As if I have never written here about Jesus? You know I have intensely concentrated on Christ, since you've read many of my comments. How is it, that particular JWs on here have no problem spouting off lies? When people have to rely on lies to cut down their opponent, it shows that they have no other "ammo", but to slander. Just like the governing body. That's really okay. Jehovah’s Witnesses and other Sacred Name groups lit up the Internet last week when Religion News Service claimed, “The original Hebrew name of God re-discovered in 1,000 Bible manuscripts.” At first glance, it sounds like the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society has perhaps been vindicated after all for inserting the name Jehovah into their New World Translation: On January 21, 2018, Bible Scholar Nehemia Gordon and his team of researchers discovered the 1,000th Hebrew Bible manuscript containing the original name of God in Hebrew with vowels. For two hundred years, scholars have believed based on Greek sources and conjecture that the Hebrew name of God was originally pronounced “Yahweh.” In late 2016, Gordon found never-translated traditional Jewish sources that explicitly identified the vowels of God’s name in Hebrew as “Yehovah.” This is similar to the English Jehovah, but with a “Y” and the emphasis on the final syllable. This article, however, is more hype than reality. Nehemia Gordon is the leading light in a “revival” of a sect called Karaite Judaism. The Karaites originated in the late eighth century AD. They adhered, as do today’s proponents, to the written text of the Old Testament only, refusing both the Talmud and rabbinic traditions. They considered themselves purists, restoring true Judaism. They regarded use of anything other than the Old Testament as Pharisaism. Some of the Hebrew Roots Movement have been drawn to Gordon because he seems a bit friendly toward Jesus, yet he outright rejects the idea that Jesus is the Messiah. But what are we to make of the article’s claim of manuscript evidence for this Yehovah pronunciation of God’s name? Somewhere during the ninth and tenth centuries, a group called the Masoretes arbitrarily put vowels into the Old Testament text in an attempt to standardize pronunciations. The particular Hebrew Manuscript used was the text of ben Ashur. Until the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls, it was the oldest Old Testament text we had, and every translation team of the newer Bible versions used it. Again, the vowels are arbitrary, put into the text to standardize pronunciation. Wikipedia notes something important: It has been suggested that the ben Asher family and the majority of the Masoretes were Karaites. The vowels were added by the Karaites. The ben Ashur text – or most of it – is held by Israel. Some of it is lost. It is called the Keter (Crown) and is also referred to as The Aleppo Codex: The Aleppo Codex (Hebrew: כֶּתֶר אֲרָם צוֹבָא‎ Keter Aram Tzova or Crown of Aleppo) is a medieval bound manuscript of the Hebrew Bible. The codex was written in the city of Tiberias, in what is currently northern Israel, in the 10th century C.E. So, what we essentially have is a late Jewish restorationist movement (and you thought we only had that in “Christendom”), adding vowels to the Hebrew text and then claiming a newly discovered confirmation of the pronunciation of God’s name! So, while the headlines may appear to be a breaking story of newly discovered information, it is not new, and the story is contrived. Realistically, how newsworthy would a headline be, reading “One-thousandth Copy of Tenth Century Hebrew Bible with Vowels Arbitrarily Added Has Been Discovered by the Sect That Added the Vowels”? Like most Watchtower Society “proofs,” it provides no proof at all — just much ado about nothing.

You might want to get your facts straight. I have never "denounced" YHVH/YHWH. I use it frequently. And I have never denounced "Adonai", or "Abba", or the "Ancient of Days", or "Elohim". It is not blasphemy to say the "Almighty God", or "Father" as Jesus did. In fact your own bible uses the phrase "Almighty God". If you think one is righteous for uttering the name "Jehovah", I feel very sorry for you.

You are not understanding. Therefore you pray in this way: “Our Father who is in heaven, may Your name be treated as holy.” Matt 6:9 Jesus and his disciples never used a word that is a mix of consonants and vowels put together by men, as a way to show respect to the Father. The use of that hybrid didn’t happen for centuries later. Does this mean that the Christians in the first century were “disrespectful” for not saying, “Jehovah”? You can say, “Jehovah” a hundred times a day and it proves nothing. It does not prove that you respect the name of God. It does not prove that God is your Father, especially if you follow the doctrines of men. To treat God’s name as holy means respecting and adhering to His laws in Jesus Christ. In the Kingdom, the faithful anointed who will rule with Jesus will have “on their forehead”, the name of God and of Jesus. Do you believe this is a literal tattoo on their forehead? Do you believe they will be verbalizing the name, “Jehovah”, or does this meaning of Rev 14:1, go deeper? “And you shall put these, My words, on your heart and on your inner self, and you shall bind them as a sign on your hand and let them be as an emblem between your eyes. And you shall teach them to your children by talking about them when you sit in your house and when you travel on the road and when you lie down and when you get up.” Deut 11:18,19 For this is the covenant that I will decree with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I am putting My laws in their minds and I will write them on their hearts, and I will be their God and they will be my people. Heb 8:10 We are respectful of the holy name of God, by our choice to follow only His laws in Christ, that those laws only, are holy. (Matt 6:9) Since your leaders change doctrine regularly to accommodate their reign, riches, and reputation, they show no respect for the teachings of Jesus Christ, and they show no respect for the Almighty God. They demand their laws, the laws of men, to be written on one’s forehead; symbolically, in the heart and mind of JWs. (Rev 13:11,12,14,16,17; Matt chapter 23)

