If the goal is to imitate the hierarchy of the Catholic Church, we are well on our way.
Already we are baptizing children as young as 8 years old... and the exemplar, Jesus Christ was not baptized until he was 33 years old.
Trials and inquires in ancient Israel were in the City Gates, where all could see, hear, and make comments ... completely open and above board ... complete transparency of the institution of Justice, and the administrators of Justice.
It served God's people well for many thousands of years.
What we have now only serves the best interests of the Corporation.

Sorry.  This is what I was generally reacting to.  There is no support for the "weak", the victims of abuse.  I see the governing body/organization on the receiving end of donations, time, energy, the slaving of members including the very victims they refuse to give protection from pedophiles.   Even in a court of law the org. refuse to "give".
Yet, the GB will tell you how much 'giving' they have done for the sheep by providing failed "food at the proper time".
    It is sheer hypocrisy.
In the long run, the "recalcitrant contrarians" will have to face Christ for their actions.

I could address an entire article and you would have problems with it.  I reposted this under Bible Discussion since it has been buried under "controversial posts":    https://www.theworldnewsmedia.org/forums/topic/55510-korahs-rebellion-and-the-watchtower/
Eph 4:11-13 This pertains to the anointed Body of Christ, the Temple of God.1 Cor 3:16,17  Are any recognized beyond the governing body as having the various gifts to upbuild the Body?  NO.  These gifts are signified as bestowed on a “Gentile” elder body which is NOT ACCORDING TO SCRIPTURE.  Matt 24:15; 1 Thess 2:3,4 ; Rev 13:5-8;  Ezek 44:6-9
You are not recognizing this, nor are most all other JWs.  You see a false priesthood as blessed by God to lead the congregations, forgetting that God already chose His priesthood.  Isa 43:10;1 Pet 2:5,9
    You say,
You continue to echo the pattern of the Pharisees, and I HOPE one day, you will understand, you do a “disservice” to your proclamation of being one of Christ followers, by your personal actions and attacks! John 10:1-21, Matt 23:1-12, Mark 12:38-40; Lk 20:45-47
Jesus had no problem warning his people of the Pharisees.  So, to be Christ-like I too, will warn my people of today’s “Pharisees” – of the GB’s “leaven” (unscriptural doctrine) and the heavy burdens put upon JWs in the form of service to an idol, dress codes, how a kingdom hall should be cared for and cleaned, even the amount of donations to be expected by individuals in the congregations. Isa 28:10; Col 2:20-23; Rev 11:1-3  All spiritual provisions must be bought and paid for by service to an idol.  Rev 13:17   Go back to Haggai 1:6.  Everything you do for the organization and its leadership rewards you with a “bag of holes”.  Watchtower’s rotten fruit is nothing to bank on.
“Blind guides, who strain out a gnat and swallow a camel!”  Matt 23:24
Summoning the crowd, he told them, “Listen and understand: 11 It’s not what goes into the mouth that defiles a person, but what comes out of the mouth—this defiles a person.”
12 Then the disciples came up and told him, “Do you know that the Pharisees took offense when they heard what you said?”
Which seems you have the same problem with my accusations against the GB.
13 He replied, “Every plant that my heavenly Father didn’t plant will be uprooted. 14 Leave them alone! They are blind guides.  And if the blind guide the blind, both will fall into a pit.”
15 Then Peter said, “Explain this parable to us.”
16 “Do you still lack understanding?” he asked. 17 “Don’t you realize that whatever goes into the mouth passes into the stomach and is eliminated?18 But what comes out of the mouth comes from the heart, and this defiles a person.
Preaching failed and changed doctrine does not build up, but defiles and erodes one’s faith.
19 For from the heart come evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, sexual immoralities, thefts, false testimonies, slander. 20 These are the things that defile a person; but eating with unwashed hands does not defile a person.”  Matt 15:10-20
Should God’s anointed priesthood obey men who parrot falsehoods and who are not part of the anointed Body of Christ? This would be unscriptural.  Jer 14:14; 2 Cor 11:4,20; 2 Tim 2:26; Rev 13:7
Should you?  All Watchtower’s leaders are blind guides.  Not one of their predictions has come true. Only those spiritually deceived to the point of drunkenness would call a lie, the truth.  2 Thess 2:9-12; Rev 17:1-6; Jer 25:27-29; Rev 18:3,4
Allen, please – I beg all JWs to recognize the true Zion/Temple of God as the anointed one and not an earthly organization or its buildings.    This corporation is Satan’s master plan to destroy these “kings”; thus, the war of Armageddon is Satan and his “kings” warring against Christ and those owned by him.  You are witnessing this war as you read this.   It is a war of truth against lies.  Think about it, Christ exposed the Pharisees for their lies.  It has always been a spiritual battle of truth against lies, and prophecy has always concerned those in covenant with God.  John 8:44; Eph 6:12; Rev 1:5; 16:12-16; 6:15
Simply, Watchtower’s teachers are experts at covering over their lies.  Allen, you have a vast knowledge of scripture, and through scripture, we know that the apostles and all anointed who will “rule” with Christ, must be as blameless as he is.  Phil 2:15; Ps 119:1; Rev 14:5  They must be refined, they must repent of all falsehoods and idolatrous motives, and rely completely on Christ. Mal 3:1-3  Each one must “buy” their spiritual provisions from only him.  Matt 25:1-13; Rev 3:18  Each one must treat the other as his “member” – cherishing that person as himself; whether male or female. 1 Cor 12:20-26; Gal 3:28  The care and love for each anointed member doesn’t exist with the governing body who marks one as an outcast for refusing their human doctrine. John 16:2,3; Matt 10:18; 1 John 3:10-12; Rev 13:11-17  It cannot be manifested when the anointed are told to remain apart from one another.  The governing body members have no regard or love for their “fellow slave”.  Matt 24:48-51
John 10:1-21 – Who is the door, the Watchtower or Jesus?

