The Librarian got a reaction from derek1956 in Jehovah and the Spider
CO, Steve Elumbaugh (Georgia Circuit 15) mentioned this in one of his talks.

    Jehovah and the Spider
During World War II, the persecution had been intense. Alone in the jungle, a brother could hear the soldierscoming in his direction.  Scrambling for cover, he found his way up a high ridge to several small caves in the rock.Quickly he crawled inside one of the caves. Although safefor the moment, he realized that once the soldiers lookingfor him swept up the ridge, they would quickly search allthe caves and he would be killed. As he waited, he prayed, asking Jehovah, if it be your will, please protect me.Whatever your will though, I love you and trust you. Afterpraying, he lay quietly listening to the enemy begin to draw close. He saw a spider begin to build a web over the front ofhis cave.  As he watched, listening to the enemy searching for him all the while, the spider layered strand after strand of web across the opening of the cave.‘Hah,’ he thought. 'What I need is a brick wall and what Jehovah has sent me is a spider web.’  As the enemy drew closer he watched from the darkness of his hideout and could see them searching one cave after another. As they came to his, he prepared himself for death.  To his amazement, however, after glancing in the direction of his cave, they moved on.  Suddenly, he realized that with the spider web over the entrance, his cave looked as if no one had entered for quite a while.  'Jehovah, forgive me,’ prayed the young man. 'I had forgotten that in you a spider’s web is stronger than a brick wall.’  We all face times of great trouble.  When we do, it is so easy to forget what Jehovah can work in our lives, sometimes in the most surprising ways.  And remember with Jehovah, a mere spider’s web can become a brick wall of protection.Via

Noteworthy in this regard are these words found in the first issue of this journal (July 1879):
“Courage . . . my Christian brother or sister, seeking with weary step to run the narrow way. Heed not the rugged course; it is all hallowed and sanctified by the blessed feet of the Master. Count every thorn a flower; every sharp rock a milestone, hurrying you onward to the goal. . . . Keep your eye fixed on the prize.”

Brothers and sisters, this is just a warm up for all of us.  Do not always believe in what you hear. (Read the article:http://wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/2013923)

Follow the proper channel and remember the moral lesson of 1Ki 13:11-24.  If there's anything that the GB needs us to know, there will be a letter to the elders.

By doing so, we don't spread any rumours because if we do, we are actually going against the spirit.

Note:  we always see many asking if there were any letters or bethel 'morning worship' announcements, stating not to mention in social media.

Today it's Jehovah's Witnesses. Tomorrow it may be the Protestants or Catholics who are getting skewered by the state officials. It may even be the Russian Orthodox Church.

The Librarian reacted to TrueTomHarley in Jehovah’s Witnesses Mobilize Global Response to Threat of Ban in Russia
There was a report (does anyone have it?) that our brothers in Russia have withdrawn all appeals and have instead requested the largest possible courtroom for the April 5th hearing, the 'overflow' courtroom. Though I haven't confirmed it (you may know all about it) it is exactly what they would do - play this out before the largest possible audience.
It is just how Jehovah is having it play out on the world wide today. The GB invites us to write, to bring our gift to the altar. Our people respond to such an enthusiastic degree that national Post Offices are getting crushed.  Of course, this leads to publicity everywhere as to just why that is, and the reason is astounding to non-Witnesses. I'd be surprised if every Witness in the world does not write to Putin or one of his chums. Surely, the world takes notice of a faith where each member takes such an interest in each other - especially since they risk getting run over in the parking lot of their own church once services are over. Putin may just load the letters on supertankers and sink them at sea - just how do you cope with millions of unexpected letters - but he cannot fail to be know that they exist.
Those who hate Jehovah's Witnesses join in the fray, writing letters in support of the ban, like the Edomites of Psalm 137 who screamed "lay it bare!' This almost makes it better, for it adds to the tonnage. But more importantly, everyone takes their place on the world stage. Let the people firmly and publicly divide themselves into the sheep or goats category. Perhaps the GB is luring them all, as with hooks in their jaws.
Meanwhile, note how our people conduct themselves. Note how extraordinarily respectful they are (as is seen in our videos) toward  Russian authorities. Note the Sept 2016 Study Wt article on Defending the Good News before courts, which is being used today as a template. Note how our respectful response is so contrary to what the world would expect that it only adds to the witness.
Let every person in the world become aware of and take a stand on this issue. If it is to be, let Russian officials look themselves in the mirror and publicly declare: "I believe, what with all the villains and scoundrels on the loose today in our country, that taking out Jehovah's Witnesses is the most important thing we can do."
The campaign may fail in its goal of swaying the minds of Russian officials. But it will not fall short in its goal of giving a massive witness. it will not fall short in stepping up the preaching work worldwide, as it presents fresh evidence that 'the time left is reduced.' It will not fall short in giving our Russian brothers tremendous reinforcement. For the rest of their lives, persons will approach them and say: "You crushed our Post Office. Just what kind of people are you, anyway?"
After all, if any of the hard or soft apostates here suffered the same hardships our Russian brothers are suffering, does anyone think their fellow apostates would come to their aid? Or would they just be roadkill?

This video reminded me of cat my mother used to have, many years ago, his name was Fred...........he used to sit on a stool at the end of the kitchen table, my mother would place his meal on his saucer, in front of him and he would pick up each piece of meat with one of his front paws and put it in his mouth. He would not start eating until we were at the table and started to eat.

Return to sender: Swedish man accidentally receives Vladimir Putin’s mail
Published time: 30 Mar, 2017 07:34Edited time: 30 Mar, 2017 07:36 Get short URL Russian President Vladimir Putin. © Aleksey Nikolskyi / Sputnik   A resident of a backwater Swedish town called Trelleborg was shocked to open his mailbox and find a letter addressed to none other than Russia’s president, Vladimir Putin. “What are Postnord playing at? Someone surely must have seen this letter, at the very least the postman who delivered it. Why has it been sent out then?” the local man identified only as Per told local newspaper Trelleborgs Allehanda.
Per was quick to point out that the only thing his home address has in common with the Russian president’s is the number 23, while also noting that the town of Trelleborg is roughly 1,532 kilometers (951 miles) from Moscow.
The current theory of PostNord, the Swedish-Danish postal service, is that one of their automated sorting machines did not read the address properly and sent it to Per in error.

“Sometimes, things go wrong when the machines do the sorting. Especially when they misread the address,” PostNord spokesperson Maria Ibsen told Trelleborgs Allehanda.
“We manage 1.8 billion letters a year and sometimes errors happen, unfortunately. Of course, it’s sad if Putin did not receive his letter,” she added.
Despite natural curiosity, when pressed on the subject by Trelleborgs Allehanda, Per insisted that he has not opened the letter.
“Yes, of course I am [curious]. The thought has crossed my mind to open and look. But I haven’t,” he told the paper.

Empezó a escribir poesía y a pintar.
