    Not "fair"?
So many things are not "fair" in the world, and WT pick up this issue to Fight for?
Their fight for freedom of speech and religious activity aka declaring and spreading JW teaching is not something unique, in general. Because many people of various belongings also fight for their freedom of speech and activity.
So, fighting for Money Issue is NOT so Noble Task. It can be matter of "existence", for sure. But as i can see JW members working for daily life costs, earning with own labor for bread and milk.  Well, WT fighting for Corporation's money is another thing. They are not fighting for better standards of living for 8 m. members, but for better, high standards accommodations and some sort/level of power that comes with money for those who have it - WT Management - fights for own position, not for You.
Because, if Jesus is Leader of this Church (JWorg) he can Run His Work without Warwick , GB and Stuff in It. Without your donation money, without Hedge Funds, H.M. Riley Trust and so on.  :))

It is not easy explaining the Watchtower to a person who has never been one, which sounds like you.
About tax-exempt status, here is one person’s opinion:  https://www.berkshireeagle.com/stories/letter-end-tax-exempt-status-for-religions,559240
Here is the letter responding to that opinion:   https://www.berkshireeagle.com/stories/letter-tax-exempt-religions-give-back-in-many-ways,559806
He makes good points.  Many churches “give back” to the community.  My sister-in-law served food at a church soup kitchen for years and loved doing it.  My neighbors enjoy helping hundreds receive a hot meal to any who walk off the street at Thanksgiving time.
While I do not personally ascribe to any church or established religion, I am not against any organization within guidelines of the law, receiving a tax-exempt status.  I have a problem with the Watchtower walking on both sides of the fence.  You will not see soup kitchens offered by the Watchtower, or food pantries, or thrift stores set up by a church to serve the poor in the community,  since they believe “spiritual food” is enough to sustain a person through their organization, which is the only road to salvation.   It has been my experience in the congregations I belonged to, that you will not see a congregational announcement from a platform that a family needs everyone’s help to get them through tough times.  Individually, yes, but not as a group. Every meeting agenda is followed world-wide with little deviation from the program.
The Watchtower fights for every right they can receive from the government without “giving back” to the community. They fight against victims of child abuse suffered at the hands of elders or congregational members.   If they do an act of community kindness they are pressed to do so, or they believe it's time to show how "God's true organization" can make a difference.  There's always an ulterior motive that is sourced at the top.     Does this make sense?  They claim to represent the one true God “in truth”. They claim they follow Christ’s principles…and are the only religious group who does. Individually, they may take care of their own, but are very cautious of those on the outside; as those on the outside are part of the world, while JWs believe they are NO part of the world.    Any who leave this religion to serve Christ as he truly expects, by giving and worshiping as they feel free to, as the Father and Christ lead them through Holy Spirit, can be marked as “dead”.
I don’t hate JWs, I hate hypocrisy. The organization's use of a tax-exempt status can be compared to a person on food stamps that has no valid reason for not working, other than he or she is lazy and wants to milk the system for everything he can get.

Dear Sir, I am sorry that you don’t recognize hypocrisy when it is staring you in the face.  It appears there is an elephant in the room, stepping on your foot, and you refuse to admit it.
When is it okay for the Watchtower to be like all other churches/organization in the world…
    …and when is it not?
In the first century one of the apostles of the foundation of the true Zion, the true “organization” of God, built with priestly “living stones” on the Body of Christ, stated:
“Let everyone submit to the governing authorities, since there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are instituted by God. 2 So then, the one who resists the authority is opposing God’s command, and those who oppose it will bring judgment on themselves. 3 For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Do you want to be unafraid of the authority? Do what is good, and you will have its approval. 4 For it is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, because it does not carry the sword for no reason. For it is God’s servant, an avenger that brings wrath on the one who does wrong. 5 Therefore, you must submit, not only because of wrath but also because of your conscience. 6 And for this reason you pay taxes, since the authorities are God’s servants, continually attending to these tasks. 7 Pay your obligations to everyone: taxes to those you owe taxes, tolls to those you owe tolls, respect to those you owe respect, and honor to those you owe honor.  Rom 13:1-7
I highly doubt they would have pursued a tax-exempt status if it was offered, since they were no part of the world. John 17:13-19;  1 John 2:15
“Jesus told them, “Give to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.” And they were utterly amazed at him.”  Mark 12:17
This isn't a problem with those "living stones" who have left a corporation to serve God and Christ directly.  2  Cor 6:14-18
     (1 Pet 2:4-10; 1 Cor 3:16,17; Eph 2:20-22; John 2:19-21; Matt 16:18)

