I personally think that showing jealousy of another's success is an even bigger sin than making money by prudent and honest endeavours. Also the petty research to try and malign another persons reputation is also a sin.

I don't believe the maker of the video was showing jealousy; but instead, he was showing your leader  up as a hypocrite.  As this video also shows, about the vow of poverty that all in Bethel are under, including the governing body.

@Witness Why do you trust Pearl Doxey's explanations?

What if she gets demonic visions, but she believes they are from God?

I could ask, why do you trust your own explanations of the events that will occur in the last days?  You believe you are right, but you have not received a vision, have you?  So, how do you know that your account of the end that you feel is “truth”, is truth from Christ and not from another spirit?  What I see are your calculations and suppositions, yet, what you speak is a “prophesy”.  What the WT speaks about the end is also “prophesy”.  Jer 23:26

    He said:

    “Listen to what I say:
If there is a prophet among you from the Lord,
    I make Myself known to him in a vision;
I speak with him in a dream.  Num 12:6

Indeed, the Lord GOD does nothing without revealing his counsel to his servants the prophets.   Amos 3:7

Even so, we are to use scrutiny:

“If a prophet or someone who has dreams arises among you and proclaims a sign or wonder to you, and that sign or wonder he has promised you comes about, but he says, ‘Let us follow other gods,’ which you have not known, ‘and let us worship them,’ do not listen to that prophet’s words or to that dreamer. For the Lord your God is testing you to know whether you love the Lord your God with all your heart and all your soul.”  Deut 13:1-3

The WT is full of “signs and wonders”.  JWs are in awe of its accomplishments as they “follow” an organization which has become inseparable from their worship of “Jehovah”.  Rev 13:4

As @4Jah2me stated, we will know them by their “fruits” – their teaching and whether it remains.  (John 15:16)   We are promised a prophet to arise in the last day to “restore” pure worship.  (Matt 17:11; Rev 11:1-5; Zech 4: 11-14)  This is through the Temple’s restoration. (Zech 4:6,7) We are promised the understanding of Revelation’s scrolls and the end time development that conquers the “saints”. (Dan 8:26; Rev 1:1,2; Rev 5:5,6,9,10;13:17)  In the Body of Christ, prophets are part of the foundation. (Eph 2:20-22) Their role attributes to the health of the Body. (Rom 12:3-8)  If we remain aloof and opinionated, we remain disconnected from the members of the Body, which contradicts scripture.  (1 Cor chapt. 12) Everyone has their opinion, but we are promised the factual truth to be revealed.  It is our obligation to test the fruit from any anointed, as lasting.  (John 14:26; 5:26)(John 15:16)

Pearl teaches restoration of the anointed Body/"Israel", which fulfills prophesy. (Luke 1:16,17: Mal 4:6; Isa 49:8,9,12)   What other anointed one of “Israel” does this?  Do you?  Certainly, it is not the GB.  Their whole mission is to destroy the unification of the saints and empower their own priesthood and “temple”, a counterfeit "Zion".  (Ezek 44:6-9)

For anyone here, this is a link to her vision of the winepress: http://pearl-winepress.blogspot.com/

The word of the Lord came to me: “Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel who are prophesying. Say to those who prophesy out of their own imagination: Hear the word of the Lord! This is what the Lord God says: Woe to the foolish prophets who follow their own spirit and have seen nothing.

Your prophets, Israel, are like jackals among ruins. You did not go up to the gaps or restore the wall around the house of Israel so that it might stand in battle on the day of the Lord. They see false visions and speak lying divinations. They claim, ‘This is the Lord’s declaration,’ when the Lord did not send them, yet they wait for the fulfillment of their message.

Didn’t you see a false vision and speak a lying divination when you proclaimed, ‘This is the Lord’s declaration,’ even though I had not spoken?