How can anyone treat a hybrid name compiled around the 14th century or so, with "disrespect"? “Jehovah” is a modern mispronunciation of the Hebrew name, resulting from combining the consonants of that name, Jhvh, with the vowels of the word ădōnāy, “Lord,” which the Jews substituted for the proper name in reading the scriptures. What hold more weight in the mind of a JW, the doctrine of men who cannot tolerate any threat to their rule, or the words of God? “Anyone who does not remain in Christ’s teaching but goes beyond it does not have God. The one who remains in that teaching, this one has both the Father and the Son. 10 If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your home, and do not greet him; 11 for the one who greets him shares in his evil works.” 1 John 2:9-11 We are in the middle of a war of words, spoken by the sons of the kingdom, and sons of the wicked one. (Joel 3:14; Mal 3:18; Matt 13:38-43) Lies promoted by false teachers/prophets harbor the demonic intent to “deceive the elect”. (Matt 24:24,25; Col 2:8; 1 Tim 4:1; Rev 9:13:10, 5-7) This war against the “saints” is “inhouse”, not on the political battlefield of the world. (Luke 17:20) It is where a great army of “Gentile” elders have overcome a spiritual people – God’s priests of “Israel” - with a “flood” of lies. (Matt 24:15,16; 2 Thess 2:1-4; Rev 11:1,2;1 Cor 3:16;17; Rev 12:15; 16:13-16) How many times as a JW did we hear… “Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.” 1 Pet 5:8 He seeks to trample and devour the “kings of the earth”, (Rev 1:5; 16:14; 20:7-9) and although the anointed believe Satan is in the wicked world outside of the organization, outside of their “spiritual paradise” and “peace and security” (1 Thess 5:3), Proverbs gives us a better perspective. The lazy person claims, “There is a lion in the road! There’s a lion in the streets!” 14 The door turns on its hinges— as does the lazy person on his bed. Prov 26:13,14 Anointed "Priests" and prophets must warn people according to God's truth...for their protection, awareness, and vigilance to present danger (Jer 28:8; Ezek 3:4,18; Mal 2:7; Dan 12:3,10; Matt 24:45). The war is not over yet! (Rev 12:17; Eph 6:12; 2 Cor 2:9; 11:3; 10:4-6; Matt 24:13,11,10; 10:22; Luke 13:24) Any "walls" erected by men, to keep Satan out are an illusion...as long as he still dominates the world (1 John 5:19; Eph 5:15,16). Our only true protection is the meaning of YHWH's name (Prov 18:10) which is that HE is our only saviour (Isa 43:11; 2:22; Rev 14:7; Ps 146:3; 118:8). We must have faith and trust in HIM and the truth of His Word, (not the doctrines of a human organization -Jer 17:5; 1 John 4:1; Mark 7:7,8), in order to possess a realistic spiritual shield (Eph 6:13,16). The anointed are not protected from Satan's machinations by means of a membership in an organization, nor by obedience to it. Well, God wouldn't be interested in say, a Buddhist Temple, since His people are not involved with one. But, I do admit that He is very interested in a counterfeit temple found in the same realm where His people are. And this one, will face destruction because His people are idolizing it - "Jehovah's earthly organization", "Zion". Rev 13:1-4

Isn't it amazing that they have to say that the man of lawlessness "sits" in a counterfeit temple, and is Christendom. Do JWs check God's word to verify this? NO! They keep gulping down the lie. THEY DON'T CARE. How can "God's Temple", or "the temple of God" as 2 Thess 2:4 calls it, be defined as a counterfeit temple? What does God think about that? And what about Rev. 11:1,2? "Then I was given a reed like a measuring rod. [a]And the angel stood, saying, “Rise and measure the temple of God, the altar, and those who worship there. 2 But leave out the court which is outside the temple, and do not measure it, for it has been given to the Gentiles. And they will tread the holy city underfoot for forty-two months". These scripture reiterate that... #1 - the "man of lawlessness" made up of "Gentiles", "sits" in God's Temple #2 - the "Gentile" times are NOT over #3 - the Temple of God are the anointed priests and dwelling of His Holy Spirit. (1 Pet 2:5,9; 1 Cor 3:16,17; Eph 2:20-22) #4 - The only people or nation that can "sit" in the Temple of God, which the anointed priests are members of, are those who replaced them as priests, and those who can rule over them. The elder body. Thus, #5 - The elder body is the "man of lawlessness", "standing where it should not" (Mark 13:14) If the "abomination that causes desolation", which is the "man of lawlessness", was standing/sitting in a counterfeit temple, would it matter where it was found? God wouldn't be interested in a counterfeit temple. What does that have to do with His people? His focus is on His own dwelling in spirit, in the hearts of the anointed. (2 Cor 6:16) #6 - The position of the elders as representing the priesthood "cannot be challenged". Such an arrogant, high-sounding statement, isn't it! “His armed forces will rise up to desecrate the temple fortress and will abolish the daily sacrifice. Then they will set up the abomination that causes desolation. 32 With flattery he will corrupt those who have violated the covenant, but the people who know their God will firmly resist him. “The king will do as he pleases. He will exalt and magnify himself above every god and will say unheard-of things against the God of gods. He will be successful until the time of wrath is completed, for what has been determined must take place. " Dan 11:31,32,36 "He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God." 2 Thess 2:4 The beast was given a mouth to utter proud words and blasphemies and to exercise its authority for forty-two months. 6 It opened its mouth to blaspheme God, and to slander his name and his dwelling place and those who live in heaven. 7 It was given power to wage war against God’s holy people and to conquer them. And it was given authority over every tribe, people, language and nation. Rev 13:5-7 Elders, you need to get of there. You, and all JWs need to FLEE. Matt 24:15,16. I fear the day when blind JWs will have their eyes finally opened to the identity of the man of lawlessness.