This is one person’s opinion, which is fine, but it is not an opinion I share.
…to a morally superior standard.  Hmmm.  This is exactly what is taught the congregants.  When someone leaves while still in shock  after learning otherwise,  those who had this ingrained in their head year after year and who have left the organization because of hypocrisy, will naturally say, “did you know”?  “How dare they do what they tell the members NOT to do!”
The Watchtower TEACHES that its “spirit-directed organization” is an “ideal world”.  This matters not to one like yourself who has never faced such indoctrination.
“The rule of Scripture is the rule in his organization. Also the principles therein set forth are those upon which we work. Jehovah’s thoughts, ways and purposes are those we follow and not our own. It is a pure theocracy. Therefore there is peace in our ranks.  Here again is another fulfillment of prophecy. Jehovah has blessed the wholehearted effort of his people   Therefore as you witness this, and if you too desire peace, prosperity and Jehovah’s blessing, then bring your life into obedience to the will of Jehovah God and be in subjection to theocratic rule, recognizing those who have the authority over you in Jehovah’s pure and happy organization.”  w56 11/15 pp. 696-702

You know what the bottom line is in all you gave me?  An idol can get away with anything.  Rev 13:1,3,4

Edited - took out the quote about "pure ones".  It occurred to me it may have meant to indicate "pure" words in a comment sprinkled with "dissonant screeching notes".

WT is one global Company (parent company if i use correct words)  with many sister companies under different names. And all other companies in different countries have their names and numbers depend on particular law of the country. Australia was given as one example. You allude to that how  i allude. You must mean persecution from a body of elders who demand their obedience.  Elders, not anointed, ruling over God's priesthood. 1 Pet 2:5,9
You must certainly mean persecution from an elder body because an unyielding anointed one chooses to listen to Christ and not remain “peaceful and yielding” in an environment of lies. Please check your history of teachings.  The true Spirit of God requires pure devotion to truth, which the heart of the anointed and companions can avail itself to, if it turns fully to the Father and Christ.
Their persecution stems from those who wield ungodly power and authority over them.  Matt 24:48-51
Perhaps, Arauna, you believe in a delusion?  2 Thess 2:9-12; Rev 13:1,5-8

Um, some might have said that Jesus was 'bitter and opposing' toward the Pharisees, when he called them 'offspring of vipers, hypocrites and like whitewashed graves'.  So you see, giving an honest opinion can be seen as bitter and opposing, especially if the recipient is in the wrong and doesn't want to admit to it.
Are you then saying Jesus should have remained peaceful and yielding to the Pharisees? I hope you are not.

That's why they get the tax exemptions.

You uphold an organization’s teachings that you really know little, of what is taught its members.
The image of the beast at first was the League of Nations, now called the United Nations, for this arrangement was established to perpetuate the visible, political organization and its control over the earth.   w66 8/15 pp. 497-502
As explained in previous issues of The Watchtower, the scarlet-colored beast is the international peace organization now known as the United Nations.  w67 4/1 pp. 219-223 -
Today the hot question under debate is: Call mankind be one under these two systems, democratic and totalitarian? Can these two systems keep living side by side, ruling at the same time on the earth? A political attempt at holding them together is the organization of the United Nations. w56 4/1 pp. 195-208
The “scarlet-colored wild beast” represents the United Nations, and “the ten horns” represent all the political powers that support it.— Read Revelation 17:3, 16-18.  ws15 7/15 pp. 9-15
Soon Jehovah will cause the political elements of Satan’s system, as represented by the United Nations, to attack false religion.  w12 6/15 pp. 14-18
This is why no loyal JW would engage in any activity having to do with the United Nations.  This is why many left the organization when they found out the WT held membership as an NGO.
Yes, your view is worldly, in the same manner as the Watchtower organization.  Your eye is completely centered on the fulfillment of Christ’s coming according to the visible signs seen in the world.  1 Cor 2:14

For you, a man of the world,  its all absolutely fine and acceptable.  For a devout JW who believes they are "no part of the world",  they are following God’s organization, and who are thoroughly convinced the Wild Beast is the UN, ANY association with it, on ANY level is not acceptable, as they have been taught through the organization’s teachings.
No matter how you slice it.
Especially since any JW that may choose to work for a political organization, can be disfellowshipped.