Witness got a reaction from DefenderOTT in "Human Opinion Elevated to Divine Status"
The Watchtower believes it does – it’s called reinstatement.
I do pray you wake up from your stupor!  You say the right words, you presented good information, but can’t see the forest for the “apostate” trees!
Matt 3:10 – “The ax is already at the root of the trees, and every tree that does not produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire.”
Who are the trees?  They are the spirit-anointed ones.   Ps 1:3; Jer 17:8; Ezek 47:12; Rev 22:1,2   Out of their mouths are to flow “living water” from Christ, NOT their own opinions or understanding or timelines.  John 4:10,13,14; 7:37,38; Matt 12:35,37; 1 Thess 5:1-3
You are eliminating the governing body from those who “lean on their own understanding”.  This composite entity has taught millions of people false doctrine, based on their own understanding.  The individual in the video woke up to that fact.  Is he to blame for rejecting falsehoods and leaving them behind, or is the source of the falsehood the one to receive the blame? Jer 8:8,9 Yet, you excuse the governing body’s actions.  Are they Christ?  Are they Moses?
    Again:
In the past, we thought that the great tribulation began in 1914 when World War I started. We thought that Jehovah “cut short” those days in 1918 when the war ended so that the remaining anointed ones on earth could preach the good news to all nations. (Matthew 24:21, 22) After that preaching work would be completed, we expected that Satan’s world would be destroyed. So we thought that there were three parts to the great tribulation. It would begin in 1914, it would be interrupted in 1918, and it would finish at Armageddon. ws13 7/15 pp. 3-8
Of course, we can't forget the generation analogies.
Who do you think has “fallen away” and misled “many” by their own “depraved conduct”?  2 Pet 2:1-3 The “wolves in sheep’s clothing” are among you!  Luke 21:8; Acts 20:29; Rev 13:11
I would hope you see how the teachings of Christ have changed by Watchtower’s doctrines!  WHO has power over the entire anointed Body of Christ and over all sheep?  Is it Christ, or men?  Again, these men are not Moses or Christ.  The man in the video rejected false doctrine as we are admonished by scripture to do.  Jer 23:16; Isa 9:15,16  Yet, he is most likely disfellowshipped for doing so and judged as a lost soul.   Mark 10:42-45; John 16:2,3
Just as the true followers of Christ rejected the Pharisees, the true followers of Christ today, FOLLOW CHRIST AND NOT WICKED MEN who are looking for their own personal gain.  Both then and now, only a remnant are found to leave lies…which is every conceivable wayward thought TAUGHT AS DOCTRINE BY THE GOVERNING BODY…behind.
    Watchtower 07/9/1 p 31  Question from Readers:
What did Jesus mean when he said that his faithful slave would be “discreet”?
Consider also Jesus’ use of the word “discreet” at Matthew 7:24. Jesus said: “Everyone that hears these sayings of mine and does them will be likened to a discreet man, who built his house upon the rock-mass.” The discreet man builds solidly, in view of the possibility of a storm. In contrast, the foolish man builds on sand and loses his house. THUS, a discreet follower of Jesus is one who foresees the bad consequences of FOLLOWING HUMAN WISDOM.  His discernment and good judgment lead him to base his faith, actions, and teachings FIRMLY on what Jesus taught.
“The faithful and discreet slave” acts similarly.
Does it really?  “Beliefs Clarified” come to mind.  Every example of those changed teachings is none other than foolishness and human wisdom, the governing body’s “own perceived understanding of it”.  Every “clarified” teaching is an attempt to “mortar” the cracks in Watchtower’s walls.  Ezek 13:10-16; Isa 30:8-14; 1 Thess 5:3
Have they blamed others for their own foolish teaching failures?  Yes.  They blame the sheep.  I can give you examples.
“Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood. For I know this, that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock.  Also from among yourselves men will rise up, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after themselves.“  Acts 20:28-30
JWs call “Beliefs Clarified”, “new light”.  That alone is a clever twist on what are obvious falsehoods.  The meaning of “perverse things” – to distort or turn aside, corrupt (the truth!), turn aside from the right path; which is every falsehood the governing body has presented before the sheep as “truth”. They could care less about “sparing the flock”, but only for drawing away disciples after themselves – with continuous empty promises.  2 Cor 11:4,19,20
“to oppose, plot against, the saving purposes and plans of God”  The greatest instigator to plot against Christ’s seed is Satan.  He uses individuals to do his work and carry out his will. 2 Cor 11:13-15 The best option is to win over anointed ones to ‘plot against the saving purposes and plans of God” that involves the anointed ones.  Matt 24:15; 2 Thess 2:1-12; Rev 13:1,7,8,11,14-17; 9:1; 8:10,11
DO NOT DECEIVE YOURSELF WITH FALSE REASONING  WATCHTOWER 2011
“WHAT is this you have done?” God asked Eve after she had eaten from the forbidden tree. “The serpent —it deceived me and so I ate,” she replied. (Gen. 3:13) Satan, the crafty serpent who led her to disobey God, was later called “the original serpent, . . . who is misleading the entire inhabited earth.” —Rev. 12:9.
This Genesis account presents Satan as cunning, as one who spins lies with the intention of deceiving the unwary. Eve certainly succumbed to his deceit. Nevertheless, we should not think that Satan is the only one who can mislead us. The Bible also warns about the danger of ‘deceiving ourselves with false reasoning.’ —Jas. 1:22.
The thought of deceiving ourselves may seem highly improbable or even impossible. The divine warning, however, is obviously there for a purpose. So we would do well to consider how we might deceive ourselves and what sort of false reasoning could mislead us.
“Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. 8 Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.”  Gal 6:7,8
Are you being deceived by false reasoning, handed out to you as life-giving nourishment from “Jehovah’s organization” – an idol that requires your “gold”? Exodus 32:22-24
In the time of the end, there is both a faithful and discreet slave/steward over his anointed House, chosen from among the faithful slaves, to care for Jesus’ belongings –which are his sheep. Matt.24:46-47; 28:18; Ps.2:8; Gen.13:14-15; 28:13-14; Dan.7:18)
    …as well as his Truth/”gold” Rev 3:18; John 14:6;1:14; Ps 119:89; Matt 6:20; Isa 40:8; Luke 21:33; John 5:24; 6:27,51,55
And a wicked slave who maligns the Truth, deceives many with fabricated stories and tosses out their “fellow slaves” for speaking Christ’s Truth.   Matt 24:48-51
One appears magnificent, strong, powerful, with false humility, and having with a large following.  The “faithful slave” on the other hand, appears as Jesus did – rejected, lowly, weak and despised; tossed out of the “synagogue”, yet blessed with Holy Spirit.  1 Cor 1:26-29
You will know them by their “fruits”.  Matt 7:16-20
    Rom 1:20-25
For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, 21 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Professing to be wise, they became fools, 23 and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image (“Jehovah’s spirit-directed organization”)made like corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.
24 Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, 25 who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature (Jehovah’s spirit-directed organization) rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. Rom 1:20-25
Can you, in your mind, separate God from the organization?  Can you walk away from it and give God the exclusive devotion that He demands?  Exod 20:4,5; Isa 45:5