Actually, the press is keeping it alive, the victims of Wt. abuse are keeping it alive. This isn't something just from @Patiently waiting for Truth's past, it is happening and being reported almost on a weekly basis. No need to pick at scabs when the news is always refreshed. Many people don't like stuff like this thrown up into their face, for a reason. I suggest you get use to it. And I was thinking how a sexual predator grooms his victim, sometimes over a period of years, as happened in my case. The victim comes to trust the predator, and then the predator swoops in to commit his crime. From there, threats may be issued. The victim must remain silent, or face serious consequences. The victim becomes the predator's slave. I thought of this after making my last comment about the need to trust the GB, "because God and Jesus do". These guys are spiritual, sexual predators. They win over their victims with smooth words, and it can take years of indoctrination, leading JWs to come to "trust" the GB. Until something clicks, one too many lies alert the victim that they have been abused by con artists. They have been cheated of truth in Jesus Christ. (2 Cor 11:3,4,13-15,20) As can happen, the victim is threatened with loss of family, loss of status in the congregation, loss of God's love if they speak what these "Harlots" have been doing, how they transgressed the victim's personal spiritual relationship with God and Christ. Yes, especially men who, without so much as a blink, tell you that God and Jesus trust them, so you must trust them also. Who, in their right mind would make such an arrogant stand before the Almighty God, unless they were narcissistic, without one humble bone in their body? They defy God and His principles of righteousness. They believe their sins are glossed over by God and Jesus, that they will not be held accountable for their record of false teachings. But then, I don't believe they feel they do sin. They have convinced JW's that these men have already been found acceptable to rule in the kingdom of God. Those on the elder body who display the same narcissism, believe they will rule over JW's on the earth. None of this, is God's plan.

Or, perhaps not a savior, but it seems to be a symbol of judgment. 1 Cor 10 :6-10 I think you've got it a little backwards. Jesus described the Pharisees, the leaders of his people, as a "brood of vipers". Matt 3:7 So, it is true that you are walking about in a den of snakes (no less), but the snakes, who "deceive the elect/chosen" and all JWs, are your leaders. Matt 24:24,25

Some people here will say the history of the organization and its failed teachings, matters not. But, obviously, the present GB select tidbits from it, to support its present mission. More than tidbits actually, they have developed their history museum at Bethel. I hope you peel back the layers of Wt's history, to see conclusive evidence that Jesus has never "inspired" an organization or its people, who rely on earthly currency, fleshly pursuits, and the physical labor of men...nor has God. (Matt 6:19; Phil 3:18,19; James 3:14,15; 2 Cor 11:20; Gal 1:10) Its inspiration comes from another spirit. (Matt 24:24; 1 Tim 4:1) Paul said, as did Stephen who was stoned, that God does not live in temples made with hands". (Acts 7:48-50; 17:24) Despite A. Morris' desire and determined positive stance that the "mountain-like organization" will sail through Armageddon in one piece, it will not happen. (Zech 4:6,7; Rev 8:8,9; 18:4-8)

Wt 2019/10/5 page 5 – “By the end of 1919, Jehovah’s people were reorganized and energized. Additionally, several important prophecies involving the last days had been fulfilled. The testing and refinement of God’s people, foretold at Malachi 3:1-4, was complete.” What were those prophecies fulfilled? "Jehovah’s people had been released from their symbolic captivity to 'Babylon the Great,' and Jesus had appointed 'the faithful and discreet slave.' This slave, which I understand was Russel, would have been “faithful” to the doctrines of Jesus only, and not to those of men. (Mark 7:6,7) He would have been “discreet” (meaning “intelligent, wise”) about what was taught, don’t you think? His books are not used by your own organization. You know what is rather amazing about this? Your leadership says, there was no “faithful and discreet slave” in the first century! What did Jesus call those then, who were “faithful” until death, preaching his word throughout the area of the world they knew? If they were faithful to the word of God, they were found “intelligent, wise” in God’s truth, before their Master. (Luke 19:11-27; Rev 17:14) “But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come.” John 16:13 That is also interesting, isn’t it? Your past and present leadership keep getting “what is to come”, wrong! Jesus said that is a sign that they are not part of him, not part of the vine of Christ and recipients of the Spirit of truth. Their “fruit” does not prove they are Christ’s disciples. (John 15:1-8,16) What were the many “prophecies” after that, that Rutherford made which weren’t fulfilled? Any JW can research this online; and they should ,without fear. Mal 3:3 (from the quote above) – “And He will sit as a smelter and purifier of silver, and He will purify the sons of Levi and refine them like gold and silver, so that they may present to the Lord offerings in righteousness.” From 1914 to 1919, Jesus apparently came to his Temple - to his anointed living stones (1 Pet 2:5,9; 1 Cor 3:16) which included Rutherford, if he was anointed. The Wt is saying that from among all of the anointed, he cleaned out, removed, those who would create stumbling blocks against the