I agree with most all that you are saying, except many children are abused by a parent; a parent they thought they could trust.  Also, I was abused as a girl by someone in the extended family. Because my parents thought so highly of the individual, I never had the heart to tell them of my abuse that lasted years, even though I had an especially close bond with my father.  They died not knowing the sordid truth about my abuser.

I am very sorry to hear that .  I did not dismiss the possibility of a parent being the abuser. It is the saddest of all the abuse cases and unfortunately the most common. It is a betrayal of trust of the worst kind. Only the God of justice will put things right.

Yes, when Jesus was a victim of false accusations against him.
So the Pharisees said to him, “You are testifying about yourself. Your testimony is not valid.”
“Even if I testify about myself,” Jesus replied, “My testimony is true, because I know where I came from and where I’m going. But you don’t know where I come from or where I’m going.  You judge by human standards. I judge no one. And if I do judge, my judgment is true, because it is not I alone who judge, but I and the Father who sent me. Even in your law it is written that the testimony of two witnesses is true.  I am the one who testifies about myself, and the Father who sent me testifies about me.”  John 8:13-18
The authentic priesthood becomes one with Christ as members of his Body.  1 Cor 12:7-11,12; Rom 15:6; 1 Cor 2:16   The Holy Spirit resides in their heart (if faithful) and through their anointing, God’s laws are written on the heart. 2 Cor 3:3; Heb 8:10; God’s judgments can be made through the power of Holy Spirit,  who reads each heart, including the victim’s.  In the case of the adulterous woman whom the Pharisees wanted to stone, she was “caught in the act”, but Jesus’ wisdom still allowed the woman her freedom. John 8:2-11  Solomon also used wisdom God had given him through Holy Spirit, when dealing with the woman who stole the other woman’s baby.  There were not two witnesses in that case, but the baby was restored to its real mother.  1 Chron 1:11,12
Today, the elder body, the false priesthood, cannot reside over such cases with any success, since the Holy Spirit from God does not dwell within their hearts. (Eph 2:22)  It never will, since they are not anointed, (1 John 2:27) and have replaced the authentic priesthood, which is an abomination. Dan 11:31; Matt 24:15; Ezek 44:7; Luke 21:24; Rev 11:1,2
    Within the anointed Body,
“A manifestation of the Spirit is given to each person for the common good:  to one is given a message of wisdom through the Spirit, to another, a message of knowledge by the same Spirit” 1 Cor 12:7,8
    Eph 4:1-6

I’m not sure what you’re getting at.  This was God’s decree, an incident where two witnesses were not needed to accuse the guilty.   Aren’t God’s decrees enough of a “witness”? The Wt. refuses to acknowledge these scriptures; and correct me if I am wrong, but I seem to remember  G. Jackson said they didn’t apply.  If he had spiritual wisdom, he could see how they would apply to the child abuse issue today.  Ps 119:1-4,18,27,32-34,66

Not all anointed ones are uninspired.  Some actually, are guided by Holy Spirit.
This is a comment I found by an anointed one, very much inspired:
“The Bible makes clear, that there are cases which DO NOT require two witnesses, such as murder and rape (Deut.22:25-27). In both crimes, there was no witness at all. IN FACT, a child is not capable of resistance toward a crafty adult, despite the useless advice for the prevention of child abuse which is given in the Awake's futile magazine article. It places blame on the incapable victim, should they be molested, by depicting an image of a child with her hand up, to her would-be rapist.

Jesus also let us know, that God Himself can be considered a witness (John8:18). If "elders" believe that they are appointed by the action of that very spirit of God, can it not also testify to guilt or innocence, in response to a prayerful petition?
Of course, God will not respond to the prayer of the wicked, just as He refuses to respond to the prayers of the GB, as they themselves admitted, about their decision to build at Warwick.”

Yes Witness, i know that, thanks for excellent link.
I just made irony with Allen Smith comments. He connected "Priest Confidence" as justification for JW elders. But for rank and file members it would be confusing to hear how he compare gods shepherds aka elders with Catholic priesthood. WT denied existence of priest-laity distinction among JW members. But this is exactly what they have. Distinction.
For public everyday using JWorg say, "we don't have priests, clergy, hierarchy" - but in Courts WT lawyers claims opposite. Hypocrites!

Yes it is easy for those Bethel Princes in WT who sitting in comfortable offices and deeply meditates about some stuff, would it be this or that and then get in is some kind of trans and find some really bright ideas about issue. Put that in publications and JW org and conventions. Drilling JW members with ideas and dfd those if they do not agree. And after few years or few decades decide to change that doctrine with "new light" mantra. For WT "bible scholars" it is easy, i agree.
For rest of members? - that depends on various personal factors :)))) live to your imagination what would this factors be.