I very seldom down-vote anyone Allensmith ... your arguments fall apart without any help at all.
Specifically, "clergy / penitent" laws are made for ONE penitent and ONE confessor .... and if the Priest or Elder or other person tells ONE OTHER PERSON, that confidence, protected by law, is no longer protected by law.
With a Catholic Priest, that is ONE PERSON.
With a JW Judicial Committee, that starts out with THREE persons, and expands to include Circuit Overseers,  Branch Office personnel of every description, and reports are made in writing to insure that Central Control is maintained down at the congregation level.
In actual practice there are no "extenuating circumstances" ... only the application of WT codified policy.
It is then that JW.ORG ...... becomes JW.BORG.
Resistance is futile, we have been assimilated.

Witness got a reaction from Queen Esther in Your Heritage! What is the First Book You Remember>?
If these books are full of precious wisdom, why are many being discontinued, even some required to be destroyed?  Obviously, the Watchtower doesn't share the same sentimental value for them that the members do.
"In addition to the Teacher being a wise man, he constantly taught the people knowledge; he weighed, explored, and arranged many proverbs. The Teacher sought to find delightful sayings and write words of truth accurately.  The sayings of the wise are like goads, and those from masters of collections are like firmly embedded nails. The sayings are given by one Shepherd.
But beyond these, my son, be warned: there is no end to the making of many books, and much study wearies the body.  When all has been heard, the conclusion of the matter is: fear God and keep His commands, because this is for all humanity. For God will bring every act to judgment, including every hidden thing, whether good or evil."  Eccl 12:9-14

Witness reacted to JOHN BUTLER in CHILD SEX ABUSE INVESTIGATORS MAY PROBE THE JEHOVAH’S WITNESSES
@Space Merchant People outside the faith know only because victims have now made it known, and hence the investigations Earthwide. But the names of the pedophiles and their locations are not known, not even to the brothers and sisters that have children in the congregations. Hence i say prdophiles are being protected and hidden. And brothers and sisters that serve the Org do not look into these things, so they do not know. Nor do they know of the danger they may face on the ministry or at the hall, because the Elders do not make any of this known. If i had spoken about it in the Kingdom Hall when I was a brother,  I would have been disfellowshipped for 'causing a division in the congregation'... This is how they keep things quiet, because brothers and sisters are frightened to talk about anything...  You have to be there in person to fully understand how frightened the congregation members are of the Elders. There are so many things that you just cannot talk about. And the meetings are fully controlled. the Watchtower Study is controlled, so that brothers and sisters only answer the question put in the paragraphs. And no one is allowed to ask question, it's just parrot fashion, read a paragraph then give correct answers. Then move on, next paragraph....
Jesus himself was very blunt and to the point when he noted those that were trying to twist things and use lies and false ideas. Sometimes there is no other way, you just have to tell someone that you can see 'where they are coming from'.
JW's Governing Body make up the rules and change them when it suits, by misusing scriptures. Elders in turn act like robotic servants of the Governing Body. There is no love shown, no empathy. This has been made so clear by the victims of Child Abuse Earthwide and by people that have been shunned for no good reason. And now i fall into the latter catagory. Shunned by brothers and sisters, probably because they think i was disfellowshipped, as they don't tell people when they say ' John Butler is no longer one of Jehovah's Witnesses'. Members of the congregation have no idea if i was disfellowshipped or if I left of my own choice. Though i am very disappointed by those i told prior to leaving, that they too should shun me. But once again fear of man, fear of the elders, fear of 'getting into trouble' if they talk to me.. It's very sad.
Doing anything on the Sabbath was wrong according to the Mosaic Law and punishable, but Jesus said there were times when doing good would override that Law. But the JW Governing Body do not seem to recognise the principle behind that, hence they show no mercy or love.
  13. Thanks
Witness got a reaction from Srecko Sostar in Ex-Jehovah's Witnesses break silence on shunning: 'My mother treats me like I'm dead'
“JehovahÂ’s Witness kids grow up knowing that if they ever mess up, their parents will leave them — and thatÂ’s scary,” Sawyer, now 38, said in a recent interview from her home in Pascagoula, Miss. “The shunning is supposed to make us miss them so much that weÂ’ll come back. Â… It didnÂ’t work.”
Sawyer and many others like her are now denouncing the church's shunning practices in the wake of a recent murder-suicide in Keego Harbor that killed a family of four ex-Jehovah’s Witnesses who were ostracized after leaving the faith. The deaths sparked outrage among scores of ex-JWs nationwide who took to Facebook, online forums, blogs and YouTube, arguing the tragedy highlights a pervasive yet rarely-publicized problem within the church: Shunning is pushing the most vulnerable people over the edge, they say, and tearing families apart.
In the Michigan case, a distraught mother shot and killed her husband, her two grown children and herself in their Keego Harbor home, shocking the small and quiet Oakland County community.
The shooter was Lauren Stuart, a part-time model and personal trainer who struggled with depression and spent much of her time working on her house, her friends say. She and her husband, Daniel Stuart, 47, left the JW faith more than a decade ago over doctrinal and social issues. Among them was their desire to send their kids to college, which many ex-JWs say is frowned upon by the church and viewed as spiritually dangerous.
“University and college campuses are notorious for bad behavior — drug and alcohol abuse, immorality, cheating, hazing, and the list goes on,” a 2005 article in the Watchtower, the church's official publication, stated.
But the Stuarts sent both their kids to college: Steven, 27, excelled in computers, just like his father, who was a data solutions architect for the University of Michigan Medical School. Bethany, 24, thrived in art and graphic design.  After the parents left the faith, the Stuarts were ostracized by the Kingdom Hall — the churches where Jehovah's Witnesses worship — community in Union Lake and their families, friends said.
Lauren Stuart, whose mother died of cancer when she was 12, struggled with mental illness that went untreated; isolation and fears that the end was near, said friends and officials familiar with the case. One friend who requested anonymity said she believes the killing was the result of depression, not religion.
"This is a tragedy that has to do with a disease. Depression is so prevalent, and when it goes untreated this is what happens," the friend said. "She needed medical help."
Longtime family friend Joyce Taylor believes depression, shunning and religion-based doomsday fears all played a role. She said that about six weeks before the killings, Lauren started getting religiously preoccupied and telling her "'It's the end times, I know it is.'"