truth - his truth, God's truth. This would be anything spoken by an anointed one, that defiled his teachings. The stumbling blocks would be created by men, who call them, truth. Their hearts and desires were analyzed - measured, according to scriptures - according to the word of God. (Zech 4:8-10; Amos 7:7,8; Rev 11:1,2) (Isa 43:21; 1 Pet 2:9; 1 Cor 3:10) They would have been refined from all false teachings as Mal 3:1-4 states. In 1921, Rutherford published the book, “Harp of God” which the GB member David Splane spoke about at the annual meeting. He built that book up, practically putting it on a pedestal. How? Not by what was stated inside its cover, but by saying over 6 million of copies had been circulated. This book was to “make it easier for people to come into the truth”, a “simple” book. If this book was so wonderful, truthful, and easy to learn from, why is it not on your website? Have you read this book? Have you noticed its lies that are discarded by the organization today? This book was a spiritual plague that did not bring people into the truth, but brought people into captivity to men, and their selfish motives to produce what their hearts desired. (Jer 23:16; Luke 6:45; Matt 7:15-20; 1 John 4:1; 1 Tim 4:1; 2 Cor 11:13-15) If Christ came and cleansed his living Temple ( 2 Cor 6:16) of all defilement between 1914-1919, does that not include lies that contradict his word? Have you considered how these men came to the conclusion that it took Jesus 5 years to cleanse the temple? Where is the scriptural proof? And did he overlook the heart of Rutherford, by allowing him to teach lies? (John 2:25; 1:1; Heb 4:12) Are Rutherford's lies excused, yet Christendom’s lies condemned? The Harp of God, along with many others, is far from an ‘offering in righteousness”. Do JWs understand what “truth” is, and what “righteousness” in the sight of God, is? (2 Thess 2:9-12) Is this “truth”…? “ In 1831 the first locomotive steam engine was invented. Such wonderful progress has been made in this regard that now one can travel through almost any part of the earth at a rapid rate upon a railway train. Later came the electric engines and electric motor cars and gas engines; and now there is a tremendous amount of travel in every part of the earth. It is no uncommon thing for one to travel at the rate of 75 and 100 miles per hour; and particularly is this true by means of a flying machine, which is a very modern invention. God’s Prophet designates this same time as “the day of God’s preparation”. In Nahum 2:1-6 the Prophet records his vision of a railway train traveling at a high rate of speed, as another evidence of the day of preparation for the establishment of Christ’s kingdom.” P. 124 Harp of God We either strive to understand and come to love the word of God in Christ, or we prefer the empty, worthless words of men, such as found in publications continually discarded by your leadership. Although the organization judges an individual as worthy or unworthy of God's Spirit based on man's word - doctrine, Jesus said, "The one who rejects me and does not accept my teachings has one who judges him: the word which I spoke. That will judge him on the last day." John 12:48

Wt 13/7/2015 p. 11 – “Jesus began to inspect the spiritual temple in 1914. Jesus’ work to inspect and cleanse that temple lasted from 1914 to the early part of 1919. Since 1919, anointed ones have been gathered into the cleansed Christian congregation.” The anointed are the spiritual Temple of God, even though recent “new light” revealed by GB member G. Losch, is saying otherwise; said, without the use of any scriptural application to support his uninspired teaching. (1 Pet 2:5;1 Cor 3:16,17; Eph 2:20-22) What are the anointed cleansed of, when entering the organization? Are they cleansed of the weeds, as this article suggests are the people who left the organization during Rutherford’s tyrannical rule - this man, who continually set dates for Armageddon that proved false? Obviously, the anointed were not cleansed of false predictions which they preached at one time as truth. (Deut 18:20-22) They were not cleansed of doctrine proven to be false. (Matt 15:9) Are they cleansed of extolling an earthly organization, instead of extolling and praising only God and Christ? (2 Pet 1:16,17; Heb 1:1-4) Are they cleansed of idolatry? (Exod 20:4,5; 23:13; 2 Cor 6:16; Acts 17:24; Rom 1:25; Rev 13:4) Are they cleansed of following the dictates of men not inspired but who compare themselves to the apostles, and who expect dedication and allegiance to this earthy organization, over and above devotion to the Father and the Son, as the example set by the early inspired apostles? (2 Cor 11:13; Col 2:8-10,20-22) People who give full devotion to the Father and the Son are disfellowshipped. This seems to indicate that the organization cleanses itself from the faithful ones, that Jesus calls out of Wt. darkness! (Matt 5:11; 10:22; John 16:2; Rev 13:15; 11:1-3,7; 6:9-11; 2:2-5; 3:8-12) What sort of sacrifices of praise do the anointed priests give to God and their Head, Jesus Christ? They give what false prophets put in their mouth – lies. (1 Tim 4:1; Rev 16:13-16) They allow “Gentile” elders to take their place as priests and teachers of God’s laws in Christ. (Exod 40:15;Num 18:7; Mal 2:7,8; 1 Pet 2:5,9) They allow elders to judge them based on accepting or rejecting the lies of a wicked slave. (Matt 24:48-51; 5,16; 2 Thess 2:3,4; Rev 13:11,12,5-7) They've allowed God's sanctuary to be defiled by the "abomination"/elder body standing where it does not belong. (Mark 13:14) Have they followed in the footsteps of Christ by rejecting ALL falsehoods, doctrine and obedience to