The word “substituting” was added by the NWT.  It isn't found in the Greek Interlinear.   An ambassador acts as a representative.  There is difference.  Also, every anointed one is to “represent” Jesus through their teachings in harmony with his.  John 13:20; John 15:4  The GB have fully usurped Christ’s Headship, and demand obedience from the rest of the anointed ones.  Matt 24:48-51 So, yes, “substituting“ is a good descriptive term for them; they have become “Christ” for a day, or so they think so.  Of course, it has been said, many other anointed ones are a bit “wacky”; most likely from drinking the “Harlot’s” intoxicating brew. Rev 17:1,2  Maybe they don’t deserve a place they can call “home”?
Do you remember Eoin, when all anointed ones were referred to as the "faithful and discreet slave", even though that is still Christ's judgment call?  Luke 19:17
Why not?  Jesus said, “my kingdom is not part of this world” 18:36
     What about God’s Kingdom?
“Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.”  2 Pet 3:13
Because Jesus said nothing built within the earth was needed to worship in spirit and truth.  John 4:21-14
“So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.”  2 Cor 4:18
Acts points out that God is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything.  Acts 17:24,25
    2 Tim 4:3
The “preaching” began in Jesus day.  In 2,000 years, the Bible made its way around most the world with no problem. During that time there were anointed ones walking the earth with truth in their mouth. Matt 25:14-23; Mal 2:7  Within only the last 100 years, the organization has taken on what they believe is the true "preaching work". Today, the final preaching work is to spiritual “Israel”, who have been captivated through a false preaching work, driven by lies and man's greed.  Matt 10:23; 2 Tim 3:1-9; Col 2:8; Rev 13:10
The “suitable premises” that initiates God’s work is within the righteous hearts, and where Mount Zion is found.  Isa 43:10; 1 Pet 2:5,9; 1 Cor 3:16,17; 2 Cor 6:16; Eph 2:20-22; Rev 21:22-24
“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal;  but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”  Matt 6:19-21
“Then the second angel sounded: And something like a great mountain burning with fire was thrown into the sea, and a third of the sea became blood.  And a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed.”   Rev 8:8,9
Outside of the “mountainlike organization” come the final living stones to finish off God’s Temple – not from within.  Rev 16:12; Rev 11:1-3; Zech 4:7-10; Rev 7:13,14; Rev 5:9,10
A composite Master has been developed to rule over people – the organization, the elder body, the GB.  It requires another’s money and identity to remain under this ‘slavery’.  For a false promise of paradise, people “sell” their identity to a corporation, in exchange for the work of their hands.  If one secretly never donates, they are still slaves to fear - fear of the loss of their life as they know it, if they choose to follow the only Master, Jesus Christ.  Matt 10:39; Luke 9:23

Yes, I was, until I realized that worshiping God requires only one “mark” on our spiritual forehead, the source of our spiritual thoughts and actions – the mark of God.
    Baptism questions:
    "The first question is:
On the basis of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, have you repented of your sins and dedicated yourself to Jehovah to do his will?

    The second is:
Do you understand that your dedication and baptism identify you as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in association with God's spirit-directed organization? Having answered yes to these questions, candidates are in a right heart condition to undergo Christian baptism."
“Don’t you know that if you offer yourselves to someoneas obedient slaves, you are slaves of that one you obey—either of sin leading to death or of obedience leading to righteousness?”  Rom 6:16
From “What You Vow You Pay”  Wt. 4/2017
Have you dedicated your life to Jehovah and symbolized your dedication by baptism in water? If you have, that is wonderful! Do you remember when the brother giving the baptism talk asked whether you had dedicated yourself to Jehovah and understood that “your dedication and baptism identify you as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses”?
Where in the scriptures are we required to dedicate ourselves to an organization?  It certainly can’t be found in these words of Jesus:
"Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you."
What I find alarming, is that the Holy Spirit is not addressed in the baptism questions; but a “spirit-directed organization” replaces it; the work of a false prophet.  Rev 13:15-17  Obviously, Jesus' command to heed his words are ignored by the organization.
Our vow is only to God and Christ.
“Then I looked, and there was the Lamb, standing on Mount Zion, and with him were 144,000 who had his name and his Father's name written on their foreheads.”  Rev 14:1
    Gal 1:10; Rev 13:16,8,17
“When you make a vow to God, don’t delay fulfilling it, because he does not delight in fools. Fulfill what you vow.”  Eccl 5:4

Quality   is another topic. If never ending changes of doctrines, instructions, interpretations some of us want to call as "success" - let it be.