Weeks later, Taylor saw her friend again. Lauren had a vacant look in her eyes. She was emotionally distressed.
A week later, with her home decorated for Valentine's Day, Lauren Stuart killed her family. She left behind a suicide note.
"She said in the suicide note that she felt that by killing them it was the only way to save them," recalled Taylor, who said police let her read the letter. "She said she's sorry that she has to do this, but it was the only way to save them all."
Taylor, a former Jehovah's Witness herself who left the faith in 1986, explained: "Jehovah's Witnesses believe that if you die on this side of Armageddon, you'll be resurrected in paradise."
In Lauren Stuart's case, Taylor believes her friend never deprogrammed after leaving the church — a state she describes as  "physically out, but mentally in." She believes that Lauren's indoctrinated doomsday fears never left her, and that the shunning helped push her over the edge.
Had she not been excommunicated by her tight-knit community that was once her entire support system — left with no one to share her fears with — Lauren Stuart may not have done what she did, Taylor believes.
"People do things when they are desperate," Taylor said. "And that was an extreme, desperate act."
Shunning "can lead to great trauma among people because the Jehovah's Witnesses are a very tight-knit community," said Mathew Schmalz, a religious studies associate professor at the College of Holy Cross in Worcester, Mass.
"If you're separated out, you're really left to your own devices in ways that are very challenging and very painful," Schmalz said. "Once you leave a group that's been your whole life — letting that go is a kind of death."
Police have not yet disclosed details about the death of the Stuart family besides calling it a murder-suicide.
The tragedy has emboldened many once-quiet ex-JWs to speak up. Many say they suffered quietly on their own for years until they discovered an online community full of isolated, ostracized people like themselves — people who had lost someone to suicide or attempted suicide themselves because their families, friends and church community had written them off for making mistakes, for being human.
The church calls it being "disfellowshipped." Members can return if they repent, change the behavior and prove themselves worthy of being reinstated. But unless or until that happens, members are encouraged to avoid the sinners, especially those who leave the faith.
Mothers go years, even decades, without talking to their children. Siblings write off siblings. Friends shun friends.
An estimated 70,000 Jehovah’s Witnesses are disfellowshipped every year — roughly 1% of the church’s total population, according to data published by the Watchtower. Their names are published at local Kingdom Halls. Of those, two-thirds never return.
Within a faith representing 8.4 million people worldwide, however, many members believe the religion is pure, good and loving. Those who are speaking against it, current members argue, are disgruntled and angry people who have an ax to grind because they were disfellowshipped. Or, they are lost souls who have misinterpreted the meaning and love behind the faith. Members say they believe the shunning accusations are exaggerated and that the suicides are often more about mental illness than ostracism.
    The departed disagree.
In the world of ex-Jehovah’s Witnesses, they maintain, the shunned are considered dead to their families, just like the suicide victims.
    These are their stories:
    ‘A dangerous cult’
It was a difficult conversation to wrap her 8-year-old brain around.
“‘You know your sister was being bad, right?’“ Sawyer recalled her mother telling her after her sister's suicide.
“ ‘And what she did was stupid, right?’ … To take your own life is very wrong,' " the mother continued.
“I didn’t understand what was going on … and I said, ‘Oh. OK,,’ “ recalled Sawyer. “In my 8-year-old brain I was thinking, ‘When I mess up, my mom’s going to hate me.’ "
And so began her painful journey with the Jehovah’s Witness faith, the religion she was born into and grew up in in Pascagoula, Miss., where her fears of abandonment took hold at the age of 8.
Sawyer believes the shunning drove her sister to suicide. After the church disfellowshipped her for getting engaged to a non-JW, the fiancé left her sister, who was thrown into depression. Her sister tried turning to her mother for consolation, but her mom would read scripture and tell her, "until you start acting right, you’re going to have these bad things happen to you.“
Bad things happened to Sawyer, too. At 30, she sought a divorce from her husband because he was abusive and cheating on her, she said. But the church elders and family pressured her to save her marriage.
“I showed them the holes in my walls,” Sawyer said, referring to the damage her ex-husband did to the home during fights. “They told me to pray more … and sent me back home to him.”
Sawyer took up smoking to handle the stress, which got her disfellowshipped because smoking is not allowed. She also went through with the divorce. She ended up losing her home to foreclosure and turned to her mother for help as she had two children to raise.

Her mother took her in temporarily, but when the church elders found out, they threatened to disfellowship Sawyer’s mother — who let the grandkids stay, but not the daughter.
Sawyer ended up homeless for six months, living out of her car in a community college parking lot. She landed on her feet with the help of a student loan. She got an apartment, a job as a hospice nurse and her children — now 10 and 18 — back. She found herself, but lost her family along the way.
Her mother doesnÂ’t speak to her; she said she canÂ’t recall the last time they spoke.
Her sister in Alabama hasnÂ’t spoken to her since Sawyer got divorced in 2010.
“She was on my porch, with my parents … My sister looked at me and said, ‘You’re abandoning me just like Donna did’ And left. And that's the last thing she ever said to me."
Sawyer has kept silent about her pain for decades.
“This is a dangerous cult,” she said of her former religion. “It’s important for people to realize —  this is serious.”