The organization is under a spiritual symbolic stoning law, written in the “Shepherding the Flock of God” book.
There is a type of killing that doesn’t cause literal blood to pour out of an individual. This type of dismembering  isn’t seen with the physical eye.   It is a spiritual “killing” that the Watchtower has honed into a deceitful art, otherwise known as an act of love, and “keeping the congregation clean”.    Obviously, you do not recognize this killing accomplished daily by the elder body.    It is a spiritual guillotine that shuts the mouths, erases the life and severs a family member from their loved ones.
This is an act of judgment according to the “creeds” of the Watchtower.
“Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2 For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
3 “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 4 How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? 5 You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye. Matt 7:1-5
You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge another, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things.  Rom 2:1
There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the one who is able to save and destroy. But you—who are you to judge your neighbor?  James 4:12
Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? To their own master, servants stand or fall. And they will stand, for the Lord is able to make them stand.  Rom 14:4
Should Christ’s servants/anointed be judged by an elder body?  That is Christ’s job.
"Satan's organization sails under the high-sounding name of "Christendom" “Jehovah’s organization”.  It boasts of a membership of over 500,000,000 (insert 8 million here) persons. Its members are in bondage to creeds, customs, rites and ceremonies; they dare not disown these or criticize or expose them. To do so would bring down on their heads taunts, reproaches, disfellowship and persecution. Many thousands of the Lord's people (anointed ones, as well as their companions) are held in these denominations as prisoners, afraid to express their disapproval of the creeds, methods and customs of the organization. Wt. 1930 Oct 1 p.301
"Disfellowshiping means the casting of a member out of Gods household; and if one should remain in this disfellowshiped condition till he died, it would mean his everlasting destruction as a person who is rejected by God. Staying away from meetings leads in that very direction." Watchtower 1965 Dec 15 p.75
“Being limited by the laws of the worldly nation in which we live and also by the laws of God through Jesus Christ, we can take action against apostates only to a certain extent, that is, consistent with both sets of laws. The law of the land and God's law through Christ forbid us to kill apostates, even though they be members of our own flesh-and-blood family relationship .”  WT 1952/11/15 pp. 703,704

They will put you out of the synagogue; in fact, the time is coming when anyone who kills you will think they are offering a service to God. 3 They will do such things because they have not known the Father or me.   John 16:2,3
Synagogues, (“congregations”) where the Jews worshiped.  Tell me, where do we find spiritual “Jews”?  The “Israel of God”?  In the “Christian Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses”.

The beast was given a mouth to utter proud words and blasphemies and to exercise its authority for forty-two months. 6 It opened its mouth to blaspheme God, and to slander his name and his dwelling place and those who live in heaven. 7 It was given power to wage war against God’s holy people and to conquer them. And it was given authority over every tribe, people, language and nation.
“If anyone is to go into captivity,
        into captivity they will go.
If anyone is to be killed with the sword,
with the sword they will be killed.”  Rev 13:5,7,10
The elder body uses its “silver sword” (Heb 4:12) at every judicial committee, and its own version of God’s Word to “kill”….disfellowship.
The third angel poured out his bowl on the rivers and springs of water, and they became blood. 5 Then I heard the angel in charge of the waters say:
“You are just in these judgments, O Holy One,
        you who are and who were;
6 for they have shed the blood of your holy people and your prophets,
and you have given them blood to drink as they deserve.”  Rev 16:4-6