The organization is a man-made creation, not an anointed individual. David gave full reverence to God.  JWs are unable to do this, since they believe the organization is, as you made the comparison to David – empowered.  Rev 13:5,15

Wonderful ? I see numbers make a big impression on you.  Apparently truth may not.
How many translations does it take to understand what has happened to God’s Temple?  One.
    KJV Ezek 44:8,9 --
8 “In that ye have brought into my sanctuary strangers, uncircumcised in heart, and uncircumcised in flesh, to be in my sanctuary, to pollute it, even my house, when ye offer my bread, the fat and the blood, and they have broken my covenant because of all your abominations.
9 “And ye have not kept the charge – “guard, charge, function, obligation, service, watch”
of mine holy things - apartness, holiness, sacredness, separateness, sanctuary, of God, a sacred place or thing
but ye have set keepers - to keep, guard, observe, give heed
of my charge - charge, keep, or to be kept, office, ordinace, guard, charge, function, obligation, service, watch
in my sanctuary  - sacred place, sanctuary, holy place, of the temple
    for yourselves
Exactly what is happening in the Watchtower through the elder body.
Those who are to teach and provide spiritual sacrifices are the anointed ones.  I’ve given you the scriptures.  They are the “circumcision” as well as part of God’s Temple.  Rom 2:29; Col 2:11; 1 Cor 3:16,17  To allow others to act as priests in their place transgresses God's sanctuary.  There's two sides of this abomination.  As God's sanctuary, foreigners are trampling it.  As God's priests, others have taken their place.
Now, read the NWT. It pales in comparison, it lacks power and understanding of the abomination existing in God’s Temple.

Hi. I would like to make little digression. I spent hours and hours listening official video records from ARC in 2015. Here/There all viewer are been, and today also can be able, to hear and see (to hear and see, audio-visual is very important) "first-hand evidence" from all involved and called to present their testimony in front Commission and public as well.
Victims, elders, witnesses on this and that, GB member, all of them were in witness chair, and for us who followed program,  we been able to get impressions on what we saw and heard. Is my personal view after that, wrong or right, that is my problem. But words was been told and facts are here.

The same is also with Australian Royal Commission in 2015. No single word on JW broadcasting or publications. Because of the the fact that WT never mentioned nothing officially, for JW public - officially, for  members looks as nothing was happened at all. No pedophiles, no victims, no Court or Commissions investigations, decisions, out of Court settlements ...
JW members are trained to not believe nothing that come from secular source what have any connections about WT and JW Church.
Cognitive dissonance is very strong and go to direction of full trust to WT leaders. Trust to men. Sad.

@Srecko Sostar you are being personally downvoted for spreading the news about our organization and that's sad. This isn't an apostate fabrication. Does reality trigger JWs on here? Us JWs have to face the reality of what's happening instead of digging our heads in the sand. We may face these questions in the ministry.
Honestly, the organization needs to be 100% transparent right now about their child abuse policies, because we act as representatives for them when we go out. I shouldn't have to view some weird PDF of the Shepherd's Flock book to get a grasp of the org's policies (which I still don't get).