“Therefore, this is what the Lord God says: I am against you because you have spoken falsely and had lying visions.” This is the declaration of the Lord God. “My hand will be against the prophets who see false visions and speak lying divinations. They will not be present in the fellowship of My people or be recorded in the register of the house of Israel, and they will not enter the land of Israel. Then you will know that I am the Lord Yahweh.”  Ezek 13:1-9

To the prophet of Ezekiel, God said:

“Now, son of man, your people are talking about you near the city walls and in the doorways of their houses. One person speaks to another, each saying to his brother, ‘Come and hear what the message is that comes from the Lord!’ 31 So My people come to you in crowds*, sit in front of you, and hear your words, but they don’t obey them. Although they express love with their mouths, their hearts pursue dishonest profit. 32 Yes, to them you are like a singer of love songs who has a beautiful voice and plays skillfully on an instrument. They hear your words, but they don’t obey them33 Yet when it comes—and it will definitely come—then they will know that a prophet has been among them.”  Eze 33:30-33

His forces will rise up and desecrate the temple fortress. (1 Pet 2:5,9; 1 Cor 3:16,17; 2 Thess 2:3,4; Rev 11:1,2)  They will abolish the daily sacrifice and set up the abomination of desolation. 32 With flattery he will corrupt those who act wickedly toward the covenant, but the people who know their God will be strong and take action. 33 Those who are wise among the people will give understanding to many, yet they will die by sword and flame, and be captured and plundered for a time.

This happened to Pearl, myself, many other anointed ones, and many not anointed; at the hands of the elder body.  We “die” through disfellowshipping for our testimony to Christ and Truth, and rejection of the idol.   Rev 13:15; 11:7

34 When defeated, they will be helped by some, but many others will join them insincerely*. (as pointed out in Eze 33)  35 Some of the wise will fall so that they may be refined, purified, and cleansed until the time of the end, for it will still come at the appointed time.  Dan 11:31-15

Pearl and I see many people who are “insincere”.  But, there are those who understand the need of  a restored “Temple” of living stones (1 Pet 2:5,9), and how imperative it is to leave the Beast.  (Rev 18:4-8)  They appreciate that the “Marriage Feast” is currently underway.  (Matt 22:1-14)

“See, I am going to send My messenger, and he will clear the way before Me. Then the Lord you seek will suddenly come to His temple, the Messenger of the covenant you desire—see, He is coming,” says the Lord of Hosts. But who can endure the day of His coming? And who will be able to stand when He appears? For He will be like a refiner’s fire and like cleansing lye. He will be like a refiner and purifier of silver; He will purify the sons of Levi and refine them like gold and silver. Then they will present offerings to the Lord in righteousness. And the offerings of Judah and Jerusalem will please the Lord as in days of old and years gone by.  Mal 3:1-4

As one of the anointed, I suggest, you get Trump out of your head and concentrate on the plight of “Israel” in the hands of false prophets.  I know I’m blunt, dear Kosonen, but this is what prophesy in the last days is all about.  The remnant of “Israel” being deceived by false prophets and an organization.  (Rev 16:13,14; Matt 24:24)

Would you have ever seen the day when the leaders of the WT would personally face lawsuits as they are today?  When you see the GB removed, you will know a prophet has been among you.  (Rev 17:12,13,16-18)

John 4:44 - Jesus Himself testified that a prophet has no honor in his own country.

    That country today, is "Israel".

As for me, a huge draw to the truth was the hope of living forever on earth—where I can well imagine future activities—like that camping trip that you wished would never end—as opposed to everlasting life in heaven, where I can’t imagine what I would do.

Do you know how God's Kingdom will arrive?  Do you realize that no one will live on the earth if there is not a faithful anointed remnant to survive the great tribulation?   What is Zion comprised of?  How are the anointed sealed?  By listening to changed teachings of men who expect them to kowtow to them, and not to Christ as individual members of his Body?

The Watchtower has done its job well.  You know little of their role in the last days and how the Kingdom of God will be born.