Sure they do, as any other worldly organization, they have the same rights as another.
This organization claims it belongs to God.   It claims it is “spirit-directed”.  Does this put the blame on God if a battle for worldly rights is lost?   Whenever the nation of Israel followed God’s decrees they were blessed with victory, with each person receiving protection from God.  How many JWs languish in prisons world-wide, some for years?  How many victims of child-abuse are disfellowshipped because their emotional make-up is crushed by “God’s organization” failing to shepherd them with love and understanding? WT's leaders are at war in the court systems with these victims who want recompense for spiritual and emotional damage.  Warwick is praised and visited daily by JWs, while many who have dedicated their life to “Jehovah’s organization” have little to nothing, or face prison walls on the same day crowds stare in awe at the organization’s feat to build a “Bethel” – house of God.  Blasphemy.     The WT calls itself “Zion” on earth.  It should come across as the most powerful entity on this earth since it purports to represent the true God, even if it is smaller than the surrounding “nations”.  Deut 7:7  God would graciously allow it to flourish.  Lev chapter 26 (corrected)
And…if it can’t be compared to the early nation of Israel, (although the GB regularly does so) then why must every JW who questions the organization’s route taken, as it develops its counterfeit Zion, be considered spiritually “dead”?  Rev 13:15
The true spiritual house/”organization” is built on faithful anointed ones – the “Israel of God”.  1 Pet 2:5,9; 1 Cor 3:16,17; Eph 2:20-22   Surrounding them, is an earthly “idol” under the rule of a Wicked Slave.
    Preposterous, you say?
Now all in God’s visible organization say with Micah: “We, for our part, shall walk in the name of Jehovah our God to time indefinite, even forever.” (Micah 4:5) The modern-day organization is gathered around “the Israel of God,” which is called in the Bible “a people for his name.” (Galatians 6:16; Acts 15:14; Isaiah 43:6, 7; 1 Peter 2:17) Hence, to be part of Jehovah’s organization means to be part of a people who seek, and receive, protection in God’s name.” w98 9/1 pp. 8-13
Of course, “Israel”, the Temple of God, (1 Cor 3:16,17) must not bond with each other, but remain silent since the “Gentile” elder body has been given authority to rule over them.  Matt 24:48-51; 2 Thess 2:3,4; Rev 11:1,2   These are the true “witnesses” of God…that must listen and obey the direction of men.  (Wt 16/1 pg 24)  Isa 43:10; 1 Pet 2:5,9,10; Rom 14:4; Isa 2:22
“Now when the thousand years have expired,
…which began when Jesus sat down at the right hand of his Father Ps 110:1,2; John 16:33; 1 Cor 15:25; 1 John 3:8; Rev 3:21
“Satan will be released from his prison 8 and will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle, whose number is as the sand of the sea. 9 They went up on the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city. And fire came down from God out of heaven and devoured them.”  Rev 20:7-9
    Ezek 38:8b,10,11,14-16-23  https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Ezek+38%3A8b%2C10%2C11%2C14%2C16-23&version=NKJV
Only a false prophet would claim it directs a “modern day” earthly organization that must have the same rights as any other organization in the world of ‘commercial business’.  Luke 4:5-7; Rev 13:1,11,14-17
Sir, you concentrated on the organization’s right to worldly benefits and failed to notice the hypocrisy brought out in the first quote I presented.   How is it that JWs can easily skip over the sins of their own leaders and still be expected to be blessed by God?  Could it be the stubbornness of the heart?  John 12:40

    g70 6/22 pp. 29-31  Disturbing Riches
It is no secret that the Roman Catholic Church in America generates great wealth. In stocks alone, one market expert suggested that when you touch figures like $20,000,000,000 “maybe you’ll be close.” The land assets alone of the archdiocese of New York are conservatively estimated at $55,000,000. Said author Kenneth G. Gross: “Catholics, organizationally and clerically, reportedly realize major profits from Grace Lines, Moran Towing, dozens of food producers and packagers, the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, and various utilities. Jesuits own large blocks of shares in defense industries (National Steel, Boeing, Lockheed, Douglas, Curtiss-Wright), as well as DiGiorgio Corp. and other firms. The Knights of Columbus, a tax-exempt lay Catholic group, includes the land under Yankee Stadium in a portfolio of half a billion dollars.” A New York priest said: “The Catholic Church must either get back to helping its poorest members rather than cultivating its most influential parishioners, or else risk devastation.”
Stocks, land assets, profits, shares in defense industries.  Is the Watchtower jealous that their stocks, land assets, profits and shares in defense industries do not add up to the riches of the Catholic Church?
Why was it necessary to mention the Knights of Columbus are “tax-exempt”?
Watchtower cannot “get back to helping its poorest members”, when it never has to begin with.
WHAT IS THEIR POINT OF THIS NEWS QUIP, OTHER THAN TO DETRACT FROM THEIR OWN HYPOCRISY?
Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom. 14 But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. 15 This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic. 16 For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there.  James 3:13-16
Pure and undefiled religion before God the Father is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself unstained from the world.”  James 1:27
Brother Russell and his associates refused to imitate the money-raising schemes so common in the churches of Christendom. In the second issue of the Watch Tower, under the heading “Do You Want ‘Zion’s Watch Tower’?” Russell stated: “‘Zion’s Watch Tower’ has, we believe, JEHOVAH for its backer, and while this is the case it will never beg nor petition men for support. When He who says: ‘All the gold and silver of the mountains are mine,’ fails to provide necessary funds, we will understand it to be time to suspend the publication.” (Hag. 2:7-9) Over 130 years later, The Watchtower and the organization that publishes it are still going strong!
Being tax-exempt like all other churches in the world, sure helps in a big way.
Fighting for such a status…isn’t this the same as soliciting money?
8 Jehovah’s people do not beg for money. They do not pass collection plates or send out letters of solicitation. Neither do they use bingo, bazaars, or raffles to raise money. They hold to what the Watch Tower long ago said: “We have never considered it proper to solicit money for the Lord’s cause, after the common custom (apparently this excludes tax-exemption status). It is our judgment that money raised by the various begging devices in the name of our Lord is offensive, unacceptable to him, and does not bring his blessing either upon the givers or the work accomplished.”*  yb16 pp. 31-38 - Yearbook—2016
The organization is certainly adept at fighting for what they think is “fair”.
Jesus is King, but who are his sons?  Men who run the Watchtower, and who have made it known to every JW that their tax-exempt status is not recognized in some countries?  yb16 pp. 31-38 - Yearbook—2016
Jesus let the matter drop so as not to stumble anyone.  As you say, the Watchtower would fight for it.
Jesus’ true sons would be those who worship, not on any literal ‘mountain’-like organization,  but in spirit and truth.    “For the Father is seeking such to worship Him."  John 4:21-24
No organization, and its struggles to keep its financial head above water, is necessary to do this.