men as Jesus’ example while on earth shows us? Have the anointed died for the sake of Christ and his teachings? Or, do they harbor the fear of losing the life they have built while in the organization, which falsely promises “peace and security”, if one remains inside? (Jer 23:16,17; 1 Thess 5:3) Or, do they love what this life provides them, instead of reaching out to Jesus Christ who advises them to “buy” from him, wisdom and truth? (Prov 23:23;John 14:6; Rev 3:18) They are held captive to false teachers/prophets and their elder troops. (Matt 24:24,25; 2 Thess 2:3,4; Rev 9:3-5; 11:1,2; 20:7-9) The harvest is ongoing inside the organization. The “weeds” are those “sons” who bend their backs to the deceptive power of men over them, and adopt a new father to lead them. (Matt 8:11,12; John 8:42-44; Gal 1:10) The “wheat” are the “sons” who reject this power, and subject themselves to their King, Jesus Christ. (Matt 13:37-40) No one is “wheat” in God’s eyes, when they tolerate false teachers who produce rotten fruit! JW leaders have successfully mocked God and Jesus Christ, by claiming that uninspired JW elders (which represents the person teaching in this picture) and JWs in general, will fill in Noah, Samuel, David and Daniel about Jesus Christ, when the Kingdom arrives. These men were all prophets who foretold the coming Christ. God put the words in their mouths. (Jer 1:9; Isa 51:16; 59:21) Will He stop inspiring them with knowledge in the Kingdom? The spiritual Temple of God's dwelling in spirit is built on the apostles and the prophets, with Jesus as the chief cornerstone. They do not need anyone to "reveal" to them, what happens in Armageddon. All of their truthful words come together, and are proclaimed against "Israel" in the last days. (Eph 2:20-22; Rev 10:7;22:6) We can see why. The picture is a deceptive lie. On its most debased level, we have a man in dress clothes and tie, with a printed chart lecturing prophets, who sit on wooden stools. The uninspired man/elder is exalted, while the prophets are demeaned. And you accept this, JWs? This is a mockery, blasphemy and stupidity. I'm sure your leaders or "helpers" are checking in here. To them, I give these scriptures: "Offer to God a thank offering and pay your vows to the Most High. NOT PAYING VOWS TO AN ORGANIZATION 15 And call me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will glorify me.” 16 But to the wicked God says, “What right have you to recite my statutes and mention my covenant with your mouth, 17 while you yourself hate discipline, and cast my words behind you? 18 When you see a thief, then you are pleased with him, and your association is with adulterers. 19 You give your mouth free rein for evil, and you harness your tongue to deceit. 20 You sit and speak against your brother; you slander your mother’s son. 21 These things you have done, and I have been silent; You imagined that I was just like you. I will rebuke you and present an argument before your eyes. 22 Now consider this, you who forget God, lest I tear you apart, and there will be none to deliver. 23 He who sacrifices a thank offering honors me, and he who orders his way; I will show him the salvation of God.” Ps 50:14-23

These words were spoken recently by S. Lett, member of the governing body during the annual convention. He was referring to the news media, clergy and apostates; and along with them, is the entire ‘worldly’ influence that JWs must guard against. He informed them that the wicked who are trying to assimilate them into their world, are numbered “900 to one”; the estimated ratio of the earth’s population, to the count of JWs. This means all peoples outside of the organization have been judged by the “governors” as wicked. Undoubtedly, his estimate would manufacture a variety of emotions; apprehension and fear toward those not JWs, along with a sense of chosen “righteous” privilege, assumed by members cloistered within the organization’s walls. (1 Cor 13:4; Prov 30:12-14; Jer 48:29; Isa 66:5,6; Matt 5:11,12; John 15:20; 16:2; Heb 13:13; Rev 13:15) Satan imparts the skills of deception to his ministers who fall in step with his covert operation, but since deception hides the true intention of his works, how do we identify and locate his ministers? (Deut 18:20-22; Lam 2:14; Jer 23:17; 1 Thess 5:3; Luke 6:26; John 8:44; 2 Cor 4:3,4; 11:4; 1 Tim 4:1,2) Using the familiar phrase heard while in the organization, we “examine the scriptures”, or as the speaker put it, “by diligent study” of God’s word. (Prov 24:3;2 Tim 2:15; 3:16,17) This leader stated: “In the near future another powerful enemy will come against us. This formidable foe is a coalition of nations called Gog in Ezekiel 38. It says that Gog will come with a great assembly, a vast army like clouds covering the land. They will come against God’s people. Now this could be a very intimidating situation. But dear brothers and sisters, your faith will make you stronger than Gog and will keep you stronger until Jehovah miraculously intervenes at Armageddon; and if you think about it, Armageddon is a rescue operation. He will intervene and he will sweep attacking Gog away forever with a broom of annihilation.” “Gog of Magog” is a term frequently used in the organization lately. The biblical definition of “Gog, the land of Magog”: Gog –“mountain”, the name of an Israelite, also of some northern nation. Of the prince of the land of Magog Magog – land of Gog, a barbarous northern region/territory; also a great and powerful people under the name of a man (Gen 10:2) Is it true that Gog of the land of Magog, is showing up during Armageddon as a great pool of national armies? (Ezek 13:9) These leaders are