I pray you open your eyes, and perceive beyond the physical powers in Satan’s world.
“And I saw the wild beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to wage war against the one seated on the horse and against his army.” Rev 19:19
“Earth” has always referred to God’s people under covenant and represents the anointed today.  Jer 25:29,30,34; Matt 23:34,35
“kings of the earth” are under Jesus’ rule:  “John, to the seven churches which are in Asia:
Grace to you and peace from Him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven Spirits who are before His throne, 5 and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth.  To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.  Rev 1:4-6
Jesus is not involved in politics; he wasn’t when he was on earth and he isn’t now.  – “Again, the devil took Him up on an exceedingly high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory.  And he said to Him, “All these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me.”  Then Jesus said to him, “Away with you, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve.’” Matt 4:8-10 (Luke 4:5,6)
His faithful “kings of the earth” are not of Satan’s world.  John 17:16  (John 8:23)
“My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now My kingdom is not from here.” John 18:36
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Eph 6:12
Why should Armageddon be any different?  It is not fought on the worldly front, but between “kings of the earth”/anointed who are at odds with one another, and is happening now.    Jesus’ focus is on those who either obey him or disobey him  -  the “kings and priests” that he rules over.  1 Pet 5:9,10
“And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written:
    KING OF KINGS AND
    LORD OF LORDS.”   Rev 19:16
    There are faithful “kings of the earth” – “And have made us kings and priests to our God;
And we shall reign on the earth.”  Rev 5:10
As well as unfaithful “kings of the earth” who are heavily influenced by Satan’s world; falling for his tempting offer for power and prominence. And if influenced by Satan, what comes out of their mouth is false doctrine.  John 8:44; Matt 7:15-20
”Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon.”  Rev 13:11
This beast is a false anointed, composite “prophet”.  It works in tandem with the Wild Beast from the Sea.  Rev 13:12;19:20
“And I saw the wild beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to wage war against the one seated on the horse and against his army.”
Can you see this?  Jesus’ “kings” are at war in the spiritual realm; manifested through teachings, either true or false.   2 Thess 2:9-12
The false prophet/Beast of the earth “inspires”/breathes spirit/spirit-directs “life” into the Beast of the Sea…which comes against the anointed ones.  Rev 13:15,7
What “image” do you know of, that is “spirit-directed” and run by anointed ones?
Those that are spiritually “killed” (disfellowshipped) by the Wild Beast for refusing to serve only Christ, may become sealed into his “army” to fight against the unfaithful, spiritually immoral “kings of the earth”.  Rev 13:15
Do you see a political nation in the world that kills the anointed ones that it has come against?
Just look at Rev 1:4-6 and it will tell you who the “kings of the earth” are.  The definition doesn’t change through the various scriptures about them, in Revelation.
Better stop here.  I fear I’ve lost you.  You ask,
Do you really think the wild beast and the kings of the earth and their armies will say: "We hate God"? No. They will say:"We love God.
    And they do.
“And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains, 16 and said to the mountains and rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! 17 For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?”  Rev 6:15-17
“But I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple.  The city had no need of the sun or of the moon to shine in it, for the glory of God illuminated it. The Lamb is its light. 2And the nations of those who are saved shall walk in its light, and the kings of the earth bring their glory and honor into it.
But there shall by no means enter it anything that defiles, or causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life." Rev 21:22-25,27
Still think the kings of the earth are the political rulers?  What would they be doing in the Temple?  1 Cor 3:16,17; Eph 2:20-22
    Armageddon is the battle between faithful kings; refined, cleansed from Satan’s lies and who speak truth in Christ vs. kings who have transgressed the covenant, dominated their brothers as a “wicked slave”;
and all of them – are anointed.

Surely you know that you become the slaves of whatever you give yourselves to. Anything or anyone you follow will be your master. You can follow sin, or you can obey God. Following sin brings spiritual death, but obeying God makes you right with him.  (Rom 6:16 )  Now do you think I am trying to make people accept me? No, God is the one I am trying to please. Am I trying to please people? If I wanted to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.  (Gal 1:10)
God paid a high price for you, so don’t be slaves to anyone else. (1 Cor 7:23)  Remember that you will receive your reward from the Lord, who will give you what he promised his people. Yes, you are serving Christ. He is your real Master.  Col 3:24
Jesus said, “Their worship of me is worthless. The things they teach are only human rules.’”  Matt 15:9
I say this because you are even patient with someone who forces you to do things and uses you. You are patient with those who trick you, or think they are better than you, or hit you in the face!  (2 Cor 11:20)

The organization is not my mediator, nor should it be anyone else’s.  I think that is enough scriptural proof to show you, I have no other Master that I am submissive to.

