The Librarian reacted to JW Insider in World’s earliest-known complete stone inscription of the Ten Commandments sells at auction for...
Per the info available, this list of the ten commandments does not include "You should not take Jehovah's name in vain." And it adds a new 10th commandment that one should raise up a temple on Mount Gerazim. The Hebrew is "Samaritan" style, which makes sense because Samaritans believed that true worship could only occur on Mount Gerazim (John 4:5-21)
Jesus replied, "Believe me, dear woman, the time is coming when it will no longer matter whether you worship the Father on this mountain [Gerazim] or in Jerusalem.
The original "Ten Commandments" were supposed to be from about 1500 B.C.E., or 3,500 years ago. This might be from nearly 2,000 years ago. Likely from a Samaritan synagogue destroyed between 400 C.E. and 1100 C.E.

The Librarian reacted to JW Insider in A lost sketchbook containing 65 drawings by Van Gogh has been discovered 130 years after he used it,...
As Melinda indicated these are not genuine. The best evidence I saw was given directly by the Van Gogh Museum just a couple of days ago. They knew it was fake back it was first introduced to them in 2008, then again in 2012, and now again in 2016. See: https://www.vangoghmuseum.nl/en/news-and-press/press-releases/found-sketchbook-with-drawings-is-not-by-van-gogh-according-to-van-gogh-museum

Understand from the newscast that they are not genuine Van Gogh drawings.

The Librarian reacted to Bible Speaks in Avoid Anxiety and Find True Peace
"But the one listening to me will dwell in security And be undisturbed by
the dread of calamity.”
(Prob.1:33.) Avoid Anxiety and Find True Peace As this present system comes to its close, stress and demands on your time will no doubt increase. How important, therefore, that you strive to apply the Bible’s counsel: “Do not be anxious over anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication along with thanksgiving let your petitions be made known to God; and the peace of God that excels all thought will guard your hearts and your mental powers by means of Christ Jesus.” Such peace is beyond the reach of anyone of a purely secular bent who sees no value in prayer.—Philippians 4:6, 7.
Yet, Jehovah will do even more than give you peace of mind. He will help you carry your load of responsibility every day if you “throw all your anxiety upon him.” (1 Peter 5:7; Psalm 68:19) It is therefore wise to listen to God each day by reading a portion of his Word. Who could possibly give you better advice than your Creator? (Psalm 119:99, 100, 105) Yes, experience has shown that those who put God in the center of their life are greatly helped to cope joyfully in today’s hectic world.—Proverbs 1:33; 3:5, 6.

@Blanchie DeGrate and @Queen Esther ... please say your "good-nights" and other niceties using the personal messenger between members instead of on the topic threads.
It will help the readers who are sifting through posts for informational reasons.
Big hugs to both of you.

Mormons weren't thinking outside the box enough.
Check out the JW version with padded seats and laptop holder PLUS two baskets... AND display racks:
Notice the display between the frame and chain... WOW.
Is that DUAL bells I see?
of course this is a girls bike... so it won't work for me.. ;-)
I am thinking we could add heated seat and electric motor propulsion plus some solar panels for night lighting.