It is true.  Jesus and the Father would not abandon us to mystery.  We have the promise that scrolls are opened in the last days. (Dan 12:9; Rev 20:11,12) Jesus said, "seek and you shall find" (Matt 7:7,8)  If you received a promise that a treasure awaited you, but that it was vitally important for you keep your faith in that promise and actively search for it, wouldn't you do everything you could to find it?  (Prov 2:1-6)

When I was studying before baptism I took very seriously what Jesus said about helping Jesus' brothers. And I was very curious about the anointed. And it all made sense because at that time all the anointed were considered to be part of the faithful slave. And they were considered to have a much closer relation to God according to Romans 8. And the Bible says that they are first fruits. And that holy spirit is on them in a particular way and that when they read in the Bible about things consering the 144000 they feel it applies on them.

I agree whole-heartedly with what you say, but the only thing that we must remember is that Jesus will determine who is a "faithful slave" and who is not.  At one time in the org when all anointed were called the "faithful slave", that too is a misnomer.  We cannot read hearts, only God does. However, we can discern who may be faithful, by the teachings/fruits they produce; whether they last or whether they are rotten from the moment they are taught.  Whoever we are, if our heart yearns for truth, Holy Spirit will lead us to it.

If we are faithful to false teachings, we are not faithful slaves of truth.  We are not faithful slaves of Christ.

It's a good question. But be careful if you are asking this question publicly in your congregation. You might not realize that this question was once near the top of the list of red flags to identify apostasy.

With those foreboding words, many who may think the same as John will swallow down their Beroean-like tendencies, and shut their mouth to avoid receiving a label of “apostate”.

This is all due to the FEAR OF MEN.  Acts 5:29; Isa 2:22   For pity’s sake, when will JWs stand up for Christ’s truth!  Should we fear men, or should we fear God for our ultimate choice to follow men and their lies?   Rev 18:4-8

There were both anointed and those not anointed in the first century, and all together believed and followed Christ’s teachings.

"Truly I tell you, whoever receives anyone I send receives me, and the one who receives me receives him who sent me."  John 13:20

Those "sent" by Christ would be part of the anointed Body -  faithful "priests" and Christ's brothers, who are to teach the people TRUTH.  Mal 2:7; 1 Pet 2:5,9

Here, Jesus was addressing the foundation stones of his Body/Temple.  Matt 16:18; John 2:19-21; 1 Pet 2:5,9; 1 Cor 3:16,17...

"If anyone does not welcome you or listen to your words, shake the dust off your feet when you leave that house or town”.  Matt 10:14

These scriptures below are used by “anointed” leaders in the organization, spoken to those not anointed in the congregations today. The words originated in the first century, not in the 19th, 20th, or 21st century.  They were addressed to both anointed and not anointed, who believed together, as they are used today.     Surely, it is evident that WT leaders are blind (purposefully or not) to what God’s words tell us.  They prefer to twist and turn the scriptures, and follow their own rules, when the timing is convenient...

“A person should think of us in this way: as servants of Christ and managers of the mysteries of God.”  1 Cor 4:1

“Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, since God is making his appeal through us. We plead on Christ's behalf: ‘Be reconciled to God.’" 2 Cor 5:20

“For God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you demonstrated for his name by serving the saints -- and by continuing to serve them.”  Heb 6:10

“To the church of God at Corinth, to those sanctified in Christ Jesus, called as saints, with all those in every place who call on the name of Jesus Christ our Lord -- both their Lord and ours."  1 Cor 1:2

“Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’

40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’  Matt 25:37-40

"For if someone comes to you and preaches a Jesus other than the Jesus we preached, or if you receive a different spirit from the Spirit you received, or a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it easily enough."  2 Cor 11:4

John is right.  And no one should be threatened with a spiritual "death" for rejecting a falsehood.  But it occurs over and over each day in the organization, for those who question men's teachings against Christ's teachings.  Rev 13:15  Yet, they who stand for Christ and his word, are the victors.  John 14:24; Mark 8:38; Luke 6:47-49

Witness, I believe in a 1000 year reign of Jesus  Christ  and of the 144000. And those 144000 are happy to get immortality when they are taken to heaven. But those who survive the great tribulation and stay on earth will face a critical time when Satan is allowed to return to mislead  after the 1000 year reign of Jesus and the 144000 anointed.

You are saying that the faithful anointed will be safely reigning in heaven with Jesus Christ, while all on earth will face a "critical time" when Satan misleads them after they have enjoyed paradise for a thousand years.