Witness got a reaction from Foreigner in "Nourishing Spiritual Food"?
Srecko compared it to healthy water of a questionable substance.
Jesus is “living water”. John 7:38  If offered Watchtower’s glass of tainted water, and a glass of Jesus’ living water directly from the source, surely you would choose the latter.  Your comment establishes that Wt. is unable to bring anyone to this source.  Approaching Jesus directly is the more difficult route to take, because of the ramifications we suffer by doing so;  but in the long run it guarantees eternal life. Luke 9:24   Just from the little that I gather about you, you are a determined fighter and someone whom I have come to admire; but why would we back off fighting for eternal life and settle for allowing our “hat”/mind to be stomped into the mud by men who are unable, and really could care less, about offering eternal life?
“Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord:  looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled”  Heb 12:14,15
This is referring to wormwood, a “bitter root”, that scriptures mention that God “sends” to his wayward people when they have sinned against him.  Jer 9:13-16; Lam 3:15; 2 Thess 2:11,12
“The leaves and flowers are very bitter, with a characteristic odour, resembling that of thujone. The root has a warm and aromatic taste.  (A Modern Herbal)
Hebrews 12:14,15 is associating fallen anointed ones to this root, whose demeanor and teachings appear palatable and inviting, perhaps even speaking as Christ. Matt 7:15-17; Mark 13:21,22; 1 John 4:1; Rev 13:11; 20:10
“Wormwood oil contains the chemical thujone, which excites the central nervous system.  However, it can also cause seizures and other adverse effects.” (webmd.com)
“Intoxications have resulted from the ingestion of an aqueous decoction of thujone containing plants, for their supposed abortifacient action. Death by overdose has been reported for wormwood”.  (The Essential Guide to Herbal Safety)
Anointed ones are compared to stars in the heavens. Matt 5:14,15; Phil 2:15  Those who wisely “shine” as “messengers” (angels) are in the “right hand” of Jesus. (Mal 2:7); Rev 1:20  Although they can be physically on the earth, they are secured in their “heavenly” position as stars in Jesus’ hand.  Eph 2:6; Rom 8:9; Heb 12:22,23
“Also, regard the patience of our Lord as salvation, just as our dear brother Paul has written to you according to the wisdom given to him. 16 He speaks about these things in all his letters. There are some matters that are hard to understand. The untaught and unstable will twist them to their own destruction, as they also do with the rest of the Scriptures.
Therefore, dear friends, since you know this in advance, be on your guard, so that you are not led away by the error of lawless people and fall from your own stable position.  But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. 2 Pet 3:5-18
It is very possible for anointed ones to lose their position in the Body of Christ; forfeiting the promise of salvation.  Ps 101:7; Heb 12:16  They are the root who mislead “many” by their teachings.
In two places in Revelation a star is seen falling from heaven. Rev 8:10,11 names the star, Wormwood, and through its fall onto rivers and springs of water, (those basic true teachings) a symbolic “one third” of the waters become wormwood.  The symbolic meaning of three in scripture shows significant effect on a complete whole.  Take a large 100 year old ladle, stir well, and “many people die from the waters because they had become bitter”.
The source of “bitter” fruit, begins at the root. Matt 12:33-37; 3:10
Revelation is like a puzzle, with each piece full of color and descriptions of the same scenario.
Wormwood is the fallen star, “Beast from the earth”, false prophet, Harlot/ Governing Body and generally all major leaders of the Watchtower. It falls like a “burning torch”, hardly something to be missed, especially to the “elect”.  Would it not “light up the whole house” and appear to be from Christ?   Prov 5:3-5; Rev 13:11; Rev 17:1; Matt 5:15; Matt 24:24; Eph 2:20-24
The Wild Beast from the Sea is the locust/scorpion “Gentile” army that Wormwood releases from the abyss, after it falls from heaven; after it has spearheaded Satan’s plan into action. It is the gradual, steady growth of the now massive army of the Body of Elders who are the beating heart of the organization. Rev 13:1,4
The description both in Revelation and Joel of the locusts, fit the actions and intentions of the Elder Body, exactly. Rev 9:7-11; Joel 2:3-11 By replacing the anointed priesthood, the result of the locusts’ “sting” and Wormwood’s water, brings spiritual affliction upon the unsealed anointed ones. ("seizures and other adverse effects")  Luke 22:24-26; Matt 24:48-51; Rev 9:4-6
The Beasts are Gog and Magog who have surround the camp of the holy people.  Rev 20:7-9 Both identities have convinced the multitude of JWs, that the bulk of Revelation is not about them and God’s anointed people, but about the rest of mankind.  They will be judged according to God’s righteous judgment; but God’s anointed people are subjected to this delusion of Satan’s, to test/sift each heart for their love of pure, healthy living water, or a barely potable, intoxicating cup from a questionable source.  Rev 18:2,3; Luke 22:31; Rev 12:1-4
“Then I saw three unclean spirits like frogs (it takes time to become a full-fledged lie)
coming from the dragon’s mouth, from the beast’s mouth (organization), and from the mouth of the false prophet.
For they are demonic spirits performing signs, who travel (preaching work) to the kings (anointed ones) of the whole world (of God’s “inhabited dwelling”)  to assemble them for the battle on the great day of God, the Almighty.
“Look, I am coming like a thief. Blessed is the one who is alert and remains clothed (Heb 4:13; Matt 22:37) so that he may not go around naked and people see his shame.”  So they assembled the kings at the place called in Hebrew, Armageddon."  Rev 16:13-16
In Ezekiel, Gog is destroyed in the valley of “Hamon-Gog” – the “multitude of Gog”, “a valley of graves”.  Joel 3:14 calls it, “the valley of decision”, where “multitudes” are found.  Ezek 39:11
John 7:38 -  “The one who believes in me, as the Scripture has said, will have streams of living water flow from deep within him.”
“Deep” meaning at the root, which is the heart.  Matt 13:18-23; Luke 6:45
You are wise, but there are those contacted in the “preaching work” who are not as intelligent, (like me) and wouldn’t know how to avoid the poison.  Who is responsible when the person suffers from its affect; the one dangling the carrot, the one snatching it up… or both?
Since Satan also knows the core truths, he uses them to set the foundation for the lie.  Rev 13:2