You believe Christ isn’t guiding me.
You believe I’m a lone wolf.
You believe God approved of 8 men self-appointing themselves as a “faithful and discreet slave”.  You do realize by eliminating all other anointed ones in this category, a designation made only by Christ when he arrives, they have set themselves into the position of a wicked slave….don’t you?  Matt 25:21 No other anointed one can fulfill that title.  They have assumed all glory and authority (that rings a bell…Luke 4:6) over all the “slaves”; and they wield it freely using their “muscle”/elder body.  That also helps seal the deal.  The anointed Body are not the shepherds.  Clearly, the wicked slave “eats and drinks with drunkards” - sharing spiritual “food”/doctrine with the false priesthood/elder body that is used against his fellow anointed “servants” for “beating” them into submission.  Matt 24:48-51
You are a very assuming person to believe God and Jesus have sanctioned an elder body not anointed to replace their own choice – the anointed priesthood and true shepherds of the sheep. 1 Pet 2:5,9  Do you really believe Jesus is okay with men’s replacement of his true shepherds that are members of his own Body?
“Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of Godwhich He purchased with His own blood. 29 For I know this, that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock. 30 Also from among yourselves men will rise up, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after themselves. 31 Therefore watch, and remember that for three years I did not cease to warn everyone night and day with tears. Acts 20:28-31
“savage” – heavy, weighty, burdensome, severe, imposing, impressive.
“perverse things” - to distort, turn aside; to oppose, plot against the saving purposes and plans of God; to turn aside from the right path, to pervert, corrupt
“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. 16 You will know them by their fruits.”  Matt 7:15,16
“ravenous” – rapacious, a robber, an extortioner
Jesus surely knew the imposing image of the GB and its elder body would have no problem fleecing the sheep with false stories and a false hope of salvation through an organization – a turning aside from the true source of salvation.  Acts 4:12  They are experts at blackmail; threatening with disfellowshipping their own “servants” for rejecting their made up stories.  Matt 24:48-51; Rev 13:1,4,7,11,15
The true shepherds are in existence and are guided by their Master, Jesus.  Which shepherds will you choose to be guided by, those who listen to extortioners who plot to shatter any power the anointed have left, throwing truth down to the ground; or those who listen to Jesus?   Dan 12:7; 8:12
Are you aware of the iniquities in Ezekiel that caused the Lord to “forsake the land" and call for a mark on the foreheads of those “sighing and crying”?
Ezek 8:5 – “Then He said to me, “Son of man, lift your eyes now toward the north.” So I lifted my eyes toward the north, and there, north of the altar gate, was this image of jealousy in the entrance.”
This is the entrance to the altar sacrifice.  “Furthermore He said to me, “Son of man, do you see what they are doing, the great abominations that the house of Israel commits here, to make Me go far away from My sanctuary? Now turn again, you will see greater abominations.” Verse 6
“And He said to me, “Go in, and see the wicked abominations which they are doing there.” Verse 9
There was both an “image” as well as activities taking place in God’s Temple.
“And there stood before them seventy men of the elders of the house of Israel, and in their midst stood Jaazaniah the son of Shaphan. Each man had a censer in his hand, and a thick cloud of incense went up.” Verse 11
Were the priests present in the Temple?  No, “elders” had desecrated the Temple of God, blocking the entrance and not allowing approved sacrifices to be offered by God’s appointed priesthood.
Sound familiar?  Only if you realize that the Temple under Christ, (1 Cor 3:16,17) is the holy anointed priesthood, and an “image of jealousy”, the unanointed elder body, stands in, sits in, and tramples upon, God’s Temple. Matt 24:15; Rev 11:1-3; 2 Thess 2:3,4 So, along with the detestable practices of “shepherding” in the cases of child abuse among other judicial matters, God’s appointed priesthood has been shoved aside for an “image of jealousy” and its detestable activities.
I hope every elder, every JW, takes note.

“Now the glory of the God of Israel went up from above the cherubim, where it had been, and moved to the threshold of the temple. Then the Lord called to the man clothed in linen who had the writing kit at his side 4 and said to him, “Go throughout the city of Jerusalem and put a mark on the foreheads of those who grieve and lament over all the detestable things that are done in it.”  Ezek 9:3-5
What happens after the that?  And where is God’s present sanctuary/”Jerusalem” found?  Ezek 9:5-11; 1 Pet 2:5,9,10; 1 Cor 3:16,17; 2 Cor 6:14-17
Not all grieve over the detestable things in the organization but make excuses for them.  It takes the nations to impress upon Watchtower’s leaders to change their tactics with child abusers.  It is men, leading men; not God and his righteous decrees leading men who call themselves the “faithful and discreet slave”.
Every comparison of the organization with all other earthly organizations is comparing all powers together in “Babylon”.  Rev 18:4-8

"Are things being covered up? No." Really. So did the GB refuse to hand over the documents to the court in California USA or not ? Did the UK branch refuse to hand over documents at first or not ? Yes it seems the UK branch handed them over eventually. Was there a serious problem in Australia or not ? Is the work being done by Reclaimed Voices in the Netherlands just all lies ?  Does the Supreme Court of Quebec have any grounds for a 'class action lawsuit' or not ? Was the two witness rule being used to stop progress on accusations by victims ? Is being disfellowshipped enough ? Past sins ? Are the actions of pedophiles 'past sins' or could it be that as some have mentioned, pedophilia is a mental illness and not controllable ?  And as for making sins known, the apostle Paul wasn't afraid to mention people's sins. 'A man having sex with his father's wife' I believe Paul said....
I left the Org for many reasons. 1. Yes it bothered my conscience to be part of an Org that would allow this to happen. 2. I could not go into the ministry and invite people into such an Org. 3. I did not want to get disfellowshipped for 'causing division in the congregation' as i would have been if I spoke about my concerns with others. 4. I thought and still think that brothers and sisters should be warned about what might happen to them in the ministry due to this situation. Basing this upon a recent happening in the Kingdom Hall which i regularly attended, where a brother was murdered last year. https://www.devonlive.com/news/devon-news/knifeman-admits-devon-jehovahs-witness-791434 .
There are many other questions in my mind now. The GB say they are the 'faithful and discreet slave'. they also say that others of the anointed are not of the faithful slave class. Why should we believe them? The GB have changed the meaning of scriptures many times, the generation one being a main issue. Now if they are being guided by Jesus and the holy spirit, why would they make these important mistakes ? Also why would they refuse to be helpful in the cleaning up of the JW Org ? Surely it does bring shame on Jehovah to have his name associated with child Abuse ?
"follow what is presented not what we think should be done". Then you are worshipping men by believing everything they tell you, and obeying their orders without question... 'Put not your trust in earthling man, in whom no salvation belongs' (I think that is quoted right). I never follow what I'm told in such things unless it can be proved from scriptures.  And Jesus said 'I want mercy not sacrifice', meaning it's about God's word being a protection and about showing love and empathy. It is not about keeping an Organisation looking clean, 'like a whitewashed grave, full of dead men's bones'... And as for your comparison to the Apostles, well, it's laughable. The Apostles proved fully that they had God's and Jesus' approval and help. The Governing Body of JW Org in no way come close. The GB have only their own words to say they are the faithful slave class, they do not have any proof at all.
I could go deeper, into the name Jehovah, but it's too late in the day. YHWH or in Hebrew properly HWHY from right to left. Why is it not Yahweh or as some say Yahovah or Yahowah ? The name Jehovah came from false religion and was convenient to use as people already knew it. But does that make it right ?
Enough. God Himself or Jesus Christ will judge me. They will look into my heart and they will know my complete life, so they will judge me on what they know about me and what the intentions of my heart are. They will know how I suffered child abuse, sexual. physical. mental, emotional, and how I still suffer torment from it all. And therefore they will see why i have taken my stand for truth.