projecting spiritual fulfillment in politics and its rulers, in the same way that they have used prophecy of the destruction of early Jerusalem to Christendom’s downfall, by calling it the “antitypical Jerusalem”. After decades of this teaching, they recently stated that there is no scriptural basis to fit Christendom into this role. So, who does fill this role? Judgment and condemnation in the last days is where “New Jerusalem”/”Israel” resides. (Rom 9:6; 2:28,29; Phil 3:3; Gal 4:26) Judgment comes upon God’s named people in the “saints”/anointed priesthood, under the wicked steward of God’s household. To these who are under covenant with God, prophecy has its fulfillment. (Isa 43:10; 1 Pet 2:5,9; Eph 2:20-22; Heb 3:6; 8:6-8; Ezek 5:5,6; 2 Chron 7:14; Jer 25:29; Isa 1:21; Luke 12:42,45; Rev 17:6; Luke 12:46; Hos 6:5; Jer 5:14; 23:29; Rev 18:8) Taking on another antitypical role for Gog of Magog leads to a conundrum in teachings. The organization teaches that its members are the “remnant” to have come out of Babylon the Great, the “empire of false religion”. (Rev 17:5) If they were faithful in their devotion to God and obeyed His laws, which JWs believes they are, would He allow this to occur to a perceived obedient people under His favor? (Lev 26:3,6) There is no biblical instance where nations plundered and persecuted His people when they were faithful, but plenty of examples to prove otherwise. (Lev 26:14,15,21,22; Jer 14:7,10;32:24; Ezek 5:13-15; Isa 29:7; Jer 6:6; Luke 21:20; Rev 20:8,9) However, the leader promised that persecution by the ‘news media, clergy, apostates’ and the nations cannot be avoided in the last days. Yet simply, most of this “persecution” is the result of the organization’s various dark doctrines coming to light; their rejection of the words of Christ, which ultimately they will face accountability for. (Ezek 5:14,15; Matt 10:26; John 3:19; 12:48; Rom 2:6-8; Eph 5:5,6,11; Heb 4:12; 2 Chron 36:15,16; Mal 3:1-3;Matt 17:11;Rev 11:1-3;14:6,7) Why did the nation of Israel suffer persecution by the Chaldean army of Babylon? Under the leadership of stiff-necked rulers, Judah was wicked, disregarding God’s laws and defiling the temple. (2 Chron 36:14; Hab 1:3,4,6; Zech 12:2) “Didn’t you exist before time began, O Lord, my God, my Holy One? We will not die! O Lord, you have appointed the Babylonians to bring judgment. O Rock, you have destined them to correct us.” Hab 1:12 The governing leader deftly avoided the true reason Gog of Magog attacked Israel in their day. There was no scripture cited to back up his untrustworthy prediction. “You will come from your place in the far north, you and many nations with you, all of them riding on horses, a great horde, a mighty army. 16 You will advance against my people Israel like a cloud that covers the land. In days to come, Gog, I will bring you against my land, so that the nations may know me when I am proved holy through you before their eyes.” Why would Gog be used to prove God’s holiness? “I will turn you around, drive you on, and lead you up from the remotest parts of the north. I will bring you against the mountains of Israel.” “I will display my glory among the nations, and all the nations will see the judgment I have executed and the hand I have laid on them. 22 From that day forward the house of Israel will know that I am the Lord their God. 23 And the nations will know that the house of Israel went into exile on account of their iniquity, because they dealt unfaithfully with me. Therefore, I hid my face from them and handed them over to their enemies, so that they all fell by the sword. 24 I dealt with them according to their uncleanness and transgressions, and I hid my face from them.” Ezek 39:2,22-24 As a result of disobedience toward their covenant with God, Israel was promised discipline for their sin, which was manifested through Gog’s attack. (Deut 28:15,20,25,45,46) God’s supernatural show of unlimited power toward a repentant Israel, glorified His name not only among His refined people, but was witnessed among the nations. (Ezek 38:23; 39:6,7,22,28; Joel 3:17) Will JWs notice that Gog of Magog came upon Israel due to their repeated sin and gross abominations? Since the organization’s “Gog” is predicted to bring havoc, does this mean that JWs will be “exiled” to “Babylon the Great”, most of them arrested and taken into bondage, as happened to the nation of Israel? (2 Chron 36:18-20; Ezek 17:12) What it does mean, is they are still under symbolic “Babylon’s” influence of drunken confusion and darkness, leading to death. (Isa 1:21;28:14,15,18; Rev 8:11;13:11,12,15,16; Rev 17:1,5,6; 18; 17:2,1,15; Jer 51:7; 13:13; Ps 60:3; Zech 12:2; Obad 1:16; Rev 14:8; Jer 51:7,6; Rev 18:4) Their interpretation of Ezekiel’s Gog is nonsense and confusion. They have fabricated a storyline that is not even a “half-truth”, but a full-scale lie which has deceptively cloaked the identity of the army that has already come against anointed “Israel”. This powerful army does not tolerate rebellion against its authority. (2 Chron 36:14-17; 2 Sam 7:14;Prov 23:13,14; Ezek 28:2; Dan 2:33; 11:37; 2 Thess 2:3,4; Rev 11:1-3;13:5-7) “How inappropriate it would be to challenge or undermine the authority of appointed elders!” Wt 2000/8/15 p. 29 Will their perception of Gog eventually be scrapped, as their previous long-taught doctrine of the devastating locusts in Joel, as God’s holy people? Joel’s locusts are the northern army that came against Israel because of their rebellion and idolatry. As we see in the above magazine quote, the great “army” of elders fulfill that role, who represent the “image” of the “spirit-directed organization”/idol, having full authority