On May 1 I got baptized at the circuit assembly in Italy. I met Jehovah’s Witnesses when I was 15 years old. I started studying the Bible but my father was very angry with me for my decision and didn’t talk to me for more than a year. Because of the hard family persecution I couldn’t make any progress until I was 17. I waited two years faithfully, because Jehovah was on my side. I got baptized 5 days ago at 18 years old, and I can really say that Jehovah never left me alone, even though I’m alone in my family. Thank you to my lovely spiritual brothers and sisters for the help they’ve given to me in all these years. We have to be patient, God is not unrighteous to forget the love and the faith we’ve shown. I’m very glad to Jehovah for the help that He gives to me and I keep on loving my father a lot also even if he doesn’t think so.Photo shared by @ili_jw

Fortnightly meeting held in March 2016 at nursing home in Adelaide, South Australia. My father and a spiritual sister are long-time baptised residents; another man has become an unbaptised publisher since being there. He suffers from multiple sclerosis and is relatively young. The home allows us to use this room and are happy for visitors to attend too. They see the benefits to those in their care.
This was a very special 45 minute meeting during school holidays! 13, 14, 16 year olds did great talks that incorporated prepared video sections. Two young sisters did a Bible Study presentation. 86 year old brother did talk from the Jesus book. Plus other short parts and videos too. Nursing staff say it has made the JW residents so much happier since it began a few months ago. So happy to be a part of it on this one occasion and so proud of these young ones! Our pioneers experience first hand the joy that comes from giving and teaching others. They do an amazing job at imitating the Great Teacher, Jesus when they teach others about his sacrifice and our creator, Jehovah. This week in the U.S. people are doing little things to show or express appreciation to the hard work done by teachers, primarily school teachers. We wanted to do a little something to thank those sharing in the full time service. Stay tuned and see the gifts we’re making for our local pioneers ?

This is not to discredit the efforts and sacrifices made by publishers, or others who spend time in the ministry. We each are valuable and have a special place in this organization. ❤️

Serval The word Serval is derived from a Portuguese word meaning “wolf-deer.”
Size and Appearance: Often referred to as the cat of spare parts, this unusual, but beautiful cat is among the feline family’s most successful. It has a small, delicate head and extremely large ears set on an elongated neck, long slim legs (hind legs longer than front), long slender body and a shorter tail than most cats. The ears are black on the back with a distinctive white spot, and the tail has 6 or 7 black rings and a black tip. The coat color is pale yellow with black markings, either of large spots that tend to merge into longitudinal stripes on the neck and back, or of numerous small spots, which give a speckled appearance. These “speckled” Servals from west Africa – called servalines – used to be considered a separate species Felis brachyura, until it was demonstrated that the speckled pattern was just a variation or “morph”. Habitat: Servals are found in well-watered savannah long-grass environments, and are associated with reed beds and other riparian vegetation types. They occupy a variety of habitats all associated with water sources, they range up into alpine grasslands and can penetrate deep dense forests along waterways and through grassy patches, but are absent from rain forests. They will make use of arid areas in extreme instances, and have occasionally done so in parts of south-western Africa.
