One Journalist’s Quest for End-Times Answers”: Follow @BillyHallowell Read more stories from TheBlaze Parents Find Horrific Injuries on 1-Year-Old Son — And They’re Stunned When They Learn Why Charges Are Being Dropped ‘Frozen’ Actress Responds to Campaign Urging Disney to Make Elsa a ‘Lesbian Princess’: ‘I think It’s Great…’ High School Graduates’ Defiant Response to Atheists’ Demand That the Lord’s Prayer Be Stripped From Commencement — and the Rousing Applause That Followed Elderly Book End-of-Life Talks Once Labeled ‘Death Panels’ Former NBA Star Accuses Fellow Train Passenger of Blatant Racism, Publishes Her Photo Online Source

  15. CAIRO (AP) — A senior Egyptian forensics official says human remains recovered from the crash site of EgyptAir Flight 804 have burns on them and are “very tiny,” which suggests an explosion may have taken place in midair on board the aircraft. AP Photo/Thomas Ranner The official is on the Egyptian forensic team and has personally examined the remains, kept at a Cairo morgue. He spoke to The Associated Press on Tuesday on condition of anonymity because he wasn’t authorized to release the information. He says the body parts are “so tiny” and that at least one piece of a human arm has signs of burns — an indication it might have “belonged to a passenger sitting next to the explosion.” All 66 people on board the flight from Paris to Cairo were killed in crash, which still remains a mystery.