given them by the governing leaders. They rule unchallenged over God’s holy people today, as they deceitfully “represent the royal priesthood”. (Ezek 38:4,7; Joel 2:1-5;1:4,6; Dan 11:16,31; 8:25; 2 Thess 2:4; Rev 9:2,3,7-9, Ezek 4:1-3; Lev 26:18-19; Rev 13:4,11,12,15, 5-7; Dan 8:24) The book of Revelation also tells us of Gog and Magog. Rev 20:7-9 - When the thousand years are completed, Satan will be released from his prison 8 and will go out to deceive the nations at the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them for battle. Their number is like the sand of the sea. 9 They came up across the breadth of the earth and surrounded the encampment of the saints, the beloved city. Then fire came down from heaven and consumed them. This event is highly avoided by the governing leaders. Why? It is difficult to “sell” the idea of a thousand-year paradise after Armageddon, where war and death will be no more; and alongside this promise, enforce the contradictive false doctrine that this peace ends in an act of war, leading to the death of many. (Isa 2:4; Rev 21:4; Rev 13:16,17) Thus, the leaders deliberately ignore Gog and Magog of Rev 20:7. Apparently, they feel they must limit their own deceptions to preserve the appealing ones. (Ezek 12:21-28; Isa 30:10) Contrary to their “thousand-year” doctrine of peace, Gog and Magog show up when the symbolic thousand-year reign of Christ which began in the first century, reaches its end. (Ps 110:1,2; Prov 25:5; Matt 10:34; 1 Cor 15:24-28) Satan is freed from his inability to “perceive” how to enact his scheme, to deceive the “the elect”. (Ezek 38:10; Prov 24:8,9;1 Pet 5:8; Rev 12:1-3,12; Matt 24:24,25; 2 Cor 11:13-15; Prov 24:1,8,9; Col 2:8;1 Tim 4:1; Rev 13:10) Gog and Magog are marching on the earth when “Israel”/New Jerusalem is gathered and surrounded. (Hab 1:6-11) Satan and his army cannot deceive and surround the camp of the saints/anointed if they are ruling as heavenly faithful kings and priests in the Kingdom with Jesus Christ, and serving God in His Temple. (Heb 12:22; Rev 7:3,4,14,15; 22:3,4) Their number is “like the sand of the sea”. (Gen 22:17; Isa 10:22–23; Gal 3:26; Hos 1:10; 1 Pet 2:5,9,10; Rom 9:25-28) Christ’s anointed “kings of the earth”, the “beloved city”/ New Jerusalem, is surrounded today, and held captive by the “coalition” of an army of elders, wielding the weapon of deceit. (Rev 1:5; Lam 1:5; Isa 52:2; Col 2:8; Luke 21:24; 1 Cor 3:16,17; 2 Thess 2:3,4; Rev 11:1,2; 13:5-7; Eph 6:11,12). Since the organization’s inception, Satan and his “ministers”, the Harlot/false prophet and her Beast/organization, have gathered unsealed anointed, for the battle of Armageddon and its finale. (Joel 3:9-12,14; Rev 16:13-16; 17:1,3) Through worldly offers of riches, power and dominance, he has won over unfaithful ones of “Israel”, and their “helpers” who have carried out his inspired plan. (Luke 4:5-7; Hos 6:7; 2 Cor 11:2,3; 1 Cor 6:15,16;16; Heb 12:16; Matt 24:24,25; Rev 8:11; 9:1,2; 13:11,15; 19:20; 16:13; 20:10) Satanic deception during his “short time”, is at the core, causing a snowball effect that ultimately leads to the trampling of God Temple members. (Rev 20:3;12:12) (Isa 1:12,4,7) The final anointed remnant was ‘captivated’ by the organization’s message, misled by “signs and wonders” of false prophets. Although they made this choice when they took the bait, it led to breaking their covenant with God and Christ, and leaving truth behind. (Deut 13:1-5; Matt 24:24; 2 Thess 2:9-12; Dan 11:32; Hos 8:1; Ps 78:10; Mal 2:7,8) (Col 2:8; Rev 13:10; 1 Tim 4:1; Col 2:18,19) The have neglected their Temple responsibilities as God’s priesthood. (Mal 2:7; Isa 48:17-19; Amos 9:8-10; Ezek44:8-9;2 Chron 13:9; Jer 44:4; 7:30; 6:15; Dan 11:31; Matt 24:15,16) As Hab 1:12 tells us, the persecution that resulted was discipline that God’s people either responded to and repented for their sins (Ezek 39:25-29), or rebelliously ignored. (Lev 26:21-25; Prov 15:10; 1 Cor 11:32; Heb 12:7,8,11,15; Rom 11:7-10) When God disciplined Israel, famine was always the result. We see the earmark of spiritual famine, the absence of truth in God’s word, evident in the convention presentation. The leaders of spiritual “Israel” hide behind their refuge of lies and “treachery”. (Isa 28:14,15,22; Prov 23:1-3;Amos 8:11; 2Chron.15:3; Ps.74:9; Lev.26:26; Eze.4:10,11,12,13; Rev.6:5,6; Matt 7:15-20) Gog and Magog – the two Beasts of Rev. 13:1,2,11,12 – the Harlot and the Beast she rides – the false prophet and her organization/man of lawlessness that she directs…these identities and more, are one and the same. The characteristics of deceit are laced through the actions behind their titles. (Rev 16:13-16) Deception has successfully diverted God’s anointed priesthood away from truth in Jesus Christ. The elders have set themselves up over the Temple members of God, as an army that stands “where it does not belong”. There is no “reverence” that God demands toward His Temple/sanctuary/holy place; not by the leaders, by JWs in general, and not by the blind and deceived “kings of the earth”. (Lev 26:2; Heb 8:1,2; Num 18:7; 2 Chron 23:6,7; Ezek 44:7; Dan 11:31,32,36; Matt 24:15,16; Mark 13:14; 2 Thess 2:3,4; Rev 11:1,2) (1 Pet 2:5,9; 1 Cor 3:16,17; Eph 2:20) “You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot." God allows His Temple priests to be trampled, because they have lost their "saltiness" (Num 18:19; 2 Chron 13:5; Lev 2:13). These have abdicated their royal authority (Luke 10:19) and have allowed the Beast to remove their continual sacrifice ("constant feature") (Luke 10:19; Rev 17:13) as priests and kings, in favor of subjecting themselves to the Image / Idol, of the Wild Beast! (Rev 13:7,8; 2 Thess 2:4; Dan 8:11,24,25; 11:31,36; 12:11) (2 Cor 11:20; Col 2:8; Rev 13:10,7,8). For these offenses against their God, they must be disciplined and refined! No, they are not impossible to understand, it’s just that you chose the wrong analogy. GB member A. Morris once said that as the apostles had set decrees, so too, does the governing body. They have set their own analogy, in the manner of the apostles. But since these teach an earthly organization can be “inspired”, (“spirit-directed organization”), (Rev 13:15) while they personally are not, truthfully they are false apostles. “For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ.” 