    Two documents to consider.
JWfacts breaks down the event quite thoroughly, including how #1 was implemented through the literature; while also providing examples of WT linking the UN with Revelation's Wild Beast:
"No, the UN is not a blessing, even though the religious clergy of Christendom and the rabbis of Jewry pray heaven’s blessing upon that organization. It is really “the image of the wild beast,” the visible political, commercial organization of “the god of this system of things,” Satan the Devil. So the UN will soon be destroyed along with that beastly organization." Watchtower 1984 Sep 15 p.15

Is this enough honesty for you, @BillyTheKid46?
Since an NGO status is not needed to receive a library card, why did the Wt. apply for NGO membership?  Can your leaders honestly tell you why?  Not really, otherwise they would not have terminated their status as an NGO.

The U.N. Library is mirrored in several other places.  If memory serves the New York City Public Library, and in at least one New York University, the name escapes me at the moment.  You can just walk in and read for free.
The fact was that the WTB&TS were active NGO associates of the United Nations Department of Public Information for 9-1/2 Years.... until they got "caught" by the U.K "Guardian" newspaper.  They used this for political influence and "tickets of admission" at world government conferences.
This has been extensively documented and has been FULLY explored in past JW-Archive discussions.
The "All we signed up for is a Library Card" explanation was by simpletons, for simpletons who wish there was a magical "Rainbow Bridge".