Witness got a reaction from Nana Fofana in Why does the bible say the great crowd is in heaven?
The Great Crowd is a segment of the “144,000” -  the anointed remnant to come out of the Great Tribulation, victorious.  Rev 7:14,15  They are the last of the sealed priests to be added to God’s Temple.   Why should God change his ancient decrees about who it is, that stands before the throne of God?  It’s quite a stretch for Wt. to say a “great crowd” does this from earth. They know only priests are allowed to render sacred service in God’s temple; so they fabricated another story and quite a doozy, to mislead millions with untruth. 2 Pet 2:3; Heb.10:11; 8:1,2; 1 Pet 2:5; Rev 7:15
“No one is to enter the temple of the Lord except the priests and Levites on duty; they may enter because they are consecrated, but all the others are to observe the Lord’s command not to enter.” 2 Chron 23:6
“The duty of the Levites was to help Aaron’s descendants in the service of the temple of the Lord: to be in charge of the courtyards, the side rooms, the purification of all sacred things and the performance of other duties at the house of God.
They were also to stand every morning to thank and praise the Lord. They were to do the same in the evening”  1 Chron 23:28-30
“But only you and your sons may serve as priests in connection with everything at the altar and inside the curtain. I am giving you the service of the priesthood as a gift. Anyone else who comes near the sanctuary is to be put to death.”  Num 18:7
“They serve at a sanctuary that is a copy and shadow of what is in heaven. This is why Moses was warned when he was about to build the tabernacle: “See to it that you make everything according to the pattern shown you on the mountain.”  Heb 8:5
The coming Kingdom of God results from the sealing of the last number of “living stones” into the Temple. 1 Pet 5:9,10; Zech 4:7-9  THEN, “New Jerusalem” is complete and comes “down out of heaven” to both rule and serve mankind.  Rev 3:12; 21:2  Revelation is primarily about this remnant conquering Satan and his last evil ploy. 2 Thess 2:9-12 They join the “144,000” who stand for Truth – blameless, with no lie found in their mouths. Rev 14:5
Rev 20:4-6 mentions the “144,000” reign with Christ during the thousand years, which started when Jesus ascended into heaven.  (Rev 5:9,10) These were never overpowered by the Beasts, to receive the “mark”. Rev 20:4 (Rev 13:15-17)  After the thousand years, the Great Tribulation begins when Satan is released.  Rev 20:2,3,7; 12:12,17  This is the time period when the last of the “144,000” (the number itself represents Truth), the remnant, are under attack by the two beasts of Rev 13.  Those that are victorious, are the “great” crowd – no one knows how many, with “great” having a further meaning than just a number.  Rev 11:1-11
And since the Watchtower has admitted that Gog and Magog, and the Beasts of Revelation are most likely the same identities, this also signifies that the thousand years are ended.
    From Wt 13/11/15 pp. 16-20
“The prophecy about seven shepherds and eight dukes has its major fulfillment in our day. The citizens of ancient Jerusalem were attacked by the Assyrians. IN THE NEAR FUTURE, Jehovah’s apparently vulnerable people will come under attack from the modern-day “Assyrian,” WHOSE INTENT WILL BE TO WIPE THEM OUT. (caps are mine) The Scriptures refer to that attack as well as the attack of ‘Gog of Magog,’ the attack of “the king of the north,” and the attack of “the kings of the earth.” (Ezek. 38:2, 10-13; Dan. 11:40, 44, 45; Rev. 17:14; 19:19) Do these represent separate attacks? Not necessarily. The Bible could be referring to the same attack under different names.”
By saying this, they are admitting there is no battle to face, no deception by Satan, a thousand years after Armageddon.  They can’t have it both ways, but they do try…
“We are told that AT THE END OF THE 1,000 YEARS, Satan will be released from the abyss, and “he will go out to mislead those nations in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together for the war.” w15 5/15 p. 29-p. 30 par. 5
The first Wt. quote above, states this attack would happen in the “near future”, and is also the Beast of Rev 19:19, which is the same Beast of Rev 13:1, who parleys with the Beast from the Earth/false prophet – but only for a little while longer. Rev 13:11; 17:15-17
Please, don’t let the Watchtower fool you!  Surely, it is obvious who fits the identities of the two Beasts - one a false prophet and the other a spirit-breathed/directed "image" - that come against the anointed remnant who are gathered together in the Watchtower. Rev 20:7-10; 13:5-7, 11,14,15

Barnes was not one for slavery (pro slavery), you are correct about this, however his faith, the Presbyterian (Church Government), were split regarding slavery, some against, some for it -  this goes for other things too, such as today's PC USA (not PCA), who are open on liberal and progressive, the inclusion of homosexuality and the like compared to the PCA who are not for such things, for the PCA Presbyterians are conservative bible readers.
Presbyterians have several denominations, mainline being PC USA, some who adhere to the confessions and Creeds, hence, the belief of the Trinity. Like past counterparts, the Presbyterians, regardless of denomination are indeed split on a number of things, as stated before.
They are govern by a session of elders in local churches (ruled by a plurality of elders), etc. They are also Evangelicals, for they are the type of people of faith to do missionary based works and activities (belief in missions, spread gospel worldwide).
Other then that, there are those within the same faith who differ from Barnes completely. Barnes however, his work is unique, but I don't think he was the type to gun or defame brothers and sisters in Christianity by means of his works, not the ways of Christians who adhere to what is deemed true compared to those who stray from what is true.
There were also some Christians Albert Barnes was not even aware of, so even if he had the chance, he would not do such to them, for they are all seeking truth after the many movements within the Christian faith.
Long story short, there were some Presbyterian who accept slavery and will fight someone to keep it as such, this faith,, for if we were alive in those times and we debated against slavery, we will meet with such persons who will defend something that is utterly wrong.