That is not what the scriptures say.

    Rev 20:7-9

"When the thousand years are completed, Satan will be released from his prison  and will go out to deceive the nations at the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them for battle. Their number is like the sand of the sea. 9 They came up across the breadth of the earth and surrounded the encampment of the saints, the beloved city. Then fire came down from heaven and consumed them."

Not only are the "nations" deceived, but so are the "saints"  - the anointed of God - "Israel", who comprise "New Jerusalem".  IF, as you say, all of the anointed "144,000" are reigning in heaven then they would not be deceived and surrounded by "Gog and Magog".

There are two instances in Revelation where these "kings of the earth", Jesus' kings, (Rev 1:5) are deceived, gathered and surrounded.   Rev 20:7-9 and Rev 16:14

"And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.  For they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

15 “Behold, I am coming as a thief. Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame.”  Rev 16:13-15

Both Revelation 20 and 16 are describing the same event that develops after Satan is "let loose" from the abyss.

Today, the anointed saints and nations of the whole world, are deceived, gathered and surrounded in the Watchtower organization, the Beast of Revelation 13:1 that blasphemes the saints, under the direction of a false prophet.  Rev 13:5-7,11,12,14-17

If you only knew how much "extra effort" I have taken to know Jesus Christ since leaving the organization.  He admonishes us to "keep our garments", our identity as pure from deceit, from falsehoods.  Rev 3:18 explains how to do that:

"I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see. "

Not really. But I believe the Bible. And it is true that true Christians, followers of Jesus will after being taken to heaven  never die. Revelation 20:6 is clear about it.

6  Happy and holy is anyone having part in the first resurrection; over these the second death has no authority, but they will be priests of God and of the Christ, and they will rule as kings with him for the 1,000 years.

Apostle Paul knew about an earlier resurrection, that was more desirable. He wrote:

Philippians 3:10  My aim is to know him and the power of his resurrection and to share in his sufferings, submitting myself to a death like his, 11  to see if at all possible I may attain to the earlier resurrection from the dead.

Then I apologize if I am mistaken by thinking you believed in a thousand year reign of Christ after Armageddon.

  9. 7 hours ago, Kosonen said:

Well, those scriptures do not deny that either. Maybe you remarked that those scriptures I cited do not mention death.

I believe Jesus with the 144000 will have much to do to "force" every person to do go and refrain from sin. Unfortunately even many angels followed Satan. So many of the people who will be born during the 1000 years will not be better. As soon as Jesus and the 144000 stop watching and interfering, many will start to do bad things.

I have 5 kids. And I am not so happy with their attitudes and I am not sure about their salvation. No matter how much they go to meetings or how much I try to teach them God's norms.

    Dear Kosenen,

You are holding on to a Watchtower teaching.  Now is the day of judgment.  Not during a thousand years of "peace" that the WT teaches.  John 12:31

We are not judged twice.  Only once.  Jesus promises eternal life now.  This promise does not come with condition that we may lose it after Armageddon.  Eternity means just that.  Matt 7:24-27  It is received through our obedience to his teachings...now. John 17:2   If we conquer the evil one through our obedience to the Father and Jesus, during this lifetime, do we need to do it again?  1 John 2:14  What is the reason for the harvest that we know occurs during the last days? Matt 25:31-46

Do you know that other Christian churches have their own version of the "millennium" to happen after Armageddon.  Satan is twisting the pure promise of eternal that is given to the children of the Kingdom of God.  SATAN is the liar, not Jesus Christ and not the Father in Heaven.  What they promise, will come true.

Witness, look at what Revelation 7 says about what will happen after the great tribulation.

Revelation 7:14: And he said to me: “These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation,+ and they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.+ 15  That is why they are before the throne of God, and they are rendering him sacred service day and night in his temple; and the One seated on the throne+ will spread his tent over them.+ 16  They will hunger no more nor thirst anymore, neither will the sun beat down on them nor any scorching heat,+ 17  because the Lamb,+ who is in the midst* of the throne, will shepherd them+ and will guide them to springs* of waters of life.+ And God will wipe out every tear from their eyes.”

