I have seen that as well, some parents use Sunday school as a babysitter, they probably also use the television set as a babysitter as well, and that is wrong, it's very obvious the parents are not interested in teaching their children about Jesus. The word 'Sunday School' is such an antiquated word, I and the church I am associated with prefer the term 'children's ministry'. and this is why....here is an example...why do schools have different learning levels? why don't they just send a 5 or 6 year old to college right away to learn?

Where I live it was customary to send children to Sunday School and the parents stayed at home.   We even have an elder whose mother chose to send him to the Kingdom Hall and he never left when he got older.  He is still an elder and happy to serve Jehovah.  The mother came into the truth years later, but she sent him from a small boy.
 

It is also good for those speaking to consider who it was that encouraged children to be a part of their audience. Jesus invited children, despite the wishes of the disciples: "People now began bringing him young children for him to touch them, but the disciples reprimanded them. At seeing this, Jesus was indignant and said to them: “Let the young children come to me; do not try to stop them, for the Kingdom of God belongs to such ones". Mark 10:13-14.
Then they should seek to also apply the words of Nehemiah 8:8: "And they continued reading aloud from the book, from the Law of the true God, clearly explaining it and putting meaning into it; so they helped the people to understand what was being read." . This includes children, surely?

Matthew9969     It is not adult content.( We don't have Sunday School where the parents send their children and they stay at home. Everyone learns together.)  Read what Jehovah said about it.
(Deuteronomy 31:12, 13) 12 Congregate the people, the men and the women and the little ones and your alien resident who is within your gates, in order that they may listen and in order that they may learn, as they must fear Jehovah YOUR God and take care to carry out all the words of this law. 13 And their sons who have not known should listen, and they must learn to fear Jehovah YOUR God all the days that YOU are living upon the soil to which YOU are crossing the Jordan to take possession of it.”
Learn to trust Jehovah. Jehovah knows it is good for children to sit quietly and listen.   They learn discipline by what they see they parents do.  If the parents pay keen attention, the children imitate that. If the parents chew gum, get up every half hour, talk while the speaker is talking, etc, that is what the children learn.  Little people are capable of much more than we think.
 

People do all sorts of crazy stuff when drunk. Alcohol lowers the inhibitions and brings out what the person is really feeling. So, what this person did while drunk probably reflects what he really would like to do, but when he is sober he manages to control those urges. Sadly, as Satan's time gets closer and closer to the end many more people will act the same way this person did; only, they will do so while sober. People really will show their true colours as this system groans on to the end.

Only the most paranoid nutcase would apply it to anything having to do with the Christian congregation.

I think this is the intended scripture quote in which Jesus directs us to worship the Father, Jehovah God.

Leave the brothers alone. Such petty fussing! I can see their point of not wanting people tramping all over the property unannounced. Think what it could lead to! Besides I think you are being very rude. We have much more important issues to attend to than quibbling over unimportant things like this. Be more positive

Jehovah is concerned that we keep our bodies clean and healthy. “‘You must not make cuts in your flesh for a dead person, and you must not make tattoo markings on yourselves. I am Jehovah.” (Leviticus 19:28) Male and female were created in the same form which is why men also have nipples. It serves no purpose in discussing the way we were created, except that it’s wonderful. (Psalm 139:14) For instance, it matters not whether Adam were created with or without navels.

Speaking of which . . . Have you seen how hard it is to get a Warwick tour? If you call today with just 2 people, you won't be scheduled until February. I got a construction tour over a year ago, but not much was finished, and there was mud everywhere. I'm driving my parents up in January. They've both been called in to work at Bethel for a few weeks on previous occasions (he's an electrical engineer). Even considering "connections" they couldn't find any openings in December for them when they planned on traveling. They will take 4 of us in January, though. 

They probably don't want to start a trend, as it could become touristic.

How amazing to know that the gadgets we're using now a days has long been foretold...believe it or not?

We are taught Be as young children, they love everyone. Never doubt others. We have all suffered in life. Jesus said invite the poor, crippled and lame for they have nothing to repay you. Who really are the poor, lame crippled if we never see who needs our help and Love?

Sad but true. Most people have scars or something from life that they are dealing with. Some cope better than others. Sometimes we simply don't know what to say. Well, that is something all of us can work on while we are practicing our presentation for Saturday also practice our presentation for Sunday when somebody is in need of a friendly smile and kind word. 

Is there "Lost Sheep" in Your Kingdom Hall?

She usually arrives on Sunday, and often comes quite late. 
Is she baptized or inactive? 
That's the question for debate. Few folks try to know her; some wonder and just stare. 
No one tries to dig down deep, to see who?s really there. 
In her purse is a funeral program, that is ragged around the ears.

It is yellow and all wrinkled; been soaked with many tears. 
She's looked at it many times, and knows the resurrection hope. 
But she still mourns her daughter; sometimes she just can't cope. 
Many people wonder, but no one ever makes a call. 
She's one of the lost sheep, sitting in your Kingdom Hall.

Her uncle used to rape her, when she was just a child. 
Her mother did not believe her, and said she was just wild. 
Jehovah blessed her and now she has the Truth. 
But she still lives with all the scars, of a stolen youth. 
They say she's mean and moody, so no one bothers her to call. 
She's one of the lost sheep, sitting in the Kingdom Hall.

She comes to all the meetings, service, even mingles with the friends. 
But once she goes back home, the heartache soon begins. 
She grew up in the Truth, and served Jehovah faithful all her life. 
And all she ever wanted, was to be a Christian wife. 
Now she's past the bloom of youth, and her dreams have not come true.

She's worried, frustrated, tempted; and scared what she might do. 
You probably think she's strong, and she doesn't need a call. 
But she's one of the lost sheep, sitting in your Kingdom Hall. 
When we search from door to door, to bring just one sheep in, Don't forget about the ones who are already in the pen. 
These are all true stories, of people at the Hall.

So take some time, look closely--and see who needs a call. 
We remember the youth, the sick, single parents and the old, But can we also try add. the others in our fold? 
Remember that Jehovah, doesn't want anyone to fall. 
So keep in mind, there just might be  some lost sheep inside your Hall.
