Do you have a fire extinguisher at home, in your car, or on your boat?

The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has issued a recall on certain Kidde fire extinguishers manufactured starting in 1972 to the present.  The recall is for disposable extinguishers with plastic handles.  These extinguishers have been sold for use in homes, vehicles and boats.

The extinguishers are being recalled because “The fire extinguishers can become clogged or require excessive force to discharge and can fail to activate during a fire emergency. In addition, the nozzle can detach with enough force to pose an impact hazard.”  Here’s the link to the recall page from the CPSC.

If you have a Kidde fire extinguisher with a plastic handle check to see if itÂ’s on the recall list by visiting the CSPC site. If it is recalled, the CSPC has a link to Kidde to get a replacement extinguisher.

Christian high school teacher Joshua Sutcliffe has told RT that he believes he is being bullied by the school that suspended him for ‘misgenderingÂ’ a student. Sutcliffe says he has been singled out due to his religion.