Witness got a reaction from Malum Intellectus in Does the Governing Body live on-campus or off-campus?
Yes, it is.  Examine the context from a secular point of view, who also gives scriptural contextual support to his conclusion:
Albert Barnes Notes on the New Testament:
Matt 10:11 – “And into whatsoever city or town ye shall enter, enquire who in it is worthy; and there abide til ye go thence.”
“Who in it is worthy”.  That is, who in it sustains a fair character will be able and disposed to show you hospitality, and will treat you kindly.  This shows that they were not suddenly and needlessly to throw themselves in the way of insult or want. “
On a regular basis, JWs receive insults in their door to door work…repetitively and ‘needlessly’.
“And there abide”.  There remain; as Luke 10 adds, “Go not from house to house.”  They were to content themselves with one house; not to wander about in the manner of vagrants and mendicants; not to be men of idleness, and fond of change; not to seem dissatisfied with the hospitality of the people; but to show that they had regular, important business; to show that they valued their time, were disposed to give themselves to labour, prayer, and meditation; and to be intent only on the business for which he had sent them.  If ministers of the gospel are useful, it will be by not spending their time in idle chitchat, and wandering about as if they had nothing to do; (hmmm, I remember those days “in service” with “pioneers” who never missed their coffee break) but in an honest and laborious improvement of every moment in study, prayer, preaching and religious visiting their people.
At Luke 10:7, he footnotes 1 Tim 5:13:
“And besides they learn to be idle, wandering about from house to house, and not only idle but also gossips and busybodies, saying things which they ought not.“
There is no good connotation attached to going “house to house” within the Bible.
This was a harvesting work directed by Jesus and Holy Spirit, not as Watchtower leaders expect today, following their own agenda as to what to preach, and how. Sheesh, JTR, you, of all JWs here, know that Watchtower’s “new light”, does become “old darkness” – and if once darkness, always darkness.  2 Cor 6:14   Why would Jesus bless such a “good news”? Since the Wt declares another message than what Jesus or the disciples preached; which is, “come to Jehovah’s (“spirit-directed”) organization for salvation”, (Hab 2:18,19)  and doing it in the stubborn manner they choose; I believe, they are clouded by their own agenda; and I am quite aware of what that agenda is.  Those under the “woman” New Covenant promise are under attack by a force that can only be discerned with spiritual understanding.  Jesus knew this would happen, and both he and the Father knew how.  2 Tim 3:1-9; 2 Thess 2:1-4:9-12; Rev 13:1,4-10
How can you not see this?  A hundred years ago, an organization develops that takes on a unique “preaching work” spearheaded by anointed ones.  They become quite efficient at covering each house in a territory – repetitively.  This has never been done before.  The incoming contain more anointed ones along with many others.   During the time of the end, a remarkable “Beast” and false prophet comes against the “saints”.  Has the Catholic church surrounded the “camp of saints”?  Will a political entity successfully surround the “camp of saints”?
Satan’s net is already full of anointed ones (Rev 12:3,4,15) and those who innocently fall into the same trap - the organization.    Hab 1:9-11,15-17  They are flooded with Satan’s lies, which indeed is darkness.  Interestingly, Satan has used the same method of capturing those “under priests” that he used to scout out Jesus – their High Priest.
An example of productive “harvesting” is Ruth, following the direction of Boaz. Ruth 2:8,9,12,17

“And into whatsoever city or town ye shall enter, enquire who in it is worthy; and there abide till ye go thence”  Does this support going “house to house”?
    exetasate exetasate G1833 vm Aor Act 2 Pl OUT-INTERROGATE inquire-ye !
ἐξετάζω exetázō, ex-et-ad'-zo; from G1537 and ἐτάζω etázō (to examine); to test thoroughly (by questions), i.e. ascertain or interrogate:—ask, enquire, search.
Luke 9:4 – “And whatsoever house ye enter into, there abide, and thence depart.”
    menete menete G3306 vm Pres Act 2 Pl BE-YE-REMAINING be-ye-remaining !
μένω ménō, men'-o; a primary verb; to stay (in a given place, state, relation or expectancy):—abide, continue, dwell, endure, be present, remain, stand, tarry (for), × thine own.
Luke 10:7 – “And in the same house remain, eating and drinking such things as they give: for the labourer is worthy of his hire. Go not from house to house.”
Upon entering the city or town, Jesus directed them to “ascertain”, through questions, which house may offer an invitation for them to remain/dwell.
Tell me, how do any of the scriptures that you quote, support going “house to house” – house over house, door to door, as JWs have been doing for years?  And in doing so, keeping a log of each individual who was ‘accepting’; even the names of their animals, kids, etc., which they have come under fire for, in other countries?
What do you think Jesus meant by saying, “go not from house to house”?

Really.  Your (bold and underlined) sentence doesn’t make sense one bit to me.  How do you twist Christ’s specific words regarding how he sent out the 70, which was into towns and cities and into the houses of those who invited them, as well as telling them NOT to go “house to house” (KJV),  as HE REALLY DIDN’T MEAN THAT LAST PART?
This is typical Watchtower talk, reversing the meaning to conveniently fit its purpose.
    "Therefore. Your citation is WRONG!"
Which citation is wrong, mine or Christ’s?  Mine is in harmony with Christ's; yours is just the opposite.
Who searched house to house for the “firstborn” – to destroy the promised seed?  Matt 2:16-18; Gal 3:16
Who has sent out unknowing ones, “house to house” and brought in, with sufficient bait, the “firstfruits”?  Rev 12:17; 13:7; 11:7; 6:9-11; Rev 20:9
There was a reason why Christ said what he did.  It was a tactic used by Herod to kill him.
The Watchtower’s “preaching work” is counterfeit.  There is nothing different about the religion than any other since its database is full of false doctrine and pedophiles, as well as the next religion.  What makes it unique, is it holds the authentic anointed ones, who are the true “witnesses” of God.  Isa 43:10; 1 Pet 2:5,9,10; Gal 3:29,26; As long as the organization can keep them captive with the threat of disfellowshipping, they will not be sealed.  Rev 13:10; 20:7-10; 12:4, 15-17; John 16:2
    Ezek 14:22; 6:8; 7:16; 12:16

But to get back on topic, every lie that the GB has uttered; every false and failed doctrine they have issued as under the direction from God, should lead every JW to question whether they should believe anything these men tell them - even where they may live.

The scripture is not dismissing the preaching of the "good news"... to the "lost sheep of Israel".  Matt 10:23
I am curious why you refer to the Catholic church and the Pope so much.   Is this because both the Watchtower and the Catholic church are hierarchical organizations; thus, making it easy to compare?

You may want to be a bit clearer.  What concept?  And, what is my mistaken view?