I admit, I didn’t read what you so laboriously wrote; because, it really doesn’t matter.  When the Watchtower was caught as an NGO member in the US, they blushed, made excuses and quickly removed their membership.  Why?  Since it began as the League of Nations, it has been labeled the Wild Beast of Revelation 13:1.  JWs are taught again and again that it is a blasphemous image….to stay away from.  To find out that WT leaders dabbled in ‘blasphesmy’ led to many people leaving their hypocritical teachings behind.  What was “Jehovah’s organization” doing, by cavorting with the Beast, and the world? To a JW who sincerely thought he was “safe” in “Jehovah’s spirit-directed organization”, such news can be devastating and nauseating, physically and emotionally.   Those that taught others to be "no part of the world" are fully immersed in its activity.
Thank you for linking the Six Screens "Healing River" program.  .  It reminds me to post Pearl’s latest soundcloud which was very good.  About this, you just don’t get it, SM.  This forum is an avenue to air opinions and facts.  I am surrounded here by the majority who disagree with me and I don’t agree with them.   Should I leave because I personally feel JWs have been misled by lies?  Until I’m told to leave, I’ll stay, because I believe there are truths that need to be aired to those that were once my “brothers and sisters”.   Should Pearl stop using Six Screens because the majority there hold a different view? She is not endorsing the programs of others.   If  another choice is easier for her, she will change.  For the meantime, it is an avenue that draws many listeners – JWs who have been harmed or disgusted by two-faced doctrine and want to know spiritual truth.   It provides a similar outlet just as this forum has provided.  I don’t agree with all that Jason Zelda believes, but I do appreciate what he has exposed as hard facts about the WT.
You have fallen in the same trap that Jason spoke of, when he addressed shunning.  You have snubbed your nose and lumped Pearl together with all others on Six Screen.  This is a view the Pharisees were good at - narrow-minded accusations that Jesus was a sinner because he spoke and ate with tax collectors and harlots.  The interesting thing is, they listened; while the Pharisees who needed to listen as well, labeled him as a demon.  This is what the WT does continually to those who refuse their doctrinal lies.  They are labeled “human apostates”, “mentally diseased”, as Jason brought out in the video.
In a doctor’s office that my very sick husband visits, the receptionist is a JW from another congregation that I was in.  But, she knows who I am.   He had to step out when paying for the visit so I stepped in to finished the transaction.  She couldn’t look me in the eye, keeping her head down; since my name far and wide carries the label, “apostate”, of the very worst.  I thanked her at the end of the transaction but she was so afraid, she couldn’t utter “you’re welcome”, imparting a slight grumble instead.   This is so different than how I approached disfellowshipped ones when I was in the organization.  I wanted to assure them of my love and wasn’t afraid to sit by them during a meeting, making eye contact and smiling at them.  I wasn’t afraid to speak to them in public and ask how they were.   They received no other love when visiting the congregation.  Their faces were deadpan, they were completely ignored when attending meetings.  For many, the only reason they strive to regain their place in the congregation is because they want to be loved by those whom they thought would loved them until the end.
To the woman in the office, I am her enemy, but it won’t stop me from following Jesus’ teachings as closely as possible, and speaking to as many JWs and anointed “Israel”, as I possibly can.  Matt 10:6,23
“You have heard that it was said, Love your neighbor and hate your enemy. 44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 so that you may be children of your Father in heaven. For he causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. 46 For if you love those who love you, what reward will you have? Don’t even the tax collectors do the same? 47 And if you greet only your brothers and sisters, what are you doing out of the ordinary? Don’t even the Gentiles do the same?48 Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.”  Matt 5:43-48
“If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners love those who love them. 33 If you do what is good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners do that. 34 And if you lend to those from whom you expect to receive, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners to be repaid in full. 35 But love your enemies, do what is good, and lend, expecting nothing in return. Then your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High. For he is gracious to the ungrateful and evil. 36 Be merciful, just as your Father also is merciful.”  Luke 6:32-36

I write this to JWs, who know exactly what I'm talking about.  You are an outsider, fully immersed in the activities of the world; so, to you, whatever WT does, appears to be okay; as they cleverly speak out both sides of the mouth.  They convince its members they are "no part of the world" by saying,
     - Stay away from politics.  Be neutral. (but, for the org., it's okay to accept gifts from members that includes military stock)  Don't smoke, (but its okay for the org. to have stock in cigarette companies if it is a gift)
But train the JW eye to...
     - Pay attention to the signs in Satan's world.  Look closely at politics and the wars at hand.  Examine all activities occurring in Satan's realm and be prepared for disaster.
"About the times and the seasons (this is the season of worldly unrest):  Brothers and sisters, you do not need anything to be written to you.  For you yourselves know very well that the day of the Lord will come just like a thief in the night.  When they say, "Peace and security" then sudden destruction will come upon them, like labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape" 1 Thess 5:1-3

You are so right, SM, I am “ignorant” of UN’s worldly dealings, since I try earnestly to be “no part of the world”.  If it has been debunked, perhaps YOU can share this with @Equivocation as ‘food for thought’.
In the meantime, some things are just so blatant, they can’t be “debunked”.   This is for Equivocation to explore Watchtower’s worldly ties in Europe, even after it was revealed the organization had been a member of the NGO in the US for nine years.
     It begins around 8:48

Here’s just one example of their involvement, reaching out to the UN instead of God for support.  There are many more.   In fact, Watchtower’s historic court battles are always fought on the worldly front.  If a case is won, they say God is responsible for their victory.  However, Russia steps in and wipes out their material holdings, and JWs begin fleeing the country.  The case presented by JW’s lawyers just didn’t save them, much to their surprise.  Where was God’s helping hand during that time?  To mitigate the conundrum, Russia is now prophetically proclaimed  by the GB as the “King of the north”.  Ah, that remedies their problem of dealing with mass hysteria.  Apparently, God will step in soon and save the Watchtower idol.
    No.
"This is what the Lord, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel says:
I am the Lord your God,
who teaches you for your benefit,
who leads you in the way you should go.
18 If only you had paid attention to my commands.
Then your peace would have been like a river,
and your righteousness like the waves of the sea.
19 Your descendants would have been as countless as the sand,
    and the offspring of your body like its grains;
their name would not be cut off
or eliminated from my presence."  Isa 48:17-19
Membership is dropping, simply because the Watchtower is bolstering a lie and people don't want to hear it.