2 Cor 11:13 Since they pass doctrine and forecast dates of Armageddon and the coming Kingdom, they set their own analogy as prophets. But since these doctrines and predictions fail, they are truthfully, false prophets. “Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many.” Matt 24:11 Since they only, among all anointed, take on the role of dispensing spiritual food, they have set their own analogy as the “faithful and discreet slave”, teachers solely in charge of providing “fruit”/sustenance for the house of God. But since their teachings do not last, but rot, they are in essence, false teachers. “But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them—bringing swift destruction on themselves.” 2 Pet 2:1 “So then, you will recognize them by their fruit.” Matt 7:20 Putting themselves ahead of all Christ’s brothers and sisters, has set their own analogy as already deemed the “faithful and discreet slave”, but since they silence the anointed by telling them to obey the exalted elder body(2 Thess 2:3,4; Rev 11:1,2), which prevents them from acting as the priest/teachers God appointed them to be - offering their daily sacrifice as they should (Dan 8:11,12) – this GB is truthfully, the evil slave of Matt 24:48-51. “The kings (elders) of the Gentiles rule over their subjects, and those in authority over them (over the Gentile elders) are called ‘friends of the people.’(GB) But that’s not the way it will be with you. Instead, the greatest among you must become like a person of lower status and the leader like a servant.” Luke 22:25-26 These men set their own analogy by stating they are servants of Christ – "anointed" ones following the path Jesus set before us. But since they “kill” their own brothers and sisters who cannot accept their false teachings (Rev 13:11,12,15), they are truthfully, false “christs”. “False christs and false prophets will appear, and they will offer signs and wonders in order to deceive, if possible, those whom God has chosen.” Mark 13:22 There are many analogies to make concerning the GB, but Cyrus is not one of them.

Take note: I have told you in advance.” Through this captivity, the anointed worship the Beast, they give their obedience to men and the beast/organization. They bear its “mark”; but there are some who “conquer” the Beast/organization by sacrificing their life for Christ. (John 16:2; Rev 11:1-3,7; 13:15; 15:2) They also must repent to receive their “white robe washed in the blood of the lamb”. (Heb 10:22; Rev 7:14) The symbolic thousand years ended with the emergence of the Wild Beast from the Sea and the Beast with “two horns” like a lamb, but spoke like a dragon” – descriptive of false prophets. (Rev 13:11,12) Gog and Magog of Rev 20:7,8 = the two Beasts of Rev 13. One represents false prophets of “Israel”, (“Gog”), and one represents the “man of lawlessness”/organization (“Magog”) and an army that persecutes the saints. (Joel 1:4,7-10; Rev 8:10,11; 9:1-6; 13:5-7) The false prophet of Rev 13:11,12 directs the Beast from the Sea. Who directs the organization? Rev 20: “When the thousand years are completed, Satan will be released from his prison (Rev 9:1,2) and will go out to deceive the nations at the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them for battle.” The battle of Armageddon. There is no other battle once this one is finished as Daniel tells us. Dan 7:11-14,21,22,26,27 Rev 20:8,9 - “Their number is like the sand of the sea. 9 They came up across the breadth of the earth and surrounded the encampment of the saints, the beloved city. “New Jerusalem”/Temple of God. (1 Cor 3:16,17; Gal 4:26) Once the temple is sealed by the last capstone, (Zech 4:9,10) there is no way that the faithful saints in the Kingdom can be surrounded by Satan, Gog and Magog of Rev 20, while ruling with Jesus Christ. It is the anointed “kings of the earth” that are the primary target of this war. Rev 16:13-16 (Rev 1:5) And this war is one of DECEIT against the saints, as Rev 20:7 tells us. Deceit means lies, not a war of nations fighting with literal weapons. How can proven faithful, sealed anointed be deceived once reigning with Jesus Christ in the Kingdom? Rev 20:9,10 - “Then fire came down from heaven and consumed them. 10 The devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur where the beast and the false prophet are, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.” We already know that the anointed saints are surround by a number like the sand of the sea – the massive elder body who have usurped their position as God’s priests, ending their daily sacrifice to God. (Ezek 44:6-9) God promises no more death or sorrow in the Kingdom. The Wt doctrine of the thousand years ending in war, nullifies this promise from God. (Rev 21:4) He looks at the heart of each one of us during our lifetime, even those before Christ. He already perceives what we are made of, what are capabilities are. Becoming fleshly, mentally perfect will make no difference. Obviously, it didn’t for Adam and Eve. (1 Sam 16:7; Heb 4:13)
