Studying the Bible when I was a child in 1979 looked SO much different. And it involved actual reading of the Bible.
Hmmm..
Will these children be prepared to defend their beliefs in the future with only a Bible in hand?

Not that curious at all. Every few years another celebrity is supposed to have become a JW. Brother Rutherford's "secretary" used to keep a running list of actual celebrities that had become JWs because she was into that sort of thing. The fact that several celebrities are or have been JWs makes new rumors more believable.
This one evidently started over a picture on the back of one of his CD's.

Good scripture, one of the best. (And it's our daily text for today: Sunday, 11/27.) But, I can't quite understand the connection to Rachel McAdams (as seen in Mean Girls, Dr. Strange, Sherlock Holmes, The Notebook, The Vow, etc). It seems like it's just another way of indicating that most of us, being human, require something physical to initially attract us to spiritual things. I wonder if this is the best way to express a message about spirituality, though.

The Danish Air Force navigated a new Sikorsky MH-60R Seahawk helicopter's landing on a warship under extreme weather conditions in the North Atlantic.
This landing was the final competence test for the pilots, who had waited 3 weeks for the weather to be suitably rough to pose a real challenge.
