Witness got a reaction from Patiently waiting for Truth in Since Moses was called elohim, does that make him God?
I didn't, it was the translation that did.
He was God's spokesman; yes as God's representative to the people; and given divine authority.
"For no prophecy was ever produced by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit"  2 Pet 1:21

Christ's disciples grew up under the old law covenant.  In one day, Jesus overturned their belief system.  They were gradually learning from the words of Jesus.
His words/teachings have been around for over 2,000 years.  So what excuse do Wt's leaders of spiritual "Israel" have, for being so confused, evident in 150 years of ever changing doctrine?  Did it take 150 years for the apostles to figure it out?
“These things I have spoken to you while being present with you. 26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you."  John 14:26
“But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me."  John 15:26
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened."  Matt 7:7,8
Confusion is not how Christ teaches truth.  Follow just one string of doctrine in the organization and it is evident that the doctrine's creator is confusion; which means, its leadership does not have the "Spirit of truth".
"For God is not the author of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints."  1 Cor 14:33

Exactly right, but the Wt. leaders are experts at creating confusing doctrines.  So, Christ's followers would reject such doctrine and rely on the words already established in Jesus Christ.

What I'm trying to say is, this forum is not an ice-cream social.  Perhaps there are a few who are seeking fellowship; but surely you notice that it is battle of beliefs - of truth against lies.  Jesus, the apostles, the prophets -  all "associated" with people of bad character in the sense of bringing them their message.

Which doctrine is worse - believing in the trinity, or believing in the Great Pyramid of Giza as the "God's Stone Witness"... or believing that the generation of anointed who could somehow conceptualize the "birth" of the kingdom in 1914, would be a generation that never passed away...or believing that Armageddon would arrive in 1975 (and the many dates before that)?
Which lie, is worse?  Because they are all lies.  Does a lie soften its intent to mislead, if it said by leaders of "Jehovah's organization"?
Lies, are what cause divisions.  Luke 12:51-53  Jesus never told us to tolerate the lying doctrines of men.  It cannot be dismissed that each teaching I mentioned, fall under the category of doctrines of men.   To the Pharisees whom Jesus directed the words of Matt 15:7-9 to, he finally told them, "your house is abandoned to you", in Luke 13:35.  He didn't tolerate the lies and doctrine of men in those days, and neither did his disciples.  So why would a JW believe he would today?  False prophets are influenced by powerful demonic spirits, and able to influence "many" to believe them.     Matt 7:15-20; 1 Tim 4:1; 2 Pet 2:2
Babylon the Great - a promise -  is where lies are told.  Isa 28:14,15; Rev 18:4-8
"This is what the Lord of Armies says: “Do not listen to the words of the prophets who prophesy to you. They are deluding you. They speak visions from their own minds, not from the Lord’s mouth."  Jer 23:16
"Leave Babylon; save your lives, each of you! Don’t perish because of her guilt. For this is the time of the Lord’s vengeance— he will pay her what she deserves."   Jer 51:6
The one who stays quiet in the organization, knowing its leadership have deceived the flock with untruths, is afraid of men.
Put no more trust in a mere human,
who has only the breath in his nostrils.
What is he really worth?  Isa 2:22

How does the Almighty God work?  He abandons His people when they sin - when they listen to false prophets who prophesy illusions.  He abandons them when they become idolaters, investing time and energy into idols such as "organization".  They suffer for their hard-heartedness.  If they call out wanting to know TRUTH  - the truth about the lie they were living under, He hears them and acts to rescue them from the enemies that God allowed to overcome them.  (Matt 24:24,25; Col 2:8; Rev 13:5-7,10,15;16:13-16)
This is how God works.  He expects His people to repent of their sins.  This is why He does certain things, but because He never changes, He will never tolerate a people who follow the teachings of false teachers/false prophets, and who say they represent Jesus Christ - HIS SON, WHO IS TRUTH.  (John 14:6)   That is why leaving the organization is vital to one's salvation.  (Matt 24:15,16; 2 Thess 2:3,4,9-12)

No one alone can remove them - that is true.  But, it is promised that God will put it into the hearts of the elder body/"man of lawlessness", along with anointed ones, to have them removed.  Rev 17:15-18

Being an ex-JW is not a bad thing. It is not a sin. Because it is plain to see that God and Christ do not work through the JW Org, and do not work through the GB.