And Revelation 22:1 And he showed me a river of water of life,+ clear as crystal, flowing out from the throne of God and of the Lamb+  down the middle of its main street. On both sides of the river were trees of life producing 12 crops of fruit, yielding their fruit each month. And the leaves of the trees were for the healing of the nations.

Yes, and again these scriptures prove that Satan will not be "let loose" from the abyss one thousand years after Armageddon is finished, to mislead and gather people to "wage war" against Christ and his saints.  (Rev 13:7; 20:7-9)  That is already happening.

       Dan 7:9-27; Rev 20:11-15

I am too tired to do it for you.

No, I don't need to do that. I'm simply bringing out contradictory teachings of your leaders.    Christ's "thousand year reign" is finished.  We have the promise in 1 Cor 15:26 that the last enemy to be destroyed is death, at the end of Armageddon.  This is in harmony with the scripture that I put faith in; Rev 21:1-4.  I was never told as a JW that this promise would not be fulfilled until a thousand years later. I looked forward to its blessings on the other side of Armageddon. Those JWs I knew did also.  But, I see now, that by agreeing with the theory of once living in peace a thousand years into the paradise, Satan would then emerge to deceive a large number of people who would see death, God's promise in Rev 21 would be invalidated.  (Rev 20:7-10)

I choose to hold onto that promise.  Christ's reigning symbolic kingdom and its purpose is spoken of in Col 1:9-14.

As an example, the basic core truths of the Bible were also correctly discerned many years ago by Sir Isaac Newton .... but he kept them to himself.

The basic core truths.  The first "good news" that my brother shared with me, who was studying with JWs, was the promise of a "new world", that of living on earth in peace.  No wars, no death, etc.  I believed it, because it was proven from the Bible.  But then, I was told this peaceful setting would only last 1000 literal years before death would again be at my door.  I thought, well, it must be true because they showed me Rev 20:7-10   What I'm saying is,  the basic core truth is offered at the door, with a twist that isn't true.

    This is truth:

Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea no longer existed. 2 I also saw the Holy City, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared like a bride adorned for her husband.

3 Then I heard a loud voice from the throne:

Look! God’s dwelling is with humanity,
and He will live with them.
    They will be His people,
and God Himself will be with them
    and be their God.
4 He will wipe away every tear from their eyes.

    Death will no longer exist;
grief, crying, and pain will exist no longer,

because the previous things have passed away.  Rev 21:1-4

JWs do not bring with them, good news, but twisted news.

  14. Thank you for the scriptures, @Kosonen.  God’s Temple/house/sanctuary is “built” on the “humble” anointed ones.  (1 Pet 2:5,9; 1 Cor 3:16,17)  With those you have quoted, we can see that one of his goals was/is to teach those of the anointed Body, to become humble, as he was humble.   They are the mountain/house of the Lord; certainly it is not a "mountainlike organization".

Brothers, consider your calling: Not many are wise from a human perspective, not many powerful, not many of noble birth. 27 Instead, God has chosen what is foolish in the world to shame the wise, and God has chosen what is weak in the world to shame the strong. 28 God has chosen what is insignificant and despised in the world—what is viewed as nothingto bring to nothing what is viewed as something     1 Cor 1:26-28

This is what the Lord says:

    “Heaven is my throne,
and the earth is my footstool.
Where is the house you will build for me?
Where will my resting place be?
Has not my hand made all these things,
and so they came into being?”
    declares the Lord.

These are the ones I look on with favor:
those who are humble and contrite in spirit,
and who tremble at my word.
      Isa 66:1,2

“For we are God’s coworkers. You are God’s field, God’s building10 According to God’s grace that was given to me, I have laid a foundation as a skilled master builder, and another builds on it. But each one must be careful how he builds on it. 11 For no one can lay any other foundation than what has been laid down. That foundation is Jesus Christ. “ 1 Cor 3:9-11

“built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus Himself as the cornerstone. 21 The whole building, being put together by Him, grows into a holy sanctuary in the Lord. 22 You also are being built together for God’s dwelling in the Spirit.”  Eph 2:20-22

So don't blame Allen, instead pick up the issue with your friend and defender. I am sure, Allen Smith would love to stick to one account, but there is too much hatred and animosity, while people suggest he go play in his own sandbox.

