  1. In light of Gehenna being the result of simply calling someone a "despicable fool" wouldn't it be dangerous to ones eternal life to call another person an "apostate"?

Should only men be allowed to do so in the congregation?

Or should any woman anywhere be allowed to call anybody an "apostate" without incurring the wrath of Jesus / Jehovah?

What sort of limitations are there on rebuking another person?

Jesus himself refrained from rebuking the Devil. Should Christians follow His example?

I've noticed a few photos recently of JW women all donning some sort of uniform similar to how airline stewardesses (I should say flight attendants) are typically dressed.

She looks fine above according to today's dress standard. I would call this a modern business look. However would it be wrong for her to wear pants below?

The suit jacket she is wearing (obviously made for a woman) would have been denounced as a woman dressing in men's clothes years ago.

    Have our standards changed?

This brings up many questions about fashion standards and whether all JW's should sport an official uniform or not?

Would Jesus have wanted his apostles to be dressed in a uniform?

Some might think I am being too picky talking about such issues. However I was raised with very strict JW dress guidelines so I am used to always questioning the appropriateness of apparel.

    Just some quick thoughts...

I'm glad to see them at least standing behind their cart.  Lately in Portland and Seattle I see the carts left in conspicuous places with no JW in sight.

I'm in a cranky mood tonight... so forgive me...

What percentage of children in Bolivia can purchase an iPad?

I remember years ago adapting to the country I would visit by NOT making a "showy display of one's means of life"

How is this an appropriate way to teach the world's poorest children to read, write and learn about the Bible?

Jesus could have easily created a 3D holographic display of the heavenly realms for all to see in Jerusalem... But did he?

Just because we CAN make great cartoons that entertain children... is that our true purpose?

Did Jesus say "for this I came into the world to show cartoons to children"?

We should spend more time teaching the Bible AND caring for their physical needs rather than be known as the new "Hi Tech" rich people that wander the earth showing first world PIXAR cartoons about the Bible to children.

    Just me venting tonight.....

Can you tell I am in a cantankerous mood tonight.... UGH!!!