    Simple answer, It is in Scripture.  Matthew 7 : 15 - 17
    Berean Study Bible
Beware of false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.
By their fruit you will recognize them. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?
Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.
    Deuteronomy 18:22
    Berean Study Bible
When a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD and the message does not come to pass or come true, that is a message the LORD has not spoken. The prophet has spoken presumptuously. Do not be afraid of him.
From the time of Russell the Leaders have thought they are the 'Faithful and Discreet Salve'. They have thought they were giving the 'proper food at the proper time'.  But the food they were giving was LIES. The scripture above proves it.
The Scriptures judge the Governing Body of Jehovah's witnesses.
Therefore I am not placing myself above Christ.
But, as I've been told before on here, there is no one in the JW Org above the GB. No one in the JW Org can get the GB to confess or repent. No JWs can remove the whole GB from that Org.
So the Org contiues to dominated by a Wicked Slave thet beats their fellow slaves.

I wasn't commenting on suicide, but on Srecko's comment -
Some of you are already resisting the "nonsense" that comes from GB, while at the same time you are watching some of your spiritual brothers and sisters stumble under the burden of theology that you are aware has failed. ............. Don't you feel sad? Don't you want to help them not be afraid of man?

Those questions should pierce the heart of every JW.
“Teacher, which command in the law is the greatest?”
37 He said to him, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.  38 This is the greatest and most important command. 39 The second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. 40 All the Law and the Prophets depend on these two commands.”  Matt 22:36-40
If the congregations were practicing these two “laws”, no one would be disfellowshipped or shunned for exposing the danger of men’s superiority over them, and exposing their false doctrines. Love of God and neighbor would require it.  If the leadership demand obedience to their word, they are exalting themselves above the words of Christ.  What's more important, allowing your neighbor to be stumbled by the "burden of theology", or leading your neighbor to the "simplicity that is in Christ"? (2 Cor 11:3)

I would say, how can we draw a parallel from the characters of Moses and Aaron. WTJWorg is considered the successor of all of God’s organizations that have emerged throughout history, to use their logic. Noah's Ark = God's Organization, Nation Israel = God's Organization, First Assembly = God's Organization, WTBTS = God's Organization.
However, each of the above had "Earth Representatives", so Moses would be the archetype of GB, and Aaron would be the representative of today's Helpers.
Both of today’s classes at WTJWorg feel that they are inspired (guided) by God and that their instructions should be followed without discussion.
As with Moses and Aaron, who made compromises to please the people, so today’s religious leaders are making changes in theology and practice. Sometimes they are a relief to the people, and sometimes an additional burden.
So, enough about the alleged "spirit guidance". Because the comment provided by Thinking proves this setting or thesis.
Like other leaders of the people, GB and Helpers = Administration, monitor the beats and pulse of their people. When the pressure in the “body” of the assembly becomes too high something must be done. In other words, there are changes in interpretations. You who are permanent members of the JW Assembly are better informed about the new changes, bigger and smaller. Sometimes they have to come because of changes in the “outside world,” and most come because of internal events.
It is unfortunate that you, JW members, who see the reality within WTJWorg, are still trying to defend what is indefensible. Because if a certain theology still lives in WTJWorg, and you are willing to support and defend it, how will you feel when it is changed, and you knew something was wrong?
Some of you are already resisting the "nonsense" that comes from GB, while at the same time you are watching some of your spiritual brothers and sisters stumble under the burden of theology that you are aware has failed. ............. Don't you feel sad? Yes, you are right, he is reading from the book, “We left Jehovah’s Witnesses” by Edmond Gruss.  He has done a few videos on segments from the book.  The maker of the video and his wife have made a lot of videos, but I personally, have only seen a few; and from I have gathered, they are both exjws.

    BUT,
True Christians would NOT tell lies pretending to know when Armageddon is going to happen.
True Christians would NOT insult and degrade the True Anointed ones.
True Christians would NOT hide Pedophiles in their organization.
True Christians would NOT cast out Victims of Child Sexual Abuse, nor call those children liars.
True Christians would NOT allow people to become collateral damage within their Organization, just to keep the outside of that Org looking 'nice' and 'clean'.
In fact, True Christians wound NOT be Jehovah's Witnesses.

Really @Srecko Sostar!  😀  Rachel is sending her letters by the literal thousands to JWs world-wide.  This one with the QR code is being mailed as a post card.  How one person is able to accomplish what she's doing, can only be through the blessing of God's Spirit.
"angels" are messengers - human messengers.  🙂
"And another, a third angel, followed them and spoke with a loud voice: “If anyone worships the beast and its image and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand, 10 he will also drink the wine of God’s wrath, which is poured full strength into the cup of his anger. He will be tormented with fire and sulfur in the sight of the holy angels and in the sight of the Lamb, 11 and the smoke of their torment will go up forever and ever. There is no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and its image, or anyone who receives the mark of its name. 12 This calls for endurance from the saints, who keep God’s commands and their faith in Jesus.”  Rev 14:9-12
Jer 23:29 -  “Is not My word like fire”—this is the Lord’s declaration—“and like a hammer that pulverizes rock?"