    Another example.

Interesting theory, but somehow I don’t think Google will accomplish conquering the saints. 😐

"The dragon stood on the shore of the sea. And I saw a beast coming out of the sea. It had ten horns and seven heads, with ten crowns on its horns, and on each head a blasphemous name.
It was given power to wage war against God’s saints and to conquer them. And it was given authority over every tribe, people, language and nation.
Then I saw a second beast, coming out of the earth. It had two horns like a lamb, but it spoke like a dragon.
The second beast was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that the image could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed.
This calls for wisdom. Let the person who has insight calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man. That number is 666."

  25. Confused
Witness got a reaction from BillyTheKid46 in An interesting take on politics, conspiracies, and prophecies
The Ethiopian eunuch was striving to understand what he was reading in the book of Isaiah.  Through Holy Spirit, Phillip is directed to go to him and explain the scriptures. Acts 8:26-31  The man, once comprehending and believing Christ as his savior, was baptized.  To me, this explains the role of the anointed ones, which is to teach others about Christ and God’s Kingdom.
Mal 2:7 - “For the lips of a priest (1 Pet 2:5,9,10) should keep knowledge,
And people should seek the law from his mouth; For he is the messenger of the Lord of hosts.”
    John 7:38,39; Rev 22:17
The scriptures offer guidance to everyone.  The symbolism of water baptism opens the way for God to guide all of us through “living waters”.
Jesus answered, "If you knew the gift of God, and who is saying to you, 'Give me a drink,' you would ask him, and he would give you living water."  John 4:10
As Satan’s world spirals down to nothing, the clear message about Christ has become severely skewed by false prophets, false teachers.   The message that the anointed must teach, has been tainted as they listen to those who rule over them.    Rev 8:11; 13:11,14-17   I remember reading in a Watchtower not long ago, how it was explained that there was intense focus on Christ in the early days of the organization, but it had to be changed to focus on “Jehovah’s name”.  I was appalled at realizing how far from the teachings in the scriptures the WT had fallen.  They have reorganized and twisted scriptures to their liking causing  Christ’s message to be bridled, and his anointed oppressed.  The teachings of Christ are progressively suppressed to make way for the glorification of the teachings of men….yet, it is all done in the name of Jesus Christ!
This is how Satan successfully deceives, by giving us bits and pieces of truth to help an individual on the edge of falling into his trap, become prepped to swallow his lies through his agents.  2 Cor 11:4,13-15
The anointed under the “woman” covenant are fully tested by Satan as God allows, and this test is magnified  as the end draws close.   Luke 22:31; Rev 12:4,13,14,17;Gal 4:26   Jesus’ teachings were preparing his Temple/priests who would be serving all of mankind in the Kingdom. He’s basically saying, I’ve chosen these individuals who must be thoroughly refined and found worthy to teach and serve you in the Kingdom.  Pay attention to my sayings, make sure their words are true, since many will fall away from me and “malign the truth”.  2 Pet 2:1-3  Follow my teachings and warnings about them, about the Kingdom, and submit to the guidance from the Father in all of this, so that you receive eternal life.   Jesus had flocks of people hanging on to these words, as did the apostles.  (1 Cor 1:1,2)
So, his teachings and those of the apostles are fitting for all of us, giving guidelines and warnings to comprehend how the anointed are to be ready for the Kingdom; and what they, and all of us will face when Satan comes down hard in the last days.  Which is now. It is imperative to heed what scriptures teach us about Satan's deceptions; since the Marriage Feast, which is the unfurling of Revelation’s meanings, holds out an invitation to all – to all who are leaving the “city”, which you have.  Dan 12:4; Rev 1:1; Matt 22:1-14; Rev 22:17
Pearl Doxsey’s search box is an avenue to find out more about the “little flock” and “other sheep” and the Marriage Feast.