Therefore, your conclusion is once again, more misinformation. 🤔

What I have concluded from this comment, is total admittance to your (Allen's) shenanigans.  It's one thing to take on another name, but it is a lie to deny it isn't Allen.  Librarian knows exactly who you are.    I just to don't get your name game; especially if you call yourself a JW; who, as a group, 'pride' themselves on their honesty.

Wow! You opposers really need to do proper research and stop lying about what the courts are doing.

If you are referring to the San Diego case, Gerrit Lösch was summoned to appear NOT subpoenaed to appear. A summons can be rejected by anyone.

If I "lied", (but not through my teeth which sounds extremely sinister), I apologize for erring in my assumption.  But I’m not sure that I really have lied, unlike someone I know who lives a sinister lie about who he is.  Honestly, I have no clue why the charades continue.

You are the lawyer or somehow connected with law; so, you would know better than me.  But this is what I see:

A subpoena and a summons are similar because they both give notice about a court proceeding. Differences between a subpoena and a summons include:

    • who they are given to
    • when they are given
    • what they are used for

    What is a summons?

A summons is an official notice of a lawsuit. It is given to the person being sued. If you sue someone, they need to know about it. This way, they can come to court and fight the lawsuit. When you serve the defendant with a summons, you officially tell that you are suing them. You must follow the rules for giving the summons to the defendants to properly file your case. For helpful videos on filing court papers, see the Law Basics Video Series.

    What is a subpoena?

A subpoena is a court order. You can use a subpoena to require a person to come to court, go to a deposition, or give documents or evidence to you. You must serve the subpoena on the person. https://www.illinoislegalaid.org/legal-information/what-difference-between-summons-and-subpoena

From what I am understanding, he received a “notice of deposition/subpoena because he was assumed to be a “managing agent” for the WT, and which he denied...in a cowardly way.

    https://law.justia.com/cases/california/court-of-appeal/2016/d066388.html

After contentious discovery disputes, the court issued two discovery orders against Watchtower: (1) compelling the deposition of an individual (Gerrit Losch) whom the court found was a "managing agent" of Watchtower; and (2) ordering the production of documents in Watchtower's files pertaining to other perpetrators of child sexual abuse. When Watchtower failed to comply with these orders, the court granted Lopez's motion for monetary and terminating sanctions, struck Watchtower's answer, and entered Watchtower's default.

Now, about my previous quote about G. Jackson testimony. Just continue to listen, and please, have concentration.

    My goodness, what a liar.

    G. Jackson:

“Mr. Stewart, what you need to understand with regard to our organization…is a faith-driven organization.  Now the governing body realizes that if we were to give some direction that is not in harmony with God’s word all of Jehovah’s Witnesses world wide who have the Bible, would notice that and they would see…as a wrong direction.  If direction is given based on the Bible, we would expect them to follow that…"

When “the Assyrian” attacks, the elders must be absolutely convinced that Jehovah will deliver us. (3) At that time, the life-saving direction that we receive from Jehovah’s organization may not appear practical from a human standpoint. All of us must be ready to obey any instructions we may receive, whether these appear sound from a strategic or human standpoint or not.   W 13/11/15 p 20

For the time will come when people will not tolerate sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, will multiply teachers for themselves because they have an itch to hear what they want to hear.  2 Tim 4:3

The driving force/faith is toward the organization, that it will NEVER mislead its adherents.

If anyone teaches false doctrine and does not agree with the sound teaching of our Lord Jesus Christ and with the teaching that promotes godliness, he is conceited and understands nothing, but has an unhealthy interest in disputes and arguments over words. From these come envy, quarreling, slander, evil suspicions, and constant disagreement among people whose minds are depraved and deprived of the truth, who imagine that godliness is a way to material gain.  1 Tim 6:4,5

False doctrine?  Yes.  The organization has a very long list of it and none of it was "sound teaching/doctrine".
